I was there at 7 AM, mechanics present, counter staff absent.A non English speaking associate showed at 7:25 and after irrelevant talk managed to id me on system. Told him passenger rear is a flat.An hour later, a mechanic came by and said tyres are bad need replacement. I said ok, will decide later, get the flat dobe, I am out. He says (heavily accented) come get quote. I went and got one, asked him again to correct flat so I can go.9:15 AM I was shocked to see all tyres off the car and piled on side, mechanics talking. I went it and told them to put tyres back on so I can go. Tgey did put the back with each tyre different pressure 39, 35, 22, 26 PSI !!!!! I got home and fuming ever since !!!!!
Had a bad experience today. Slow customer service. Went in at 10am today. My request was misunderstood. Waited 3 hours for 2 tire change. Will I come back here for tire service. No. Hope you have better luck.
Came here because on the website they said it would be $15 for each tire insulation for the package that I wanted. After they had installed the tires all of a sudden it was $10 more and the guy at the register said that the website prices are not correct. Only came here because the prices were better than some other independent shops, Very disappointed they should just give us the price on the website as a courtesy since thats not our fault.
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!I took my 2007 Lincoln MKX to Walmart Edison for a regular oil change. I left to go purchase something in the store for 15 minutes. I returned to see that the mechanic was putting the wrong oil (5w30) into my engine instead of the correct oil (5w20). He never bothered to check the correct oil even though it says it directly on the oil cap of my engine. The next day I was stuck on the road and there was a loud rumbling noise coming from my engine. I had to tow my car to a mechanic.Later on, the mechanic told me my engine is knocked and needs to be replaced. The repair will be very expensive to replace. I tried to file a claim with Walmart but the manager at Auto care named Onnesimo argued with me that the damage was not their fault, even though I never had any prior issues with my engine. Furthermore, I showed him proof of a receipt that they put the wrong oil in and he did not care.Eventually, I was able to file a claim, however, the agent assigned to my claim named Tyler Boyd has not responded to me after taking my information and getting an estimate of the cost of repairs. I have tried calling and emailing numerous times and always reach voicemail and never get a response.I am still currently trying to get this issue resolved. My walmart claim # is L1606333 and my claims department # is 9647144. I would like to be reimbursed for damages done to my engine as a result of the oil change.

I visited the Edison, NJ Wal-Mart earlier this month, because I decided to invest in a set of new, all-season tires. After pricing a few places, Wal-Mart had the best deal, or so I thought! When I brought my car in, August 8th, I brang it in at 4pm ( thinking I had plenty of time since they close at 6pm). I went shopping in the store, and when I didnt hear from anyone regarding my car around 540pm I went towards the auto center and saw my car wasnt taken in yet! I inquired with the receptionist and she spoke to the technicians, that said they had forgotten, and would take the car in promptly. My husband and I watched as 4 technicians worked on my car, and had the tires mounted in 10 minutes! When I drove off with the car the tire sensor light was on, and I began hearing a loud thumping noise at the bottom front end of the car. Of course the store was closed for the day, and I had to drive the car home as is. The next day I called the store and told the receptionist what the issue was, she told me to bring the car back in, so I did. Turns out, the tires were never balanced! As for the sensors, I was bs into thinking they would turn off in 24hrs. Driving home a second time, still heard some noise and the sensor light was still on. I decided to take the car to my local Toyota dealer to look at the car for the noise I was hearing and to turn off the sensor light. Toyota looked at the car and said whoever worked on my car busted all 4 of my sensors! And the noise I heard underneath the car was the rusty rotors that needed to be changed, which I was unaware I needed, since the car was in perfect order prior to the initial Wal-Mart trip. Asked the Toyota tech for the total cost, which totaled 2,400! So, I go into Wal-Mart to save a few dollars on tires, to having over 2k worth of damage done to my vehicle. I have attempted speaking to managers, going to the store a 3rd time, today, to resolve the issue they created for me, however, no resolution was made. I am left aggravated, car is still experiencing issues, and was treated in a very rude manner, by the Asst. manager, Michelle. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, EVERYONE, DO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED BY WAL-MART, ESPECIALLY THE EDISON, NJ LOCATION. VERY INEXPERIENCED MANAGER, AND TECHNICIANS. ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!!! I WILL BE CONTACTING HIGHER AUTHORITY REGARDING MY ENCOUNTER WITH WALMART.

