I told the service advisor, Erick, that the particulate mater sensor was not working and the check engine light was on. The sensor was replaced. The sensor cost $293.84 and labor $450. I also had the transmission oil and filter replaced for $159.95 . I asked several times if they couldnt fix my hands free dialing on my radio. They did not fix it. Erick said that they dont know how to fix it but will look into it and get back to me.
Erick was very helpful. He checked in my vehicle quickly. He told me he would call me when it was done. He said it would take about 1.5hrs after I asked him when I would expect the call back from him. He did as he said and called me just before the 1.5hrs mark. This was exceptional as in my past experience, I do not get a call until 20-30mins before closing time even after leaving my vehicle in the morning for the same service.
Ruben the service writer was friendly and knowledgeable about the recall my truck needed. After I dropped it off he was able to complete it even faster than expected which worked out perfectly because i was going to need my truck for lunch time.
I was visiting your area and for some unknown reason my drive line U-Joint broke on my newer GMC truck. A big surprise for a 3500. This dealership got me right in ordered the parts and had it fixed in 4 days. A holiday weekend too. The service manager was great and the service rep was friendly and helpful. The only things lacking was no loaner car available for a warrantee repair so I spent a couple hundred dollars on a rental car. Also status communication could have been better, I didnt hear what was going on for 3 days so I finally had to call. The cause of the failure was never found so that is very concerning.Keith Daniels
Robert was great, Ive been at this dealership before (when Robert was not there) and the service advisors were not as helpful as Robert was. Most of my visits to the dealership are less than great. Robert changed that. the cost of getting my issue fix, was very expensive in my opinion, but the service itself was very good.
Shoppers beware went in today to purchase a vehicle, first they provided me with a low ball offer on my trade in and wouldn’t budget on the price of the vehicle I wanted to purchase. Seems like they don’t want any haggling with the vehicles and prices on the vehicles are final. Took my business to Upland Ca for a brand new 2021 Tahoe and they were very nice over the phone and provided me with the help I needed to buy a car off there lot.

None of your employees were observing YOUR OWN mask mandates and they certainly weren’t asking clients to mask up.. In fact, I refused to talk w/ your service rep inside his office and insisted that we do business outside. Inexcusable lack of care and concern during these VERY dangerous times.

CHOOSING IMPERIAL VALLEY CHEVROLET WAS ABSOLUTELY MY FIRST WORST DECISION FOR THE 2020 NEW YEAR. Let me start off by saying that I purchased my first brand new vehicle from this place and have since then purchased a total of three brand new vehicles and one used vehicle from these guys over the years. My last two vehicles that I purchased were high priced GMC Yukons for my wife. Due to the fact that my Yukons have for the most part been problem free, I never really had to deal with the service department. UNTIL NOW. My Yukon had some steering issues and I foolishly decided to chose Imperial Valley Auto Service Department as my place for repairs. I had previously replaced many parts hoping to fix my steering issues until I took the vehicle to them. I let them know what I needed and they first informed me that they couldnt see my vehicle that day and would have to keep it over the weekend until Monday, which I was okay with. I understand that they are a busy high volume business. Well, come Monday I received a quote for the total repair estimated cost. DEAR LORD WAS I SHOCKED. I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE OUT A SECOND ON MY HOME TO PAY THESE GUYS. Thats all fine and dandy if the charges were legitimate, but unfortunately they were not. I had already replaced most of the items they were trying to charge me for and on top of that they wanted to charge me $360 to simply look at my vehicle. So even if I chose to take my vehicle to another mechanic which I should of done in the first place, I still had to pay these guys $360 for nothing. We all learn from our mistakes. And my biggest mistake from this experience was trusting Imperial Valley Chevrolet with my vehicle. They treat you amazing at first to make the sale, but if you need to repair your vehicle HOLD ON FOR A ROUGH RIDE ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK. On a good note, most of the staff are for the most part polite and they did have some very delicious chocolate chip cookies available while you wait for your HUGE INVOICE TO EMPTY YOUR WALLET. I will end on this note, IMPERIAL VALLEY CHEVROLET WILL NO LONGER HAVE MY FUTURE BUSINESS ON ANY VEHICLE PURCHASES. MY HUGE FAMILY AND ALL MY FRIENDS WILL NO LONGER GET MY RECOMMENDATION TO IMPERIAL VALLEY CHEVROLET LIKE THEY HAVE IN THE PAST. THEY WILL ALL KNOW OF OUR EXPERIENCE AND WILL CHOOSE TO TAKE THEIR BUSINESS OVER THE MOUNTAINS TO SAN DIEGO OR EVEN BETTER DEALS TO LOS ANGELES. Thank you for reading!

