We took our group of 4 adults and 8 kids to tour the classic car museum. It was very impressive and everyone in our group from youngest to oldest throughly enjoyed the visit and every one found a favorite... and some of us multiple favorites.The staff were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable.The fact that the museum is free to the public is definitely an added reason to stop by and enjoy viewing the multitude of amazing vehicles!

I couldnt be happier at the Service I received from Swope Jeep Service Dept. I had an issue that was, to say the least, complex. It was a warranty issue that there was probably some gray area... they couldve taken the position to charge me for at least part of the repair (a very expensive repair). But they did the right thing! They took care of it completely. Seems like theres not a lot of that going on these days... going the extra mile and doing right by the customer. Thank you Carl for running a first rate establishment. Thank you Craig for your efforts and communications. And thank you to my technician (Steve? I think) for going the extra mile on the repairs. When I called to make an appointment for my car, I was told the service department was short handed and just to drop my car off one morning so it could be worked into the schedule. I dropped the car off at 10 one morning and was told it would be late afternoon before it was ready. Imagine my surprise when I received a call 45 minutes later letting me know my car was ready. The level of professionalism at Swope Service department is extremely high. I have never been disappointed any time I have taken my car in for service.

I cant say enough about the people and the organization. My 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was totaled a couple of weeks ago through no fault of my own. Finding any kind of vehicle in stock these days is tough, but my wife found an almost identically equipped 2021 at Swope, so I called. I am still healing from broken ribs, but they still managed to secure the vehicle while we worked out the details, gave me a price (reasonable) to overnight paperwork and deliver the car to me over 175 miles away. John Stiles was my salesman and although we never met, he followed up all along the way and the Finance Manager, Brad Dennis, worked with me to get this done. I could not recommend John, Brad and Swope more highly.

I was on my way home to Iowa when my truck broke down on I 65. We got towed in to Swope Dodge for repairs. Awston and his Transmission Technicians went out of their way to diagnose the problem, locate all the parts and have them in hand within a couple days. Clark was the best sales representative. I called and specifically asked for the nicest, most helpful salesperson; I was connected to Clark Evans. From the moment we spoke, he explained the buying process for commercial vehicles and gave me a bit of info on the high roof Dodge Promaster 2500 I planned to purchase. Not at all pushy, he made an appointment based on my schedule to show me the vehicle options the following day. We looked at a few, and then I picked one. Then he spoke with financing, Brad, and they ran all of the necessary paperwork. Then all I had to do was come in with a check and sign. Total took less than two hours. I was so impressed with not only his knowledge and kindness, but also the efficiency and appreciation for my time. Would 10/10 recommend Swope Chrysler Jeep Dodge, and also 10/10 recommend asking for Clark.

Took my Jeep in for an oil change and to see about it smelling hot. They did my oil change and found that a seam in the radiator had a small hole. They ordered a new radiator after consulting with me. They replaced the radiator and charged my AC. Absolutely thrilled with the service and thoroughness of the technicians as well as the guys that hold down the fort in the front of the service department!

We were travelers and had a problem with our 2018 F-150 Truck. We stopped in and they took excellent care of our truck and us. Found us a motel for the night, took us and picked us up. We were on our way the next day.

They did a great job, got me in at scheduled appointment time and completed all maintenance requests.

So I drive up, looking for mechanical assistance... but a 1500 and a charger catch my eye. As Im looking at the charger Jody Love approaches in which seemed like typical car salesman fashion.... at first. But he didnt attempt to sell a car. He paid more attention to why I was there... we talked then took me to the maintenance bay where my research was confirmed. So I told him that I wanted that charger, 2 days later I had a set of keys.Mr Love helped me solve a problem, not help himself sell a car. For that I appreciate him.

My 2020 Jeep Gladiator (3,500 miles) is currently at this dealership for the 4th time since I bought it 3 months ago. A check engine light prompted the first visit, which seemed straight forward with them claiming it needed a software update. They completed this task in a couple days and gave it back. After a couple hours of driving around, the check engine light returned and then came the 2nd visit. They had it several days this time and literally did nothing but drive it, claiming they were trying to get the vehicle to mess up again. They even allowed the mechanic to take my brand new vehicle home with him twice, to Louisville (40ish miles one-way). Im sure he had a very nice time joyriding at my expense. The returned the vehicle to me saying they cleared the check engine code and it was running fine. It took about 15 minutes for the check engine light to come back on and I took it back for the 3rd time. This time they had my vehicle for 29 days! Anyone that has done research on Lemon Laws would see how convenient that timing was for Chrysler. After picking it up ( filthy as always after a trip to Swope) I took it home and started to clean it up and wash it. While I was cleaning it, I noticed a nut has fallen from the engine compartment. So I opened to hood to see if I could locate where it came from. I immediately noticed something didnt look right. So I googled a picture of a jeep gladiator motor and compared that picture to mine. Right away I noticed that Swope had left the engine cover off. No big deal I thought, mistakes happen. But then, I noticed the real issue! I had a huge pool of oil under my Jeep coming from the engine!! So after having my vehicle back for around 2 hours, I had to once again return it to Swope. It would appear that the technicians at Swope failed miserably to take apart, repair and then reassemble the engine. The missing nut was apparently from a bracket on the side of the intake that was just dangling. It is blatantly obvious that this oil leak was caused by an extremely complacent technician and was no doubt allowed to fall through the cracks due to a lack of oversight by management. So, not only do I have the misfortune of owning this incredibly unreliable vehicle, I also have to rely on an incompetent dealership to fix these issues. I wonder what else they did wrong! Do yourselves a favor and take your vehicle somewhere else!

