I saved a lot more money than I would have shopping at Walmart they have stuff that I have been looking for in other stores and cannot find the prices are awesome the fruit and vegetables are fresh so is the deli and the seafood I loved it. The stores clean the people are friendly the staff is friendly and theyre helpful.

WinCo was busy on my visit. It was the day before the Super Bowl. It is hard to give a fair evaluation of the store on a more hectic than usual day. What I could see was the staff was not frazzled but still had smiles and engaged me in my silly small talk.The store, while full of people, was still clean and tidy. The shelves were being restocked to keep the hot ticket items available for the shoppers. They even had samples available to give you nourishment while expending the energy pushing your cart.It is good to know that the cooked chicken is delicious but they will limit the amount you can purchase. If you want to feed a large number of people, you will have to bring friends. All the staff was friendly and personable. I enjoyed the overall experience of shopping. Winco is a good buy in bulk store and always has great bargains but at certain times to busy not enough checkers open and the line was back to the meat department this was Saturday morning

This superstore is fantastic!! It blows Walmart out of the water in every single aspect. Its clean! Its organized! The prices are low! The associates are very very friendly and helpful because they are co-owners and it is in their best interest for the store to succeed. I cannot say enough great things about WinCo foods, check it out if you can.

The item I needed was there and checkout was quick.

I have been shopping at WinCo almost 5 years, I am very love to shopping here. However, I has very bad experiences today. I had to wait over 30 minutes to buy 4 pieces of fried chicken even though just 4 people before me, and the food was full, not need to be waited for doing anything (fry or grill), just take it to box. Jackie, she is very slow, super low, the lowest worker I used to see at Winco. I felt bad when waste time with her. She moves slowly as if doing as little work as possible until her working hours are done, and this is the first time I had to wait 30 minutes for buying fried chicken at Winco. She didn’t take attention with her customers, she talks with others, walking around extremely slow, doing works that not necessary. When anyone see my review, please take a look at the way she works. Never see that before at Winco. A good worker can do more 4 times as much as her. Customers don’t want to waste too much time for that. The cashier at self checkout is slowly and didn’t take attention with her work too. I don’t know why the busy supermarket as Winco has workers like that. I’m very not happy at Winco today. Bad experiences.

This was my second time at this location. Over all the store was clean and the staff was nice, but the staff in the deli/hot food area spent more time talking to each other and laughing all while looking at the customers (me being one of them). No one made a move to help us until another customer reminded them there was a line.One customer bought a box of chicken, she asked about the wing and how they taste (she wanted to buy some). When she asked to taste it, (sample)...the rude woman said we dont give samples. She could have cut a piece for the customer. Other Wincos have done so.Well, store lost a sale. And to make matters worst, the employee stood there chatting with a co-worker..and you could clearly tell she was talking a out the former customer.I wont shopin that area of the store again.

Good place to shop for groceries. Great prices on most products, better than Raleys or Safeway. Lots of selection, especially the bulk foods. This EG location can be very crowded, and the lines are often long.

Very crowded mornings and evenings.I love the quality of food here, service is great and stuffs are great too.The fastest time that I can finish my shopping is 1.5 hours.The least money I can spend is over 100$Parking is not very bad.

Although a great store to get all that you may need, it is always understaffed at the checkout with long queues at any time of the of day. I spend more time waiting in line than that I take to shop.

Best place near me so far, they have every food item you would expect. They are also near a taco bell, dentist and more. This place is my childhood and I probably wouldnt live without it. Definitely recommend this place and the staff are very nice. It is also very clean. They have canned food, a bakery, frozen food, milk, meat, breakfast, vegetables and fruit, and much much more. 😊👍. Highly recommend this place and would ask everyone to try it out. They also have a mini pizza place which has delicious drinks.🥤

This location has apparently totally stopped enforcing mask mandates. There were numerous customers and associates walking around with their masks around their chins, and even quite a few customers with no masks at all.This complete disregard for the health and safety of their customers means that I wont be back to this store any time soon.

We shopped last night for just some odds and ends.The produce was absolutely gross, white and yellow onions were growing and slimy, the celery for the price was the size of a broom handle it was so thin.I seen a customer with a toast that was discounted.We talked about it and I suggested that it looked so dark that I wouldn’t feed it to my neighbors obnoxious dog.I get it that prices are lower, but we shouldn’t have to buy garbage. Especially in two major departments.

I was disappointed. I have not been to Wiscon Foods since the beginning of the pandemic. The store is clean everything was well stocked. Vegetables all looked fresh and ready to cook but, all the dry goods were gone. I totally understand why but I went to the market just for the bulk spices and dry goods. Now they had some but boy, you would have to buy the super large bags. Will I returned? You bet! Love the prices on the items I did buy!

Went here yesterday for a few items and they had salami that is good still for 5 months but they were all gray like the meat was rotting and they had it in refrigerator section selling it. It was like a worker left it all out too long before placing it in the cooled section where it belongs. Someone is bound to get very sick! I told meat department and they just shrugged there shoulders. They are not cleaning carts I also noticed during this covid situation.

