Clean well stocked polite employees and great prices

It was very clean. Amazing deals on products across the board.While we were there, someone walked in without a mask. An employee asked them if they had a mask, the person apologized and very quickly put one on (that they had simply forgotten in their purse). It was a very positive experience.

The bakery!!! I popped into this location on a whim one day and was so please that its one of the very few Aldi with a bakery. The store was well stocked, clean, and had friendly associates.

Love this store. Usually always has stock, they get in good items and hardly ever leave without something I came for. And the employees are nice and friendly.

This Aldi offered what I needed, though it is not as well stocked as others Ive visited outside of the US. It gets busy sometimes and the way to go is to queue while your partner shops during peak periods to avoid long waiting periods.The app also indicated that it offers delivery services, so if you like to shop without taking a ride or walking, you can certainly call them up for delivery services.It is close to Lowes and Costco in Ellicott City and is surrounded by other shops, making is a convenient place to compare prices and getting your best picks.

Nice selection of healthy food options and good quality of items available for purchase. My only problem which seems to be a recurring issue for many Aldi that I visit is that theres always one person working at the checkout and the line is backed up so far that you feel like youre never getting out of the place

Im so glad that they put a new Aldi in next to Costco its wonderful. Very large, clean store. All the employees are very helpful. Great location and selection.

I was in the store to exchange an item. Ikeia was my checkout person. I was draped by my threenager, which is typical for me. I wanted a couple of items as well, but forgot my wallet. I had to run back to the car. Ikeia was patient, understanding and cheerful. When I returned, she was ready to serve me and quick (as always). There was another patron who needed a quarter to which she quickly helped him so he could start shopping then she helped me close out. Truly a great customer experience. You don’t get those anymore these days. Great job to her. Keep being a customer manic!

This isnt my usual Aldi - so nothing was in the right place. :-) The store is well lit, clean, they had most of the things I wanted. You really cant beat the prices. Aldi has come a LONG way! When I first went in one a decade ago - I thought Id stepped back in time or into an alternate universe - but they have really improved and become my main store. Sure, I still have to go to Giant or Wegmans for a few specialty or fancy items - but Aldi has all your quality basics covered at great prices. I do my main shipping at the Aldi in Laurel.

My favorite place to stop in to get the sometimes eclectic selection of food. Nice German food selection as well.

Aldi is a great place to shop because you can get great produce and meat. They have a bakery. There are always cool and weird things for sale too. I feel I can trust them because Trader Joe is owned by the same company.

I never knew non name brand food could taste so good since i started shopping here. Everything is always fresh and very well priced! My go to for all my grocery needs!

I hands down love this store. Aldi in general has been great for me. This location is new, opened December 2018. It’s always clean, and their stock is usually fairly organized. Make sure to bring your quarter— and remember you have to bag your own groceries. But this is how they keep their prices so incredibly cheap!! They do offer plastic bags for purchase and they are worth every bit of the 7 cents they cost. Those things are heavy duty and last forever. I do 90% of my shopping here. Their produce is always great, and I love their pick of the weeks/month. Their ready to bake pizzas are fantastic, I love their specially selected brand of snacks. This location has a bakery so there are donuts and croissants freshly baked. As well as pretzel buns. I’ve also had great luck with their flowers. $3.99 for a bundle and they last at least 10 days and smell wonderful. I can buy a weeks worth of groceries for around $25-$40. Love this place.

Came here for the first time and it’s not my cup of tea. A lot of cheap items like bread and fruit but a lot of it is organic and pricey. Wouldn’t replace my normal grocery routine with this store although I do like one thing. To get a cart you must insert a quarter to retrieve from cart rack and you get it back when you return cart. I like this and it keep the parking lot clean of carts hanging around.

The store is amazing it self i never had a problem before until today a cashier treated me different from her other two customers. aldi needs to pick out better workers just because they are older doesnt mean they understand that times have changed and the shouldnt discriminate by age or color especial by race. i hope someone puts her back in line and start to behave her self

I frequent this Aldi weekly and I enjoy their selection and prices!

Store has empty shelves absolutely everywhere. Produce was totally bare as well as the cooler . No aisle has been boxed in what looks like a while. I can see plenty of produce and cooler pallets in the back to know cooler hasn’t been thrown in a while . Over crowded and lines to the back of the store . Definitely not the normal employees fault but a lack of a proper shift manager. When I worked in Timonium even at the store’s busiest hours it was never allowed to look this horrible inside .

