Very large selection, generally good prices. I almost always find something fun to buy. Good employees there.

I arrived a half hour before they closed. Very nice selection of clothing and household and other items. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. I will return when I can spend more time

I was unfortunately not impressed with this store!I found the location online and was impressed with what I saw...so I drove an hour and a half thinking this was going to take me a while to browse through...well I was in and out within 30 minutes and thats including the wait in line!!I however was not there for clothing and was actually impressed with how much clothing they had...probably 85% of the store and its a huge store!I will say that I was extremely happy to see a smiling face without a mask on behind the counter...Thank you for allowing your staff a choice...because of this is why I gave a two stars

Good selection and wonderful finds, the prices range from a couple dollars to a couple hundred, but for some of the antique furniture it cant be beat. So if you are looking to find a few vintage items for your wardrobe or furnish an apartment on the cheap, give this place a look.

I usually like going to Hope Gospel but this time there were 2 shoppers with no masks on and especially disheartening was the cashier didnt have a mask on. I was going to step out of line and lay my stuff down and walk out. Then another cashier came to open up a register and she was wearing a mask. I didnt feel comfortable when the staff isnt REQUIRED to wear masks.

The store is great but the employees don’t wear masks. Said I felt uncomfortable and would wait for the cashier that was wearing a mask and the one not wearing a mask got mad at me. I did not hold anyone up as I would let the next person go but they also felt uncomfortable. Your company is not adhering to state mandates and apparently does not care about it’s customers. Thought this was a good organization till that.

Havent shopped here for a while and wanted to check it out. Wow, prices have really gone up on everything. I thought this was a second hand store. $40 for a pair of used sneakers. Unreal!

My pregnant wife who usually loves shopping at Hope bought a bottle warmer there in October. Unfortunately we didn’t test it right away, as we still have some time before baby’s arrival; and we trusted that they already tested it before selling. We tested it today and the pump on the unit was not working. Made a call to Hope to see if there was anything they could do, but it’s out of the window to get store credit. Be sure to check your electronics purchases as soon as you can!

Grossly overpriced. Used DVDs are $3.00. Most dressers I saw today are $120.00 each for dirty, wobbly, dated stuff. Jeans are $8.00 each for dated styles. If youre comparing the price to $120 jeans, its cheap, but used clothes in a store designed to help poor people seems like a rip off. Lots of crystal, dinner plates, plastic drinking bottles. Boutique prices. Some things are priced so high you can get new for less. I think the pricers havent shopped outside of the store for a while. Store is clean but expensive.

I normally really like this place. They have pretty good stuff, sometimes a little expensive. But today at least four staff members I saw didn’t have masks or anything. It made me really uncomfortable and I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Great place to shop so many treasures for everyone young and old. l stop as often as l can when l am in Eau Claire but stop in Menomonie location too. Great prices and they change out their inventory too which makes me want to shop more often. Very friendly staff and always clean and organized!!!!

They didnt ring up 2 of my big items that needed to be delivered and when delivery day came and I called they practically shrugged their shoulders and said they didnt have the items. So now Im out furniture and they just keep saying they cant do anything. Worst customer service ever!!!

Usually love this place. Today walking through I counted multiple people in the store (including staff) that were not wearing masks. When I wanted to check out, my cashier didnt have a mask on and it made me very uncofortable. A business should never create an awkward or uncomfortable situation for their customers. Was very dissappinted that this usually great store is readily contributing to a world-wide pandemic responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands. The employees seemed very unapologetic as well, as if I was doing something wrong by wanting to stay safe while shopping. Extremely disheartening.

Ive gotten $280 Z-coil shoes in my size for $35; which helped me immensely at my job standing on concrete floors all day. A brand new loveseat we could afford and looks great. Tons of toys and books and clothes for everyone in my family. We highly appreciate this place!

They always have great prices unlike some thrift store chains that rhyme with wood fill and wavers. They also regularly have quality mens clothing like Van Huesen and Eddie Bauer. The staff is helpful and nice.

Amazing what I can find at this store - like a barely-used recliner for $25 that I still like 2 months after buying it! The store is well-organized, clean and smells clean! For a second-hand store, it cant be beat.

Im giving them an in-between score normally it would be very high because I love shopping there and they have good products at halfway decent prices but today I had a question for them as Im looking for something in particular and live a ways away and didnt want to make the trip so I figured Id call 47 calls so far today and every time no one answers... They have lots of used and new merchandise. Prices arent so good, though. The biggest draw back is the piped-in Christian music they blast through the store. I loved Christian music until I heard what they play, over and over again (same songs if youre there more than an hour). If you do shop there, check your prices first, and BRING YOUR EAR PLUGS!

