We went in for the first time. Upon us entering the store, we noticed the female cashier/clerk was waiting on a customer. After they left, clerk acknowledge us and greeted us. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Provide feedback and recommended certain brands.
This was a totally different store in the empure family of stores. I was very dissapounted upon the first moment as i had gotten directions for the store via another location and when i couldnt locate it inside the mall haven already driven way out of way to make a return when i called for location from inside the mall i mentioned i had a return and i was tryi g to find them . i was told they do not return hair products which was a completly different reaction than i exppected as all the other locations that i have been a customer of had no problem at all returning hair products if they did not work for my hair as in shampoo or conditioners . i asked if this was owned by the same owners or franchised i was told same family and i explained that the other stores do returns and i of course had my receipt toboot the clerk said that she would take a look at it and i said OK .When i arrived she seemed a bit hesitant as she said her manager has said no returns on products for hair but then she opened the bottles and said no she couldnt return the items i said why not she said they are over half used and i said let me look and i did they were above the halfway line and i said so . Then she tried to do it but the register seemed to be having trouble and then i suggested calling another store maybe a manager could be reached as hers evidently wasnt answering now and said to her that she would have to do it or that more specifically she wasnt allowing the clerk to do it and yet she was not going to be in until the next day. Anyway the clerk spoke to the other girl who had the knowhow to do the return asked her a couple questions as in is there multiple items on receipt answer was yes ihad spemt 225 at the visit to which the receipt was in question and then the clerk handed me the phone and said its really up to the person who is at the store and then i asked her if she would not mind if i got a thiird party that was in store patiently waiting as i was when the clerk was helping others in between handling my stuff or seeming to ...and the woan said she didnt mind at all looked at the product and daod it had over half product in the container still and then sorry thats when the clerk talked to her and then handed me the phone . And thats when she told me up to that person who was working.That is when the clerk said that it was the manager that was not willing to have my return done and wasno longer reachable that she would be in in the morning.The other store was closed and the clerk said i could go there amd she would have a look and of course i could also go to the store where i purchased.Over all i was very dissapointed and went out of my way to that mall in gas and probably spent 1.5 hours in total once i parked at the mall getting no where.That is it . Otherwise i have had great experiences at Empire and also i left my contact details for the higher ups to be reached as the clerk only gave me a return call option versus a number where i could call to let upper management know of my experiemce and hopefully be compensated or some changes made to that stores reaction and manager results that would be more aligned to proper customer service in the immediate future.
This particular store did not take back a basic return of mine . The clerk was no returns WHEN I CALLED for sirections when in the mall. Other locations do returns no problem whixh is great because the products are guarenteed or can return .She said it was over halfway used. When i got there i even had another customer chexk yep over halfway not under. Then the manager told her on the phone that she would have to check it out amd she was not even there went way out of my way yo get to this store amd very disappointing as to the time in finding the time in the huge slow process only to be turned away .Family owmed biz they say. This one must be the red headed stepchils or ogre store! 😜
I recommend this place. They will make ur hair shine and come back a live..love it
Prices are OUTRAGEOUS and the communication was very poor. I suggest going elsewhere like upper level day spa, theyre twice as cheap and do a terrific job. They even treat their clients to bottled water, Aroma therapy like waiting room, and a very MATURE staff.
Not even worth one star. U said u would close in 10 min. I rush I still had 7 min to spare and u close the store
