I recently had a very nice and helpful experience visiting this location. I had an accident at work and had a small piece of metal hit my right eye. Wanting to get it checked out right away, I called and they immediately were able to get me in. Everyone from the gentleman checking people in, the doctor, and the receptionist were very polite. I highly recommend this location and will definitely return.

This was the first time we have ever visited this facility in Eldersburg. We did not have an appointment, we simply wanted to know how to proceed with ordering glasses and had some questions about insurance etc. The lady at the front was very short, told us we couldn’t be in there because we didn’t have an appt. If there are restrictions due to covid, it could’ve been relayed in a much better manner!! She was somewhat rude and when we asked if we could simply look at a particular brand of glasses, she said no we had to leave. So two words for this facility, unprofessional and dismissive! We will take our insurance and business somewhere else!!!
I have been using this location for my eye exams and contact/glasses purchases for years and have always had a good experience. Everyone is friendly and professional and my appointments are a breeze!
I have used this office for many years. I have felt that Dr. Dobrusin has always given my family a quality exam. I must say that in the past 2 years the office staff has gone down hill considerably. On more than one occasion when I have had the back of my eye photographed it was screwed up to the point Dr. Dobusin could not use it. The staff seems unable to order my contacts without involving more than 1 person actually they cant even order my glasses without help. The final straw was after getting a call that my glasses are in (after waiting 6 weeks) they cant be found. They blamed the Post Office. This place has forgotten what customer service means. They will no longer receive my patronage
Edit: they did refund my money. Customer service reached out to me but unfortunately it doesnt change how they acted..Original post: Waited 3 months for this appointment. Had both my insurance cards go back and they said this is covered but you can do this for an extra 27 dollars. Okay bet, hell no didnt even get anything and it was 87 dollars. They said they didnt tell you this and that wasnt covered, ummmm sure didnt!!. Not to mention there attitudes there were terrible (not the doctor who examined me, everyone in the back back was great) will never go back there again. And truly if there attitudes werent sh*t I wouldnt have minded paying put of pocket for glasses. Next time ill go to Walmart lol foreal
The lenses they installed began to crack less than a year after purchase. They would not fix the lenses without charging extra. I’ll be taking my family to an independent eye doctor going forward.
The GM in training Darnell was very disrespectful, he hung up the phone on me while I was asking him to resolve a situation. I called right back, someone picked up the phone and hung up again without saying hello. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE to ANYONE.

I had a great experience at MyEyeDr. I was able to easily book my appointment online, they saw me promptly at my appointment time, and the doctor that saw me was great. She recommended a new brand of contacts to me and they gave me a bunch of trial lenses to make sure I liked them before I open up my big box of lenses just in case my eyes dont agree with the new lenses. Overall they did a great job, made everything easy, and would definitely recommend them.
Place is a joke. Sold me glasses, screw falls out and they offer no help to repair. Cost to go may be cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend an eye dr that isnt some faceless company that doesnt care about patients
Ive been here several times with different family members. Surprisingly, the doctor at this establishment (different doctors each time) has found that each of my family members needs to have progressive lenses. This includes teenagers and people not genetically related to me. No previous eye doctor has ever suggested this to any of these family members before. Ive also found that their prices on progressive lenses are considerably higher than Ive found comparison shopping. Im taking all my future business elsewhere where I have greater confidence the prescription is driven by sound medicine and not profit.
I took my daughter and I to have a eye exam. I feel like the doctor was good. The front desk lady was very helpfully with getting my Insurance figured out. The lady that helped us with our glasses was not trying to up sell is on the eye glass freams which I really appreciate all her help. The eye doctor was good but had no personality.
I have been a patient of one of the doctors for years and went for my first eye exam at the new location which went fine. When I returned to order glasses the staff did their least minimal effort and were only willing to sell the glasses they had in stock and not the ones I wanted. I get better service over the internet and when I said i guess I need to find a new eye doctor the staff was happy to let me leave so they could get back to their personal conversations. Dont waste your time at this location, find a doctor and staff that truly understands customer service. This office clearly doesnt .
Amazing service every time. My wife, daughter, and myself have received great care and help for all our needs. They even help entertain my preschooler so I can pick out new glasses.
The facility and people working there are great, the doctor is great. HOWEVER!!!!!! When I ordered my contacts over a month ago I have still yet to receive them. I called 3 times and they said they would check, the 3rd time I called they where tracking them and would call me back. FOUR days later I call again and now they are calling the lab and PROMISE a call back. Get it together people. I cant see to drive, I cant go to the movies, I cant watch football and see the scores on the TV, the TV guide menus at drive through lane for that matter. Thanks a lot for nothing. Shouldnt I get some kind money back or something for the hassle and negligence on their part?

