Good food, amazing deserts and I really like chilly fish here.service by the owner and Meg was very welcoming. Also the chicken curry in the afternoon buffet tastes really good. The handi chicken biryani is awesome, You would be amazed by the presentation. Thanks to meg for her recommendation s..The fennel(soump)at the end should be changed, its roasted and not sweet but salty which is not expected in an Indian restaurant.Revisit : breakfast items are good too.
We have been there several times, and every time the food has been absolutely delicious! All the items are fresh. The restaurant is clean. The servers are very kind. It is a quiet very relaxing place. I highly recommend the buffet lunch as well as the evening menu items.
Haleem here was amazing 👌🏽. Not sure if they serve whole year but cal and check for availability. Lunch buffet is what you all need to try for sure as they are pro in changing menu everyday. Lovely food and I got to speak with the chef there and they have head chef from old city Hyderabad and that says it all. I highly recommend this place.
Great place with great food! It is affordable and the food tasted great! They also gave more than enough, quantity wise. I highly recommend it!
Lunch Buffet was very good with lots of choices.. the staff was really helpful. And I had dinner on the other day it was really good. Menu have good choices, comparatively reasonable prices.
Loved the buffet. Worth the price. They had really good selection of food for vegetarians and meat lovers. Their dum biryani and chicken 65 were delicious. It was an amazing experience, the staff was very friendly. Im coming back soon guys!
Their buffet is elaborate!!! Close to 25-30 items on the weekend. I was definitely impressed with them having chicken, goat, prawns and fish along with 3 desserts. The best part of the buffet was the masala tea in the end and 3 varieties of desserts they had
I absolutely lived this place. The food was very good. However, it was a buffet, there was a lady who was constantly asking if everything is fine. So many options with nonveg items.Dont forget the Masala Tea in the end. I will visit another time.
Perfect place for those who wish to have authentic South Indian Food. Dhum Biryani was too good that I took another parcel home as this restaurant is closed on Tuesday. Fish fry and chicken curry too were tasty. Staff too were very friendly. Would definitely visit again.
I really hate the staff and management . No one was available to serve food . They served water in a beer glass . Typically not suggested for the buffet . There were no breads available I had to wait for 40 mins for the bread . Overall quality was not good I had a very bad experience I don’t suggest anyone who is planning to visit this. Looking at the name it doesn’t match the quality and the price .
Amazing food in great prices. Friendly staff. Loved the buffet. Waiting to come back again.
Great food and great service with friendly staff. A very good Indian restaurant.
We ordered Baahubali special chicken biryani -Mandi style he bought us boneless biryani and told us that’s what we ordered. Entire staff lie with me us. This happened twice to me. This place sucks. I never recommend to visit this place.
We have tried many Indian restaurants in the area, and this is definitely our new favorite. Compared to other Indian restaurants, the decor here is modern and contemporary.Mutton marag & chicken pasanda they served was one of the best I had in years. Wish their service was little faster but they were busy on a Saturday. Will come back with my friends. Do check out their yelp checkin dessert offer.
Visited the place after hearing good things on FB and a couple of friends; was not disappointed. Service and taste were amazing. One of the dishes was spicy but they were very accommodating and made it a pleasant experience. They switched to dum biryani with mild spice level for us.
I was seeing the reviews and adds in FB . Came here with so much expectations but it was a utter disappointment . The Tandoori chicken piece I took was literally raw chicken when I opened it . None of the food is tasty except that it’s spicy . Only Fish Fry was good . Kids were not able to eat any food as it’s spicy and uncooked . My son ended up eating salad . They need to concentrate more on cooking tasty food .Not coming back . All the excitement to come here got spoiled and we leftLeft hungry .
Best place for homely food. Spiciness is well customised. Very friendly and attentive staff. Both veg and non veg are equally good. Loved Chicken 65 and Guthi vankaya.
Buffet is really nice, we went around 3:30 almost at the time of closing but
Today I went to this restaurant. I saw chicken curry uncooked. And also there lot of houseflies. When I ask the waiter he said when you open the door they will come . Even he did spray anything inside. Worse customer services....
Beware, this is not Karaikudi anymore. Anyone is hungry and would like to have good food, or even food, please do not come here. Came here with my pregnant wife and daughter, they made us wait more than half an hour just for Chicken Soup. Then came the most horrible surprise in my 35 years, Thalappakattu Biriyani which is worse than the standards of Indian restaurants in remote Arizona. This shop wont go too far, service will be remembered for being best in worst.
Baahubali kitchen & grill is by far the best Indian restaurant on Oak Tree Road. Ive been to their weekend buffet for 3 consecutive weeks and surprisingly they never repeated their menu, they had a consistent quality and quantity! Try their Haleem, it is delicious! I had it today and it was like tasting authentic Hyderbadi Haleem!
