Was super easy to set up appointment online, got text message reminder after I set up appointment and another the day of. Dropped off phone early was quoted a time to come and pick it up. Was ready when I arrived back at the store. Your employee was super helpful, and the whole process was easy.
Purchased a Duracell Ultra car battery about a year and a half ago. Was still under warranty when it started to corrode and leak. Drove back to Batteries Plus and they replaced it no questions asked. Awesome service and they stand behind their warranty! Highly recommend.
Brought my phone in a month ago and had the screen replaced. Ever since my phone constantly glitches. This morning I couldn’t open my phone at all as if the screen wouldn’t respond to my touch, so I take it out of the case and it dropped to the counter (literally 3 inches out of my hand to the counter) and the screen cracked. So I bring it in and explain what happened. He claimed he would be able to tell if it was frozen before the screen cracked and it may still be under warranty. But when I came to pick it up not only was it in worse condition then when I brought it in he claims he couldn’t tell if it froze before or not. I feel scammed and would strongly suggest you go somewhere that stands behind their work. If the phone worked properly I would’ve never taken it from the case to begin with.
Im on a road trip and my key fob started acting up, so I Googled the nearest Batteries+ . So glad I did! Jackson had the new battery in within a minute, and it cost under $8.
In all, since my phone isnt working properly anyways, I ordered the new parts and tools and doing it myself to see if that fixes the issue with the correct part. If not, I guess it is a new phone. Hopefully early next week I will have the parts. In short, I would like to change my review of Batteries Plus Bulbs to a negative 5 star review and I do not recommend the customer service at the Eau Claire store. I believe they are trying to avoid their service persons mistake of the breaking of the phone and then ordering and installing the incorrect part number for the model of phone. NOT A VERY HAPPY CAMPER!!!Update 3: 2/26....no communication from the store stating my new part came in so I emailed the store and didnt get a response. After waiting 3 hours for a response, I email corporate again and still waiting on response from them.Update 2...after a couple attempts to contact the Eau Claire store via email with no response, I emailed corporate customer service (2/21). On 2/22 the store replies to my email stating they will look into this and get back to me. After 9 hours, while doing research, I emailed them back and told them that they put the wrong part in my phone and it was not compatible per my communications with their parts supplier. On 2/23, I get another email stating the new part has been ordered and they will let me know when that comes in. Also on 2/23, I get an email from corporate customer service thanking me for taking the time to provide the valuable feedback on the store and the concern was logged at the corporate office and was forwarded to the franchise owner. Corporate also called Brian, the store manager.Update 1 (from 2/20)....the microphone doesnt work after having the charge port, battery and screen replaced. I can hear during calls but no one can hear me. Also, voice recorder nor Google Assistant cant hear me.ORIGINAL REVIEW: On a good note, I got my phone back. New battery, new screen and new charging port (just like a brand new phone) for $95.Thanks to Batteries Plus Bulbs (Eau Claire) for the great customer service. When there was a little mishap, they corrected it beyond what was expected.If you are in need of a battery replacement for your phone, this is the place to go; whether iPhone or Android.CUSTOMER SERVICES IS RATED #1 in my book!!
By far the only store I trust repairing my tech - far better than Geek Squad and TCTeks. They are experts and have saved me thousands on repairing my mobile devices instead of repairing. One time I swore I needed a new charging port. They simply cleaned it and saved me an unnecessary repair. I’d trust this team with anything - you can’t go wrong. And no - I have no relation to any of them, am not getting paid - just simply a customer elated to find a business that cares more about doing right by the customer than making a quick buck. I wish more businesses had customer service like here.
Service and knowledge of staff but not cheapest
The salesperson sold us the wrong bulbs. The ones he gave us would not fit. We went back and he gave us the correct bulbs but would not refund the difference in price. He just said he couldnt do it! If this is your company policy you may as well shut this place down as your store will not make it in Pasadena Texas. We dont put up with that type attitude here. There are to many stores here with customer service and fairness as a priority. You were close by and thought we would give you a try. It will be the last time.
I brought in keyfob to get battery replaced. The inept employee busted my keyfob and says that Ive got a slightly loose keyfob. Its two pieces and dont stay together because he busted the plastic that holds it together. Costs $350 for new one. Thanks for replacing the $6 battery. Sheesh. Eau Claire WI. Avoid this store at all cost5/10/21I met with the manager of batteries plus in Eau Claire. The reason I contacted him was because he came into the store I work at and complained to my manager. He didnt show an ounce of respect to my manager, me, or the fact that his business messed up my fob. I expressed how unprofessional he handled the situation and he responded that posting a review is unprofessional. Do not recommend ever going here for anyone for any reason. They didnt own up when my fob busted and the manager didnt own up when he mishandled the situation. A simple response on here would have fixed this but he tried to get me in trouble for the review. He responds to the review after he realizes he cant get me in trouble with my work. Truly sad.5/29/21I have talked with corporate and they have responded that this issue with manager will be handled internally at store. Ill be buying new fob out of pocket.

