Wonderful service and staff, depending on which location in NJ you buy from.

For the life of me, I cant comprehend why it always takes a long time to have staff charge you for your purchases.Its not one single person or an isolated time; for years Ive been shopping here and it always seems as if they have other matters to take care of while Ive been at the cash register.I purchased a car battery yesterday and while I am grateful that staff installed it for me, I cant help but wonder why the transaction took so long, and Im not talking about the installation itself.I also realized (after purchasing the battery), that they charge batteries for free. If I wouldve known that, I probably wouldnt have had a need to purchase a new battery.Its as if somehow, theyre doing a bait and switch scheme.

The reason I give them three stars. Its because almost every time I go there to buy something its in the shelves. The only reason I did not give him a higher rating is because their prices are too high. Youre supposed to say money when you go to these places to buy auto parts or for example like Marlboro mystery oil.

The AutoZone I love that desire for service to find the right part at the best price. a world of options from the most basic to the most specialized for your vehicle.

Im not really a fan of autozone because the employees are not too knowledgeable about cars cars but sometimes it gets the job done.

Got my friend a sauce cup holder for his car as a birthday gift from here and I think he owes me his life now bc thats just the best gift anyone could ever recieve 5/5

I broke down on the road but managed to end up at this store.. they had exactly what I was looking for.. what was even better was that I rented a tool box and changed the part of the vehicle right in their parking lot.. the associate came and check the vehicle to make sure it wasnt a battery problem.. I finished under 2 hours.. and was up and on the road for my 9 hour long journey..

When I went to replace my battery they replaced it with one that had the wrong amount of amperage required for my my car. Took them forever to do this service. I went months with car issues due to this without realizing their mistake. When I called them (kept me waiting on the phone for 1 hour) to ask for a replacement as I had bought basic 1yr warranty for it, they claimed they did not have my record in the system. Who cares?! I did not have the receipt so they said to take the battery back and they could see what they could do. If the only way to know if I had warranty was with transaction receipt, what the hell where they going to do when I got there! Waste of a ride to get there with the battery for them to tell me without the transaction receipt they cant give me a new one. I even offered to give them the serial number of the battery. No, they said, I had to take it back. I was about 2 hours away!!!! Its a bunch of kids working here...their service is horrible.

I needed 2 parts for my car and they had what I needed. And they were very fast. I went to the auto zone store on Rahway Ave. in Elizabeth.

The managers have the nasties attitudes you would expect it from the employees but managers, I have no idea how they even get the position of management.

Ordered online, 20 hours waiting for order ready email, no way never was sent, just need to go to store make the line, When you be at the counter they start to prepare your orther. No sense.

Always a pleasure to visit this store, I buy most of my auto parts here at great prices, their team very professional and knowledgeable off all they sell. Never let us down. They also check your batteries n generators. They also plug in their diagnostic computer so you know whats the problem if one exist. Be ready for winter go check your batteries n generators so you can have a safe n working transportation. Thank you AutoZone. See you guys soon

The woman working there by the name of MIGUELINA is the RUDEST nastiest women! Im NEVER coming back to the AutoZone and to think I own a mechanic shop and I used to go there all the time Im gonna let all my mechanic friends know NOT to go there.. I hope management is seeing this I wont be the last person complaining about her Im sure

Terrible... no type of help installing my break lights

I order a part that they have in stock for me to pick it up. 4 hours after the order was place I called and was told they did not have it. I went the next day with the part number and they had 3 in stock, so I told the sales person why if I ordered and was paid for nobody called me to come get it. They look at each other but no one even apologize. They blame a person that was not working there that day. That is why I keep saying that autozone have the worst customer service of all.

Great place need more workers

The hours are better than Advance Auto Parts and last year they had the part I needed on the spot. I love that part.

I walked in looking for CVT transmission fluid, looked for myself for ten minutes before waiting in line to ask for help. The worker behind the counters tells me to go look myself and proceeds to help the guy behind me . How are their 5 employees behind the counter at 5:30pm on a Wednesday having casual conversation, & nobody willing to help a paying customer ? Very Dissatisfied with the service .

Place has great selection of auto tools. Especially for spark plug change, they have many sockets including magnetic ones so plugs will not get stuck in them like it did for me, and staff helps you to pick the right tool for the job.

They had the part I needed but didnt have the accessories. They only had 1 and it was missing the cap.Changing subject... One of the workers had the WORST BAD BREATH EVER!! I mean, he wasnt even taking to me and I smelled it. Yuck !!!

The part i need was in need they have very good service.

Today is Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at 1:25 PM. I am at the Autozone at the corner of south pearl and St. George in Elizabeth. The gentleman at the register is very rude. He wants to watch videos on his phone and doesnt want anyone to talk to him. He refuses to help. He said and I quote we dont help people here. The service is reply bad here.Next time I will take my business to the other auto shop up the street on at. George ave, Linden.

Theyre really understaffed need to hire one person too be cashier ONLY or stop being like idiots like were not there. Manger is not doing a good job completely stop taking people in cashier and left with people still waiting. The lady I think its a assistant manager not doing a good job, last time I was there waited in line to get a part was completely ignored.People if youre going to buy something in this store have a 10-20min open schedule for waiting time.If you dont have the time, pep boys in Roselle Park next too GNC in the plaza by Chase bank or AutoZone in linden and RT22

With all of the money that the store makes. They should hire more people and always have someone available at the register instead of only two staff for the store on a busy sunday. The line was getting longer and no one was available to ring anyone up. I just left.

Poor customer service, slow cashiers- they didn’t know how to scan items or charge them. Customers were ignored when asked for help.

Its convenient to have an auto parts around you but the customer service here is terrible. Plan to spend at least 30 mins to be helped. This place is understaff.This store, two years later continues to employee rude workers. The new guy by the name of Ishmael was very rude about a price discrepancy telling me I should learn how to read. Sale signs show price for two but not for one, creating confusion and deception borderline false advertising.I wish the CEO could take a look at this horrible store and the way it treats its community members.

Not happy with the service. Was not greeted, had to search the aisles looking for what I needed as staff stood behind the counter talking to each other. If I didnt need what I bought, wasnt already there, and had time restrictions, I would have walked out and went elsewhere.

Terrible service. Employees refused to run a check engine light test even when there were moments where there was only one costumer. They shouldnt advertise this service if they are going to choose to not run the test.
