Untrustworthy and predatory mechanic! My mother took her car in for diagnostic due to misfiring cylinder. The mechanics at this shop told her it was a “cracked head gasket” that the block may have “warped” due to mileage, they recommend complete engine swap, total price $1,600.I took the car to the dealership for a second opinion, after several test it was determined the head gasket was fine, the car needed a valve adjustment and new spark plugs, total cost $360.SM automotive lied, didn’t run the proper test to determine the issue, and recommended completely unnecessary fixes at high cost. I would steer clear and find a more trustworthy option.
