West Coast sent out consultant Mike J. to assess our current environment plus listened to our complaints of our current system. Mike J. provided a small list of things that would improve our environment. We signed up and West Coast sent out a crew that used great care in setting up the environment to remove the existing systems and install the new systems. The installation was done with a high level of craftsmanship. The final outcome was working systems that exceeded out expectations, and it was completed on time as promised.

Id really simply like to give no stars but I cant do that. A technician came to do an annual check of my AC unit this morning. He determined that my r410a level was borderline but was still within operational limits. He then quoted me a price of $300 for 1 pound of refrigerant. I was absolutely dumbfounded that this company would charge this much so I sent the tech on his way. I found a 30 lb can of the same online for $139!! This company apparently does not understand how to retain customers. They did the initial installation but I will no longer do business with them.

When my gas monitors gave me a gas warning, SDG&E came out and told me I had a gas leak from my old furnace. I was going to call the people who installed my air conditioning a couple of years ago but noticed that their recent reviews were bad. I choose West Coast Heat, Air Conditioning and Solar because they had the best reviews. They did a great job, were very professional, proficient, fast and did a clean job. Their after service was great too! I requested an adjustment in the air flow and they came out the same day. The staff, Tony, Alic and the other guys are super guys who performed a great job. I highly recommend this company for your heating needs.

Leo, the general manager, is an engineer by training. He generated the quote and shared his direct cell for follow up questions. My project involved multiple phases. Their office support staff was superb; every step of the way the support staff were diligent about calling the day before to confirm, and it was very clear when installments would be due. I used West coast heating and air to install my air conditioner! I am so happy with service! I received a call about 20 minutes before the technician arrived, as was promised when the appointment was scheduled. The technician quickly identified the problem and gave me a good estimate, and even a discount. Everything works great and I am very satisfied. I would definitely hire West Coast again!

Dmitry, the technician, showed up on time. He was friendly and professional. He was wearing a mask following the CDC COVID regulations. He covered his shoes when entering my house. Dmitry turned on my A/C and then went outside and thoroughly checked the unit. He informed me that all measurements were fine but suggested that I might want to replace the “capacitor” because they wear out like car batteries. If the capacitor fails my A/C will not function. My unit is seven years old so had Dmitry replace the capacitor. The total bill was $250 which I thought was a little high but after doing some research, the price was about average. I like to do preventative maintenance.

The technician, Dimitri, was on time, at beginning of promised window, professional demeanor and clearly knowledgeable. He did what 7-8 technicians from five companies over the past 10 years had never been able to do, finding a small leak that has been there the whole time and has caused many, many service calls. I should have called West Coast sooner.

Tony from West Coast Heating, A/C and Solar came to our home today to perform an inspection of our heating and a/c system, as we recently moved into our home and wanted to make sure the system is in good shape. He thoroughly inspected the system and gave us a helpful summary and a few suggestions, which we appreciated. He was neat, polite, friendly, punctual and professional. I highly recommend both West Coast and Tony.

This operation is absolutely professional. They arrived on time, were extremely respectful and put down drop cloths up and down the stairs as well as covered all the furniture in my daughter’s bedroom since the AC unit was located outside her room.Glen, Igor and Nikolas worked from 8:30am-3:00pm and even cleaned up when they were done, vacuumed the floor and tidied up. These guys really go the extra mile and are in top of their game. They work well together and you’ll be impressed with the level of service you get with this company and these guys.

So Mike Anderson came out to my house and gave us an estimate about two years ago, he suggested us to replace the whole system, but back then we did not have the money so we went thru the bandage fixed, after 2 years, $2000 for the fixing plus all the headache, I called Mike, and he was very nice that after 2 years he still have my estimate on his file, and I know that everything went up since then, but he was still charging me the same price as he quoted for me 2 years ago.so September 8, 9, and 10th, 2020. as I am written this review, they just finished the installation at my house, I called them the Glenn team, they just left my house about half an hour ago. they are the best team, they all very professional and they are very good with their job. thank you West Coast. During a recent heatwave our air conditioner gave out (great timing for no air!). We called West Coast Heating and Air and made an appointment for them to come out in a couple of days. Tony, the repairman, was very professional and knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue. A part was required and because our air conditioner is several years old we thought it would take at least a week to receive.Not true: Tonys co-worker had just worked on the same model air conditioner and had the required part with him but was elsewhere. That same day Tony took the time to meet up with his co-worker, get the part, and then returned to our house to install it. We had air conditioning! We were very impressed with the time Tony took to repair our air conditioner and would highly recommend both he and West Coast Heating and Air.

