Not a one star review overall, but specifically the assistant manager Franky Jackson. Have yet to meet anyone as rude, belligerent, and frankly incompetent in the TA network.Came in at 145am, having reserved a parking spot hours prior. Checked the reservation app, and I could still purchase one of 10 available spots. There are 22 total. And yet zero actual spots.Franky argued with me that it is not HIS job (I said he was doing a really bad job of ensuring spots were available), that he was doing his job well.If you are in charge, your job is making sure all the jobs get done. Arguing with a customer that you’ve essentially stolen from by your ineptitude...that officially makes him the very worst employee in the entire TA system. No “I’m sorry for your inconvenience, let me get someone on it right away”. No apology or acknowledgment of any kind. This man has no business working in customer service period. And whoever hired him as a manager is bad at their job as well.

Excellent stop! Staff is extremely friendly! Restrooms are clean! Showers are super well maintained! Decent food options for fast food, AND a dunkin for your caffeine needs! Highly recommend this place for the road traveling folks!

Better appearing on the inside of the store, better environment than at the J place across the road. No dust or grime around fountain drink area. Had a good food court of 4 choices. More Sanitary Truck Stop is what people want to be in.

I had a brake chamber go out went to Petro one truck in the whole bay told me 4 to 5 hours called ta they said about an hour wait drove over to TA they had 4 trucks in bay and they put me in the bay immediately in 55 minutes they had my brake chamber fixed and I was back on the road very nice and friendly guys. I got to give Trevor a shout out being an awesome mechanic quick at his job great job thanks for helping us truck drivers get out on the road quickly

Always easy in and out and big areas for large campers and trucks or cars with trailers to refuel. Store has food, snacks, and essentials. Reasonable prices for this kind of place.

One of the cleanest and well maintained truck stops I’ve been to. Shower is Very clean and stocked with several towels. Nice restaurant selection.

Ive had my truck repaired here twice. Two separate issues. The staff is very friendly. Im in and out. They dont take hours and hours fooling around in between. One gentleman also likes dogs. He has dog biscuits. Id recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys

Stopped in for a team shower. When we got checked in there were still 2 showers available after getting the first. Only 1 cashier, so we lost the two open showers and ended up having to wait for a shower to be completed. Totally unacceptable that on a Saturday afternoon at 12 noon in a store this big that they only have 1 cashier, who was on the floor doing sales in electronics. TA and Petro continue to get worse for their customer service. I guess I should go back to fueling elsewhere. Cant afford to keep waiting.

With the plentiful food options and the cleanliness of the store, Ill definately be back. Just wish the maintenance on the diesel pumps would hurry and finish.

Beat truck stop around for the money.Panda Express, dunkin doughnuts, Popeyes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Starbucks, chilis, chipotle. Just to name a few. it’s all here. And actually not too dirty either clean showers

Sbarro pizza has some great food especially the stromboli with marinara sauce real good cant wait to be back again great customer service.

If you are headed south on I-57 this is a pretty decent place to stop as a car traveler. It is EASY off straight through the light, then back on is RIGHT across from the TA Goasis. There are bathrooms, a variety of beverages and snacks as well as during regular business hours a Dunkin Donuts, Popeyes Chicken and SBarros. It is a quick easy safe bathroom and pit stop for us. There are also many food options at the Exit 160 stop area.

The people who works in the service are not nice at all, was there to do the DOT inspection, they named To many parts I had to put which I did, spent 2k and at the end they still said not passed do not recommend this place at all, and the wait time is crazy

I’ll have to give 5 stars based on my first contact with the maintenance staff at this facility. I truly lacked the knowledge needed for a service component concern. The tech reviewed the findings with me and verified my truck was within compliance. My date of service at facility was 11/18/20 around 6 AM.

Excellent, service bay staff was on the job, very nice and friendly. You dont see that these days. After doing a quick express oil change on my truck and trailer, my mechanic found a broken pin from my trail axles, simple fix but, would have been a pain if the D O T catches it. When I check my brakes this morning it wasnt missing. If they keep this kind of service up, Ill come here more offend and refer other drivers. Once again guys excellent job.

Do not ever think on going into the shop here. Spent 6 hours waiting for a tire change. Not even going to get paid for it. Beter go on to speedco next door.

Great selection. Clean showers. There showers without any kind of trucker benefits are 2 dollars more expensive than flying Jays cross the street and flying Jays is just as nice.

A complete rip off by Larry. This truck shop is not in best interest of truckers. They never mention hidden costs or best alternatives. Inexistent customer service up until the check-out. Stay away.

Just needed a retorque from an earlier road call. 30 second job, they were rude and told me Id have to wait about 3 hours. This has never happened st any other petro/ta in all the years Ive been driving. What a pathetic display of customer service.

Have way to my destination and I am very thankful for all they have. Gas is a good price too

Horrible TA Shop drove 750 miles Came to get 2 tires changed at 8pm. Sat in the bay for 3 hours until the guy on night shift with the beard came and gave me the biggest attitude and said it was gonna take him all night when I asked how long. I told him nevermind and left. He said he didnt want to do it anyways. I left at 12:30am

The got the job done right the 1st time and made sure to make me aware of future potential issues with items on truck that were coming up due for service. Thanks for the heads up and great service. Bring your trucks here for work.

