I would give zero if i could. The workers lie to their customers when they call about a product and then you come in store and its right there in their face. Not only that but they are incredibly rude and mocking. I went on Tuesday night and a male employee refused to sell me something that was put on the floor. This is the 2nd time this happened and im astounded by the fact these people treat customers this way. The first time it happened I remember someone there by the name of Lance. If a product is unboxed and out on the floor then they have to sell it. If they didnt want to sell something dont even put it out, its that simple. Never coming back here again and I hope no one else goes too.
I dont understand the low reviews of this particular Walgreens. I have been coming here for many years, and the staff is always helpful. One of the managers in particular, Eloy, is the friendliest and most helpful person you could ask for. Everyone else really seems to go out of their way as well.

Don’t even bother coming to the pharmacy here. an absolute joke. waited 35 minutes just to check in for my covid vaccine & waited another 30 just to get it. you can tell everyone else in here feels the same exact way as well. absolutely ridiculous.
All I have to say is Ill come back just for the Manager Kelly. I was having the hardest time with photos online and I called the store and spoke to Kelly. She was so helpful and answered all my questions I had. Then when I went to the store to pick them up later she was so sweet and remembered me!! NOW THATS GOOD COSTUMER SERVICE!
I had a terrible in-store experience today 12/11/2020 around 2:30pm. This review is towards the store manager. When you are hiring other managers. Please make sure their trained and knowledgeable of your products and guidelines. So there is no misinformation. My review is for the Manager Kelly who I spoke with over the phone today regarding a passport photo and the pricing. I came to the store to purchase a photo and was given false information from the store manager who happened to be going on lunch when I got there. The young African American woman who they had to assist me was very helpful and handle the situation well. I want to thank her for her patience with me.
WORST. PHARMACY. EVER! Dropped off prescriptions for my husbands heart at 3pm. Was told it would be ready in 2 hours. Now, going on 8pm, STILL working on them. REALLY???!!! May need an ER visit just to get his medication now!! Thanks alot. Already had open heart surgery once...
Do not buy your prescriptions from this walgreens. Ive never experienced more caustic attitudes from a pharmacy. I provided them a good rx coupon which placed my med at 16 dollars. They charged me 60, without my knowledge, and informed me, upon reviewing my receipt, that there was nothing they could do to override the price recommending I call good rx. I called good rx who in turn called walgreens to discuss the impass. The price was then corrected and I was welcomed back to purchase the medication for 16 dollars. It was at that time informed the pharmacy rep that I located the medication price at Albertsons for 11 and would appreciate her overriding the price, as a courtesy for my troubles and hours spent addressing their system issues, and she said that I could come in and that a manager would approve it. I came in to the store and the pharmacy manager was extremely rude and yelled at me that he was never giving me this price again. I was so taken back by his actions and he was the manager ! I informed him I would never return to his shop in the future. Later that day, now about two weeks ago, I called their store manager, Lance, and informed him of my experience offering him an opportunity to investigate the transaction and resolve my concerns. He did not apologize but did take my phone number and assured me that be would look into it and call me back. As you can probably expect I never heard back from Lance or any other representative. This location should be ashamed of themselves and stealing money. I can imagine a majority of their clientele are seniors and I have no doubt that they take advantage of them on a daily basis. Im disappointed in you and expect better.
I come a long ways to this store, I live way out in the country. On this day I need to use the restroom. I found a lock on the door, looking for a person working they said they had to ask a manager bro use the restroom he said NO. When I asked you said I didnt have to tell at him. I believe he was very thoughtless, and rude.Why are all the restrooms closed? Did people stop having to need one? Why does one Walgreens have it open and two blocks down the road its closes.
I waited in line 15 minutes with only 1 associate working. The line was through the entire store with customers asking what was wrong! On a friday night! NO!

The cereal boxes were in. Box clearly marked 2 for 5$. Below on another signage it said 2 for 7. I let the manager know about the discrepancy and she brushed it off saying, It doesnt matter. I told her no it does matter come look at it. She refused to come look at it and then if you can believe this- refused to sell me the popsicles I was already at the counter with. Unprofessional in every way. Iirc this same manager had some kind of attitude on a previous visit though I dont remember what about.
When the pharmacy doesn’t refill your prescription correctly and you sit on hold for over an hour. Instead of picking up the phone they don’t say a word and continue to put you on hold.Update: Called back at 4am issue resolved. This is the second time this pharmacist corrected an issue, happy about that.
Very rude, and when I picked up they told me 2 wait for wait 20 more minutes, when I had called an hour and a half earlier so disappointed 🤬
WORSE SERVICE ALWAYS!!! I wish they would hire people who speak english. I get they need people to speak multiple languages but if they do not have a grasp on the English language it’s horrible and makes one want to punch something!