I was the second on line and I waited 4 hours to get my new tires installed! They left my old tires uninstalled and left it for more than 1 hour and no body came to install the new ones! Really? You cannot find cheap and feasible auto parts other than Walmart. Their prices are very reasonable.However, it takes too long to get it installed looks like they need to hire more technicians in order to get work done fast.other than that I was very satisfied with the service. Had a 12pm appointment for a tire install and oil change. I was told 40-50 minutes.Ended up leaving at 3pm when they were just about to start the oil. Since I was already livid at the amount of time for the tires, I demanded my car back.On what planet does a tire install and oil change take over 3 hours to do? Planet Walmart.Spoke to a manager, Michele, who did absolutely nothing.Tire install was done right, so a slight bonus there.Unless you have an entire day to waste, avoid this place.

When you go there make sure to have time I went there a very hot day and my tire pressure sensor came up after riding a bumpy road so I went they should check the tires they filled the tires instead of 33 they filled it to 43. Just checking took them 35 minutes. At night the light came back up so I went to another mechanic and released some air. And sensor light went away. But the people there are very kind and honest. Just don’t rely completely what the mechanic says go for a second opinion for diagnosis PRICE IS VERY GOOD.
I ordered two Douglas tires for my Sienna van.I stopped by the auto care center this morning.They greeted me politely with good manners.I told them to install my tires and do the tire rotations.After all paper work done, I went homeand come back around 6 pm to pay and pick upmy car.Based on my observation, wait time of tires installation will be long.So, it will be nice to drop your car in the morningand pick up later in the evening.They have good price on Douglas tires ($50 each)which are manufactured by Goodyear.The installation, tire balance and old tire disposal fees are cheap.Overall, I have good experience toward Walmart auto center service.
Always Backed up, and they move slow with or without an appointment. Only decent thing is their tires are decently priced compared to other places.. but what good is a new tire in an emergency if they are telling you it will be a 4 to 5 hour wait time. With 5 technicians moving like they 95years old... I bought my tire and went up the street and got it put on at Pep boys in less then 30 min!... get it together...Walmart...
I went to the autoCenter in Edison, NJ for tire balancing and engine filter change. The associate that helped me was Michael. He was extremely helpful in helping me pick out the right filters to put in my car and Did another service for which I did not have appointment for. He was also very helpful to other customers as I waited for my car to be finished. I would definitely come back here again and would recommend Walmart auto center in Edison, NJ to anyone needing tire services or other basic car services. Great customer service. However I recommend getting an appointment because they are constantly packed. With no appointment, the wait time can be a few hours. However with an appointment, they are pretty close to being on time. Much better than most mechanic shops I have gone to.
Long waiting, I was told it would take 4 hours, but it took more than 6 hours and was no where near my car. I choose to wait while they fix my car and had nothing to show for the 6 hours I waited. I was almost watching them for hours. Staff work too leisurely. It takes forever to just remove one tire. Only come here if you are leaving your car for service and have a lot of spare time and like spending time in walmart window shopping. The manager had a lot of attitude as well, she argued that 10:30am to 4:30pm was just 4 hours.

I purchased 4 tires online ship to store so I figured I’d have them install them as well. BIG MISTAKE! They scuffed up all 4 rims and lost the locking lug nut and would not take responsibility. I will never come back to auto center nor recommended anyone to do so.
Youre in for a wait. A 30 minute oil change can easily become a 3+ hour wait. Clearly lacking good management and competent employees. Its cheap though.
They never answer the phone, Customer service isnt the most welcoming. I had to come in at store opening on a Monday just to avoid long wait time and still took 2 hours. Plus they dont even provide wheel alignment for new tires. Good prices though