This place appeared to have a large inventory, but out of 7 different bulbs I brought there they were only able to send me off with 1. They were able to order 2 others and had them dropped shipped to me. The other 4 they could not even find for me. S.O.L I was told by a place that professes to be a light bulb supplier! They looked them up on the internet just like I could have and did. At least I was able to find them. I also witnessed a woman come into the store needing her garage door opener battery replaced at which they charged her over $11! Better be a good battery. Ill never go there again. Id say completely worthless and give no points except that they will take your recycle bulbs so they do have 1 valid function.
I stop in with a car battery I bought a year ago. It was losing its charge. The found me in the computer. Found I had a warranty. Replace the battery no hassle and no money out of my pocket. This is why I have been going to battery plus around Wisconsin for over 12 years. Great consistent customer service. No matter what location I go to. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. I got a battery replacement for an iphone, and not only did they do just that, but my charging cables no longer fall out of the port, and whatever debris was making my phone rattle when vibrating, is no longer there. These hombres are some real millennial cowboys.

I had a iphone 6 battery replacement done 6 months ago and the battery condition has declined very quickly. I was charged quite a large price for not a good battery. Would not recommend do it yourself or take it anywhere else.
Had an iPhone battery replaced here, apparently when you make an appointment online the time is only an intake time and not an actual appointment to have the phone fixed. Nowhere on the website or confirmation does it say this, minor inconvenience but could still be overlooked. When I got my confirmation email there was a $10 off coupon for any service when you booked your appointment online, score! Super excited about that because I wanted to get the battery replaced somewhere else that was cheaper but they didnt have availability right away. Brought my coupon in when we dropped off the phone, the girl said to bring it back when we picked up the phone. So I did that only to have them tell me they couldnt honor it. What? Your clerk verbally committed to taking it by telling me to bring it back later! So I looked at her and said you told me to bring it in when I paid, knowing she knew that I was only paying for the battery replacement. She was just like so what. The guy helping me didnt even apologize for her mistake and they were completely awful about how they handled it. No remorse or empathy and didnt even say anything more to me just let me walk out after giving them my money. I kept my cool the entire time was just annoyed with the complete lack of customer service. Wont be back ever but I honestly dont think that care!
Nice little shop. I bought my power wheelchair batteries there. These type of deep gel type are NOT inexpensive anywhere. But I did receive a fair price. Small retail space though and retail prices were a bit high. But I would support local before any SUPER CENTER always.
I ordered the battery on May 31, 2020, the last day to get the rebate. I was sent an email it was ready to pick up on June 1, the battery was not there. I was told they would call me when battery was ready to pick up, never happened! I called on June 12, 2020, and Batteries Plus in Eau Claire, WI, told me it was ready to pick up. Because it was picked up on June 12 the reciept shows that as the purchase date, which is after the rebate closing date for motorcycle batteries, which was May 31, 2020. I bought this battery to get the rebate.
The customer service used to be great. Even though prices were higher, I went there because of their customer service. There used to be a young man with glasses who always provided exceptional job with replacing the battery in my watch. However the last few times I’ve been there, service was barely adequate. The last time, there were three people (including the manager I think), and they weren’t friendly. The girl changed my battery but didn’t fix the time or date on my phone. I don’t think I’ll be a returning customer.
The battery that I ordered on line was the right length and width but it was too tall for my skid steer so what you had given me for batteries for my skid steer was not correct. I was lucky that they had a battery in stock that was right so that I could change it out. It was not as good as the one I wanted but it was still a good battery.
These guys are the best! I assumed I needed the charging port on my iPhone 6 replaced but it turned out the port was simply dirty. They cleaned it *at no charge*!! You can trust these guys.I previously had the battery in the same phone replaced and they did it quickly and cheaply.