Purchased a vehicle during the pandemic. They offered to deliver it. They delivered it with parts missing and concealed it from me. Have spent more than 3 months trying to get them to send me the missing parts and they still have not delivered.Update: Worthless auto response below. They are so Bad I don’t understand how could they call them self mechanics I took my 2009 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid and they couldn’t find the problem until I told them I wasn’t going to be paying every time I took it in for the same problem they put a different cover on the covering of my motor they left my windshield water container all loose and the lines are all over the place my Cadillac wasn’t like this and to top it off the guy that helped me told me that I should just get something new cause my car is to old and the only problem I had that I took it in was because my dashboard displayed service hybrid system

Service rating (idk about sales) but service is technically not the worst out there but when Im having to take my truck in 4 times for the same issue it would be 4 times in 1 week but cause of weekend and holidays. The employees seem nice but idk what it is but they didnt even look at part of the problem the first 3 times according to the paperwork and then when I got my truck back last time they took it for a test drive (Im OK with that) but they brought it back on e with less than 3 miles (estimated by truck) till true empty and smelling like smoke. Not happy.

When I arrived my service advisor, Ruben Mokay meant me on the service drive. Quick and easy. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle it was waiting for me on the service drive and Ruben had my paperwork ready for me. Awesome employees.
I walked in looking to buy a new truck. The sales representative that helped me was more than helpful (Jesus M.), I have nothing bad to say about him. He was very knowledgeable and did his best to help me. A truck that was on the way to the dealership was shown to me and I liked it. Due to my credit I knew I was going to have to give a good down payment and I did. I was there the first week of May, my paperwork was in one of the finance department offices (Eli’s office) for days until a better finance representative (Ruben) ended up picking up my paperwork and finished the process. I signed the paperwork, went home with my brand new 2021 Chevy Silverado. It wasn’t until I tried to make my first payment that the bank told me I wasn’t in the system to contact the dealership, which I did. I was then told that I needed to go back in, that the bank was asking for my bank statements since I was self employed, so I did. At this time I started dealing with another finance agent, I was told the bank had backtracked and did not fund my loan, that they were looking at other options. I was told they had found another bank, but they were asking for more money down. I said I could not give the amount they were asking for, at this time I was in finance agent Jeffs office. He then said, well you dont have a choice you either come up with the money or we are taking the truck back. By this time I already had the truck for a month and I had added a bed liner. I tried to explain to him that I had already given a good downpayment to begin with, I even agreed to give 50% of the extra amount he was asking for and again he said “that’s not gonna work, you either try to husttle the other half or we take the truck back.” Before going back in to the dealership I was already told what the bank was asking, which was nothing like Jeff was saying. But, since he felt they were gonna take a loss, he did not want to work with me. Having the truck already for a month and my family and I loved it, I had no choice but to pay the extra amount they were asking for. I asked to come back the next day to finish the deal so that I could consult with an attorney and again I was threatened with “it’s your choice, just know that we can also repo the truck from your driveway.”I give props to the sales rep that helped me. But when it comes to your finance department, you guys could be making many more deals if the finance agents were more focused on getting paperwork done on time and right the first time. Also some customer service training would greatly help them too. Teach them not to talk down to customers, not to corner them against the wall, instead look for options, at least pretend that you care regardless of who you’re dealing with.My rate for your dealership:Jesus M. Top of the line service department. Carlos worked with my busy schedule and took care of my vehicle. Fully stocked auto parts department too. Open Monday through Saturday. Excellent hours.
Initially, there was no where to park, line of cars for service department extended all the way to street. Waited 40 minutes to be assisted at service department for pre-scheduled service appointment. No status call on vehicle regardless that appointment was scheduled for 10:20am. I ended up calling for status and vehicle was ready until 5pm. Oil change reset was not completed and notice still appears on vehicle and service was completed at your dealership. I was still charged for all services even though a prepaid service contract agreement is active. Called to dispute and was not answered, called 15 times to tell me that it was covered only to find out they were still charging for partial services.
The work requested was fine in the attention of the staff, it was fine, but I have learned that after doing the requested service they wash the car from the outside and in my case it was not like that.

Went in and the receptionist not only was she a bit rude, she was eating wings with her bare hands and no mask.... At her desk.While making personal video calls or something.I had to wait to ask where to go for service.. Dont know her name but it was a shorter darker Hispanic girl. Right when I walked in I just felt a gross. Work on your appearance and staff. Really bad impression.

Repairs took too long (3 weeks). This is an ongoing problem, windows keep falling into the door. This has happened numerous times on all 4 doors of this car.

Made appointment for oil change & stated Id be waiting for for truck when I dropped it off. When dropping the truck off the guy working said it will be 3-4 hours before it will be ready explained I had appointment at 11:20 stated that they had all of theses other vehicles in front of me. Said no I had appointment, he said no thats not how it works here. Why would they schedule you appointment if they arent going to follow it. Left without getting oil changed. Worst Customer Service ever.

Not a good experience. I made an appointment for service and was told my car would be ready before noon, I was called at 4:30 to pick up my vehicle. The dirty grease marks were noticeable throughout the vehicle, I had just cleaned it that morning.
My car broke down on the way to San Diego and I was towed to this dealership and everyone was super helpful and understanding of my situation and they got to work right away to fix my clutch and had it done for me within 48 hours without appointment and got me back home.

