Not happy with service lied about tire rotation. When simple job not completed then how I am going to believe they changed my break fluid.

Would not recommend. They didn’t actually perform any vehicle checks just changed oil. Relied on them to look at everything. My brakes blew out just after they checked my car and assured me it was great. Brakes had needed replacing for ~10000 miles. Lost all braking power lucky not to crash.
Ended up not getting service done here but the customer service was really good. Typically if you come in last minute on a Saturday any other mechanic would chew your head off but they were super nice and professional.
While driving from New York to Delaware our car unexpectedly had a tire problem. We found Midas near us and took it there to see if we could possibly fix it in the short notice, so we can head back on our way. Jerry and the team tried there and best and helped us replace the tires as fast as they could and helped us get back on our way. They really saved the day! Had a great experience :)

Came to Midas because my car was grinding when I reversed and stopped. Made an appointment and was attended by a gentleman named Jerry who inspected my car and explained that I did not need breaks. The issue was stemming from the ice and the bad weather. He told me my brakes did not need to be changed yet and if he did them he would not guarantee that the notice would stop. His suggestion was to come back in a few months. I appreciated his honesty and will def be back to do business with them.

So they will let you make an appointment to get work done on your car, and when you show up for the appointment they will tell you that the mechanic isnt in that day... So WHY DID YOU LET ME MAKE THE APPOINTMENT??? The staff is probably lazy and they dont care to do intricate tasks that require their effort and skill. They want to change tires and do oil changes all day because its fast and easy and they can zip people through that will give them 5 stars. And thats fine, but if youre going to ghost on my exhaust job, tell me that you dont want to do it before I schedule everything around that appointment and plan on having my car fixed by a certain date.
These guys are not only personable and friendly but honest! Told them all four brakes needed replacing. They could have just gone with that, but after analysis, they told us it only needed the front two done. The dealer (Ford) lied! I came here because Fords estimate was outrageous and Id been here for oil changes before. I splurged for the best brakes and the best full oil change because I trust Midas. I tell my daughter to go to them, I want her treated right too and I want her vehicle safe. Thanks guys! Great coffee! :)

Very disappointed! Went there to get my brakes fixed and they told me I needed to replace a sensor. So, I did that and they give the car back to me in a condition that was not safe to drive. I got on the highway and the car would not accelerate! I had to back the car back into their shop on the highway! Then, they tell me I need a new wheel bearing and that was causing the sensor to not work properly. But I paid for the sensor which still isnt working and was never even offered a refund! Then, after taking the car to them, I started having issues with the transmission (which I wasnt having before) and had to have it rebuilt! Now, Im having issues with the brakes again just a few months later! Needless to say, I was very disappointed and I regret that I ever took my car to them!
I went in for an exhaust leak and the staff not only identified where the leak was, but also showed me for my reference. Ken, the manager at the time, was very informative and explained the repair that needed to be made. The staff did not try to push any extra repairs on me like most repair shops do. Trevor was the man that worked on my car and he did a perfect job. Overall very satisfied with my service here, would certainly recommend this place.

Answer to my prayers. Navigator got stuck in Menlo Park Mall less than a 2 minute drive or a 5 minute walk. My car was stuck and would not make it there. I had it towed to this shop. However, I drove away with the keys so they couldnt diagnose it Still, they were great about it. Next day, returned with the keys. I got the call with the issues the following morning and told them I needed a few days to pay and still, they were great about it. They would hold the car for me with no additional fees. They did a courtesy check and told me everything that was wrong with my inherited car from my father. Prices were reasonable. Very helpful team - was even approved for a credit line. Good service and good Customer Service. Will return again with my other vehicles for service.
I scheduled an oil change, and the evening before the oil change I ended up getting a flat. Anthony was able to get my flat tire checked out to see if it was repairable, got the tire patched, was very helpful, and got my tire repaired and balanced as well as got the original oil change within a few hours. Id highly recommend them.
Nail in tire, went to Goodyear and Firestone and was told i need new tires without even further diagnostic. Came to Midas, they took the nail out and the nail didnt even penetrate into the tire. No charge for taking the tire out. (Goodyear charged $20 for inspection). Look no further if youre looking for honest tire shop. Keep up the good work!
Came here to get oil changed and tires rotated. Only $20 with a coupon. They also offered free suspension inspections and found issues with my car. Staff were nice and willing to help. If you’re in the area I would recommend this shop.