I have gone there several times and each time their customer service has been fantastic. Their prices are very fair. They try very hard to be professional and accommodate each patient. I took an iphone in for a battery change and am pleased with the result.Dont pass them by based on their current rating.
Had a defective screen put in by Battery Plus but their new store manager Brian did take care of the issue and had it fixed for free. He is professional and pleasant as one would expect of a store manager. I wish him best of luck with his new position. :)
Went in on july 15 this last monday looking for a replacement battery for my C-leg that was suggested by my units maker. They didnt have it in stock so placed for a home delivery. Was told to expect between wed and Thursdays of this week. I got today. Found the package sitting on my porch. Well done everyone.
I came to Batteries Plus with an odd car problem. I explained the situation, and the guy helping me was so friendly and didnt look at me like I was crazy. I think his name was Brian...I am super bad with names! But he has reddish hair and a beard and was very kind. He noticed an old GPS on my car that was partially connected and likely causing a short. He also explained why there were extra stickers and barcodes on my door and that my car was likely a lease or rental previously. He tested my battery and it read bad. He removed the GPS and the battery read good. He said he was glad he did the extra tests before selling me a battery. He explained the type of battery I had and explained that it was of good quality and was not in need of replacing at the time. I was so confused by my car anyway and he was honest and helpful. The problem has appeared to stop, but I was told to stop back in if it was an issue anymore and he would test my battery again. Excellent service. I will definitely be going back if anything battery related comes up again.
Bought a blue top x2 battery for my brand new kia that Brian the manager recommended for the reliability about 6 months ago, there were many times I left my headlights on overnight and was very surprised that the car started every time with no issue. Most other batteries would struggle or not start at all, he was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Ive had bad experiences here in the past with rude employees. Today I reluctantly went there because I needed a new battery in my G Shock. It was a bit of a challenge but Brian stuck with it and got the job done properly. During the whole process he was very professional and friendly. His expertise was greatly appreciated.
I absolutely demolished my phone screen over the weekend and made an appointment to get it fixed. They fixed it in about an hour and its good as new!
After 6 months, the extended life battery I got for my hdvideo camera would no longer even turn on plugged in... Thought maybe it was something I did... Bought another, gave it full power cycles, charged it completely before using, didnt use it while it was plugged in... Same result..... Not happy:(
I went to Batteries Plus to get my screen repaired on my iPhone. Their service was quick, but when I started to use my newly repaired phone, things didnt work. The speaker to hear calls didnt work, the front camera didnt work and the home button was put on crooked. I called them the same day (Sunday) I picked up my phone to see what could be done with my issues. They said that they would order the parts needed to fix my phone and that I could come back on Tuesday. On Tuesday, I called and was told that the part was not ordered but someone could look at the phone and possibly fix it without the parts. When I arrived, no one communicated that I would be coming in or that they would need to look at my phone. The employee, that helped me said that I would just have to live with the home button issue and was just plain rude in his dealings with me. I actually told him that he has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ended up leaving with no resolution. I did come back a couple of days later to have my phone looked at only to find out that a part was needed. They said they would order it and call me by the following Thursday (a week later). I called them on Friday since no one called. My part was in so I dropped my phone off to be fixed. The customer service was well below par and my phone still isnt right. The battery drains 2x faster than it did before and the home button still isnt the same. Either way, I would not recommend that anyone have Batteries Plus fix your phone.

