Probably the ONLY place Ill go for older games (and new games). Staff is very friendly and SUPER helpful. If you need something done or are looking for something they will do the best that they can to help you in any way possible. Also they have not only games but they have merchandise and posters too. I highly recommend them!

I bought a older Xbox one and 2 games there was a issue but they went above and beyond to make it right. I still bought it after working out a deal. They also took a look at my switch and found out it wasnt right power cord. Great place! And staff was top notch ty Tyler!

Its that mom and pop video game/plush store that existed before Gamestop nuked the scene. Worth a stop for the unique items and cool plushes. Fun staff and customers abound everytime Im in.

By far the best gamestore in Eau Claire. Way better than Eau Claire Games and Arcade. Good prices, great selection and very nice staff. The guy working gave my friend and I a $5 off card towards our next purchase. Go here if you buy retro or games in general.

Since lockdown Ive been looking at ways to keep my mind occupied. Im not a gamer but I did grow up playing GameCube.Originally I came in looking for a GameCube controller. They had a great third-party controller at half the price of the going rate of a Nintendo controllerAlso, figuring Id have no luck, I asked if they had a copy of LOZ Wind Waker. Ive never felt luckier, they actually did. This made my... year.With GameCube stuff being so collectible, this game is quite hard to come across in good condition, and I have to say the price was great all things considered. Thanks guys, you helped bring back some fond memories. I already beat it inside of a week. The first time I ever played all the way through it took me the better part of a year. Ill be back!

Gaming Generations is a fantastic place to shop. They carry things that I cant find anywhere else and the company of the employees and other customers is great. AJ always greets me with a smile and a question of how Im doing or if Im looking for anything specific. Hes very friendly and knowledgeable and has brought so much potential to the store.

I bought Zelda for nes and it didnt work. I traded in mega man x and a retro 2 console and they only gave me 25 dollars for it. Unfortunately if you are in to old school gaming there arent many other options.

Gaming Generations has great stuff and competitive prices and theyre willing to look into getting their hands on something youre looking for if they dont have it right there in store for you. They also do repairs on broken equipment and take trade-ins for cash or in store credit.The store manager, AJ, really knows his stuff and is more than happy to help. You walk in the door and hes immediately greeting you, asking how youre doing, and if you need help finding anything. Exactly what you would expect from customer service.

We were told our PS4 had to be sent in for 2-3 weeks and the guys here fixed it in 10 minutes. Saved us time and money!!!! Great service and great service!

Best video game store in town, hands down! The staff are gaming experts and can answer any questions you may have about every system from Atari to PS4 and their respective games. Very fair on trades and great prices on used games.

Gaming Generations of Eau Claire has a fine, upstanding staff. The store’s manager, Tyler, is very accommodating, and the store’s associates, Adraic and Bryce, are both knowledgeable and courteous. Make sure to visit regularly because you never know when a diamond may make its way through the door.

This store is great for if you or your children enjoy video games because the staff is very resourceful. The stock in the store is surprisingly big considering the size of the store itself but you could definitely spend a while looking around.

Very personable staff that dont push their products on you, and the prices are nearly unbeatable. One thing that really hooked me into GG is their organization. Every game is organized in alphabetical order with the covers facing outward so customers can see what exactly they have in stock. I love this place. I take my girlfriend and daughter here every once and a while just to look around and visit with the manager.

The guy working was super nice, I bought a ps2 recently and he threw in a memory card for free since it was a hard choice for me to make. Overall great game selection, and good prices. My favorite game store in Eau Claire by far.

Im sure they have more than one employee, but the same guy is working every time I come in. He is always very friendly and knowledgeable. They dont always have what I am looking for, but they are very reasonable about trade-ins, and they have a pretty decent selection of older systems/games. Youll definitely get more for your used games than you will at GameStop or some other corporate store. I will definitely come back and recommend this place.

Loved this store since it opened on Water St. Was a bit worried when the original manager left, but AJ is a dang godsend. Dude is friendly and knowledgeable. Hes quick to step up and hunt down a copy of whatever youre looking for. The rest of the staff seem just as kind and capable. Im almost never in the store for less than a half hour because Im too busy enjoying the c ok many and atmosphere.

I went to the store because sony told me that my ps3 would of cost 100 dollars to repair and it would of taken about 4 weeks, plus an extra week or two because it was around the holidays. Gaming Generations said they would fix my ps3 (blu-ray disc read was malfunctioning) for 80 dollars and it would only take 4-5 days. I recieved the ps3 back in about 4 days, but sadly the price had been moved up twenty dollars, totaling in at 100 dollars. The ps3 worked fine for about an hour, then it would no longer read blu-rays or cds. I took it back to the store, and they fixed it up again in 5 days at no charge. My ps3 now works fine, and despite the fact i had to bring it back almost instantly, they still did it much faster than sony could of. I recommend this place if you are looking for a local repair, and you dont want to send it in and wait weeks at a time. They told me that if my machine breaks again within 30 days they will fix it for free, and if it breaks after that (and its the same problem that i got fixed) they will do it again for half price for life.
