Google Maps had this place labeled as Big R on my last visit (first week of October 21). Very clean store. Wide open floor spaces possibly due to the store being new? Was not busy at all. I was able to locate everything very quickly and check out was fast as well. Not the greatest location for a new store but I will certainly not hesitate to return as the staff was very nice and prices seemed to be on par with other area shops, if not a little lower.

Since it changed from big r its just continued to go down. Had hardly anything I need anymore and its more expensive if what they do have. I now have to go 30 minutes to rual King. What a waste of space.

If I could give a negative star to Home & Harvest I would. My first visit there this week as of new ownership and I will never go back again! Owners should get better help. I was requiring about a Table Top Grill ($75) to purchase and the only 2 they had were on display. I asked if there was a box and Andrea told me they throw them out. I stated that I needed a box to ship the item and Andrea replied, you can put it in your car or truck!! So, according to Andrea, if I am to ship it out of state as a gift, I should just put it in my car or truck!! Rude!! Then proceeding to the cashier, Leah. (I had a few small items), after hearing how rude I thought Andrea was, she scanned my things and slightly slammed them on the counter. The cheap help people hire these days and the rudeness encountered, I will never go back to that store. They dont even have their new name up yet and have already lost 2 customers. Dont go there hoping to purchase anything to ship out of state..... because you will be told to just put it in your car or truck!!! Hey Home & Harvest, it would be in your best interest to replace some of your rude help!!

Its stocked better than other elkhart store. But still lacking in the inventory section. Like clothes that I like to work in and sizes. They have replacement handles but no hardware for them.

Used to be a great store! Low inventory, high prices on clothing and gen merch.no batteries for lawn tractors or anything else. Hope it straightens out.

Big R was bought out Stock & Field. I’m just going to throw this out there that Big R had great sales and GREAT STAFF that loved their job. All of my family used to go there very often when it was Big R. Since it was bought out by Stock & Field I’ve experienced first hand how RUDE the staff is and how they like to ARGUE with customers about sale prices. I won’t be going back here I’m NOT going to support a business that doesn’t treat their customers respectfully.

Not sure about Stock in Field on Main Street Elkhart In, but Store at North Pointe Elkhart not ready to open. Unprepared.

I love this store! It was my first visit to the store and sad to see they are closing. The associate at checkout was friendly and efficient.

Sorry to see this place go. They finally place a decent store in our old Kmart store only to have it shut down a few years later. They have even done a bunch of road work in the old strip mall area. How long can this mall last without some decent stores?

Rude staff!! I understand store is closing and sales are final but... That shouldnt mean that customers cant try on clothes when dressing rooms are still there. My husband wanted to try on jeans and was told by staff to just try them on in the aisle. I THINK NOT!! Needless to say we left without buying them. RIP OFF!!

The only reason I got a three is because they dont have the shelves full yet since they switched names but its looking on all like its going to be a nice place to go especially for the fellers for hunting and farming equipment, feed for the animals.

Cant complain at all they have great sales and they are always welcoming to be animals brought in. Dogs like to go shopping to! Great job guys keep it up.

Shelves are looking a little thin because of closing sale, but 20 to 50 percent off most everything is great

This place is a joke! Supposedly going out of business sale up to 50% off. The only things that are 50% off are the dust bunnies and cob webs. They jacked the prices to allow for so called discounts. Dont waste your time, let them sit and hold the last of there stuff.

Felt like was expensive for clothing. I got what I need for outside. But damn cloths were crazy pricey.

Since they changed their branding the inventory hasnt been the same. I loved going in when it was Big R, had a huge selection of everything. Now the store seems empty and bare. Heard this complaint about the other store in the area as well from family.

Great place to get farm supplies and also outdoor gear. The staff is always helpful and kind.

