The very professional mannered “manager” spoke to me in a very condescending way about my antique hutch and not being able to open the door. I explain to her how the latch works. She said we can’t take something that doesn’t open. (rudely) I again explained the procedures for opening the door and she then started talking about how poor shape it was. That they don’t take things in such bad shape and asked if I sent a picture first. I said no that in fact I called 20 mins prior and spoke with staff first. She’s very nice but oh well I am sorry for that but we can’t take this it’s just not sellable. What ever happened to bringing in antiques to sell at a low cost for people to snag up and refurbish instead of having to do as I just had to and throw it away because I have no other options??!! Prices are starting to become way too high throughout the store I could do better buying things off of eBay. No longer worth going to. So sad.

Love Turnstyle! I always find a treasure here. Such great brands at great prices. What a great place to supplement my wardrobe.

Found a wide selection of clothing and styles at a better-than-thriftshop price. Plan to stay a couple of hours to choose, try and buy. Staff are always busy stocking the racks but are generally accomodating but leave you alone enough to have a comfortable shopping experience. I signed up to get alerts on their big sales. I went during their 75%off red tag semi-annual clearance event.

I have been there numerous times over the past six weeks trying to consign my clothes. The woman with the gray short bob that works in the back is absolutely the nastiest most unprofessional woman I have ever come across. I would definitely not recommend taking your clothes there!The first time I showed up I had already called in advance to prepare for my arrival. And they told me they were done consigning at 6 o’clock but the recording says seven. So I had to drag all my clothes back out. The second time I showed up the girl tells me they can only look at 10 items because they are understaffed. The third time I showed up the woman with the gray short Bob said they couldn’t take anything because I had too many items and they were for fall. Again it’s a way in which you present yourself. She could not Have been a more nasty unpleasant unprofessional human being!Totally low class operation!

Call before hauling your items in to consign and even then you might be turned away because they are ‘at capacity’. Or you could always wait undetermined amount of time to see if the employees with underwhelming customer service skills have time to get to you. I guess I’ll take the time to sell my items online and actually get a decent price for them, this wasn’t worth my effort.

The manager at this store is very rude. I have always brought my items in with several items on one hanger. The website specifies items need to be on hangers. It does NOT say ONE item to ONE hanger. This manager yesterday would not let me get all 7 (yes, only 7) of my items checked with only 2 hangers. She would only let me do 2. She would also not let me borrow a few of their hangers for a few minutes either. I have been going to this location for over 30 years. I have always put several items on one hanger. No one has EVER told me this is not ok. If they had, I would not do it. As the manager said, She doesnt care if I have been coming there longer than she has been alive! Turnstyle consignment stores could not exist without good customers like me. I understand policies change. She told me she cannot make exceptions to rules. Others near by me told me if they had extra hangers they would have borrowed them to me. No one understood why she could not make an exception when this is something I have been doing for years. How about just be kind to a customer? I get it, something changed. And next time, I will do it the way you ask, but you just could have shown a bit of kindness. I wont be going back for a long time. Sad, that this business has changed so much!

There is always a big selection of rotating items. Prices are very reasonable and if you want to roll the dice for further mark down you can. The counter staff are always very nice and personable.

Staff are far more pleasant than Platos Closet. Good selection. You get paid when your stuff sells. Prices are great. It was 50% off full price items for New years and I walked out with 6 items for about $25!

I love this place. Kind and helpful staff, great deals and a great place to bring your gently used clothing. Furniture side is pretty fun, too! Also, if youre looking for petite items, this location has the best selection of all of the ones Ive been to. :)

Snooty about what theyll accept. I took in beautiful once or never worn dresses, and they rejected all of them, stating, We have to be very picky. Guess what. So do I, and I wont be going back to this dump of a place.

Okay selection, a real mix of clothing brands. You have to flip through a lot of clothes to find the gems. Good prices! Im very wary of their jewelry selection - I once saw a necklace in a Tiffanys box, but it was clearly not Tiffanys. Also once saw a pair of sunglasses in a Hobo International case, but they were not marked Hobo on the sunglasses.

