I’ve had two memberships at this car wash for 3 years. I understand that employees are hard to come by lately, however I wait twice as long as I have in the past to get my car washed. Management might want to consider a quick drive through without the final wipe down for those in a hurry, that come by a couple times a week.
Waiting for such poorly trained wash techs to handle my vehicle today, I cancelled my monthly membership . The quality of their wash services are so poor I can only say that they performed nothing right except getting it in the tunnel without damage. Their automated system no longer actually cleans the car and their staff are completely untrained. This once was a well run wash. Hopefully their leadership will move in close to fix this sub par operation.
The car wash folks lack attention to detail. For instance, I recently paid an extra $10 to have the floor mats washed. The mats weren’t washed and not even vacuumed. They didn’t even wipe down the dash. Good thing there is another option that recently opened nearby.

I was told the first day I came at 2:15 that the inspector for safety and emissions leaves that 3:00 and they wouldn’t have time. I then show up earlier today and was told “They can’t lift my vehicle for the inspections.”You don’t even need to lift a vehicle to do the safety inspections.I don’t know if it’s laziness or lack of knowledge.I recommend them for your car wash needs but the guys over in the quick lube area are a bit slow in my experiences.
Slowest car wash I’ve ever been to, I pulled up to one car in front of me and it took me 12 mins just to pull into the garage, then I got the basic wash and went inside and paid and then waited another 30 mins for my car to be done, when I got in my car the windows were so streaky. This car wash isn’t fast or efficient at all. I can’t wait for tidal wave to open down the street!
Gave our floor Matts to the wrong truck. Said they would replace.Its been 2 months of me calling them always getting the run around.On top of that they did a terrible job cleaning. Found old food under the seat and soda splashes on the dash that they missed.
Let me start by saying this wash does NOT care about their customers vehicles. Their best wash pealed the clear coat bra off of a brand new Porsche that had never been washed. Immediately after noticing I returned to Auto Spa to resolve the issue but was told by managers that it was fine and how it was supposed to look. After much unneeded arguing over an issue that was clearly their fault, I was able to get a refund on the year long wash package I purchased that day.Now, instead of driving around my new clean car I have to take it back to the dealer to have corrective work done on the front end.Do yourself (and your car) a favor and go to Tidal Wave in Chesterfield.
Had a great experience on Friday, I only had a small window of time and decided to swing by AutoSpa in Ellisville. The wash seemed busy but decided to take a chance. They got me in and out very fast and my X5 was sparkling, even with all of the salt from the bad weather. Nice work!!

I went to Auto Spa car wash in Ellisville last week. It was my first time getting my car washed there, because I dont live close. Jamie, the lady at the front who sold me my wash was very nice, and informative of the services I was going to receive. She looked inside and suggested that I get the Platinum wash with a spray and Mats, and offered me a freshener of my choice. My car came back quick and the two gentlemen who worked on it were very polite as well. I was very satisfied with my services I received and if I lived closer I would definitely bring my car back here.

PORSCHE DRIVER. I carry a towel and a bottle of Armor All in my glove box because I always have to spend 5-10 mins wiping down the interior of my car because they never do a thorough job. I also always have to pull over to wipe excess water they missed ( that leaves streaks if it’s not wiped). I have had an annual membership here for 6 years mainly because I have no other convenient option. I drive Porsche’s and like to keep them clean. Now that a new place, Tidal Wave, is opening on Clarkson Road (which is a more convenient location) I will no longer be a customer of Auto Spa. Tidal Wave’s annual membership is also cheaper, with no up-charge for SUV’s.

Monthly membership - Escalade owner... last few cleanings were poor. Today was the worst. Waited almost an hour, understood, beautiful day and the car wash was crowded. Got in the car to leave an my windshield had waterspots that I asked to be wiped. Returned to work and parked the car, then saw the back of it. Terrible. Cancelling my membership as the quality has really gone down unfortunately.
I’ve been a member of the Auto Spa Club for years. They are friendly, efficient, and willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. I would call out Andrew in particular for working with me on a difficult cleaning job that was completed to my great satisfaction.
I came in on Wednesday of last week, I was waiting in line of cars for 15 or more minutes while the cars in the other lane that got there after me went in before me, when I got closer a girl came out to ask me what kind of wash I wanted, I said I wanted a good in and out wash with interior cleaned she said a simonize wash would do it . It was $37 . My interior wasnt cleaned and my back window wasnt cleaned like she said she would make sure it would be done. Not happy