Ordered online and paid with CC. Got to the store and found out I had purchased the wrong battery. The clerk helped me find the correct battery ($100 cheaper), gave me the online discount on the new purchase and credited my card for the difference. He then gave me a couple tips for my fantasy football team. All in the 15 minutes before he closed the store for the night. Never made me feel like I was a problem at all. Awesome Service!
My father took some batteries in for my robo vacuum cleaner to be tested. When he went back to get them. They couldnt find them and one of the employees said they would look around to see if they were misplaced. Dad went back thats when he found out that they throw them out. He said hes asked them what they were going to do about it. They gave him a number to call about it. He called that number explained his problem and all the girl kept saying was, do you want to talk to the manager. He said he already did. She didnt seem to care about it. So Dad told her to tell her boss that he just lost about $3000 plus a year contract. She just didnt care. Dad and I are pissed because we dont know if the the problem was the batteries or the machines. Also dont have battery information to order new ones. From the service hes had received in the last couple of years he done with them. He said he wouldnt send any one there. Besides customer service sucks employers just dont care if customers are happy with service or not

I had the worst experience Ive ever had at this store. These people broke my watch and are extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend coming here to anyone! Story below.I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs after calling and talking with someone that told me they replaced watch batteries. So I took in two watches the following day to get serviced. The associate couldnt figure out how to get one watch back off so I told her I would take it to a jeweler. The next watch was easier to open, and the associate began to try and pry my battery out of the watch. I looked on in horror as the entire movement of the watch was dislodged and popped up from the case. The associate ignored this and removed the old battery. She then put in a new battery, looked at the face of the watch and told me Oh, well that didnt work. It must be something else. So she pulled out the new battery and put the old one back in. She handed me both watches and I exited the store. Once I actually got into my car I looked at the face of my watch in disbelief. Every hand on the face had be ripped off. I walked back into the store up to the associate who had just been serving me. I told her she had just broken my watch. To my disbelief she snapped back at me that she hadnt touched my watch! I couldnt believe it. At this point another associate told me that they would send it in to get it fixed. I gave them my contact information and as I handed the information and watch back to the woman she asked me how much my watch was worth. I told her $150-$200. She responded You shouldnt have let me touch that!. I just couldnt believe it. If you didnt feel comfortable working on it you couldve just told me. This is absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. I hope that I can get this watch back fixed, but I have my doubts. Ill update this review with more information as the situation progresses.*UPDATE* 08/15/17After 4 months of calling and asking when my watch would be repaired I finally got my watch back. During the 4 months they lost my contact information and werent able to figure out how to contact me. Extremely unprofessional. When I finally called to follow up, they told me my watch was ready to pickup. I went in, picked up the watch and once again got into my car and noticed something strange. This watch hadnt ever been worn before. The band was brand new and a different material than mine had been. They had simply taken the limited edition case back off of the broken watch and put it on a new one. I was frustrated by this because its not limited edition anymore, but I knew I wouldnt be able to do anything even if I brought it up to them. So even though I got a new watch out of the whole situation they still lied and told me they fixed it. I just am so disgusted with this place and the customer service. I wont ever return to this shop or recommend it to anyone. If I need a watch battery replaced I found that Laskers can do it for basically the same price with a much higher level of professionalism. Batteries Plus Bulbs has hands down given me the worst customer experience Ive ever had.Also: The owner never reached out like they stated below. What a joke.

If only I could give zero stars.... I took my iPhone in for a screen replacement, was working when I picked it up, but once the battery died I could no longer charge it. I dropped the phone off on Saturday and was told they would check it out Monday and get back to me. No call Monday. I called on Tuesday to inquire. The person who answered the phone said that he had no idea and that his manager would call me. No call Wednesday so I call back. I have NEVER been treated so poorly via phone. I was told yet again that someone would call me tomorrow. When I questioned why no one was helping me he was extremely rude. I still dont have my phone and will be going to pick up tomorrow and take elsewhere. I will cut my losses on the 120 I spent to have my phone broken.