I love Aldi. The main reason this review is not 5 stars, is that the bagged russet potatoes are ALWAYS bad. Last week, 3 out of 9 of the potatoes were rotten; this week 3 out of 6 were bad. They should just keep them loose so customers can pick out their own and staff can throw out the rotten potatoes before they rot the rest. Such a shame

This is one of the better Aldis I have been to. This one is clean and the aisles are a decent size. Select is about the same as other stores and prices are good. Staff was friendly and helpful 🙂 this will be my new go to spot!

I love shipping at ALDI. The products are sometimes of brand, but taste and quality is equivalent.Sadly, I was disappointed by a recent purchase of strawberries. It might have been my fault, but Im sure theyll return funds or let me get another selection without a problem. Most strawberries (fruits) lack flavor and sweetness and need more time to ripe, before going in refrigerator. I let them sit out for two days and this is what happened. See picture

Checkout lines are little unorganized at times but manageable. Great prices. Lots of fancy cheese at reasonable prices. Cheapest free range eggs I have seen in the area.

This a nice cheap store, buy why is their only one cashier, but I really like the quarter cart return, dont see any of their carts floating around.

I love this market! I have to admit, I do all of my marketing here because of the selection BUT what i do purchase is a great price and great quality. Bring your own bags...youll save a few cents to dollars. There bags are 10cents for plastic and I believe 5cents for paper. The bags are good quality. You can use them over and over again. The market is always clean and neatly stocked. Its my favorite store. Great Job Aldi!!!💜

Very dirty they do not clean the The bathroom on a regular basis and I clean it up with bleach and Mr. Clean

Plenty of parking space, nice varity of items, very clean. Line was long but it went down insanly fast..under 15 mins. Doesnt have everything that a large chain grocery store has but worth getting 2/3 of what you normaly by. I spent $97 and had 10 fully stuffed bag of groceries.

The line was long all the way to the back one cash register. The man at the register was doing his best I will give him a 5

Dont be surprised if you leave with more than you planned to buy. Aldis has more of a selection than you might assume and its a good one.

I shop here frequently. I really like Aldis selection and prices! If you havent shopped here before, bring a quarter for a cart (you get it back when you return the cart), and your own bags. If you forget bags, you can pick up boxes in the store, or pay a small fee to buy bags at checkout. The cashiers are amazingly fast, so even if theres a line, it doesnt take too long.

Good prices for the basics

Disappointment in the customer service from some of the cashiers. Moving too fast and not gentle with my groceries. Cashier started putting my groceries in the cart before the customer in front of me could take her groceries out of the cart. Once my groceries were in the cart she pus h ed the cart out of the way for the next empty cart. I asked if I could move my own cart. We both had hands on one cart. Ive requested several cashiers to be gentle with my items. Please slow down and stop throwing items in the cart.Very unprofessional service.

I always get great deals at Aldi. Very happy with the quality and flavor. Most cashiers are friendly and careful with my groceries. Dont always have same products from week to week but sometimes have new products to try.

Love this store. Not the largest selection of groceries, but what they do have are at super cheap prices. Produce is fresh - - avocados for $1!! Their brand name products are cheap and tasty. This is our place to buys snacks and frozen pizza. To use their cart, you need to put in a quarter to use it--and you get your quarter back when you return the cart. What a brilliant concept! Oh make sure your bring in your own bags!

20 cents expensive compared to Aldi at Elkridge

My favorite place to shop for groceries! Its affordable and has many of the health-food items I need, such as almond milk, nitrate-free bacon, almond flour, grass-fed butter, greek yogurt, sprouted bread, jasmine rice, and Splenda. and of course fresh produce. I also enjoy the aisle where you can buy household items and clothing. I often buy greeting cards and plants here because they are cute and much cheaper.I wanted to give 5 stars, but occasionally some of the produce is a little ripe. Most of the time its great.

Super great value store, of course there are not a lot of name brands but their brands are very tasty too! The customer service is always great and the store was very clean, just remember to bring your own bags or a box. They do charge 1.99 for plastic reusable bags or $0.07 for paper.

Fantastic store. Get all the same style foods at much less than the leading stores. Sacrifice nothing in quality but saves you tons of money. Has organics, great produce and a friendly staff

Aldis is amazing with loads of vegan and organic options at amazing prices! Im vegan so this review is biased but to be fair, there are so many non-vegan options too and a wide variety. They also sell non-food gadgets and supplies. Pretty cool place!

