I bring my car here on September 2, 2021 for the free car care check. The technician Tim was the one who looked over my car. He tells me that I need the 2 front lower control arms replaced. He tells me that the 2 front outer tie rods needs replaced, he says the 2 front wheel bearings hub assembly needs to be replaced, he says that both front axles need to be replaced, the funny thing about this I had all these things replaced except the wheel bearing and hub assembly. Then he gets to telling me all these outrageous prices for the parts and labor. When hes done I then tell him that I just had all these replaced already except the wheel bearing and hub assembly and it kinda startled him his come back was I need to take it in on the warranty for the parts and labor that I had done. I told them Ill get with them when Im ready for the work. Upon leaving I get the paperwork back but all the services and prices werent on the invoice, I go back in and ask where the invoice for the things Tim said I needed, they act like they didnt know that I didnt have the paper, so they copy it onto another sheet of paper. I needed this so when I take it to another shop that Ill for a second opinion, which I already knew I didnt need these things. I go today September 8, 2021 to another shop and they do the same inspection, they didnt find anything what Tim said, only thing was true was that I needed was front wheel bearing and hub assembly for both sides and front struts (I already knew this)but Tim didnt say anything about the struts. Tim tried to get me to pay for services that I didnt need. I will be calling corporate on this location and inform them on the shady employees that they have working there, future customers please be aware of this location and Tim

Needed a battery installed and was on a time crunch. The gentleman at the front desk was amazing! Checked with staff, came back and said we can do it. Had me in and it under 45 min! Great work and 5 stars for excellent service and excellent work!

I would like to thank the East Peoria Goodyear employees that took such excellent care of me today. You were all amazing. Im from out of town and while heading to Peoria on the highway, my low tire pressure warning ⚠️ came on. My tires are brand new, so I knew that meant only that I had a punctured tire. So there I was, driving around an unfamiliar area (Pinecrest), looking for a gas station air pump and praying that I wouldnt be stuck on the side of the road with a flat on a pickup truck with locking lugs. I dont know how I managed to stumble upon the ONLY place open that could fix my tire but Im so glad I did. All of you working today were my guardian angels. You not only worked me in, but also didnt charge me for plugging the hole in my tire.You guys (and gals) absolutely ROCK! Ill forever be thankful for your assistance.

So impressed! My windshield wiper quit during a rainstorm, and I was stranded in East Peoria. I took my car in, hoping that maybe they could fix it, but figuring theyd charge me a ton because they knew I was desperate. They fixed the wiper and charged me nothing! Ive always appreciated their fair prices, but this was above and beyond! Id highly recommend them!

I had a flat and blew a hole in my tire’s sidewall. Obviously, I wasn’t going anywhere like that. Wally, Lisa, and the rest of the crew at East Peoria Goodyear went above and beyond to get a new tire fitted and get me on my way. They were friendly, professional, and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. I’ll definitely be back.

Went in for a oil change and a 29 point inspection. I had some vibration and a brake light and check engine light on. When I wen to pick up the vehicle the lady at the front desk didn’t recognize me when I walked in then just tried to had me my keys and not go over anything the mechanic found. I had to literally ask then she couldn’t read his writing I didn’t get a copy of what he wrote on my invoice either which I thought was weird. They didn’t check the light or anything else and she told me they wouldn’t unless I asked. So what was the 29 point inspection for? They didn’t do it and I specifically asked them to. So now I have to take it somewhere else to find out the things I need to fix that’s the only reason I took it there to get the oil changed was the inspection. I’ve had several problems with them in the past but I gave it a couple years thinking they may have new staff but nope just as incompetent. Also I didn’t like how she had me sign the invoice without going over any of the cost or labor with me after I payed literally slapped it down and said sign this.

The East Peoria Goodyear store has been taking care of all my vehicles for almost 20 years now. I get amazing service from the staff, have never been sold anything I didnt need and always get top quality service. Ive never had to bring my vehicle back to them for something that wasnt fixed right.Wont think of using any other shop than the East Peoria Goodyear store.

Ive been a loyal Firestone customer for years. I had a bad experience with Goodyear in the past, but I was in a jam and I am glad I was. I came across a store I will be giving my loyalty to. I needed to get an alignment done and I could only get in at Goodyear. I called in to make an appointment and Firestone said it would be a few days, so I called around and found the best deal was at Goodyear. I brought my car in and was surprised to see the place. It hasnt changed much over the years. I sat down and waited for my car to be done. A really nice guy named Alex came to get me out of the waiting area so my husband and I followed him into the shop. I listened as Alex explained what was going on with the car. He must talk two different languages because as usual I hadnt a clue what he said. I asked my husband what he said and he started rattling off the same thing. Well, Alex took notice and was able to explain it to me in terms that I understood. I was blown away. Im always afraid to bring my car anywhere because I feel I am getting taken advantage of. I fully understood when I left what an outer tie rod end was and why I couldnt do the alignment until it was done. I am VERY appreciative of the people that work here. I am highly suggesting this store as I WILL be a returning customer again and again.

I had an appointment, but they acted like I was lucky they could work me in and warned me about the long wait I was in for. Normally appointments guarantee that you get in reasonably close to the time you set. Also, it seemed more expensive than other shops Ive been to.

Got a screw stuck in my tire & they got me in right away! I was so thankful & blown away at their kindness. Even helped me salvage my tire to help with finances rather than just saying I need a new tire altogether! Will absolutely be returning in the future.