Nice people and employees, but IM HOPING, still Overpriced for a Bargain center. Even when I was One of the Two first woman that resided at the womens shelter, and worked at the bargain center, I felt that they price items higher than needed. Especially when people who are indigent or on the lower income bracket shop there. And instead of a 15$ voucher to help those poor to get clothing, it would be nice that it could be like an entire outfit and like a jacket along with a pair of shoes if Needed.Otherwise, The store is Exceptionally clean and the employees are Great and courteous. And the store Does have a Welcoming feeling.

I enjoy shopping at Hope Gospel Mission Bargain Center. You can find good used products for many areas of your home. I looked at the book section today to see if my favorite authors were available. I found a few! My shopping experience is always different depending on what is available but I always find something good in the looking!

I’ve been to a lot of thrift stores in my lifetime, and I mean a lot! This is the absolute nicest thrift store in the Midwest. They had a large variety of everything: housewares, home decor, books, clothes, shoes, etc; all at good prices. The merchandise was nicely displayed and the staff very friendly. I wish this store was in my hometown — I would go there all the time.

They are expensive for a thrift shop. However, they test everything very well. It it says it works it does.

I got 4 full outfits for $16.00 people asked me questions like.Where in the heck have you been shopping.? Wow what a nice outfit. Did you win the lotto. Lol

A ton of selection in just about every category possible. The clothes were clean and well displayed. A pan that I was interested in didnt have a price, when I took it to the cashier she said a price that I thought was a bit high, and when I offered a different price she said she could just not sell it to me at all. Kind of of a poor attitude. But who knows, she might just have had a bad day. Prices were fair and reasonable on most items, but not dirt cheap. A good store overall!

Neat finds at usually good prices! They give alot back to those in need at the womens and mens missions.

Racks of clothes are well-sorted and items are clean and in good shape. Good selection for men, women, and kids. If youre willing to spend a few minutes looking through the racks, you can usually find some good deals. Increasingly I check here first for all but dress clothes.

This is a great business. They have an amazing cause and they do their best to give you great prices on used items. I shop here all the time. Dont listen to these bad reviews. Those people are snubs, go shop at Wal Mart if youre going to complain about low prices. Ive shopped here for many years now and they have good prices, but obviously they are a small business trying to survive, while providing for the needy and giving back to our community. This is a wonderful place to shop and find some of the best bargains in town. Ive found some really great deals here. God bless these people.

We just moved to Eau Claire and need to furnish our new home on a very tight budget. The worker was very helpful and welcomed us warmly to the community.Most things were priced reasonably and the 50% off items were a great deal. She explained when different items went on sale different days of the week and told us where to get a 20% off coupon to use on a regular price item we couldnt afford at full price. She also informed us about the rewards program since we told here we would be buying a lot of items over the next few months. They put our names in the computer and each time we go in it tallies our purchases and after so much we get free stuff! Never heard of a thrift store doing this before. If you need something at a good price from a cheerful staff you definitely have a good hope of find it at Hope!

This place has everything! Sometimes the prices are hit or miss, especially on furniture. I would often rather buy new furniture than pay what they want depending on the item. However, they have a unique selection for household items and decor. I will go here before I buy new items from the store!

Have been here many times. Have found lots of good pieces of clothing or other things for myself and others. Was just here today; found myself a couple of nice shirts and found a pin for a Christmas gift.

Employees are friendly and super helpful. Lots of hidden treasures here. A little pricey for a second hand store but they do donate profits.

We downsized and donated our excess furnishings. They were good quality. Hope was happy to get them. We were happy they went to a good place.

Clean, pretty well-organized, and theyve got a big store, leading to a big selection. Because its all donated, youll find new things every time. Ive bought a couple of pairs of clothing from this store, and for cheap. If you look hard, youd be surprised at what you can find in your size that looks good.

I have shopped Hope for several years. I am so pleased to spend my money at a local business that truly puts back into the community. They help so many, and if you shop here...by way of your purchases, you help many as well. I have found many items over the years that have served our family well at great prices. I find that most prices are quite reasonable. Once in ahwile, I find an item that is a bit out of my price range, but that is no problem knowing that in 1-3 weeks that item will go 25-50% off. And if by chance the item has sold by then, I expect that it wasnt meant to be mine anyway. And, new items flow out to the sales floor daily so something just as great will come along shortly. They have a great rotating sale system. If you ask a sales associate to explain it, they are most helpful. Speaking of staff, we have always had a great experiences with the staff. They work to build a team that is willing to serve and assist! From manangement to cashier to donation acceptance; all staff is friendly and kind. I am proud to shop Hope Gospel. Check it out!!

One of the best second hand stores you can find within a 100 miles. Not only is there a massive great selection, you are supporting a great cause whenever you shop here.

Awesome place to shop on bargain items. Hope Gospel definitely has the best prices in town. Ive been to Goodwill and many pawn shops in EC, but Hope Gospel puts them all to shame.
