Amazing! I got the pleasure of working with Mark, and he went above and beyond for me. I had several things done including tires put on my car, and it was all done the same day! I was expecting my car to be there for a couple days, but I was happily wrong. The cost for everything done was also a lot less than I expected. This will definitely be where I go from now on. I couldn’t be happier.

Mike and Steve are the BEST mechanics I have ever worked with. Have had brakes done last year: Price was incredible! Just had a noise which they identified the problem, gave me a great estimate and the work was done in less than 3 hours at the quoted price. (This was a motor mount and axle problem.) The are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and their prices are outstanding. This is the BEST place to go in east county.

Honest shop, great guys. My college-student step-daughter took her car to East County Tire & Brake and they did diagnostics, found it was transmission concern, referred us to a great shop and didnt charge her. Ive also had several repairs done there and always found them to be reliable, honest, affordable, and offering good quality.

Im not sure if East County Tire and Brake on Broadway in El Cajon is permanently or temporarily closed.I went there after 10:00 AM on Monday, Sep 21st to drop off a vehicle for brake inspection and repair.There is a 3 x 3 (roughly) piece of plywood in the front window with CLOSED in large letters, and the telephone rings once and then disconnects when I call the business phone number.At least one light was on in the office, but the door was locked and nobody was on the premises.

This place is absolutely Amazing!! I needed a full set of tires and new breaks and they were able to get the job done swiftly! They even came to pick me up so I could drive my car home when I wasnt able to get a ride there, thats going above and beyond in my book. WENT HERE TODAY BECAUSE I WAS QUOTED 179.95 FOR REAR PADS AND ROTERS .THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD DEAL . RECEIVED A CALL FROM STEVE 10 MINUTES AFTER I DROPPED THE CAR OFF IT WAS NOW OVER 600.00 .. TOLD HIM NO I COULDNT DO THAT JUST DO BACK PADS AND ROTER. 7 MINUTES LATER I CALLED AND SPOKE TO MARK TOLD HIM I DID NOT WANT TO DO THE JOB TODAY AND WAS COMING TO PICK UP CAR . HE SAID HE WOULD TELL STEVE RIGHT AWAY .. SO I GET BACK THERE WAITED 20 MINUTES FOR MY CAR AND NOTHING .. I WENT BACK THERE AND STEVE WAS ALMOST DONE. I TOLD HIM I CALLED AND SPOKE TO MARK AND TOLD HIM NOT TO DO THE JOB.. WELL MARK NEVER TOLD STEVE AND HE WAS ALMOST DONE.. WHAT COULD I DO THEN......i PAID THE BILL OF 293.28 WHICH I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR . I THINK THEY SHOULD COMPENSATE ME 1/2 BECAUSE I DID CALL AND CANCEL THE JOB .. IT IS NOT MY FAULT HIS EMPLOYEE DID NOT TELL HIM .. I WENT THERE BECAUSE THEY HAVE 5 STARS. I DO BELEIVE THIS WAS THERE MISTAKE NOT MINE I HAVE COPIES OF THE PHONE CALLS SO I AM NOT MAKING THIS UPNEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS ALITTLE DISAPPOINTED TODAY. HALF OF ME WANTS TO STOP PAYMENT .
