Have had consistently great experiences with this uhaul branch since Andrew took it over. His team and he himself go out of their way to help out. Even lent me a ball and hitch when I brought the wrong size ball for a motorcycle trailer rental one time. Great service overall!

They called me the day before moving to tell me they don’t have enough covers, even though I reserved my pods SIX MONTHS AGO. Waited on hold for 20+ minutes, and the rep basically said I’m just out of luck. Her excuse was “there’s no way we can plan for a shortage of tops” like they didn’t know there would be a lot of moving this week in a COLLEGE TOWN. Now I’m going to have my stuff on the street overnight in a box that can be literally torn into, but I don’t have another choice because I’ve been planning around this for SIX MONTHS. just ridiculous.Edit: apparently I was dealing with the regional office that whole time. The gal from this location drove all the way to Milwaukee to make sure I was taken care of. I literally couldn’t have asked for better service.

Didnt think I would feel inclined to leave a review for a Uhaul but Andrew was just on a whole other level of customer service. I wish I could always be as friendly as him! I had to sit and wait for a hitch to be installed so I witnessed him with several customers and also on the phone. I was VERY impressed with how he treated them and myself. He definitely goes above and beyond, Uhaul is lucky to have him. Fritz on his team was also very friendly and helpful!

They messed up and told me they would refund my transaction and charge me a lower rate since they charged me for fuel on it after toping off. I just checked my bank account and BOTH transactions have been posted with no refund aswell as another 20 charge. Review will be changed once this gets taken care of theyve taken over 100 of my money Im just asking for a refund on the wrong transaction.

Moving day was a train wreck, the uhaul system went down, the movers through uhaul didn’t show(north woods camping supply(see review)) but Andrew(store manager) got on the phone and said he’d be to storage in about 5 mins. He showed up and made it right, we had problems getting into storage one day and called him again and he was knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Andrew!!!

Andrew and his team at Eau Claire U-Haul are fantastic to work with. I had installed a plug and play wire harness that turned out to be defective from the factory, and Andrew was able to diagnose it, replace it with a fully functioning set up, and get me on the road within an hour or so of work. Huge help, great service, couldnt recommend them more.

Easy to walk up and look at the various trucks and moving equipment. The inside is clean, spacious and the dudes at the front desk are super helpful.

Reserved a trailer 1 month in advance. They screwed up my reservation and overbooked so I was left without a trailer and scrambling to make other arrangements.

I have used this location several times and Ive always been happy with the outcome, and my experience yesterday was better than ever. The wait time was completely reasonable even though they were very busy, the trailer I rented was absolutely solid (I was only hauling a giant sectional couch but still), and the employees were great. I was particularly happy by the service I received from Faith. She was very knowledgeable about the equipment, she had advised me on the phone the day before as to the hitch size I would need and then when I went there she ran through everything like a pro. Go see Faith if you need anything! Made my experience top notch, thank you! :)

U-Haul rentals, moving supplies and self storage facility

Just went in to get moving supplies and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing customer service! Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Its hard to find that level of care most places!

Theyll tell you they have a truck ready for you at a specific location. Then on moving day theyll try and send you to a location 3 hours away from the original.

I called and they said they had 20 ft trucks. When we got there they only had 10 ft. There was no dolly on the truck and they failed to tell me that dollies dont come with 10 ft truck. I called to complain and they let us come get one at no charge which was nice. We had already struggled through 1 load. We ended up driving 3 times as far and taking 2 times as long as the move should have taken. We are not going to get the truck back on time because of the problems so I expect they will want us to pay for another day.I have had better experiences in the past but this time I am not happy.

Need a moving truck? Check. Need White glove service when you walk in the door? Not their specialty. Stood in front of employees with the keys to return a truck asking if I could just give them to them... Ignored. Waited a few more minutes for them to tell me I didnt have to come in and I could have dropped the keys in the box outside. A simple hi when I walked in a little attention to detail would help.

This crew is by far, the most knowledgeable group of people and they will help you. They know the rules, they make your pick up and drop off easy, and as convenient as possible. They have to go through the lengthy UHaul system for every transaction so be patient. Be helpful. Be kind. As I said, they know the rules - regardless if you think it should be a different way - follow the rules. Ive had 3 recent experiences with these folks and they deserve a raise. They have helped me out when I needed it and the equipment is in great shape. If there is an issue - Call Them and dont make decisions without them. Great place.

I am now, according to U-Haul customer service, being assessed $538. Having difficulty reaching the general manager, Caleb Townsend, to attempt to resolve. Story: rented a 10-foot truck for $19.95 plus per-mile charges to help my son move into his college apartment. I returned the truck four hours later, made proper online check in, then inadvertently locked the key in the truck where I left it at U-Haul.

Excellent staff and employees at this location. Very knowledgeable, very friendly and quick to service you. The parking area is tight but given the amount of customers they seem to have, its necessary to have that many rental vehicles ready to go.

Long story short, I was in a predicament and called to rent and reserve a car trailer. When I got there, the trailer I reserved hasnt been returned but the gentleman wish i could remember his name that was helping me did an awesome job at making everything right. He went way out if his way and ended staying after hours even to male sure I was taken care of.

I come to this location often for packing supplies and boxes, Caleb is always willing to help and even goes out of his way to help us find what were looking for.

Excellent staff with newer equipment than most locations. The boxes are much bigger than the big box stores and have propane for your grill. Not much parking when they have a lot of trucks but easy to find.

Great experience working with Andrew. He was friendly and answered all my questions.

Had a problem with my trailer lights. They replaced the defective module quickly. When I discovered that I still had another problem, they worked quickly, in the rain, to get me going again. Amazingly great service!

Got dropped off to get a truck and found out they didnt have what I needed, but they were extremely helpful in finding one nearby on a Sunday. Had to stick around for my ride to return and hour and a half later, and they were happy to accomadate me with a chair and a water. Didnt expect any of that and I am extremely greatful for their kindness.

I used this company in the past and I had no issues so I decided to use them again. To get things done quicker I went online got a quote and scheduled everything. Once I arrived at the pick up location in Mondovi the rep Mike got me the paperwork and charge me $25 over the quoted amount and I was given a bigger truck than what I wanted. Mike was polite enough and send me on my way, inside the truck though, there were a bunch of blankets and a dirty towel left behind. Once I arrived at the drop off location there was a brand new employee who entered the wrong fuel level and noted the blankets in the back. I stopped and put fuel right before but it wasnt even enough, I was charged 4 dollars per gallon for an extra 30$ extra even though the gas accross the street was over a dollar cheaper. I didnt have the money then so I had them send the bill over the mail.Long story short I wish there was more transparency with this company and their pricing. I didnt recognize any of the employees that were ever so helpful a few years back giving me options and tips. I would NOT be using or recommending uhaul from this point on.

Nightmare w/ a smile: Local people friendly but overall promised what could not be delivered. Left a handicapped woman who had 3 people who had come a long distance to help without options. Would give a negative rating if possible. USE A DIFFERENT CARRIER!

Run from these guys, The biggest bunch of bottom feeders I have ever seen. 4 hours to install hitch for my wife. left her stuck in Eau Claire would not pick up the phone. Major losers.

Ez to get what you need. Employees need to improve their comunication customer service. When setting up a pick up and having over 24 hours they should have equipment ready but did not when I arrived. Over all I would still go to this location.