I loved the ambience and the service level was extraordinary. Great food and different varieties.
Worst food ever, was expecting a lot seeing all the FB posts and the name!! Lol, never coming back. And also the price for buffet is ridiculous for such limited number of dishes and the bland taste. Only thing I liked here was the fresh cut apples, papad and curd rice 😂
Had been there in the weekend. Relished the Hyderabadi taste .Dhum Biryani and Chicken 65 were extremely good.Double ka Meetha was rich and delicious. Will definitely visit again .
Baahubali is good for its food, ambience and very friendly staff and quality of food.goat briyani-5*Chicken lollipop-5*Shrimp chili-4-*Eggplant curry-4.5*Mutton Haleem-4.5*Much recommended Indian restaurant on Oaktree Rd, Edison
Place with friendly conversation😁😁..Tasty food 👌👌👌...
Enjoyed the Desi.. especially Hyderabadi food after many days. Finding the original taste of Hyderabad here in the US is something to be truly appreciated. The Dhum Biryani and. Chicken 65 reminded me of my Hyderabad days. Thankyou Baahubali Kitchen and Gril. Shall come.back soon.
A really good south Indian restaurant. Went there on friends suggestion thinking it was Karaikudi. But currently it is south Indian. It did not disappoint me. I just loved the taste of food that made me nostalgic . The buffet was very good especially the Biryani and nonveg appetizers. Tasted Haleem too as it was Ranjan month. . mango mousse, double ka mittha were too good. The owner or manager also was too receptive and was attending to all customers. Will definitely visit again soon. Thanks to the staff and chefs.
In the name of thalappakatti biriyani, they give something horrible. Folks, dont waste money...think b4 u go there!
Seriously .. da best Indian lunch buffet wit a huge selection of rare food items ihv come across recent times n “Iam a foody n ihv a word fa BAAHUBALI@ “DELICIOUS ” “... ivl come back ... thank you fa the EXCELLENT service ..🙏🏻
This is a pretty new place in Edison. We heard about this word of mouth. To my surprise, this place turned out to be the beat Ive had in w long time. Try the mandi biryani here, chefs speciality!
No reservations required.** This is a new restaurant**If you have more hours to waste, then you can go ahead to this restaurant. We just ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dish, this whole took literally 2:30+ hours. Also, one more interesting and unique feature of this restaurant is... None of the two plates on your table will be similar. Plates should be replaced for sure.We have ordered,Baahubali boneless chicken biryani. Yet we got very small portion of biryani, which consists of honeless chicken pieces besides two spoons of Biryani rice... Definitely should not be called as Biryani.Damn !! Never going to this restaurant again if they continue to run the business like this.
Came with my friends to try the newest restaurant in Edison as had heard excellent feedback from a friend. This place serves a wide array of dishes representing Chettinad, Andhra, Telangana and Mughlai cuisines. We got complimentary crispy poppadums with sweet chutney and pickled onions which was a great start. For appetizers we tried Tava fish, Drums of heaven (chicken) both of which were bursting with flavors. Then we ordered Goat and Chicken sukha which was smothered in delicious spices and tasted amazing. We also tried baby corn black pepper which was perfectly balanced with crispy veggies mixed with baby corn adding a perfect balance. Not to forget how good the Shrimp 65 tasted. Perfect amount of crispiness and bold flavors made it the perfect addition to the things we ordered. For the mains we were recommended the Chefs special Mandi Biryani. Mandi originates from Saudi Arabia and is the traditional dish of Yemen. Being a fan of Yemenese food, I also knew it is also popular in Malabar region of Kerala and Karnataka. The word “mandi” comes from the Arabic word nada which means “dew”. This is meant to be shared and we got the Goat and Chicken versions to try in our large group of 7 people and it was finger-licking delicious. From the Mughlai side we tried Paneer Butter Masala with Malabar paratha and I can tell that was the best dish I have tried in Mughlai food anywhere in Jersey or Manhattan. Sweet ending to the meal was hot brownie with ice cream. Happy tummy and happy customers. Service was impeccable and the staff was very attentive. We will be back to try their buffet lunch too!
Pathetic food in buffet. crowd is coming in considering it is Karaikudi... The waiters dont care if food has to be refilled.... at 1 PM bread was not there, tandoori not there, chicken not there. no dessert.... either it should be so crowded so it got over but I doubt it as none of them did any justice to indian food. bye bye....
Very nice south Indian food
Came here for a lunch buffet on weekend and am frankly disappointed that except for biryani which was okay everything was lame....
The buffet was a good
Been there for Sunday buffet. Was expecting karaikudi dishes. But disappointed 😔 i didnt like the main dishes.
