You know that gift store you wished existed in every funky little town you visited? Well, this is the place in Eau Claire. Everything from books, foods, clothing, stickers, games, artwork and more. Its just a really nice place to visit and browse, even if youre not interested in buying anything (though you will be tempted). Service is always super friendly as well. Many of my family members are proudly wearing Wisconsin t-shirts thanks to this place :)

The Volume One Local Store in Eau Claire is a really fun store. The smell of scented candles wafted over us when we walked in. They have a nice selection of books from or about the area, as well as local drinks, cheeses, treats, and knick knacks. It is across the street from the Oxbow hotel, and a stones throw from Ramones ice cream shop. Yum! 😋

I was at the shop tonight and had such amazing service that I wanted to show my thanks. The two guys that were working tonight were so warm and helpful - I really felt welcomed and valued. It was just before closing and they didnt make me feel rushed and even took time to show me other items that might work for a decor project Im working on. They were really fantastic and made my experience positive and memorable.

One of the best gift purchasing stores Ive visited. A huge selection of local food, art, stickers, mugs, shirts, and even things like backpacks and dishware. All from local creators, reflecting deep pride of place and community.My buddy who lives in Eau Claire insisted that we visit. They are open late too - 9pm!

I was in town for a short trip and I wanted to bring a little bit of Wisconsin home with me. This store was the perfect answer to this! Some many unique items, tasty treats and options.The curation and creation of these local items were so well thought out. I wish all the places I visited had a store like this!

Filled with great gifts, probably would have spent more money if I had a bigger piece of luggage. Also it had a great outdoor plant store attached to it. Overall a great atmosphere.

Just left the store and had to make sure to write something about her! I was helped out today by Jada or Jade, THE sweetest and best service i’ve had in awhile, she was working on the floor filling inventory and I had so many questions since i’m from Madison and this was my first time at your store and she never stop answering or looking for me even though she was trying to get stuff done. She helped me with sizes, running around (literally), all for me!! Such a great smile and attitude, i’ll be back when i’m in town again! Thank you guys!!

Very cute store! They had a wide selection of so many different things and they had really good sales when we were there. Lots of local Eau Claire things but something there for everyone! Would highly recommend going!

My only complaint is that this place isnt closer to me hahaha. Stumbled across this place with my girlfriend while we were visiting Eau Claire and we both found things there that interested us. Prices arent cheap, but neither is the quality. Cool place.

Honestly I dont find it that great or helpful theyre top places to go for fun rarely changes in a long time frame ( would like to see new things to try) and to a lot of places they dont like they seem very judgmental and almost rude to just because its not for one person doesnt mean it not for others and a lot of good businesses take a hit when one of their employees post a bad review( think they should stress that even though it not for them others may find that place enjoyable) giving it a one star only because cant give 0

Really relaxing vibe! They carry a wide variety of local crafts and artisanal products from local vendors. Art, photography, woodworking, apparel, and a good selection of locally sourced food just to name a few.

I took a wrong turn and ended up here! I absolutely love this store! I love what it stands for, the aesthetic, the products and the people!As a ceramic artist myself, I was very pleased at the prices. Quality, handmade, local goods are hard to beat, so, I’m happy to pay a little more to support artists and craftspeople who are trying to make a fair wage while using their gifts and talents!I’m venturing out on a similar path, opening a gallery and studio, and had a lot of questions. The shopkeeper was friendly, encouraging and helpful. Yay for local!!!

A really fun atmosphere! Store has that home country feel. They have everything from one fighters, to handmade household items from local artists, two books written from those within the area. Honey went there, they were having a 15% off sale. Sometimes they have sales as some items are a little pricey, but definitely unique!

Love this store. Small but well organized. They have locally written books, artists, music, jewelry, soaps, and more. Such a fun place to shop for gifts. They also have a small place they do events in like host readings, use as an art gallery or show Christmas movies around the holidays. Never gets old, I have gone there innumerable times over the years. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere make this a must stop.

Gorgeous, quaint lil shop! Lots of local made items- pottery, artisanal soaps, specialty cheeses in the shape of a cow, gorgeous pottery, clothing, wooden toys, etc. Most of it Wisconsin themed. Masks and hand sanitizer available, all workers were masked as well.

If you are looking for something made in the Eau Claire area this is the place to go. They had a good selection of a variety of things. A little something for everyone.

Not a very reliable source. Seem to discriminate against small businesses that may offer great things but dont choose to allocate their advertising dollars to the volume one publication. Check it all out for yourself.

The experience starts when you open the door, the sound and smells welcome you before the staff have a chance to say hello. The pride for Wisconsin becomes infectious as you peruse all the things you didnt know you need and want. Take your time, put your phones down, and take it all in. I cant wait to come back.

I attended the opening reception for a new exhibition of art by a local photographer. The display room allowed the art to be seen to best advantage. I enjoyed looking at the high-quality items for sale in the main part of the store, and bought several for myself and for my grandchildren.

Discovered Volume One when I was attending UWEC and still love it now. My favorite part is probably the listing of classes or events that are happening in the area. The Local Store is also amazing and I have bought stuff for myself and even as presents for friends and family from out of town. Have never been disappointed by a visit and all the stuff I have purchased has seemed to be good quality without being too expensive.