Fine if you want booger coffee.Saw the guy putting new coffee in the brewers.He was fidgeting with his beak and then put the coffee in the filter baskets.Then went over by the door to fidget with his nose some more.

Came in to get a phone reaactivated at Verizon the process was difficult Cam and Robert were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Definitely made the process a lot less painful than it couldve been.

My safe place to stop when I am on the road. The bathroom is always clean and stocked with TP.

Service not efficient. Made an appointment in the evening for an alignment, on arrival they brought me in and I was the only truck in the shop. I waited for an hour and a half before they started working on me. There was 3-5 employees here chit chatting and not doing my service:/ not pleased.

Nice clean TA. Had to have a couple of marker lights on the trailer Im pulling replaced as they burned out in the middle of my run. Service was fairly quick given the time of day I was here. Fuel was not to bad when I take my fuel surcharge into account. Nice Iron Skillet where the waitress was friendly and the food was good. Do yourself a favor and get a Arnold Palmer while your here. They are especially good. Stay safe out there drivers.

Buy gas there usually the lowest prices in town and my Shell Rewards gives me $0.05 off per gallon

Nice clean truck stop lots of merchandise.

Nice gas station and convenience store in Effingham, Illinois. They had everything one would need from a travel store. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with supplies. They have an ample selection of snacks and drinks. The gas prices were the cheapest in the immediate area. They also have semi truck parking, diesel and a few truck supplies.

One of the cleaner truck stops I have been to in a while. This one has multiple bathrooms and many showers. There are food options, but the chicken and pizza place close in the middle of the night. I got here at around 4am and was able to find parking. Dunkin donuts was open and has a decently priced menu for breakfast and donuts.

I want to give special thanks to Charlene for the showers. It was the cleanest shower in a very long time. In my opinion this is how a shower, or I can say a Truck Stop is supposed to look: SPARKLING CLEAN. Thanks again Charlene

Dont eat at Sbarro. Nice ppl. Popeyes make chicken sandwiches in the back were u cant see them, unlike mostly ALL other Popeyes, so u cant see if the sandwich is fresh or not, neither can u see this big slop of grease that somehow landed inside my sandwich. Was a 5 star place but I stopped by and updated review. Minus two stars since I had to eat a heart attack sandwich prepared by guys lurking in the back with no gloves during Corona crisis

Great merchandise and service and they have several places to grab a bite to eat. Plus of course my favorite the gamming room. Slots and more slots. But have had no luck there. But like their knife assortments.

Cheap gas and friendly service

Worst place to stop . Yes there shopping around and restaurants but the shop in TA is ridiculous, I mean I went into the shop and ask that I had a check engine light on on my truck . Then I ask do u charge any fee to check the check engine light on and yes they do . I ask how much then he said 100.00 to check Thats when I walk out I cant believe they charge so much to to check the engine light .. I mean it only a 10-15 min tips to let me know what it is I dont want them to fix it but I will never get any work there done. With those ridiculous prices they make up for a simple quick easy job

We didnt get gas. We are in a semi and have been to many many truck stops. Their pumps and card readers shut down while we were there. Staff was rude to customers. One staff member even told a customer she wasnt going to take any attitude from him. He didnt give her any attitude. Staff must need more training on customer service.

Good place. Small shops and food availability is limited. Easy get in and out especially for the truckers.

Decent TA. Lots of food options. Only fast food restaurants, but Dunkin Donuts is 24 hrs. There are Also plenty of Restaurant options within a ½ mile of this TA. Fair amount of parking, for this location size. But not enough parking for the number of trucks that pass by. Get there or call ahead early if you want a place to park.

Everything youd want at a truck stop. Plenty to choose from if hungry. Not really much healthy food though Im sure if you searched you could find something. Clean restrooms and nice employees.

Drivers beware if you try to use service in TA, I got appointment for truck one day before, at the next day after 3 hours waiting after appointment time they told me will take me ASAP, do not waisting your time to go at that TA service shop they lies and change personal often and nobody nothing knows about anything.

Sandy is the best, not just TA, but truck stop/travel center manager in the WHOLE NATION. Very helpful and very informative.

They have a nice, large parking lot, but I personally think they could do with reducing the number of paid parking spots. As far as inside goes, everyone I dealt with was prompt, professional, and courteous.

Clean showers and nice food court. Only complaint is shower​ was way too small. It was so compact that the items I had hanging on hooks got all wet from the water splashing from the shower and the entire floor was soaked.

This ta is really nice inside it has a dounkin donuts which is good for us fat people lol it also has well over 100 truck parking spaces bathroom was clean.

Good clean ta. As always too many reserved parking and Washer and dryer 3.00 now. Shortened time on dryers from 60 to 45 minutes. Nice and quiet good amount of parking and Wasnt tight. Just a shame these truckstops continue to bleed the truckers

Very clean and friendly staff. Lots of room so my 2 year old could get rid of some of his energy. Large grassy area for dogs as well