Went there to get an oil change for my BMW. Turns out they don’t know what they are doing. Guy was taking off the entire undercover to get to the oil plug. When all you have to do is turn a plastic tab and flip it open. Also they couldn’t get the plug open once they got to it.The person working at the counter said I would have to take it to the dealer to get the oil vacuumed out. I change my own oil when I can, and I can tell you it doesn’t need to be vacuumed out.I was very disappointed with the service and the ignorance of the staff working there.Pro: They topped off my windshield washing fluid.Con: While they were getting my car on the lift. The person driving my car opened the door and hit it against the lift. There is a small dent on my door now which is clearly visible.If you have anything but a Honda or Toyota don’t go here! The person at the desk said those are the cars they work on most. Anything else, your better off doing it yourself or taking it to any place but here.

Managers are friendly and nice they go over your vehicle from top to bottom let you know what is good and what is needed prices are fair, wont tell you that some repair is needed if it isnt Way to Go!!!
Midas in Edison is always my first choice when it comes to any car repair or maintenance. I always have great experiences even though having car troubles isnt a joyous occasion. The prices are fair and the customer service is excellent. One of the associates at Midas even stayed an extra 3 hours on a SUNDAY to fix my car. MAJOR KEY ALERT!

Gurantee not Guranteed - Hi, I got my rotors and brake pad changed couple of years back. After I came back from a weeks vacation in January2020, I took my car out and found a strange noise whenever I was trying to apply breaks. The noise was so bad that I had to take it to the nearest dealer. The Nearest dealer - FIRESTONE showed me the rusted brake pads and asked to change it immediately without taking my car any further as a safety measure. I did so and kept the rusted brake pads with me as a proof and called Midas. They told me that those brake pads are still in Gurantee but as I had went to another dealer they wont Gurantee it. My point is that the brake pads are Guranteed and they turned bad then why not pay the Guranteed amount. What has other dealer to do with it? Are they expecting people to take a life risk and come with the bad part to them alive or not alive?
I had gone to the Midas in my neighborhood, 28 miles from Midas Edison and was extremely unhappy with the experience in Eatontown. Because they are franchised, I didnt want to penalize Midas, so,, on the recommendations of colleagues, as I work in Edison, made an appointment here. These men are the reason I patronize Midas. This guys doesnt inspect car properly and always giving extra maintenance to make money from customers this is what i feel.also guys on the weekends seems rude, if you only do oil change they will not like it, if you do extra maintenance you are the right person at this place.
I took off work to go get a oil change, I found a awesome coupon on Groupon for a $20 oil change. I go into the office and they tell me they do not honor Groupon. I then had to demand Groupon to refund the money and had to pay $40 for the stupid oil change which took almost 2 hours!

Went for oil change and routine check. After they were done I asked specifically if wiper fluid was filled as I was getting the light. They said they had filled it. Kept getting the light, finally when I checked they had left the lid of the wiper fluid open and totally empty. The coolant fluid was nearly at its min as well. Wonder if they really changed the engine oil. The tire rotation has left the lugs very greasy and dirty as well.

Went for oil change a month ago and was suggested to change the air flow filter. Filter was changed and things seemed right. A month later the engine light was on and my car is shaking and turned out the mechanic installed the filter upside down, which is a stupid mistake that even a child wouldnt make. The mass air flow sensor was out because of theres no filter for it so the engine was not sensing the right amount of air. Returned the car to them for a fixation. They did something I dont know what and it seemed to be fixed. But after that my car is drifting to right and wheel is off-centered, which, techniqually, should has nothing to do with the sensor fixation. I went to them again the second day and they just denied. They say the car is not drifting and that my feeling is not correct. They went on blaming me for not having tires changed at their place and blah blah blah. I just had one oil change and now my cars air flow sensor is damaged and the car is not driving strainght. If you want to damage your car, go to this Midas.
February 2019Day 1 got airfilters, alignment and wheel balancing. EVERYTHIBG WAS FINE WITH THE ENGINEDay 2 engine sign showed up and car stopped. Got it towed and they realize AIR HOSE OF THE AIR FILTER WAS NOT CONNECTED BACKDay 3 engine sign showed up again without any reason. Had to get a catalytic converter fixed.July 2019 UpdatePositive experience. Manager had changed. Anthony (new manager) did a good job and was good enough to.discount the price for the trouble Midas caused in February.