Twice our glasses orders were lost. Dr. Gordon is a great doctor but the front area needs work. I had to call to find out the orders were not done or wrong when they arrived a few days earlier. 5 star for Dr. Gordon though.
I went to Dr. Dobrusin at My Eye Dr when I was experiencing severe eye pain and light sensitivity. I felt like I was not being heard, and he was dismissive of my symptoms. He assured me that my eyes were perfect and there was nothing to worry about. He suggested I most likely had a sinus or tooth infection and to see a primary care doctor. The next day, my vision and pain level were much worse. As it turns out, I required emergency treatment for a rare eye infection that could have compromised my vision. I tried to call him to notify him of his misdiagnosis, but he has neglected to call me back. Do yourself a favor and go see someone else.
My 4th time going there for eye exam and contacts. Everybody there is very nice. I dont mind a little wait but so far havent waited at all really. Whos counting 15 seconds, lol.
I arrived 5 minutes late because of traffic/red light. I still waited almost 20 minutes to see the doctor but he took the patient AFTER me, instead of me because he said I was late. Some doctors think they set the rules. Well, all he did was lose my business. I left.
I have found this eye facility to be very professional and accommodating. My new glasses as amazing, and they have been great about helping me find a type of contact lense that works for me.
I dont often do reviews, but I feel like myeyedr did such a good job, I should leave a review. Prior to using myeyedr as my eye doctor, I went to visionworks in westminster. Subpar eye exam, and they never called about my contacts being ordered, or coming in. I ended up wearing my 30 day trial pair for well over a year. My insurance changed, and I moved to eldersburg, so I found that myeyedr accepted my new insurance, and I figured Id give them a try. Ive been wearing contracts since 2003, and Ive never had as thorough of an eye exam that I got here. The contacts theyve fitted me with are perfect. I can see better than Ive ever been able to see. The optometrist asked that I wear the contacts for a few days before placing my order for my 6 month supply. I called yesterday, October 3rd to place the order. I recieved a text today, October 4th that they were in. Where visionworks drops the ball, myeyedr is there to provide the utmost exemplary service. I got my order in less than 24 hours where I still havent gotten my order from visionworks over a year ago. Im extremely impressed and beyond happy with the quality of service and the expertise of the staff, not to mention the totally awesome peroxide based cleaner kit offered to me free of charge and the brand of contacts the doctor recommended I wear. I highly recommend myeyedr over any other eye care company Ive ever stepped foot in.
I bought glasses two weeks ago through my insurance... I lost them ... was so worried I wouldnt be able to afford another pair ... they showed me options ... even though I couldnt get the same pair ($388 out of pocket) I got as close as I could to the ones I had ... with all the bells and whistles for $95 !! Thank you for your great service and making a customer happy !!🙌🏻

They are asking me to describe my past experience, not very good, I wont be going back, terrible customer relations, indifferent just to name a few... not sure how they can keep the doors open!
If I could only give a half star......The eye dr. that I interacted with was ignorant and dismissive . He moved me out of a room I was doing my exam in, so he could bring his patient into the room to finish whatever he forgot to do earlier.no more for me thanks.