Good evening, i had a horrible experience here last Sunday. One of the greeters named Taryn was seemingly trying to speed me up and rolling her eyes at me while I was trying to purchase a detail for my SUV. I wound up purchasing the interior clean nonetheless and after my car was sent down the track it sat on the track for about 30 minutes while other cars were getting started before me. When I got home I realized the entire third row and trunk were not cleaned or armoralled. My wheels were not cleaned and the glass had brown smears on them that were not even there before the cleaning. I am extremely disappointed and will definitely never return.
Two recent back to back issues I’d like to share:1. As my car was going through the wash I watched, through the window, an employee intentionally throw the wash mit on the ground, rinse it off, flip it over on the ground, rinse the other side with the wand and then he used it on my car before it went through the automatic wash. I told the employee that rule number one of Washington’s cars is if the mit/rag touches the ground, it can no longer touch the car because the dirt it picked up would scratch the paint. He told me the way he did it is how he was trained.2. Prior to that event, I brought my van in for a wash. When they were done, all the windows were streaky, the rear hatch door was still dirty. I pointed it out and the employee continued to smear the dirt around. Eventually, I grabbed my own microfiber and did it myself right then and there. Certainly not worth the $37 I paid for that wash.I spoke with the car wash manager about situation number one above. She told me she’d address it with the GM. She asked for my name, but that’s it. Didn’t ask for contact info and didn’t offer anything to make it right.Judge for yourselves. I’m just sharing my experience.
I had such a great experience at the Auto Spa today...not that I dont on other days but my auto technician, his name was Matt Harris, was amazing. He made 100% sure my car was clean to my liking and even held the door for me as I carried my child to the car seat. He also made sure the wind didnt blow it shut on us. On top of that the car looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Thank you Auto Spa for hiring such a quality technician!

My tire was slashed while going through the Carwash. The attendant blamed me saying it happened before coming in. He kept saying: “It’s not our fault.” When the tire was removed there was a 3” slash on the inside of the tire. What should have taken 20 minutes for a Carwash took 3 hours to replace my tire. They wouldn’t refund my money for the Carwash and it’s been 6 weeks and I still haven’t received money for the expense of a new tire. Ive spoken to Paul the manager at least 6 times and there’s always an excuse. This was at the Rock Hill location which has been sold since I was in there and has new ownership. The owner of that location was extremely helpful but I’m still trying to be refunded for the tire replacement. Beware of Auto Spa!!!!
They got us in for a same day vehicle inspection, and on a Sunday nonetheless. It was quick and painless. We ended up needing new wipers and they threw in a free car wash with the purchase. I was very impressed with their car wash and will be back. Even the basic car wash package includes detail cleaning both inside and out.
They did a sub par job on the interior package I paid for. $34 to have a streaky windshield and to have the seats halfway vacuumed (which I think comes with any wash)The associate talked about how great this interior package was and it came out worse than the complimentary vacuuming and door panel cleaning they do with a standard wash.
Fair price and they do a nice job, the car will be cleaned correctly, sometimes they may miss small details but never because they are negligent. Staff is nice and careful with the car. Overall if you want a fast job done right it is a great place. Especially good in the winter they get all the salt off!!
Ill give it two stars because my car was clean AFTER I asked them to re-vacuum and wipe the seats. I paid 46.99 for a platinum wash, SUV charge, and for my mats and interior wipe down. The boy doing it was very nice. However my receipt reads 10:15 and its currently 10:56 and its not done. I would not come back due to the outrageous cost and time it takes to clean. I got here before most of the cars Im seeing come out but my car got triaged behind theirs.
Best place in the Bay Area for car detailing. Jim is always responsive, gives you an accurate quote, and makes it easy to schedule. Carlos and the team do a superb job - I walked in the other day to pick up my car and the guys were inspecting a job with a spotlight to make sure all was smooth on the finish. A spotlight. Who does that anymore? These guys do! Dont even think about taking your car anywhere else - you wont be sorry.

$116.00 detail and the very worse job I have seen! They clean like two year olds! Missed spots all over inside and out! Dirt in seats, vents, cracks, spray shine on glass!! Half jobs on steam clean interior! Attention to detail was ridicules! I have a video of the poor job done and I will never come back! I wish I had time to really look it over but my bad, i would of made the refund my money.