Quick return calls and scheduling. I think the best part was the technician advising me NOT to purchase unnecessary items that really wouldnt do anything the lengthen the life or quality of my AC units. They fixed some leaks, charged them up, gave some advice for the future of the units, and was done in under an hour. Would highly recommend!

In July, West Coast replaced my old central heater with a new Trane HVAC system and also installed a small solar system. I had three HVAC bids and over 7 solar companies give bids. I usually trust Costco but even with their 15% rebate program, the quote for the similar Lennox system from their heavy advertising local company was more than 50% higher than West Coast!! Ouch. I have a 1950s home that never had A/C. Mike J. gave a complete quote, easy to read & understand with no high pressure sales or financing pitch. The gals in the office, Gabby, Carly are a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgable about the process (permitting, scheduling, even system operation!). The installation crew did a good job, I was a little worried about my beautiful plaster ceilings (they had to cut new vent holes for the new ducts) but everything went smoothly and in two days I had a new system w/Nest thermostat installed. Alex P was fantastic to deal with, his attention to detail was superb. I would highly recommend you give West Coast an opportunity to give you a bid and perform your service/installation. The A/C has been running non-stop this week and Im very, very satisfied.

Tony came over today and did our first service on our West Coast installed HVAC system. Appointment went perfectly, good communication from the scheduling team. Prompt, thorough service from Tony, I highly recommend.

The service and quality of everyone on the team, from Leo at the start, to the technicians who installed, to the service over the phone for a small concern-temperature calibration of the unit was stellar. The inspection test had only 8% leakage, which is better than most per the independent inspector (15% acceptable by State standard). The independent inspector, and everyone has seen the new furnace and AC has commented about how nice the new equipment looks, and I can attest that the high efficiency system we bought is very quiet, has great airflow, and meets all our expectations. Part of our job involved replacing the attic duct-work, and I can notice that this airflow is now getting to our rooms instead of heating and cooling the attic. The team also cleaned up nicely and was careful not to damage the wooden rail in between the front door and the furnace closet upstairs. They showed up on-time and didnt quit until the job was done. Its always disappointing when you can see someone trying to finish in a hurry to get home, cutting quality; I did not see that in this job and I was very impressed with everyone from West Coast. Weve had our solar system installed by West Coast for about 4 years now. From the outset, the service has been outstanding. I think you expect it when a company is installing and earning your business at the outset, but this companys commitment to long term relationships is exceptional. I just got a call the other day from Leo who was our sales consultant from the beginning to let me know that he noticed that something was wrong with our system. He asked if he could come and check the system out, and found we had a faulty inverter. He followed up to let me know that he had placed an order for a new one and would take care of it. Leo caught it before I even knew anything was wrong, and I didnt have to lift a finger. The calls to check back on us to ensure that we were well cared for just go above and beyond. Its this kind of service long term that really motivated me to write this review, as you dont really find that kind of commitment out of many companies it seems. They dont have to continue to make my life easy, but they do. Ive referred several friends to them and every one of them have had a similarly outstanding experience. Highly recommend West Coast.

Fantastic experience working with the West Coast team! I interviewed 5 different companies but went with West Coast; first because of price, but more importantly for quality design and attention to detail. They were very focused on making the system as efficient as possible and arranged the solar panels on three different roof sections to get the best sun coverage. Completely disappointed we have two technicians looking at our A/C. They were in and out within 5 minutes of “fixing the problem”. They only came into out home to up sale on larger vents that we don’t need. Our A/C now has not work for the past few weeks. I have tried to contact them but they briefly hung up.

I was really surprised how many super obvious problems and deficiencies my regular heating and a/c company never pointed out. But after a routine service, West Coast showed me all that was wrong with my systems, which explains why it never worked well.Today Alex and Vic came out and worked so hard all day, replacing ducting, plugging holes, and remounting my A/C unit. They were very professional and polite. Im looking forward to a much more efficient system.

I received multiple quotes from various HVAC companies through an online review site. West Coast had the most compeitive pricing, they were responsive to all my communication, they provided a bid remotely and ended up actually charging us that amount after they viewed the furnace in person and confirmed it was what we expected. They also arrived on time and used good technology. I would recommend them.

These guys are still the best! After 10+ years of service, our upstairs unit quit cooling. Alex Pod came out, fixed a coolant leak yesterday and all is working again!Im really impressed that Alex is doing service calls: thats real involvement in your business, leading by example and doing the work!We chose West Coast to install our system ten years ago, and we will call them again if we need repair or replacement. I replaced my old AC system and I thought West Coast was excellent. They did a thorough job explaining everything during the estimate and installation. Nick and his team did my installation and they were efficient (its not a quick job). The office support team was also very helpful the couple of times I had to call in with questions. I would highly recommend them.