They are definitely challenged with time management. 4 bays and a wait time of 6 hours for an oil change? Ive tried twice to get my oil changed here and wont be returning. Its sad because other Walmart locations Ive been to around the country dont seem to struggle with getting customers wait times down to about 1 or 1/12 hours. They are loosing business because of this.
Id go with 4.5 stars if I could. Second time Ive ordered tires online and had them delivered here for installation. Only minor issues I had the 2nd time with the truck is the report said tires filled to 36 psi, door says 39, however all 4 were different from 43 to 45, figured it would correct itself after driving but even the next morning when checking cold temps, 2 were at 38 and 2 were at 40, which came closer, 2nd drive they were still off so had to correct then myself. The second issue was they pushed my power fold mirror in manually, not the end of the world, but it takes 2 seconds to look down at the switch by the windows and push it while you park it outside after the service. Only concern is potentially causing mirror motor issues, especially in winter.First time I went for my car early on a Saturday morning and they got me in and out in 90 mins, I think I was first after an oil change. Truck was a Wednesday afternoon at 1230pm and same thing, 90 min my truck was done.Otherwise Im happy with the service I received and would return again. The manager who assisted me was friendly and knowledgeable, showed me all 4 tires before I left to confirm they were correct.
Service is completely dependent on how busy they are. And they are usually booked for at least the next several days. Good price on tires and tire changes.
Everybody there was awesome even though the place was packed they got my car done quick .but they make way too little money . Walmart pays the technicians $11.00 an hour that is way too little for it technician
The guy that works at the front desk for customer service is nice and friendly but Never come to this place for a service, They dont have enough personal to run this place and the system to run it is slow, I had to wait 30 minutes to get service, then 3 hour to get the service done. The service was to change two tires and I wanted to keep the old ones because I could use them as a spare tires but, once I was leaving they put the tires as recycled and I asked for my tires and the guy went outside for them, but then what a surprise, tires were damaged, how come if I got to this place with the tires in use? then after 3 hours I got the tires damaged?
They took 2.5 hrs to do a basic standard oil change. Dont recommend if you value your time but price wise they are pretty reasonable.Asked to do an extra service which they never did and ended up in wasting almost 3 hours for just oil change.

First impressions of the tire replacement (Douglas Tires that are immediately available at this Walmart) was a good one. Although one of the workers doesnt know how to open the liftgate of the 2014 Ford Transit Connect to get that last tire, everything went well on time (total time of 4-tire installation was 1.5 hrs). However, when I did my final inspection at home, one of my new tires was incorrectly installed (needs to be flipped over). I am very glad that they fixed the issue immediately when I came back a few hours later. Customers, please inspect your tires if they are installed correctly before you leave the premises because some reviewers were right about the incorrect tire mounting.The big issue is the appointment (though I had no issues on my end, but other customers are having the issue). I recommend that you first buy the tires online (I will order Pirelli in the future and let them install for me) and have it shipped to this Walmart. Then, immediately call to make an appointment to schedule for installation. It is not worth the trip just to make the appointment and they dont have a way to make appointments online.I would give them 3 stars, but the immediate correction to the issue makes me give them a 4 star rating.Edit 8/7/18I found out that they did not take good care of the alloy rims. I see black marks on the edge of the rim that cant be removed by scrubbing with soapy water. I know for the fact because they used a very long dirty flat-head screwdriver to pry the old tire off, leaving hideous black marks. Expect your good alloy rims to be damaged while the tires are being changed.All in all, I rather buy the Douglas Tire itself and let a more reputable installer to to the job like Mavis Tire.
A very bad experience at this place as i was told a wait time of about 2 hours. When I went after 2 hours they informed that I need to wait another 2 hours after which my car will be taken. I had to cancel & service my vehicle somewhere else .

Expect to wait. They told me yesterday wait would be 3 hours but it ended up being 4 hours to have 2 tires changed. The staff was friendly and helpful. They nickel and dime you with installation and disposal fees.
I changed tires but they did not perform the wheel balancing correctly on the new tires now car starts bowling after 50MPH. I need to re-visit and spend 2-3 hours again to rectify this issue. Very unprofessional work done even for the simple job.

Really horrible and super slow service. Bad attitude of the staff and Service manager himself is worst of all. Went there on a weekday thinking Ill be done quickly but it took them 45 minutes to write me up when they had no other customers. They told me 45 minutes for oil change but when I came back after an hour, my car was not even in as yet. I complained to Service manager only to hear response back that i should get it done where they can do faster. Such a bad attitude on top of horrible service.
Unfortunately they dont carry all sizes of tires but the service rep was quite helpful and informed. Havent been serviced yet. Waiting for tires (had to order online) to be shipped to store.
Won`t recommend to anybody. Extremely long waiting time, and usually only one person here. My wheel shift to the right after replace the tire here, and what they say is: this is none of our business, go somewhere else to solve your problem.