I came in to have my car cleaned on the inside which includes the seats Dash and side panels. The package I purchased also would allow cleaning on the outside and would take care of tree sap at least thats what I was told. Eric is a gentleman I spoke to.The tree sap on the hood was not removed and when I asked about it the kids that were confused as to what to do about it and were basically just rubbing it with a wet towel. That did not remove the tree sap. When I looked inside the car I saw the middle console was not cleaned of the grime. At that time I took some of the cleaner from one of the workers there and a sponge and cleaned it in a hurry.. which remove the top portion of it but around the sides I wasnt able to get to because I was in a hurry. These workers didnt seem to want to clean it themselves. Which I found rather shocking. Being a business owner myself it would be embarrassing. They made some excuse as to some of the stuff cant come out but apparently it did with very little effort.I looked around at other places in the car and I saw the Bugs on the back dash that were not vacuumed up. Over spray on the windshield that wasnt wiped down. And vents that werent wipe down after being sprayed. The cup holder was apparently not vacuumed. On the front dash in front of the speedometer there was a scuff mark that was not cleaned.I believe Eric was sincere about being able to get the tree sap off but the boys didnt seem so confident. Im sure theyre good kids but theres no work ethic there as far as pride in someones work.They did finish the job in a half an hour as opposed to the estimated one hour to one and a half hours time that was quoted to me beforehand. maybe that why the job was unfinished.This makes me hesitant to return as Im sure it would for anyone else.I wrote to Rick Skalski. the general manager, who said he wold investigate and get back with me but he never did even after several request.Very poor management
First and last time I get our car detailed here. The outer wash looked good but the inside didnt even look vacuumed and the wipedown they did on the dash was messy. I asked why there was so much dog hair left (there wasnt much to begin with) and was told they were worried about damaging the fabric. I got home and finished their job in a few minutes.
I went to the Auto Spa in Ellisville and I have nothing but great things to say about the job they did as well as the customer service from the employees! I had a great experiene taking my vehicle here and they did a fabulous job detailing my car both on the inside and out! One employee in particular, I believe his name was Drew, made my experience all the better with his respectful disposition and friendly greeting! I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!
Quick and friendly! I came in on a Saturday when there was seven or eight cars in line ahead of me, I still was out in less than 25 minutes! I even added an interior wipe down, which was nice for the third row of my SUV and back seat. Staff was beyond nice, sales guy not pushy which was something different. Every looked great, Rain-X is the way to go, they even used air to blow the excess water out of the cracks and mirrors. 5 out of 5 all day long!
Had the membership for several months and loved it, service and quality was fantastic. When I moved out of the area I tried to cancel it online and was still charged for another month. When I stopped by to get it cancelled they refunded me the month and threw in a wash for free! Dissapointed I cant keep coming back!

I was looking for a touchless car wash and decided to come here. The service provided was far more than I was expecting, and also far more expensive than Id anticipated. That was my fault for not researching.However, I decided to spring for one of the pricier/comprehensive and I was very pleased!The only reason Im giving this place 4 stars is the price. For not much more, you could easily get your car detailed more comprehensively.All said and done, Im sure Ill return for the excellent service.
Seems vary by the person attending. Person attended me forgot to wipe dashboard altogether. Also lots of spots outside not clean or wiped.Update - Tried reaching Brian as suggested multiple times, no response!

I have been a member of Auto Spa for several years now. I was a member of waterway for many years and I am so glad I switched to Auto Spa. They do an excellent job and are always very professional. I have also had my cars oil changed there several times and they always do a perfect job.
Best place to get your state safety/emissions inspections. They dont do car repairs so theres no incentive for them to fail you just to get you to pay for additional service to get it fixed. I got an inspection here and passed 2 weeks after another place failed me and said I needed repairs worth several hundred dollars.
Got a hand wash and they decided it would be fun to rev the engine of a 100k+ sports car. Do not go here if you care about your car. Who knows what else theyd have done if I didnt walk over there right away...

Steve, the manager did a great service recovery. I had asked for a carpet shampoo, but due to some confusion, was charged and received just a mat cleaning. Steve took care of me without additional wait. The kids are very hardworking and do a great job, make sure you carry some cash for tips.Update 9/22/21- changing my review to one star. Unfortunately this place is full of confusion. I needed some interior detail done and called ahead. When you call the car wash extension, it actually goes to the cashier at the gas station. The cashier has no clue if certain services are available. I got transfered a bunch of times and no one had a clue. I drove up anyways and then I get told that I was 5 mins too late for an interior service.If you mess up once its ok. But they keep doing this again and again. Very sad to see a good place with good kids being mismanaged.