A month ago we drove 12 hours to pick up or new truck. Not much hassle when dealing with Cameron. Once we arrived we dealt with Miguel. Miguels was and continues to be very professional and helpful. Miguel checked up on us days later to see if we had any questions since it was our first time owning a diesel vehicle. We continue to keep in contact and has earned my respect since we met him. I brought my car here because it is the only Chevy dealership in the Imperial Valley. The associate Rosie was horrible. She had no communication skills between the adjustor and I. I simply asked her to take some pictures for the adjustor and she told me to take them. What type of service is that. They had my car for over a month when the problem should have been solved much quicker. The dealership service department never picks up the phone. I understand they are understaffed due to Covid but having a car at a dealership for over a month. Wouldnt you think they would want it out of their shop. They changed my ignition cylinder and gave me one key. One key. I have had a cylinder replaced with Volkswagen and they gave me two keys. They did the bare minimum on my car and wanted to charge me for the installation of the plastic panels. It is not that difficult but it is the principle that they lack.
Just purchased a Malibu, Great and Friendly staff! The Sales team was amazing from the Sales person and porter to the Finance team. The process was so smooth it was unbelievable! Best in the valley! I highly recommend!

We purchased a 2020 Equinox from them. That all went well. When we found our our lug key was missing I called 5 times for a month to speak with the sales manager spoke to him on the 2nd call said he would mail it to us since we live 2 hours away. Nothing in 2 wks. Called back 3 more times and to date no return call.Can’t rotate tires without it. They suck for any after purchase help!!!!!!
I had an appointment at 10:20am on monday for an oil change and tire rotation. I was very disappointed as soon as I got there they told me it will be done till 2:00pm to 2:30pm. I said wow but accepted I left and came back at 2:30pm and my truck was not even started with.it got finished till 4:00pm. And when I got my truck it had no sticker to tell me when my next oil change is due or they didnt even tell me anything they just charged me and didnt tell me if everything was good or anything.This was my first time their taking my truck and the worst service Ive ever had.

We were from out of town and had a problem. JP and the service department took excellent care of us. Very nice man I feeling went the extra mile for us. And then Jason thats the shuttle driver he also did an outstanding job. Made us feel very very comfortable being from out of town and trusting someone we dont know.
I was traveling from Phoenix to San Diego via Hwy 8 when my Tahoe temperature gauge started to increase and all of a sudden I lost the power steering, so I pulled off the freeway. Looking under the hood I saw the serpentine belt was gone. I called AAA and had my vehicle towed 12 miles to Imperial Chevrolet a GM dealer. The Service Department was closed so I left a note stating what had happened in the night drop. Service Advisor Medardo Montano was very professional when he called me the next day and said he would have a tech check out what needed to be repaired. Medardo called me back in a few hours and said the missing belt and tensioner were the problem and they needed to order the parts for the repair to be done the next day. Medardo called me back early the next day and said the parts were in and the repair would be done by mid afternoon. I came in late afternoon paid the bill and drove on to San Diego without a problem. My Tahoe continues to run great. Thank you Medardo and the tech(sorry I never got his name) who repaired my Tahoe.Note: The owner of that dealership is very lucky to have employees like Medardo and the technician and also lucky because I worked at a Chevrolet Dealership for over 38 years and if I still worked at that dealership I definitely would have tried to hire Medardo and the technician away :)

I bought a new 2012 silverado with lifetime oil changes in the contract. They have since May 2019 stop honoring the conditions of the contracts. They have painted all the seals of the armed forces on their windows. I guess they dont comprehend the meaning of honor, duty and integrity. This is the last Chevy Ill but from this dealer. I will continue to buy Chevy vehicles but I think Ill go to San Diego dealers. Bad part was Im in the market for a larger work truck.

Well, I bought a lemon car from dealership and transmission and air bag went out in it. Car was there for several days. It was covered but it was left in sun causing my windshield to crack pretty bad. It is fixed but is not as smooth as it drove as before. I do need to take back for air bag for a one day repair. Javier always goes beyond his duties to try to help out as much as possible and I appreciate it. I know the car business is a pain in the ass. I love my car and just want it to be well. As long as you guys keep on doing a great job, Ill always go to you!
GMC dealer has the worst sales persons. Efrain Saulcedo sold me a 2015 Ford Focus two weeks after I bought it the car turned off while I was driving on the freeway. I called Efrain really upset and scared since I was with my two boys in the car and I could of had an accident. I explained what happened and his response was you know not to trust a ford like really! I told him why would you sell me something I shouldnt trust he could not do anything but laugh and play it off. Ive been calling the dealers ever since trying to speak to a manager but they wont even answer my calls. This car has something wrong with it I had to get it towed. I cant put it in reverse shift I cant reverse this car. I had to pay over $200 to get it towed. Now I am without a car still with a car note and no one will help me or take responsibility. Please DONT buy a car there I wish I would of looked at other dealer.

The employees were courteous and the service was great. We bought our car and there were a few mechanical problems that they fixed as part of our purchase and not charging us for any of it. Would gladly recommend them to anyone!