This is the highest rated Turnstyle in the metro and for good reason! Im a frequent shopper at all locations and found EP has far more new and designer items. The saleslady who manages the clothing side (Anne?) is also phenomenal. I once saw a customer straight up screaming at her over an issue she had in the Plymouth location and Anne remained incredibly calm and helpful. Added bonus is the store is usually empty in the evening, so no crowds or long waits.

Turnstyle carries good quality clothes at very good prices. Mens selection is sufficient and a little bit more expensive. The Eden Prairie location has more childrens clothes than the other Turn Styles in the metro but no kids shoes anymore. This location also has a very large selection of womens boots. Its clean and inviting with a nice location. Enough dressing rooms and decent staff. I didnt personally have great luck consigning there with mens clothes, but it was right before they started their semi-annual clearance sale so the timing was poor and I should have waited until the following year.

I brought clothes in and was treated horribly!!! Even if someone doesnt have the stuff theyre looking for, they need to treat people with respect. They took one item to sell and I never heard from them again. They said they would contact me if it didnt sell within a certain amount of time. I never heard from them. I will never go there again!!!

I like this place prices are reasonable merchandise is reasonably well cared for.

Great way to get credit for clothes you aren’t wearing and great place to find new to you fashions!!! Love being able to turn in stuff I’m not using and get credit towards the new treasures I find in both the home and clothing store!!!!

Turnstyle is a gem. If you can be patient you can find especially fantastic deals here! This location has a great selection for women and mens clothing. Every once in a while they run promotions on Groupon which makes the deals even better!

I went into the store with my 2 year old and my friend. No one greeted us as we entered and my son, being 2 was excitedly running down the aisles of the store. Both employees rolled their eyes numerous times at him and after about 5 minutes the younger employee approached me and said: could you PLEASE keepYour son right by your side?! I work retail at a small store and I would NEVER approach a mother asking her to do this. I will not be back!

An exceptional resale shop with occasional real finds for home decorations. Not cheap but nice quality. Clothing selection in next door shop. Favoring womens clothing.

Date of Visit: 10/17/2018 - I am interested to see what comes of the 19 items I consigned today at approximately 5:00PM. The rules that the store clerks provided me didnt seem to match what I read on the internet. From what I read online, Turnstyle allows 50 items at one time - when I arrived they informed me I could only bring 35 to be sold. From what I read online, Turnstyle provides you with your own hangers back - when I arrived, the sales clerks informed me that you only get your hangers back if Turnstyle declines to try to sell your product (i.e. if it is outdated, not name brand, or not nice enough condition) and you take your products home with you on the same day you brought them in. From what I read online, Turnstyle will price your items while you shop - I brought in my items and was quoted 2.5 hours to 3 hours to have them priced or rejected. The clerks stated that most people drop the clothes off; run errands or go to appointments; then come back later - I asked if there was any way they could price them quickly, like they used to do, but they said no. They informed me to come back at 7:45PM (right before closing) to check with them and get my rejected items back - if I didnt pick up my rejected items by 8:00PM, they would donate to charity. My mother used to bring her gently used clothes to Turnstyle all the time to sell them and she could bring up to 50 items, she got every single hanger back, and she said they would price/reject the items in 15-25 minutes while you wait in the store. Either the rules have changed and Turnstyle has failed to update their policies and procedures on the website, or the staff is poorly trained and/or not following the policies and procedures. Im interested to see what my return will be on my items sold - will it be enough to outweigh the cost of buying more hangers? Or will I end up donating all my name brand items (Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Silver Jeans, etc.) to another thrift store and forgetting the consignment piece?UPDATE: Of the 41 mint-condition name brand pieces I have brought to the store the last week or so, they have accepted 12. They rejected Silver Jeans, Lane Bryant dress shirts, and Chicos sweaters - all were purchased last winter (perhaps thats too out of date for them to accept the item?) I am considering trying a different consignment store.