I recently took my car to this location. The tech that was working on my vehicle didnt bother to tell supervisor, or myself, that he damaged my van. I didnt notice this until I got home. The next morning I returned and the GM admitted that they were responsible for the damages BUT insists my vehicle be repaired by His Guy, He does great work out of his garage!. Further, the GM refused to report this accident to their insurance company and refused to allow the van to be repaired by respectable company, only his guy. We have tried to resolve this a number of different ways and there seems to be no hope. I cant seem to get anywhere with this guy and this organization isnt even in the West County Chamber of Commerce.Please, Please, Please dont patronize this business. They dont care about their customers!
Wont be back anymore. Dan, I believe his name was, the young man (must be new, my husband and I have only seen him once before this) who brought me my keys was very unpleasent. We will take our vehicles elsewhere from now on. If you dont want to be there, go home, or quit. Dont take it out on paying customers who come in regularly.
Did not have a fantastic experience on my previous visit but the management contacted me the following day in order to make amends. No business can run flawlessly 100% of the time an it was good to see that there are people here that do care about customer satisfaction. Most people I have spoken to that have had work performed here seem to leave satisfied.

Today was my first day going to a car detailer. My husband heard from some of his coworkers that they do a good job. I purchased an interior super clean and just a regular car wash. It cost me $60 total for an SUV. Understand that my vehicle Had ALOT of pet hair from a Siberian husky. So, I understood that it would not be completely gone. But, I figured professional equipment would be better than me trying to do it myself. A young girl detailed my car with the help of her manager. My vehicle was pretty clean. The dash and everything looked very nice. Still some hair in the trunk area and the car wash was fine. It had to be run through 2 times, which was done without an extra charge. Once it dried there was still quite a bit of dirt, but next time I may have to purchase a more expensive car wash. Overall, pretty good job.
They are supposed to be open until 8pm however they are closed at 4:25pm. When you call you get a very rude lady stating that they wont do anything since they closed because it rained, even interior cleaning( not sure the connection between interior work and rain even if it were raining). Note that this is also an indoor car wash so she really makes no sense. She insists on trying to tell me that its raining there, little does she know I was standing outside in front of the car wash as shes lying to me and I would most definitely not be on a cell phone outside of it were raining or even drizzling. Glad to say I just found a new car wash as this 1 just lost a long time regular and Ill be sure to spread the word to others I know that do business here.

Had my car washed the other day. Never been cleaner before. Tires were so shiny i didnt want to drive on them. 10/10
Had my venicle washed and they did an excellent job, but at the same time they did a state vehicle inspection. It passed easily, but I was very disappointed that the technician tried to sell me several things. First an oil change even though it was 2000 miles prior to the time on the vehicle oil change monitor and the fact that I use pure synthetic oil so the change can go even longer. Then he tried to say that I needed new wipers but didnt put and water on the windshield to so indicate, He said the wipers were streaking, which they were not. Even though the vehicle only has 55,000 miles on it, he wanted to replace the spark plugs, said that there was an odor from the exhaust which indicated the need to replace them. Generally the plugs on a vehicle do not need replacement for 100,000 miles. I did not like this type of pressure and if it were someone less knowledgable of vehicles, they would have been taken advantage.
Good quality wash and vacuum service for the money
I took my car in on Sunday to have it fully detailed after my friend got sick in it the night before. I made sure to let the guy know about the puke. I paid $45 to have them clean the outside, inside, and shampoo the carpets. Everything appeared to be great when I walked around the outside and looked inside. I gave the girl a $10 tip and left. This morning, when I went out to my car, I noticed that it still smelled really bad. When I opened the passenger side door, I saw that there was still puke all on the seat belt, some on the carpet, and in the door jam. This should have been cleaned! I ended up just cleaning it myself instead of calling and complaining. I will not be bringing my car here ever again. I feel like they were rushed because they were so busy, and therefore, my car wasnt cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been. I am only giving two stars because even though most of my car was clean, the part I needed cleaned the most was not. Very disappointing!

I have been going to this car wash for 3 years now and have never been disappointed. This is the ONLY car wash I let clean my truck. Their yearly car wash packages are very affordable and they always make my truck look perfect! As long as they are in business I will always be a customer of theirs.

After being a member of Waterway for 20+ years, realized what mediocre, at best, service I got. Okay, the car was clean I thought, but then moved from Chesterfield to Wildwood and changed to Auto Spa in Ellisvillle. That is when the difference was glaring. Each and every-time they bring my car it is showroom clean, inside and out. The people are fabulous and whatever issue may arise, both Regina and Rick are right there to help. I cannot speak more highly of the entire operation and would highly recommend Auto Spa. I have been a most satisfied customer for 10 years and cannot understand some of the negative reviews. The Auto Spa team is A++++++++ in every way.
I had a few very small water marks on the interior that I took to the Auto Spa to clean out before we handed our car off to the new owner. Oddly, they got the old marks out and made about 10 more, worse spots. They let me bring it back in later that day and tried again to clean and still, left much worse spots. We had to go somewhere else and pay $100 to try and have it fixed. I called them asking for my $50 back and they refused to call me back. Dont offer a service you cant adequately preform. It seems like a pretty simple solution.
I wish they were better about drying the car so I don’t get water marks.