Do not use Edison Walmart tire and Auto center! After complaining about my tires to their Corp office for almost a month, calling the store and getting no answer, their Corp office had to file a complaint about them. Now, after I order my own tires to be delivered here for prorate adjustment, Ive been waiting 5 hours, even after being told by Auto manager she would get it done sooner than 6 oclock. Horrible service! My receipt dor tire refund was 1:22. My work order shows I checked in at 4:46?????? Did the manager forget to check me in????? The sales person keeps disappearing and keeps repeating first come first served when I ask how long. The phone rings and auto department is paged overhead numerous times and no one answers. Never going there again, and the staff should be replaced!!
Worst service you can imagine. Operation hours lists 7AM-7PM but they wont take any cars after 4:30PM which is very misleading. If youre there at 7AM youll wait 10 mins for someone to show up and actually open the doors. Employees treat you like youre a burden. Dont recommend using them.
Very Disappointment! Came to confirm that if I can install my tires here and the staff said yes just bring them here. Asked if appointment needed and the staff answered NO! Today I got my tires and skipped my work to come here at 4pm. Another staff said walk in only available in the morning! WTF!

The crew will do everything in their power to ignore you. You can sit there at the counter waiting to buy a tool, battery, tire, etc, clearly a short transaction, and still never be attended to. Go buy whatever you need at Pep Boys, Autozone, Sears or literally anywhere else.

I came in here to get all four tires changed I had to wait 3 hours after they finally finished I was told by one of the so called Mechanic that I have no tpms and I know my car was equipped with them before I came to walmart so one of them basically took them off my car. I had to get the cops involved which didn’t help much. I was told by the manager they will reimburse me after I purchase new sensors and show them the receipt.
Customer service staff is very friendly especially Mukesh Patel, the auto center takes very long to get things done as there are less staff and more cars.To get my car battery changed I waited for more than 3 hours .
I go to this Walmart all the time and my experience has always been a great one.. today however it wasnt a great experience! Usually when you are walkng out there may be a worker by the exit who only checks receipts for items outside of a bag, however today I noticed that some people with all items in a bag were able to walk out but when the man asked for my receipt I questioned it, especially since there were others walking right out in the same sinerio as me, all items in a bag! Why do they pick and choose, I was highly and extremely offended! There should be one rule for everyone, I go to many different Walmarts even other states and my experience has always been the same, receipts for all items unbagged! I dont care if receipts are checked thats not the issue its when rules are changed randomly for some people, thats not ok! And this was done right in front of me ! Please speak to your employees and raise awareness to this issue, unbagged items receipts checked and bagged items no, but if the rules change thats ok as well I just felt humiliated, how dare you do this to me, an honest and hard working woman, shame on you ! Check people who are really stealing ! Have a good day!
I call at 3 pm to install 2 new tires and they said oh we stop taken cars now.I ask what time you close at 6pm.No professional.
I made an appointment for 10am to get 1 tire changed and all 4 tires rotated. They estimated it would take 1hr - 1 1/2 hrs...in reality it took 2 hrs and 20 minutes. 1 hr and 45 min into waiting they told me the tire we had planned to put on was unavailable and asked if a different tire was okay which meant they hadnt started on my car until then. Also a mechanic made an inappropriate comment/joke to me which is not acceptable in a place of business. I will not be returning to this auto center.

I went there for a oil change. On the way back from there garage, I realized the oil code on the window sticker was wrong. I brought my car back next day. They tried to lie about it. They tried to convince me that was just the typing issue on the sticker.But I was on there site and I saw which box of oil the technician used. We went in to check the number on the box. Wow! It was not only the wrong oil code but also not synthetic oil I was asked for. They double lied to me!!! I am a customer who trusted them for years. I will never bother to visit them anymore.Attention!!! Desk lady was Ms. Tanya, Technician was Mr. Don Tiratira.
Very hard to get appointments. Can get tires at good price. But as appointments are hard to get, at least one week wait. If you are in urgent need, this is not the place.

Worst place to fix tires. I had some problem after installing new tires. I went back to check and they refused to even take the responsibility and told me that the problem is something else and not the tires. Balancing and installation was not done properly. Same thing happend with my friend too. He had to fix it in philadelphia.
It took them 3 hours for oil change and injection cleaning. Under staffs at the shop. It was my day off...I was patient. They need to hire more people at the front desk and the shop.

I went there for Battery replacement as AAA suggested me to change the battery. The associate is very nice and told that, battery replacement is not required and battery is good for two years.

You would think they would get tired of the same line, It will be about three, three and a half hours. We have a lot of cars, and do something about it!!!
