I saw a few negative reviews about the front office being rude and at first I did not know what to think so I went anyway to give it a try.Well everybody was super nice, professional and helpful. My waxing appointment was great and It didn’t hurt as much as it does when I go in other places. You can tell that they’re using good products. I had Alicia and she was really kind, quick and professional.I recommend this place and will come back for sure.

I had scheduled an appointment at this location at 6:15pm on Wednesday, which was convenient for me since I get off work at 5:30pm. I usually go to the Davis location. They confirmed with me one day prior via text which was good but the day of my appointment which was the very next day at 10:30am I get a text message saying, “ Hi, this is European Wax Center in Elk Grove. We are reaching out to you to let you know that your Wax Specialist is not going to be in today due to a health emergency. In order to accommodate your time, we are going to reschedule your reservation to our next available. The new date and time of your reservation is Sunday, August 29th at 2:15pm. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding, we look forward to seeing you soon.” I rearranged my entire schedule for this appointment. “To accommodate my time?!” I am sorry!! Did you ask me my availability or what would work best for me? I think not! So how is this accommodating my time?! They require a 24 hour notice for any cancellation when they themselves do a same day cancellation. I called as soon as I received the message and told the receptionist I was very upset. She was very nice. She mentioned that she would reach out to her manager and give me my next Brazilian on the house. I already purchased a prepaid pass so that does not help me in any way. I would rather she ask me what it is she could do to help me instead of just assuming what I wanted was a free wax. I told her I was at work and would call at my lunch at 12:30pm. She said sure. I called twice with no answer. The location is very convenient but due to this bad experience I will be refraining from going there.

Reception was friendly and place is clean. My first time was great. This was my second time n she didnt get all the sticky wax off my backside. Not so happy with that.

I got my underarms waxed for the 1st time ever and all the staff was great. I was prepared for pain but it never happened - either I have a high tolerance for pain or Danielle is just that awesome!

Always friendly staff at front desk, clean wax rooms, and my waxer, Danielle is upbeat, has a positive demeanor, and is amazing at her craft!

My wax lady was AMAZING!! Super personable, made me super comfortable, and was extremely professional/clean.It was my first Brazilian wax, and I am hooked for life now. I would recommend this place to anybody who is nervous and wants to learn more.

If I could give a 0 I would. Unbeknownst to me, I let the two ladies in front of me check-in and staid back until it looked like they were done. Well I checked in at 10 minutes and they have a 9 minute late policy. I told the lady that I am leaving for a 4a trip and needed my appt, but unfortunately there’s nothing they can do….over a minute. I’ll never come here again. And to think I drove 40 minutes to be turned away for being one minute too long at their door. Unreal.

Front greeters are not friendly, tend to not greet arrivals when they are on the phone, especially the female at front today. The clinicians are great just front staff, women only, the guys are always great, need people skills!

I love this place! I have had Danielle as my wax specialist for over a year now and she is amazing! The whole staff is kind and so easy to work with. Highly recommend Danielle and this location!

I love EWC..they are super clean professional and always friendly. I’ve been going to them for two years, I’ve had different services and never been disappointed...even when I’ve had an issue they have been attentive and solved the problem right away...If she has available appointments Vikki is Awesome!...if not I am very sure you’ll be happy with any of their friendly staff

The worst wax ever!!! My regular waxer is out of town. So,I thought I would try this place bad idea! The aesthetician gave me a Brazilian and waxed my armpits in 25 minutes!!!! No care for detail. There was hair left where there should not have been. And I got a terrible rash. I will never go here again nor will I recommend!

Love this place and the technicians are wonderful!

They have a good system going as far as packages and treatments. I like that they have a grace period incorporated I to their service.

The ladies that work here are amazing. Everyone from the front counter down to the ladies who wax you. They make you feel very comfortable and confident. And the waxing experience was terrific. It was my first time today but Ill be going back often.

Im sorry, but this is not worth all the money they charge people. The atmosphere is fine and the waxers are nice but they dont make it easy for someone whos shy about this kinda stuff to give honest feedback. I probably wont rebook because after everything, serious spots were missed, and regrowth took only a day or so. Good experience, not so good results.

It was the best wax place to get services from. They are a little pricey but it is worth it.

They are all very nice its super clean.. And for your 1st time they give u a small service for free.. Made my 63 dollar bill turn into 42 so I was extremely happy

My experience was wonderful for the first time! I was nervous but my esthetician talked to me during the process, made me less nervous and of course it hurt but it was worth it. The receptionist in the front was friendly and I had a good conversation with her. I recommend this wax center since it was very professional and friendly.

Wonderful first time experience. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I got a Brazilian so naturally I was nervous, but it was a very simple process and although it was painful (as any wax would be) I will definitely be a returning customer!

My waxer was running late so they gave me my brow appointment for free. Everyone was super friendly that worked there too. Lauren was absolutely amazing and speedy! My brows have never looked better! Thank you EWC Elk Grove!

I feel bad that I can’t remember his name, but the GSA up front on Tuesday was so sweet to me. I came in around 1:30-ish, to purchase some brow product, and I was having a terrible day. I ended up crying in front of him (like a total baby!!), and he gave me a hug, and told me that everything was going to get better. He was so kind to me; a complete stranger.That’s the kind of service you should find everywhere. Thanks for helping to turn my day around.

I went to European wax center for the first time before I got married. It felt like a hit or miss with the waxers and how well the session would go. One time I went and had an amazing experience the next made me never want to wax again. Id definitely recommend if you find someone you like to learn their name. For the most part everyone was pretty nice and helpful. The biggest issue I had with the wax center was the pushiness of some of the employees and the runaround information I got about my passes. I was no longer able to go to the center but had a bunch of passes still, so I called and asked if I could gift them to a friend who was a regular. Over the phone I was told yes but when I got their I was told I was the only one who could use them. So basically I was out my money. Only after getting pretty upset and demanding a refund did they transfer the pass to my friend. It shouldnt have been that difficult.

No matter how many times Ive been there, it will never change. It was so bad the last time management offered me a do over. The person who tried cleaning up the mess left over from the girl before did an alright job with what she had left to work with. Till this day my eye brows are crooked, two different sizes and two different shapes. For as much as you pay for your services, one would think youd at least make your brows look like they are related and not distant relatives.

Courtney was amazing they have new ownership and management as of 2015 I believe. this was my first time since 2013 because I had some very bad experiences. I was pleasantly surprised.

Good waxing service. Kind of expensive for small area waxing. They always expect and ask for tip after each service. They use small amounts of wax and rest of the hair they pull out with a tweezer. Not worth the money!