My Phone would not hold a charge and was told the only place to take it was Batteries Plus in Eau Claire, WI. So to EC I go a 20 mile trip that I do not like to take being 77 years old and not in a hurry like it seems most are. Batteries Plus checked my phone and yes sir a new battery is needed. And $42.19 later I am on my way home. And then I find out this battery is not holding a charge. Called BP and bring it back down. Back to Eau Claire I go. Tech looks at it and get a new battery out of a pack and installs it, wait wait....oops this isnt working either! Ahhhh you need a new phone.......Well what about my $42??? sorry.... It seems to me that I should not have been set home the first time with a non charging phone. I know, I know very little about the high tech stuff and my being77 y/o could be a cause for that but I so know business and this was a shady, and very upsetting two visits to BATTERY PLUS IN EAU CLAIRE WISCONSIN ON HAMILTON AVE. ps...I gave them a 1 star rating only because you have to give at least one or you cannot post. In reality a big 0 is deserved. Just called and talked to BP and they will refund my$42. So I would delete this above if I would have known this prior to calling one more time and say a few words. Just wish all this would have been told me there before I drive home and am fuming at the gills!

HOW RUDE!! Employees here dont know the meaning of customer service. Matt was the name of the employee who rolled his eyes when he had to sell me something. He was VERY RUDE SHORT AND SNOTTY and the mgr (read headed man)was standing right next to him! Matt wouldnt say hello and then handed me my receipt and never said anything, not even a thank you!! Wont be back and from reading reviews, 90% had the same interaction as I. Two other employees were also standing there with theyre arms crossed looking disgruntle as well.
Worst customer service I have ever received. The employee waiting on me was not only incredibly rude to me but he was also incredibly rude to his coworker. From the moment I walked in the door he was simultaneously condescending, dismissive, and down right insulting. He spent the entire encounter looking for a reason to not have to do the most basic duties of a customer service position. Bravo, batteries plus, that level of lazy takes real talent!

I took two watches in for new batteries. Both were particularly difficult projects, but the man who waited on me patiently worked on them for almost a half hour, during which he never got frustrated. The service was friendly and free, and the price of the batteries was low. Id refer anyone to that store.
Very poor customer service!!!! I called to have them order a screen for my phone which they stated they were able to get it in. So I made a trip to Eau Claire to drop off my phone. They promised it would be repaired by Thursday at noon so I called at 10:00am and they stated the part just came in by truck and it would be ready between 12-2. So I stopped in at 2:00 they had not even attempted to fix the phone. The attendant was very lazy and then proceeds to tell me after all of this that they cant get the part for my phone. This was after one attendant assured me he ordered it and that the truck brought it in that day and two trips to Eau Claire....very disorganized, lazy, and horrible company to work with as they all have a different story.

Bought a battery from here and with in a week it it died and said bad battery, they took it back and replaced it with another....week later battery died, said bad battery. They replaced that one also but said and Ill quote we wont replace the next one so I recommend not buying anything from here cause they wont back their product totally! Very rude and poor quality!!
I went into the store at 3:30 wanting a screen crack repair for my iPhone 7 plus. They told me it would be done within 30-45 minutes. 1 and a half hours later I received a call from the store that they messed up my iphone. Apparently they broke my effing home button and no matter what happens now my current phone will never be able to have touch ID and use other home button features. They said they would either repair my broken screen for free or I can buy another pre owned iphone 7 plus for $600 which is there discounted price. This really pissed me off because I trusted that they knew what they were doing when I handed them my phone but I guess not since the mess up is the only thing that cannot be repaired. I literally have to get another IPhone if I want to use some features again like touch ID etc. I just wanted my effing phone back because the little trust that I had in this store is gone so I told them to repair my screen. During the call they said they would finish the repairs in 45 minutes and call me. Its been 4 hours and I still have not received any calls from them. I am becoming extremely frustrated because I just wanted a simple screen repair yet this is now a way bigger deal. My word of advice, if you have any problems with your iphone, just take it in to the apple store or a place that actually knows what theyre doing, the price isnt too far off from each other. I solely blame myself for thinking this store actually knew what they were doing and will definitely just go to an apple store next time.

