The woman who helped me was very nice and explained everything best she could... Im not happy that the trailer I rented did not have a way to lock so it could be simply unhooked off of my vehicle and put on someone elses vehicle very quickly... other than that they are a bit pricey... everything else was great...
This was our first time ever using a U-Haul and the experience could not have been any better! Wanda at this location was very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. I rented a 5x8 closed cargo trailer which was perfect for us to move our daughters dorm furniture out. I don’t know why we never used U-Haul before, damaging the inside of our vehicle to squeeze items in. Totally not worth doing that when U-Haul rates are so low! I paid only $20 to rent for one day (no mile limit) and paid an extra $8 insurance incase anything happens. Very affordable and extremely convenient when moving furniture. I will definitely continue to use U-Haul and highly recommend the Easton location and dealing with Wanda! I’m very pleased with the service and product. 😁👍🏼
Great experience with picking up the equipment. Lady inside the office is very fast and helpful. Deducting one star from equipment returning experience. The gentleman didn’t give me any instruction on what I need to do when I arrived and didn’t seem to care.
Juan is an excellent team member. Great customer service, gets the job done efficiently, properly, and quickly. He’s personable and kind-hearted and helped us with everything we needed for our hitch installation- he’ll be hooking up our trailer tomorrow and I look forward to it- overall great experience at this uhaul center. U-Haul has the worst customer service Ive ever experienced! I reserved a 20 one-way truck for my move a week in advance- they gave me a confirmation # and took my card # down for their file and said I was all set. Then 3 days before our move, they called me to tell me there are no one-way trucks available that day and the original person that booked my reservation shouldve saw that.... so my reservation was invalid and now I have to rent a truck to move like 35 miles away and return it to the original pick up location. So now my price is going to go up A LOT because they charge per mile and Im going to be wasting so much gas & I have to file up that big truck before I return it. I was on hold and transfer for 4 hours to not be satisfied or get any help. They keep you on hold for so long, so youre discouraged to complain and talk to someone. I wont be using U-Haul again.This mistake isnt my fault, its U-Hauls and they need to take responsibility for their mistake.
Customer Service & Communication Is Lost On Them. Scheduled a hitch installation two weeks in advance. Show up the day of the installation and they say they can’t install because they don’t have the part. I ask when can it be installed then? They say they will call me later in the day with a new date. Calm never happened. Called on subsequent days to ask and all the time I was told they will call later in the day or the next day. Never happened. I go over to check they say they don’t have a day it will happen whenever it shows up. Canceled the order had it done at another place where customers are treated as such.
I was in the store today, and there were a few nice young men that were there to serve customers. One gentleman in particular ( I wish I’d gotten his name) was very sweet, and answered my questions the best he could, and carries all my items to my car for me. During my time there, A customer came in and, (let me just preface this by saying, I’m not usually shocked by people’s behavior) from the time he walked in, I basically wanted to punch this man in the face. He was horrible, demanding, acted like he owned the place, and proceeded to talk down to the employees, and was so condescending and patronizing. I was mortified and angry. I wanted to say something, but I probably would have gotten into an unnecessary argument, and this horrible man was not worth it. I watched your employees deal with him, and I was so impressed!! I work in the customer service industry, and I deal with people like this almost every day. Had it been me, I would have had a hard time not telling him to...”blank off”! I have to commend your employees, for doing the exact opposite!! They were professional, and helpful, and never stopped smiling and trying to do what they could to help this a&@h@#*, even when he went behind the counter!! Great guys you have working at this store, not one of them ever lost his cool....I would have, if someone spoke to me that way. I will definitely do business in your store again, because of the gentleman who provide great customer service...even to the ones who don’t deserve it.
I wish I could say my experience with the establishment was a good one but it was anything but. I had scheduled for a hitch install weeks in advance with uhaul and was directed to this location.Afterwards I scheduled a trailer and storage unit in a different state where I’d be moving. I thought everything was set for my already stressful move. That was until, I was called at 4pm the day before (with my appointment being 10am the next day) that “I just shouldn’t come in because they didn’t have the hitch.” Not only was I not told this a full 24 hours in advance but uhaul had known about the shortage of parts for weeks and did not give me any notice or updates whatsoever.I was told I would be updated regarding this issue and never was by the staff. They do not answer the phone when you have questions and are extremely unorganized. Please save your money and the stress; do not waste your time with this business.
Still waiting to see why I was charged a gas fee when I returned the truck with more gas! They did not allow me to see when the truck was checked in. Ridiculous. Stay away

To whom it may concern,I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted with your employees behavior during our visit yesterday. My grandfather and i had rented a u haul yesterday from 4pm to 7pm.Your employee Juan not only neglected to wear a mask in your building where masks are required but when we asked him if he would be there at 7, he said yes.But upon our return two minutes to seven, he refused to let us in the building. We were waving and knocking on the door, ALONG with another pair of gentlemen who had showed up at 6:50 and lo and behold, the doors were already locked. Your employees refused to acknowledge us.Their negligence to tell time is not our fault. I am outraged at the way that they handled themselves and your buisness. It was extremely unprofessional and childish. And if any extra charges are added to our credit card because we had no choice but to use the mobile check in return, I will be disputing it. We were there on time, and i have time stamped proof. Your employees need to be more focused on their jobs and their customers, instead of how quickly they can leave their shift.When I called customer service, and spoke to the rudest woman on this earth ( you guys really know how to pick them) she got extremely cocky with me saying that last drop off is at 6:45. And that her employees dont close early.So maybe it would be adventageous for you to inform your employeea to let the customer that. Because when we asked Juan Cruz if he would be there at 7 to finalize our order, he said yes, absolutely.INSTEAD, HE FLUNG HIS HANDS AT US WHILE WE KNOCKED ON THE DOOR TO GET THEIR ATTENTION.And they dont close early? Maybe you should contact the other gentlemen that were there 10 minutes before closing and were locked out. It would also be adventageous to teach your staff how to tell time. Youve obviously failed on all parts.And Juan Cruz, I hope you teach your children to be respectful humans. And not to be rude and disrespectful like you.