I do not recommend this place. Had a bent wheel, which they showed me but, a few minutes later refused to let me get part number from wheel so I could order a new one. Upon returning home, removed wheel to get part number and found wheel weights were falling off because they didnt bother to clean the wheel where the weights were stuck on. I have many years experience in the automobile business. This is highly unacceptable. Well, I am now going to ad to my review!! Found out that they did not remove the original wheel weights when balancing the tires and they didnt clean the wheels off when putting new stick on weights on so within a week they fell off and my tires were out of balance. Purchased new wheels to solve my original issue. Stopped in today to give them a chance to take care of it. I was very polite as I have worked automotive retail before. I asked to have my new wheels installed and asked if they would be willing to discount the service due to the fact that they were not balanced properly. The service writer(assuming manager) was extremely rude, told me, to be candid with you, I dont believe I want to work on your car I thanked him and left. I have never been treated this poorly by any business and will be sure to let everyone know how rude the employees are and that you have terrible service.

I had an issue with my truck that needed addressed immediately. They were the only shop to get me in that day, and worked non stop to get me back on the road. As well as working on other peoples vehicles. Great service. Good people. Thanks guys!

They were fast and professional. I had to do an alignment and it only took them 35 minutes from check in to drive off. As far as the quality, we will have to see but I doubt there will be any issues. I took 1 star away because the mechanic that worked on it left grease on the exterior door trim and a few places on the interior. Nothing a good wipe from a micro fiber cloth wont fix, just annoying.

Work was completed sooner and for less than promised. Will return and definitely would recommend.

Oil change and one tire. 1 1/2 hrs and $197 later. Have them review the bill with you before paying.

Sudden brake problem 50 miles from home on a Sunday. They were open with a mechanic on duty and a block from Costco where I was headed anyway. I had no appointment of course but waited 45 minutes and they got me in. Problem wasnt serious and they checked everything over so I could drive home without any concerns or problems. Very grateful for the great service! Price was reasonable also. Thanks!

I took my car there for an alignment. Just had new tires put on at another place, is the reason for the alignment. The place that I got the tires from had no issues(problems) with the car. After getting the alignment as I was driving out of their parking lot,I heard a clunking sound. I took it right back in and told them about it. They gave me an estimate near $1000.00 to fix it and told me what the problem was. I did not have any issues with my car before taking it in there. And if they were to do the work it would not have fixed the problem!!! I took the car to three other mechanics and they told me what the issue was. I called the Goodyear shop and talked to the manager about it and he had an I do not care attitude about it!!! Well I took the car to a different mechanic and the issue was resolved! It cost me $320 to fix the issue! THEREFORE BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!

Bad customer service. After agreeing to over $2,000 of repairs to my vehicle they gave me the run around and did not respond to my inquiries for over a week. After a week without a car they were still waiting to hear back from the parts supplier (I went online and found all the parts needed with a simple google). Needless to say they lost my business. Dont waste your time because that is all they are good for.

Took vehicle there for tire rotate and flat repair ( warranty work ). I guess since it was free work for them they were in no hurry. Took 7 1/2 hours before work was done. Take my car there for regular service all the time, normally very good and timely work but this the worst visit I ever had.

This review is a little late but after recent service with wifes car I thought I would post it. Had oil changed a leak in tire fixed and tires rotated. First 2 services done. The third didnt even attempt to do. Tires were in the same place. Only good thing is that was at no charge.

Good price on 4 new tires. Also installed in about a hour.

Go to East Peoria Tire instead, much better service, faster, and less expensive --Went in this place with a slow leak, asked the guy at the counter how much that typically costs--he says about $36. Hour and a half later, with a bunch of guys standing around doing nothing. I finally leave after paying over $70, and still have a low tire pressure light on in my car. Not impressed, would not recommend

I have taken my car here twice before and both times been given absolutely ridiculous estimates. This time, they quoted me $1900 to replace an air conditioning compressor. The part cost around $300 from my research, and it seems like it would be a three hour job. The paperwork they gave me said they charge $101 per hour for labor. Im struggling to see how that adds up to $1900. My other mechanic was able to do the job for $175 in labor. I wouldnt visit this location for anything more than tires. Theyre not just pricey; it seems like theres some dishonesty going on.

Have bought tires here for years. Have never had any trouble with Goodyear tires. Great specials and love the 6 month SAC plus rebates when I use my Goodyear credit card.

This place is extremely expensive and the car ran very very very rough after they changed the alternator. And thats after I spent thousands in a full expensive tune up to make it run smoother than it ever has. Theyve ruined my car and they dont know what they did to make that happen. Ive already contacted the BBB and filled a complaint.

Hit and miss with this place. Sometimes they do well....other times not so much. The staff seems very friendly. However I have seen them do the whole...you need a new air filter to a lot of people when they really didnt. Wish they would educate customers instead of offering parts that really didnt need to have.

Extremely lazy staff. I showed up about a half hour after they opened to get a tired patched up. When i showed up i was relieved to see that i wouldnt have to wait since no one else was there. When i walked in they told me they couldnt get to it till 10:30. When i showed up this morning NONE of their workers were actually working on anything, All of the shop spots were taped up and the guys inside standing around on their phones. Something that takes a very quick 20 minutes of the time they definitely had is ridiculous they refused to do it. Ill never recommend this place to anyone. IF youre reading this review go to east peoria tire MUCH more friendly and NOT A WASTE OF TIME!

Plazas Tires had them do our alignment. Them were sure if my Chevy Silverado truck would fit on the lift. Was about to complain. Please Tires should know it a trunk of my size would fit before selling me tires and taking my money. Not knowledgeable.

I made an appointment for an oil change only. Waited 30 minutes and my vehicle still hadnt been pulled in. Asked how much longer and was told 10 to 15 minutes before they pull it in. Why schedule an appointment if I have to wait 45 minutes.