Terrible customer service! This place is a joke! I went there at 1 pm for alignment service and I requested them to apply the chemical I have in the car. Kylie the lady at front desk gave me 2 options: She wanted me to wait couple of hours while the car is get fixed or come back tomorrow.I preferred to wait instead of coming next day. At the same time the store manager Paul was there and he said he will take care of my car and the chemical. I left the car and walk down to Menlo Park mall. Since nobody gave me a call I went back there at 3:30. My car was not fixed yet. Kyle wanted me to bring my car back tomorrow.!!! Since I was ensured my car will be fixed today I explained the situation and they wanted me to wait. At 3:50 She said they can not take care of my car today because alignment takes 1,5 hour. Also she said they can not apply the chemical because they dont want to take responsibility for that. But I was not told that 3 hours ago! She said she says whatever she was told. I wanted to talk to the manager. The manager Tony said he didnt promise me for the maintanence! (But he did) And he said they had to close the store at 3:00 pm (but my google search says 4:00 pm) Also he states the people working there needs family time! I have waited for 3 hours for nothing. I respect everybodies private time but if you do professional job you should have told me there is a possibility of you wont be able to take care of my car today. Or at least you could have give me call then I could come and get my car. You guys wasted my 3 hours for nothing.
My horror story begins with I purchased off ebay some new tires for my Suv I then priced several places for installation and alignment Midas offered the best price so I scheduled my appointment for a Friday which happened to be a day off I had from work my appointment was for 9am so I arrive a little early give my keys sign off for them to do the work meanwhile I am sitting there waiting and the two people ahead of me have got their vehicle done and left as I am waiting two different customers come in bringing their previously worked on cars back one had a still existing problem from when they brought it there before the other customer had a new problem with his car that didnt exist before this should have been my warning to run but I waited anyway by 11 am I am getting antsy my truck had been on the lift for a hour and a half so I asked was there a problem they told me the tech was almost done then the tech came out and tried to run game on me like I was just born yesterday he proceeds to tell me that I need my belt replaced my rear brakes and I needed to replace my battery which all together it would cost me $900 + I told him with as much politeness as possible put my just do what I came for so he took another 45 min to do a wheel alignment which I was told at first I might not need but after refusing all the other work of course now I needed it. finally around 1:30 -2pm he finally hands my keys to the guy in the office and says its done .I pay my bill and get in my Suv the drives side of my floor did not feel right but i wanted to get out of there so I left I got home and I thought my floor mat was causing the issue but when I looked underneath my truck I could see what the cause was when the tech put my vehicle on the lift he put the supports underneath my vehicles body not the frame and he lifted up the driver and passenger side flooring and put a huge bubble under both and punctured the flooring I immediately took my vehicle back the store manager looked at it and checked the camera from the time I was there and told me that the Tech caused the damage and that they would pay for it long story short it cost them around $2000 for the repair and providing me with a rental to drive during the time I was without my vehicle I will never recommend this location or return here ever again!!! talk about Karma trying to rip off a customer backfired on them oh and I took my vehicle to the dealer and they do a 21 point inspection and they told me my battery,brakes and belt were fine none needed replacing SMH....
I originally had service performed on my vehicle in June, where a tune-up, spark plug replacement, fuel system service, and belt replacement were all performed. A few weeks ago I was driving at 65mph on a highway and heard a rattling under the hood. I pulled over and found a service tool loose under the hood of my car. Needless to say that this was a very disconcerting discovery, and I fear for the potential hazard this could have caused had I not pulled over when I did. I brought the tool and my vehicle back to the Midas and explained the situation. They asked if I knew of any problems, to which I reported a squealing of the belts. The technician proceeded to inspect and tighten the belts. However, the issue of the tool left under my hood was not addressed, and I remain troubled by it. I paid nearly $400 for service, and was subjected to an extremely hazardous situation. With this issue unresolved and unaddressed I will likely not be returning to this Midas location, or any others as a result.

Horrible service.I had my rear rotors and brake pads changed May 2014 for over $700 (i.e. I was ripped off).6 months later: brakes are grinding again. I take it back December 2014, and Ben the manager tells me the caliper needs to be replaced. Charges me another $150.Fast forward one year later. My right rear brake pad is now worn down to metal and the Midas shop Ive taken it to in my hometown tells me the brakes were never installed properly and thats why theyve worn unevenly. Price for full replacement of all 4 rotors and brake pads? $650. i.e. about the half the price of what Ben charged me down in New Jersey for a job he didnt even do right.Needless to say, I am taking this up with HQ. DO NOT take your car there.
DO NOT GO THERE! Took my car for a routine oil change. Days later, oil leaks all over my driveway! I shouldve known something was going to happen because while in the waiting area, 3 people came in complaining about a dent in their car to loud noises the car didnt have before being serviced at this place. DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT trust these people. Never again!