Very disappointed with the pharmacy. They’ve been holding onto a prescription that is needed for a life threatening condition for over a week. When I called to see if I had any refills I was informed not only have they had the prescription for 10 days I needed a pre-authorization.
Worst pharmacy ever. If I could give 0 stars I would. Took over a month for them to fill my husband’s prescription. They refilled the old one 7 days after receiving the new one instead of filling the new one. Turns out the new one needed prior authorization from the insurance but rather than contacting the dr they just kept having different people tell us different things. Finally one month after the prescription was sent I talked to someone who actually contacted the doctor. Meta was her name and she has been the only helpful and decent person there. We actually went there twice after being told when we could pick it up only to be told both times when we got there no we needed the authorization—but NO ONE contacted the dr like they should have until Meta did. 5 days later we received a call from the insurance that it was approved. When I called again the tech immediately told me no we can’t get it because it hadn’t been approved. I told her it had and then suddenly she was in the process of filling it. It s the pharmacy’ s Responsibility to be resubmitting the prescription they have requested an approval for. I will be working on convincing my husband to transfer her medications elsewhere where they actually care about the customers receiving their needed medications
Slowest possible service I have ever almost had. I arrived March 8th at 9:00 a.m. looking for a propane exchange after waiting around for 30 minutes nobody came to help me even the multiple people were called and I gave up and went somewhere else. Everybody in that store seems to need a giant cup of coffee and to pull the lead out of their shoes

I visited this store today Jan 26 2021 at 9:35 pm. The staff in this store refused to help me to find the items what I was looking for. Bad dealing. I decided to not go to this store because of that.
It depends to what we need, for medicines, this store is not bad at all. But for groceries, they have limited varieties. Always check their flyers, they frequently offer good prices especially beverages.
Every single employee that I have ever dealt with in that place have consistently been the nicest, most helpful people.Its open 24 hrs/day, wide aisles and brightly lit. Their shelves are always fully stocked.Ive never waited more than a few minutes to check out. If more than 3 or 4 people start to stack up at the register, either the manager or one of the other employees jumps on another register without ever having to be called.
The pharmacy never has your meds ready when theyre supposed to be. Ive in advance multiple times, for small amounts of non narcotic medications and when I got there it wasnt even ready. Either hire more people or train your people better.

Waited in line for at least 10 mins being the only one in the whole store, Leticia(a manager) comes and says she didnt see me at her register... Like how the heck am I supposed to know which one is ur register!?! She was so rude about it!never coming back
The pharmacy is the worst pharmacy every poor customer service waiting for more than 45 minuets and then the lady said why you did not give the insurance card to the lady! How I know what they need and then another 30 minuets waiting. The pharmacy technician doesn’t know anything about anything I tried to ask for her name and no answer, save your time and don’t stop by.
Great service, multi-lingual, the pharmacy works hard to accommodate us. We love having Christmas cards made for my mother every year!!
Service here is literal trash. Customer service is the worst that it can ever be. I have worked in retail my whole life and I never give bad attitude to people for no reason. I even witnessed the pharmacy employees being rude to customers. On top of it, the place is always understaffed and slow... very disappointing... the bad reviews all just say it all so its not just me🤷🏽♀️

While admittedly I have had awful service there in the past, it appears they have hired new people and have made great improvements in service.
After waiting for 4 hours for a very important heart medication for my 6 month old baby just out of open heart surgery they tell me, were out of stock. this is after the one on genesee closed super early and refused to fax over the script to this one, finally they faxed it to cvs so i can pay full price and wait 5 minutes. never will any walgreens EVER get a dime of my money again. Im so upset right now.
Only been twice and both times they said my prescription would be ready in an hour. Both times Ive shown up they dont have the prescription ready and tell me to come back in 30 min to an hour. So frustrating. They dont seem to care at the fact that its not even ready. Their excuse both times have been sorry we got busy. Pathetic.