Do not go to this dealership. I was told I had an oil leak and that I needed a tune-up on my car and the cost would be over $1000 dollars. I informed them not to touch my car. When I returned to pick up my car I asked show me where the oil leak is, he tried to say in between a small crack on my engine (no oil any where to be found), then I said why do you think I need a tune up, he said because your car has over 100,000 miles, I stated I already had a tune before, he said they have no way of knowing but they wanted to charge me for a job they wouldn’t be doing. The are evil and greedy people, stay way from this dealership.

Excellent service! Was on a trip to Tennessee in a 2021 Wrangler, and the Engine started miss firing at 1800 miles (P0304). This happened at 4 am while passing through on the expressway. We slept in the parking lot and they got us in first thing with they opened on Saturday, fixed the coil pack and got us on the road in about 3 hours. Austin was our service writer and Jakob was our tech. Excellent service!!

I used to work at Swope so I took my son there to buy a veh. I went back to Swope with my son who had brought a veh. there 2 weeks ago because he was having a problem with the sunroof leaking. They told him that it would cost him approximately $800.00 to fix the leak. We were like what are you talking about, He just put $1500.00 down on the car and was paying a $400.00 a month payment and had not even driven the veh. 200 miles yet. I asked them why they were going not to cover the cost and they said no because it was not a safty item. So we ask to speak with the manager about the problem because we did not think that it was right for gum to charged to repair a problem on a veh. that he had for only 2 weeks. We spoke with the manager, then the used car manager, then the general manager, and then Carl Swopes secretaryamd heres what the came back and said. He could pay to have it fixed or he could pay approximately $700.00 for the taxes on the veh. and give to car to them and they would back up the deal, or they would glue the sunroof shut. Glue it shut 😒?What kind of stuff it that? We are still trying to find a better resolution to this problem. We never did speak with Mr. Swope.My son and I are not very happy. We think that you and your employees should do better by your customers Mr. Swope. To be continued. . . This veh. Was purchased at Swope freedom plan, we are taking it to a glass co. to see what they would charge to repair and then baxk to Swope.

Took my daughters car in for an oil change and tire rotation. They did a great job, maintained all of the Social distancing requirements and was not quick but quick enough considering I didnt have an appointment and the precautions taken due to COVID-19. Most important to me, they didnt try to sell me a bunch of stuff that wasnt needed at the end of the service. Thanks.

I have a 2016 Ram 3500 that only has 22,000 miles on it. Last week the check engine light came on for the second time. This check engine light only comes on when towing a heavy load. Took it to the service department Monday morning at 8am. They didnt even look at or diagnose it till Wednesday. They said it was coming up with a Transmission pressure code. They said that they Think it is the sensor and replaced it. I picked it up Thursday evening. They said that they couldnt get the code to come back on. I asked if they towed a heavy load, because that is the only time it comes on. They said they had not. They said to tow something and if it comes back on to bring it back on. This was the day before Memorial day weekend. I took my horses out to go riding and the light came back on again. They were closed on Monday because of the Holiday. I dropped it off and put the keys in the drop box. Now it is 4 days since I dropped it off and they still have not looked at it again. This has to be the WORST customer service from a Dodge dealership I have ever encountered. They said that they will have someone drop the Transmission pan tomorrow, Friday, to look at it. I paid $60,000+ for this truck, has only 22,000 miles and is still under warranty. Why does it take a whole week for them to even look at the issue that they failed to properly fix the week prior.UPDATE-8 June 2019, my truck has been at the dealership since Memorial day, 27 May. Remember that they had the truck for a week, the week prior. After sitting there for 4 days before diagnosing it, they finally ordered the part, that is after I called corporate. They received the part to fix my truck on 5 June. I was told that they would have my truck fixed and back to me by 7June. I called them on 7 June and I was told it would be the next week 10-11 June before they could fix my truck. After all the excuses, it boils down to they dont have time to fix it because they are working on other vehicles and will try to squeeze us in when they have time. It seems like this truck should be the priority since they didnt fix it right the first time. The kicker is, they refuse to give us a loaner vehicle even though this truck is still under warranty.

I swear, Robert Smiley was the best car salesman Ive ever met. His whole personality was key to the car buying experience at Swope Chrysler Dodge. He knew every detail about the vehicle I wanted, and even took me over to the Swope Museum of Classic Cars instead of leaving me stranded waiting on finance and paperwork like so many other dealers do.