Made an appointment online to have a hitch installed on my Palisade. There were several delays getting the part (COVID issue with manufacturing and shipping, not theirs) and a miscommunication about it being in stock when it wasn’t. Not a big deal. They were awesome about getting me in and installing the hitch the same day it came in. Juan was great—all the guys were. The customer service was tops.
Frank the manager is creepy. He harassed me for a month . I had to change storage facilities.

This UHall staff are a bunch of thives thay charge me a late fee 2 times and Jack up my rent from $69.99 to 165.95 I immediately started to look for a new starage facility and found one 10 times the size for the same price the 10 by 5 feet UHall was renting me

I seldom write one star reviews. Unfortunately after speaking with local management and corporate management I have been left with no choice.I recently rented a truck from U-Haul in NJ that they would not let me convert to a 1-way despite being the same size truck, evidently there are in-town trucks and one-way trucks, and they expected me to unload the truck.When I made my reservation for a 1-way truck I was offered one month free storage. This seemed like a good deal and made it easy to select U-Haul for my storage needs. However, because I would have been forced to unload the same size truck and reload I decided to do the round trip. Sadly U-Haul would no longer honor the 1 month free storage, despite the local Public Storage offering 1 Month for $1 because it was not a 1-way rental. After speaking with local management and corporate management everyone has refused to honor this offer despite the costs being the same for my in-town and one-way rental.Its difficult to understand these policies as a customer. 1-way rental vs. In-town = same price, one has free storage the other does not, 10 truck is a 10 truck, except when it is 1-way vs. in-town. But we are expected to understand U-Hauls vague policies and no customer consideration when you run afoul of them.After speaking with local management and corporate management, I wanted to share my experience with others so they better understood U-Hauls policies.

Dont go to this U-Haul if you can avoid it. Take a few minutes and go somewhere else.Rented a U-box and because the reservation was made incorrectly I had to call customer service over 10 times before someone finally gave me a solution... Making a new reservation.The U Box finally arrived, but apparently my name wasnt on it, so it couldnt be found. Once again on the phone with customer support a few times.I got the box a day late after having to stay in a hotel. Everything seemed good. I made a formal complaint and after days of talking to customer service and trying to get in touch with the manager, Edward, I finally got a $50 refund (for being late by a day) plus the hotel costs.Everything seemed to have worked out until one day I get a charge for a storage unit I never signed up for. And now Im on with customer support again. They tell me the manager, Edward, has to call to setup the refund... Well, he never called and after several e-mails and phone calls to try and get this resolved, he never got in touch.Completely useless, unprofessional and rude. The decent thing would be to contact a customer and solve the problem. Im not an unreasonable person and understand that mistakes can be made... But this has been the most inefficient interaction Ive had with any business... Ever.Do yourself a favor and go to a different U-Haul. Take the extra 10 minute drive. These guys not only made mistakes, but were impossible to contact when there was a problem. Im pretty sure they just dont care.
Brakes and headlights barely worked, was dangerous to drive, and they charged me $150 dollars in gas to drive from Easton to Bethlehem. Told me it was my fault I should checked the gas gauge before leaving.Ive rented trucks and vans from uhaul before, this was by far the worst truck Ive ever rented from them. The Head lights were so bad I had to drive with the high beams on and they hardly worked. The brakes were just as bad, the truck pulls to one side even under light braking. This truck shouldnt be on the road. I put $20 dollars in the tank before returning it. They billed my debt card $150 dollars for gas and bs fees.I wont be using Uhaul ever again or recommending them to anyone.

I was charged a late fee because an illiterate employee spelled my name wrong on an email?! TF? Was told the rent was due on the first of the month! Got a dunning call today. I will move my things to Stowaway in Stewartsville/PBurg where the staff is excellent and professional - even if youre wrong they at least give you a COURTESY CALL! Prices are better and the place is SPOTLESS!!! PS: FIX YOUR HORRIBLE POTHOLE-RIDDEN DRIVEWAY.
The Employees at this location Failed to provide a clean Pickup truck and Left several open alcohol containers behind the seat almost jeopardizing my freedom and lisence. Vehicle was Dirty and had alcohol spilt in the truck.

This place sucks! Their storage all leaks and floods. Your stuff gets moldy and wet they tell you that you should have bought the insurance! Its not supposed to get wet in the first place! We had a reservation at this place that we reserved a week ahead of time a 6x12 enclosed trailer. We showed up the day of pickup and they told us on the phone to pick it up in Easton. We showed up to the location and they told us that they didnt have it and we had to pick it up in Whitehall, why tell us that its reserved there. We drove 20 minutes to Easton from Bath and then 30 minutes to Whitehall. Thanks! We only had to be packed by noon anyway.
