They moved my prescription to a different location without telling me. I asked if, in the future, they could have it sent to my closest CVS. They refused. Another time they sent the same prescription to a totally different random CVS, without alerting me. In addition to the crazy switcharoo thing, there’s typically a long line inside and outside. At each location I went to, but especially this one, the workers are short and curt and every semblance of their body language and speech conveys that they hate their job. I’m going to try Amazon pharmacy and get delivery.
Website and sign at front door said walk-ins welcome ...went to the pharmacy where the pharmacist rolled her eyes at us and said no you need an appointment... worst part is she was wearing a mask with Jesus written on it. Very poor customer service maam. We went elsewhere. Do better.
Customer service at the pharmacy is terrible. They do nothing to correct their mistakes. It’s almost like you are bothering them to just get your prescription right!
The worst store I have every dealt with. Rude and incompetent. Could not get my wife meds for 12 days!!! Extremely serious condition and no concern or sense of urgency. Never have Rx ready and must make multiple trips. Need to teach these people some respect and customer service skills.
I’m not sure who is in charge at this pharmacy. I’m new to the area and chose this cvs as it’s open 24 hrs. I have been in 3 times now and every time I stood there for several minutes with no acknowledgement and then all three times it took the pharmacist asking them to wait on me.I’m a long time customer of cvs in GardnerMassachusetts and have NEVER had such bad customer service. I have changed my family’s prescriptions to the Ballwin store and am happy to say they have been nothing but professionals.
Go anywhere but here. Whether it’s the incredibly rude staff in the pharmacy or them just not answering the phone--it’s ridiculous. I’ve been on hold on and off for an hour and a half, needing information on an important medication that was supposed to be ready YESTERDAY & ended up calling the front of the store to make sure the pharmacy was even open-it is...just not answering any calls. Did I mention it’s been an hour and a half? Taking my business elsewhere from here on out and I would encourage others to do the same.
Stood in line for 37 minutes only to be told I could not get a refill on my gummy vitamins. I have no-deductible health insurance and an American Express Black Card. What am I missing here?
Just spent 36 minutes on hold trying to get a prescription transferred to Walgreens, only to be told that Walgreens staff is on strike (so they cant transfer it). Of course, this isnt true. Done with CVS.
The guy who works overnights is extremely rude. I asked for help finding an item and was told it isnt my job to shop for you. No worries, i will shop at Walgreens from now on.
Just spent 45 lovely minutes on hold (a nice touch of repetitive advertisements mixed in with even better music) trying to get ahold of someone in pharmacy. I called another number and got ahold of someone only to be placed on hold again.Edit - Drove to the store to see what the deal was and its safe to say theyre a little understaffed. Awesome pharmacists once we were able to get to the window, I hope they can get some assistance because they seem overwhelmed.
Some of the staff are nice, but the staff that arent, are pretty unprofessional and nasty. Long waits for Rx.
The pharmacy department is inept. Go elsewhere if you can. I went to get a prescription filled. The gal who first waited on me said it wasnt ready, and to give them an hour. A few people who came in after me were told their prescriptions werent ready, but they would expedite the order and it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. They waited. And waited. And waited. It took at least 45 minutes. I went back to check on mine, only to be told that CVS doesnt take my insurance. They couldnt have told me that when I first got there? Very little organization. Not friendly.
This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used, Walgreens at Clarkson Center is so much better! CVS will never go out of their way to let you know your prescription is “ON HOLD” or has some delay being filled. It’s up to you to call them. Then when you call them, NOBODY answers the F-ing phone. I’ve called time and time again. Nobody will answer! The WORST pharmacy I’ve ever used. Period.
The guy on overnights is very nice and patient with customers. He extremely helpful and just very nice! I saw a review from just a little bit ago saying he’s rude but what that person failed to mention is she’s a doordasher and was asking him to shop for her and pick up every little item in her order. As a fellow doordasher you’re not supposed to be doing that, if you can’t find the items on your own then DONT accept those orders. I was in the store (getting an order) when they were there and they were just extremely rude to that worker. But really that overnight guy is a very good worker, i’m in quite a bit due to dashing a lot from that store and always see him! Keep up the good work man!
I had an appointment for second covid -19 shot at 11am on Sunday, May 2. I showed up 5 minutes before 11 at the store vaccination area and checked-in on the links sent to my phone from CVS pharmacy, I got the thank you for check-in message. Then I waited and another person showed up who had 11:15am appointment, we waited and then another showed up waiting... we waited for t5 minutes or so finally somebody showed up and told us we can go to pharmacy to get the shot. However, the two people came after me were called to get the shot and I was still waiting ... I had to go the pharmacy window to ask again ... finally I got my shot at 11:30am. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Pharmacist Annie is the greatest! Over the phone, I asked her about my prescriptions and she was professional about what side effects to expect. She was kind and supportive and spoke from experience with one medication, which was exactly what I needed to hear. She even patiently told me how to access a prescription delivery service through the CVS website. The care that Annie took was above and beyond!
CVS canceled our COVID vaccination at the last minute, left a voicemail with a callback number, and then didn’t answer. Poor management, poor communication. Walgreens does a much better job.