Worst costumer service and management! Bought an item that was defective after two weeks. called to get an exchange and they would not do it without a receipt! Called the south side stock and field they were very helpful and were willing to do the exchange. I guess the north side picks and chooses who they will give good customer service to. So sad that i have to go out of my way to get good service! Never shop there again!

Was mostly in the outdoors/hunting section on Thursday about 5pm. I think only 3 employees were in the whole place, and two were at the front. Had to hunt for someone to help me. Good sale prices, and good selection though.

Wondering if they are going out of business. They rarely seem to restock anything. Some isles are filled with buckets to pretend they are full, and the clothing racks keep getting spaced out further and further. Would love to shop here if they ever had anything to actually buy.

Liked the Stock +Field overall but tried to buy trailer tires for the second time in two seasons with none on the shelves stocked both times. Their response was that a shipment is supposed to be in soon, which, never came, so I had to shop Menards which all I needed was in stock.

This is a newly branded store I am familiar with, after the pandemic hit I was indoor all day but as I got comfortable outside to purchase items for the home, Im welcomed with a bright new smile from the sign saying stock and field. They have items for all things outdoor that is ment to last and give you every dollar worth of value, ranging from clothes to plants to tool maintenance, stock and field hasnt disappointed me since I last saw the its old face.

Love this place....got everything a man could want in there.....i Always take too long when I go looking at everything but now wifey makes me go right before closing so I cant....lol

The greatest place to find tools, armory & camping supplies, toys for all ages, pet supplies/food, food & kitchen stock items that are hard to find anywhere else. (We always remember them as BIG R STORES). Thanks, Stock+Field of North Elkhart!

Couldnt get anyone who worked here to give me the time of day to answer a question. A vender to Stock and Field answered my question. Extremely knowledgeable lady.

Nice store. Had what I was looking for and good prices.

Good prices but no staff in the store. Only 2 people in the entire store. We wanted some popcorn but a sign said only staff could get it. Unfortunately we didnt want to interrupt the people being checked out for our popcorn. We walked the entire store and found only one other person on staff.

They had an assortment of just about everything from fishing poles and fishing tackle all the way to farm stuff clothing food I got a jacket theyre pretty reasonable

Got a nice cold weather coat for less than $80.

Order several hundred dollars worth of special order product from me months ago and have failed to pick them up or pay for them. Store manager michael has been ignoring and dodging calls. Assistant manager larry seems uninterested in helping.

I think the south Elkhart store seems to have a better firearms and accessories section. I have also noticed that there is never anyone at the firearm counter at the north store. The south location often has two or more to service that area.

I love going here even when Im not purchasing anything. I would absolutely recommend this store for anyone that loves country living and farming. Very helpful employees answered questions I had about certain items I was interested in. If I could give this place a 6 star rating I definitely would.

Awesome awesome AWESOME store for outdoor, sporting, and tools. My favorite actually. Dogs are welcome. Free popcorn (that is delicious) and great helpful staff at your service. Basically a mans candy store!! You wont be disappointed.

The store has a great selection of farm items, adult/ children clothing, boots, outdoor sports items, animal supplies, tools, and lawn equipment. In spring they have plants and supplies. Winter holiday decor and gifts. The staff is very helpful with information and product use.

Some stuff is way too pricey (animal grain, etc) but theres a good selection of work clothes and stuff and a huge sporting good side so a great place to find camping, fishing, hunting stuff.

Simply wanted to buy a knife. Took staff about 30 minutes to come unlock the display case. Larry didnt have a key for one of the display cases. Inquired about 2 of the knives in the display case that he was able to open. Took about 10 minutes to figure out the price of one model and that it was out of stock. Then simply showed me the other model and put it back after assuming I didnt have enough money to purchase it.

Great used gun prices!! But every thing else is a little pricey...

The past couple if years Ive been going to big R. It used to be my favorite place to shop when I lived out west in Idaho. The big R in Elkhart has absolutely terrible customer service. They need to step up and hire better people and pay them people better money to get better quality workers.
