Frank is the best come to JC Auto repair it is right off of West main Street,we have taken our Mazda MP3 minivan, Dodge caliber, Honda minivan and many others one of our friends even uses him for his fleet of about 8 to 15 trucks,weve been coming here for about 6 years my mom always brings her Hyundai Elantra here and her whole family has come to rely on Frank for quality service,The good thing is if Frank sees a problem that is outside of his service specialties he will always refer you to one of his friends that will take good care of you,If youre coming from Alpine on the 8 West take the East main exit and when you get to the light you will see JC Auto directly in front of you pull in and tell him that Charlie sent you,If youre coming from the beach or from la Mesa and youre on the eight East take 2nd Street exit and turn right then make your first left on Madison take Madison all the way down to East main turn left on East main and you will see JC Auto on the left in about two blocks,Anytime I get an estimate from another mechanic for some reason and I ask Frank its always about 20 to 30% less for Frank to do the job,For instance my Mazda MP3 minivan that I use for work had the driver window that has been sealed in place for five years because the last time I got an estimate they wanted $580 to fix a power window,Frank did it for less than half of that and it only took him one day,The same van needed some air conditioning fixed and for under 200 bucks I was able to get it all renewed,it would only have costed me about 50 bucks if it only needed a recharge but since the whole AC unit had to be replaced or whatever the job was it was a little bit more,Anyway come on down to JC Auto and join the family!

I have been taking our vehicles to JCs for many years now. He is honest, fair and reliable and will tell you if a repair is a necessity or if its something that can wait. My daughter takes her car there and my granddaughter has started to take her car there. He is quite busy these days so an appointment is recommended.

This is just my second visit here, but as far as Im concerned, Frank is my mechanic for the duration! He tells you what your car needs without throwing anything in that it doesnt, gives you updates on the progress and charges reasonable fees for his work. I highly recommend JC Auto!

IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A NEW MECHANIC AND I FOUND HIM! My car broke down a block away and he fixed it quickly with a nominal charge. My car over heated about 500 feet from the shop. I called my mom to pick me up but while I was waiting, I walked over to the shop and the mechanic (Im so sorry I didnt get his name. I believe he is the manager) walked back to the car with me and had me bring it in to the shop. Long story short he had to replace a hose and sensor and did not try to tell me I had a million other things wrong with my car. His shop did not appear on Google Maps so I took a couple pictures, sent the location to Google, and now it does! It deserves to be. Im very discerning and I can tell this is an honest shop and I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, honest, good mechanic. Since Ive been back to San Diego last June Ive been looking for one so Im pretty stoked. Highly highly recommend.

I drove up with my1 2011 honda told him what was going on with the car Frank knew right away even before he ran diagnostics. He was right!! He gave me qoute and best parts an warranty honest knowledgeable fasst service was back home 2 hrs later went to pu and here is the real kicker he cleaned my headlights like new!! Really who would do that!! Ty my mechanic!! Go there you will be pleased