I was a regular. Untill they locked my keys in my car with it running. Saturday afternoon, I sat for 2 hours while they tried to figure out how to break in my car. I begged for a lock smith. They got into my car with $1,200 dollars worth of damage to the door. I was told they would cover the damages that day. I sent them an estimate from the Ford dealership, less than 72 hours from the incident. I have a saved voicemail from the Manager Rick, to go ahead and get it fixed. He had just spoke to the owner Phil. Phil made ford and I aware, that he was not paying for the damages, just 3 days after manager Rick said to have it fixed. The owner Phil, became impatient with all of my questions and hung up on me. Unfortunately, Im not one to tolerate neglegent stupidity. So the saga will continue on......
The owner takes great care of his establishment, the c store employees very helpful and caring . Love all the massage chairs and entertainment gives a whole new meaning to a errand .

Paid $52.98 for an interior and exterior wash. Interior didnt even get vacuumed. Just replaced a headliner and theres still loose foam all over the seats and carpet after I asked specifically for it to be taken care of. And the wheels clearly werent even touched.
Poor service. Beware, if your vehicle is damaged by their car wash, prepare to be insulted, belittled, and receive no help in repairing your vehicle if you file a complaint.
The oil change place said I needed to get my transmission fluid changed. Funny thing is that they already did that 6 months prior and even the Cadillac dealership said it was fine. Trying to upsell everything is not the way to go. Treat people fairly, people come back. I was a long time customer but the failure to do the simple things they say they do, like check tire pressure, etc....they dont do. I have to ask them to pull the car around again(happened multiple times) to fill with air. Also, they wanted me to give a good rating in order to receive a free car wash....Not worth it nor the experience.
Had a horrible experience there Sat.am(10-18-14).Waited for my Jeep,saw cars that came in after me leave,went outside,young man was working on it,then he moved it off to the side out of site.I watched other cars leaving,no one was working on mine.I asked the supervisor What about my vehicleHe went to the vehicle, came back,said were finishing it up now.15 mins later the tech drove it up front parked it,came over,said it was done.I started looking over the results,bugs still stuck to the front end,soap still on the hood,foot prints on the sill,lower grill was awful,bugs,dirt,between the doors on the right side had been missed completely,windshield had been half cleaned,IP was covered in ArmourAll.The young Tech that finished my vehicle didnt have a clue! Do you think Ill spend $51.06 there again ? And the Tech that takes the order is slick,he will get in your pocket ! And to think we were there often !
I was charged $40 for gasoline that I did not receive. The pump did not work and my bank account clearly shows the charge. This is in regards to Phils Florissant BP gas station. I attempted to resolve this issue by calling the owner. The owner, Phil Hurlbut and his assistant told me that they are not responsible for the charge and that I should learn how to use the gas pump and the pay at the pump feature. Phil refused to give me his last name. I am appalled at the degrading and unwilling to assist customer service I receive from the owner of this business. Phil robbed me of $40 and disregarded my resolution attempts.
Beware of the oil changes.....they will try to rip you off.I was charged $129.66 for an oil change, as they said it was $55 for extra oil?? They also spilled DEF fluid all over my engine compartment and fender, and that fluid is corrosive. To top it all off, they used a FVP (cheap) oil filter, not the Mobil 1 they were suppose to use - they told me they cant get the Mobil 1 for my truck? Its a GMC.....I wouldnt take my lawn mower to this place.
Auto Spa in Ellsville is the ONLY place I will get my car washed. 5 star service, 5 star employees & managers.

Expect to go home and clean cup holders, do or handles and unclean spots on dash yourself.. the automatic car wash works though 3 stars
Warning, Beware, Unethical, Untruthful, Stonewallers, Terrible Owner and Managers, If you care about your car and your wallet you will not go near. If they can do this many damages with a car wash what can they do with an oil change??2/4/17 new RV4 for $41.85 Wash & left with $966.15 of damage it is now June 10th still they have not paid!!!!

AutoSpa is the Only facility I will use to Have my vehicles Cleaned . Not only do they have a Touchless Wash, but the also offer Hand Washes. I own a ZR1 Corvette, Cadillac Escalade and a Camaro Indy Pace Car. So I usually ask for the Hand Wash, The wait time is a little longer but not by much. So do yourself a favor stop by and give them a try, You Will Not Be Sorry !
