I had asked a male employee tall in stature for assistance to purchase a hydrant. He was pushing a buggy and rudely turned his back on me explaining where they were. He kept walking. I told my buddy what had happened and I gave no physical detail and he knew exactly the employee I was talking about. In his own words, I dont like him and he didnt help you because you werent female. I would love to talk to the district manager regarding this incident. From what I was told he is a manager at the store. Previously, I have had nothing but good experiences at the Tractor Supply in Calcutta.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. My trip here was good right up until I went to go over the the baby chickens. There is 2 small signs stating that team that members only were allowed to handle chickens(that I did not notice). Then I was approached by a man supposedly by the name of Tom. Tom was a real d**k. He approached me while I was opening the gate and told me to leave the store and that I was super disrespectful. It would not of been a big deal if he approached me and asked me nicely and then it would of been over and this review would not have existed. Keep in mind I’m from out of town and a long term customer of tractor supply and have never received this kind of treatment.

Why rent trailers if you cant have them over night and they dont open till 8am I need trailer at 5am

Tractor Supply is a good company with friendly folks everywhere.This store is an exception.All truckers nightmare, thats what this place is.Save yourself the trouble, back in from Hwy 170 all the way to the dock.Ask no one to help you, the manager can be an a$$hole, his associates will tell you. We have found that at Tractor Supply you can find many items for your small farm or large farm and lots of other things that you wouldnt think would be there always a pleasure to shop at Tractor Supply they have good service if you need help and are clean and Speedy to help you if you are in need of services well be seeing you again soon

Clean store. Helpful people work here. They help find things, help choose right things, help load heavy bags into carts or vehicles. Good selection of merchandise. Fair prices. Found parts for my wood burner couldnt find anywhere else. If they dont have an item they r willing to try to find it n order it. Store is handicap accessible. Some aisles may be a little tricky getting around. Unlike some places I have never felt like I was unwanted, like they were there for paycheck only. Employees seem to care.Parking lot in Calcutta, Ohio is a bit small. I fell into a dozie of a hole in dark. Parking lot in Chippewa, Pa is larger n better shape.

Parking lot can be a little crowded and difficult for larger vehicles. Store is always clean, the staff is helpful, and they generally have all of the supplies we need.

Im always impressed with their staff. They are very helpful and friendly. I do all of my outdoor shopping here. When I have any questions any they are more than happy to help you. Id highly recommend this store to anyone.

Id give it 5 stars except their prices are so high. But the other guys are far away from me and ts is right around the corner from me. But the staff is always very helpful

We visited the vet that was there today and they were very professional, quick, gentle with giving shots( he didnt even notice), very Knowledgeable and took the time to make sure that we understood everything and answered all of our questions

The Calcutta location is always easy to get in and out of. They always have whatever my dad needs for the farm and are dog friendly! Thats right, doesnt have to be a support dog. As long as he/she is on a leash.

Me, my 2 brothers, and my dad needed boots and rain suits for the next day. We had everything we needed and had some time to kill so we decided to look at the baby chickens. We saw a sign to be careful with the chicks with hand sanitizer next to it so we thought we could open the gate and hold them. A worker named “Tom” came up to us and said “Don’t open that gate”. My brother thought he was joking because of how serious he was and the man said “You have to leave the store”. My brother, trying to be polite, said “sorry I didn’t know” and the guy kept telling us to leave and threatened to call the police. We didn’t want to cause trouble so we bought our stuff and left. I DO NOT recommend this store. All he had to do was ask!

Ive been here lots of times and never had problems with the staff. Anyone can have an off day. Its nice to have a store that has the odd things that a blue collar worker and rural home needs.

Called and was left on hold for 9 minutes and 38 seconds so I drove over and went to the service desk. Told the person I wanted to get the garden tractor trailer they had and he walked away and went outside. He came back in and started working the register. I asked him if I needed to go to his register and he told me he forgot I had asked about the trailer. Told the kid at the register I was at what I wanted and he said it was in the book he looked and could no find it. I walked away without what I came for. Guess that is why I should just stick with Amazon.

Needed to replace bird feeders that were destroyed by a bear. Yes, we had a roving smorgasbord bird feeder, scavenging bear that destroyed several peoples bird feeders. Found exactly what I needed in my replacements plus bird suet was 79 cents.

Most of there products are over priced. I went to get a heat bulb for a reptile and they only had 4 bulbs all 250w for chickens.

Hard to find an employee to get help looking for something

It has basically everything that you want and then some obscure parts that you would not find any place else all you have to do is ask and search

Everything for the lawn and garden, workshop, toolroom. They not only have a great selection of farm and outdoor supplies but a huge section for all of your dog and cat needs. Ask about their periodic dog and cat clinics as well!

Only one check-out usually when theres 50 people waiting. Pretty lazy crowd.