This is a great place to pick up food on the cheap. Its a little unique so be prepared for a different experience. Lots of great selection and the options are always changing. Its worth checking out from time to time as things will be different each trip. Very convenient and easy parking.

Very well stocked & OMG the cleanliness of this store is amazing!! Ive been in a couple Aldi stores & wasnt impressed honestly, but this store is amazing! The produce was so fresh today when I went that I have to let some of it finish ripening at home. I didnt realize there was an Aldi in Columbia, I found out about it on my way home from Lowes & I am so glad I did!!!

Right around the corner from Costco and complements it so well. What we cant find at Costco, or the things we choose not to buy in large quantities we can pick up at Aldis. We love their European cookies and other bakery treats! Their prices and quality are the best

Cheap and good quality salmon and tilapia. Frozen chicken is decent quality. Bread is a good price and ok-ish quality. Great price and quality for chips.Produce can be a hit or miss. Cilantro and green beans could be crisp and fresh or wilted and soggy.Do NOT buy the cheese here as it lacks flavor compared to other brands (e.g. Sargento or Walmart generic brand) and molds quicker. Bananas from Aldi never seem to ripe properly compared to other places like Hmart. Brussel sprouts are expensive and usually half needs to be tossed away due to bug/worm infestation. Wouldnt buy brand name products here as theyre either overpriced or discounted but stale. Store often runs out of certain products (tilapia, salmon) on the weekend.

I shopped early, and there were few other shoppers. There was a wide variety of produce being restocked, and the prices were much lower for many items than in the grocery store. There are always good sales, and the baked goods are a draw for many. The staff was fast and friendly. You do need a quarter for a cart and to bring your own bags.

Incredible pricing vs other chain stores. Most products are their private brand and 99% of the time items taste as good as or better than national brands. Not as huge of a selection as larger stores but we buy almost all our groceries here and at Costco next door. Youre wasting a LOT of money if you dont shop here. Super fast checkout too.

Cost savings cant be beaten. Unlike the warehouse stores, couples can buy in reasonable quantities. Selection is a bit limited and you will need to try the store brands to see if you like them. Items weve tried and liked: all trail mixes, the Benton products (cookies, cones), produce and fruits, flavored seltzer, cheeses.

Aldis has almost everything I need for my weekly shopping trips and really helps me save money. The store is also small, so my shopping trips usually are not very long. Most of the cashiers here are really friendly.

ALDI is different than many chain grocery stores you are probably used to. Like the typical grocery, there is a mix of national and store/private brands. With ALDI, the mix is a lot more heavy on private brands, with names that dont at first register as being a store brand. When you shop, say, at Giant, you can instantly recognize the store brand items by the logo (and sub-name brand familiar with the chain). At ALDI, the the private brands are quite numerous. These items will have Distributed by ALDI, Inc on a secondary part of the packaging. This is not to say that these unfamiliar brands are somehow substandard, in fact, most of these items are as good as or better than their equivalent national brand products, and the prices are considerably lower as well. Shopping here needs a little bit of fun experimentation, trying out the various items to see how much you like them. Chances are, youll be impressed. Most of these items have a look that mimics the national brand equivalents as well. The meats, dairy, breads, veggies and other perishable items seem to always be fresh and the stock turned over regularly. There are also other items not typically carried at more familiar chains, like housewares, small appliances, larger seasonal items, and more. Again, this is not your typical grocery store, as it shows their European heritage in the diversity of products, the store layout, and other quirky traits.A couple hints to becoming a successful ALDI shopper. Bring a quarter, which is used to unlock the shopping carts, and also guarantees the return of the carts rather than having them strewn across the parking lot. Also, reusable shopping bags are suggested, as they charge for bags and also encourage the use of their reusable, durable bags. You will also have to bag your own items after checkout, using either purchased bags, your own bags, or occasionally provided boxes that the store products come in (similar to Costco). Lots of room is provided beyond the cashiers to organized and pack your purchases. Some folks used to traditional methods and habits are sometimes turned off by these unfamiliar processes (especially not having a refundable quarter for the carts and the self-service bagging. Once you get the hang of it, this becomes second nature and actually speeds up the whole shopping process.ALDI is like a little trip to a little European city for your shopping needs. Its fun to explore and experiment, you are presented with familiar items in unfamiliar packaging, the quality is high storewide, and there are lots of quirky new stuff to learn. Once you get the knack of ALDI Culture, it will keep you coming back, with considerable savings the best bonus of all.