AND SHE ACTUALLY TOLD ME TO COME BACK AT 8 WHICH IS 2 MORE HOURS OR GO BACK TO THE STORE WHERE I ORIGINALLY PURCHASE WHICH IS 20 MILES AWAY. AND ITS MY FIRST TIME TO COME TO THIS STORE .
The worst pharmacy ever I asked for a medicine that is so important and because I was in the emergency sleeping last night, and they were rude, and unpolite. Not even caring about my health, and not being fast. The medicine was available there and there is no need to make me wait over there and I was in pain. I am 100% that I’m going to change my pharmacy to another one and most people should change it too.

Every single time I fill a prescription here it takes 2-3 hours. Usually closer to the 3 hour mark. Forget going to the drive thru because it will take 20-30 minutes before you are even seen. This is ridiculous. Not to mention the last time I went to the drive thru, the technician was super rude. I believe her name was Q. Never going back.

Worst experience with a pharmacy! Not only did they neglect to follow-up on transferring my prescriptions to their pharmacy, I waited in their drive-thru for close to 1 hour only to be told to call them in an hour! I called them 1 1/2 hours later, and they still didnt have my prescription ready! Whats worse is when I went to CVS (the pharmacy I have been using) because I need my prescriptions now, CVS informed me they already transferred my prescriptions to Walgreens and would now have to wait to have the prescriptions transferred BACK to CVS! IM NEVER GOING TO WALGREENS AGAIN! ON TOP OF ALL THAT, THEYRE SETTLING A FRAUD CASE WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR OVERCHARGING ON PRESCRIPTIONS AND BILLING FOR MEDICAL PRODUCTS NOT DELIVERED TO CUSTOMERS! GOOD RIDDANCE, WALGREENS!

Worst pharmacy everI gave the prescription to them for my baby and they said I have to go to cvs because they don’t take MolinaI went to cvs and they had to call them to fax the pescription and they said they were in lunch for 1 hour after that we called they put us on hold for another 1 hour and my baby daughter was dying from pain (fever and ear infection) then I had to drive all the way to them but they said they just send the prescription (after 2 hours and half) then they had to call cvs back and they told me to wait I waited for 30 minute and they said oh they are not answering but I called cvs from my phone and they answered just fine I told they so they got mad because I knew they were not callingFinally I waited for it to be ready for an hourThey are so rude and had very bad customer service
I was at welgreens at 215 n 2 nd st, el cajon ca 92021 to buy some rolls of toilet paper the ones on sale for 10 rolls $5.oo and the cashier calld the supervisor and he told me that he could only sale me 4 rolls because he wanted to make sure that other customers get some to welgreens need to change that price because i see it as a false advertising and i already told all my friends and family and they all told me they will never go there 10-16 2018
Every time Ive gone through the drive through pharmacy there has been a problem. The last straw was when I dropped off a prescription and when I went back 3 days later the prescription was never scanned in. I took my prescription to CVS and had way better and faster service. I dont care how much cheaper Walgreens is, Im never going back to the 2nd st El Cajon pharmacy.
Their photo center has never screwed up any of our orders. They are efficient and prompt.
No improvement since last visit. 😒🖓...Its Friday 9:57pm. Im only here for milk & pizza. 2 items! None of the self-check lines are open, the only (3) isles available have long lines. They were just about to close one of them too. People traffic is crazy. Everyone is complaining. Its been a week since I last visited here, and there has been absolutely no improvement. This Wal Mart sucks big time. Why arent the self chwck-out lines open to help shorten the lines? Why hasnt Debra (management) done something about the wait? Who is this manager anyway? I go to pick my prescription and I am told I have no prescription ready, and on top I have to wait for 45 mins. This place is a joke....my wife called in a perscription to be filled and they told her they would fill it....when i got there to pick it up for her they didnt have it in stock...everytime its something new with these people....
In addition to the slow pharmacy and the lack of help staff on the floor area, this place has become a bummin station for the local homeless. My last three visits have included a smelly homeless person asking about any spare change? Maybe the staff is afraid to chase them away.... but they have chased away a customer.

One of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever been to. Drop off request and they tell me to come back in one hour and half. I come back two hours later and prescription still not ready. As I’m writing this review I’m still waiting and I’ve been here for 20 minutes.