Paid $70 for a battery for our traveling battery pack that died in less than 4 months and when taking it back under the one year warranty they proceeded to tell us we used it incorrectly and that it would be prorated. They blamed us for this... not sure how its our fault for a battery that wont hold a charge. We used the same battery pack for years with no issue and the last battery we replaced in it lasted 2-3 years.THENHad an iphone screen replaced - was told there was a 6 month warranty on the replacement. The screen popped out a couple of time and I pushed it back - then a month later the screen cracked at the top where it had been popping out. I called this Eau Claire store as I was in CA and they told me to bring it in and they would replace it. I just called today to see when the tech would be in and described the problem again and was told by the Tech and the Manager that they would not cover the screen as it was physical damage that I did to it and that I should have brought the phone to a batteries plus location when it popped out so they could put it back in. The warranty did not cover the damage because I pushed the screen back in.I used to go there for all my battery needs (watches, electronics etc) and now I will never frequent the business again. They not only did not explain the warranty when I had the phone repaired but they changed their story on the coverage.
Extraordinarily salty in regard to my experience with Batteries Plus Bulbs in Eau Claire. Made an appointment online for 5:00 for a phone screen repair. Was told over the phone that they could fix it, guaranteed, in an hour. Showed up at 5:00. Was told that my appointment was great but they cant guarantee anything. I asked if I could leave my phone there, and the boy at the front said that he couldnt get it done today.Asked him why, when they guaranteed an hour service. Asked if there was anyone ahead of me. There wasnt. Two employees were just sitting there doing homework. He kept making snide comments saying that he couldnt get it done today, even though there were no other projects, it was supposed to take only an hour, and there were still three hours until they closed.I finally told him Id leave my phone there, and he should just fix it regardless of how long it takes. He said ok. I asked him how I would know when it would be done, and he told me he would call me. He would call my broken phone.I sure hope that this isnt true for all of their employees, but this man was disrespectful, rude, unhelpful, condescending, and absolutely unwilling to accommodate.tl;dr Brought my phone to my scheduled appointment and was told they couldnt fix it after promising they could. Would highly recommend TC-Teks down the road. They took me in after being denied by Batteries+.
Terrible customer service. The worst Ive experienced at any business in Eau Claire.
Took my watch there (which was a gift from my wife) and asked if they could change that battery because the jewelry store I normally go to cant do it and they said Batteries Plus did that. B.P. said sure if we have the right size tool to get the back off. They did, and in the process of switching out the battery the guy doing it somehow knocked everything out of place and all the hands were floating in there. He said to take it get fixed and send them the bill. Didnt take my info or anything. I took it to Lasker Jewlers and the watchmaker there said that happens a lot (at least once or twice a month) with them. Also that they couldnt fix it. The whole inside would have to be replaced. He recommended taking it back and telling them to get it fixed or replaced. Of course the manager wasnt there. So I left the watch, my name and phone number. Was told the manager would call me the next day. Didnt hear anything so I called the day after that and was told they have a place they send watches to to get them fixed in MN. That was 3 months ago and I havent heard a thing yet. Wasnt a particularly cheap watch either (Armani Exchange) so its not like we can just easily to pick up another one.
Doesnt do anything with HTC brand phones because its too tough of a job! lmao but online it says they do!
Most horrible place ever these guys do not know what theyre doing, took watch in to get a new battery put in the guy opened my watch with a screwdriver and gouged the copper wire spindle in my watch that runs everything not to mention it is a $800 Bulova watch that is very special to me, took down the street to Laskers they identified the problem then I put two and two together and went back to confront Batteries Plus they told me they would get ahold of me right away still havent heard a word two months later. Nobody should ever be treated this way do not go here for batteries there are far better places in Eau Claire. Completely horrible management and even worse employees!!!!
Waited 20 minutes on hold for curbside pickup while 6 other customers were helped. I never did get curbside pickup, I ended up going into the store to get. Very disappointing experience.