I wish they had weekly adds so you dont have to drive down there to see what deals they have going on, or whats on sale. There is a website but only posts dry goods or tooth paste. If they had a daily add on the flipp app i would give 5 stars.

It was good need to have more register open

WINCO has so many items I almost want to say it has everything. What it is missing is a welcoming entrance. Walking into the store the colors are not fresh and inviting despite the welcome attempts of the employés to make it look welcoming by putting fresh flowers there and good buys. They need some color and design that welcomes the neighborhood and gets us exited about what’s inside.

Not sure Winco got the memo on the pandemic. Went in and the store is absolutely jam packed with shoppers. Bottlenecks at just about every aisle with no hopes of trying to socially distance. I appreciate the fact that they’re open and available but it’s unsafe and unfair for the staff having to deal with these crowds in big rushes. The plastic partition at the register was the least they could do and it doesn’t look like they put much effort in past that.The cashier Kris was the only positive experience during this trip.

Did my shopping late this year, the day before Thanksgiving, needless to say it was very busy but they had plenty of cashiers working. I was able to get through the register in a timely manner which allowed me to prep cook for tomorrows dinner. The store is getting a little better at cleanliness as well. In the past thats what has kept me from doing all my shopping with Winco.

Always great prices with good quality food and products. Went for the crab legs and once again the department is on point with great customer service. I hope there around for a while

This location is clean and well-stocked, affordable prices, friendly staff. Plenty of parking and baskets. Electric carts available for ADA customers. Store is highly accessible.I look forward to seeing samples again when COVID is gone!Try the croissant sandwiches in the deli and the fresh baked bread from the bakery! They even have a Italian sandwich for $1.50! 😮😧🤯

Ive been shopping at WinCo Foods for many years. I discovered the one in Elk Grove a year ago because it was close to the church that I attend. I love this location for two reasons.. The shells are always well-stocked and clean and the staff is super friendly!

This store is like Costco but with Aldi prices. So reasonable and filled with a variety of foods for different types of eaters. They had a vegan section for dairy foods.

Its very convenient to get groceries and most house hold items, I would say for anyone, because of their hours of operation. Price are also very competitive.

Cheap stuff good quality fast service but need to clean restrooms

I often visit the store to do my grocery shopping because the prices are always great and most of the employees are friendly and helpful. The reason I am giving one star is because today in the self check out line there was a gentleman at the self check out across the aisle from me that would not move his cart out of the path. I had already pulled mine as close to me as I could to the point where I was leaning towards the checkout machine. The self checkout clerk walks over and starts to move my cart and the cart of the gentleman across from me. At no point did the clerk say anything or did the person trying to get through say anything (you’d think they would) so I just continued to pay for what I had rung up as they made their way through. As I’m starting to bag my items the gentleman across from me pushes his cart back into the aisle way and again the courtesy clerk comes up and moves my cart out of the way- this time going into my foot. Again she said nothing so I asked “Can you please stop doing that I’m as close to the side as I can I have no room and you’re running over my foot?” And she just walked away. I understand times are frustrating right now and social distancing and covid regulations are hard to work with but come on. Be respectful of each other.

I came here for their hot food but never AGAIN i got my food served in a plastic bag. Everywhere else givd you paper bags or boxes. Now im taking this to the cash register and handing it back . By the time i get home it will be cold soggy and greasy

When I walked in the door of Winn co I felt an at home feeling. I really felt great. I went there because my oldest daughter had brought me a coupleof bags of food she had in her freezer fora while. In one of the bags there was a half of a carton of Winn COs French Vanilla ice cream. That ice cream tasted like the first Vanilla ice cream I had. I drove down to Elk Grove just to get some of the Real Vanilla WinCo ice cream.

Pros: fresh produce at great prices. Bulk items spices, candy, dried fruit, rice, pasta. Winco branded products priced 20% less of decent quality. Large packaged meat dept. Bakery. Security patrols the parking lot.Cons: busy all the time, crowded, limited liquor, bag your own groceries. People tend to do their heavy shopping here. There has been parking lot crime.Protip: park your vehicle away from the crowd and walk the extra 30 yds. The first of the month gets very busy.

Great prices. Its a little bummer that the customer service desk area and everything in it closes at 10pm but other than that, I have enjoyed shopping there and had great customer service experience.

All my favorite healthy brands of safeway or other groceries store found. I was amazed by their produce section too! Cheese and alcohol is in abundance. Shoppers a bit grumpy and zooming by me. Im jot sure if they clean the carts, but they offered sanitizer wipes.

Went in quickly to see if they had Birthday cakes. They have birthday cakes. Atmosphere was very nice, clean, they had plenty of checkouts open and although it was crowded, it felt manageable and comfortable to navigate.

Big selection and good prices. The bakery is nice and the deli has good prices on sliced meats. Their pizza court is ok for the price. Love the bulk section.