Incompetent help at drive through. Normally a 5 minute experience is 30 minutes and I have the ap on my phone and confirmation that my scripts were ready. One script was ‘lost’ and they had to redo. Also the app would not allow me to pay in advance due to an enhancement that screwed up the ap payment. I think they added that you can pick up in store but screwed up the basic functionality of the ap and did not test to see if it works. Finally I wonder how you can lose a script and who might have my meds and PHI. Wow
I went to get my sick kid medication at 3:30 a.m. I stood at the checkout for 10 min. When I found the employee to tell him I was ready to check out, he says Just use the self checkout rudely. I walked back up and tried both machines that would not take my payment. After trying several times, he walked up and said Guess I have to check you out after all. I will drive out of my way to go to a Walgreens from now on. This attitude is not needed when you are already dealing with a sick family member.
RUN, don’t walk, to a different pharmacy. I have waited on the phone for over 40 minutes just waiting to even speak to someone, then getting hung up on by the automated system after waiting 10 minutes each call, JUST to transfer a prescription that got called in to the wrong CVS. This is completely unacceptable business practice. If you can’t handle customer volumes of every level, you need to hire someone else. I can’t even get my prescriptions transferred from this awful location!
WAITED FOR 23 MINUTES TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ... ANYONE AND NOTHING.
I had the WORST experience at the CVS window today. I am a 21 year old who was hit by a car on the highway and was prescribed medications, including hydrocodone, for my pain. At the window the woman immediately refused to fill the hydrocodone after looking at me and then proceeded to tell me I could not fill my 3 prescriptions because they were on printer paper, even though they were all signed by the doctor. I asked if she could call the emergency room number on the prescription to prove I was there yesterday and she refused. I went to Walgreens in tears begging them to help me and within 15 minutes had my prescriptions in hand.
Bad Covid testing
Yesterday afternoon I witnessed a clinic nurse in the parking lot yelling at a patient in a manner that was unprofessional, lacking compassion and frankly, an embarrassment to CVS. I have never seen such a thing. Is this how Covid testing patients are treated by CVS?
Bella expertly showed my the CVS batteries were buy one get one free. Also had excellent decaf coffee recommendations. Highly recommended.
Horribly incompetent staff. Cannot seem to do their job let alone do it well. Always an issue.
I’ve used their pharmacy for well over 5 years. Absolutely incredible service and courtesy. The Pharmacists, particularly Bryce, have bent over backwards in assisting me with RX refill issues etc. Their technicians- wish I wrote down their names - are more than merely polite. They to, genuinely care and listen, be it in troubleshooting an issue rather than passing it off or simply filling a prescription. Across the board - phenomenal!
Long waits in line and so far Ive been on hold 21 minutes
The pharmacist is one of the rudest people I have ever met. Talks down to customers -- he knows more than they do -- always seems too busy to help anyone. I have moved all of my prescriptions to the CVS in Ballwin. Its much more inconvenient for me -- but they treat people right at that store. Do not trust the pharmacist at this CVS store -- hes genuinely evil...
I don’t recommend it to anyone because they customer service scale is zero.
Great
Under staffed. Every single time I get a Rx sent here, it’s never ready in a timely manner. The wait time in store is atrocious. Drive-thru is worse. Save time. Use Walgreens.
DO NOT TRUST THIS PHARMACY WITH YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS... They did not have stock of my last prescription and refused to fill it for 7 days past its due date. They were very indignant, stating that they simply did not have the inventory and would not be able to fill it. I never had this problem with Schnucks Pharmacy. Sorry CVS, but you suck... Your patients need their meds. We cant just go without because you run out...
Kleptocracy / Ellisville
The pharmacy is of a poor service. The pharmacist is rude. I dropped off a prescription, I told them to get insurance authorization, 4 days later I stopped by, they told me they are going to contact the doctor again, 10 days later I stopped by again, the pharmacist told me why I didn’t contact the doctor???? It is the pharmacy job to contact the doctor to resolve authorization or any other related issues not the client!!I took my prescription from this CVS store and went to Walgreens . The pharmacist at this CVS is not looking cars about keeping CVS clients.
Cashier Emma was rude. They had items on sale but the prices seemed high. Went to Walgreens the same items were not on sale but still cheaper.
Never anyone there. Kinda creepy. Lol
The staff is very kind and willing to help!
Avoid at all costs
Absolutely horrendous customer service! We went to this CVS Pharmacy to pick up a prescription that we were notified was ready. Upon arrival to the drive thru window, we were greeted, took the insurance card and then heard nothing for 20 minutes, even though we were the only car in line. We tried pressing the call button but they ignored it. We couldnt even leave because they had our insurance card. After 20 minutes, they finally said they were sending the clipboard to sign and have a nice day. No apology, no explanation. Nothing. Absolutely horrible way to treat a customer.
Worst customer service for a pharmacy. Took 3 trips to get my script transferred and filled. And then they charged me $20 for it when it was covered by my insurance.
The clinic here has been a life saver for me several times, quick in and out, can schedule appointments on-line and very kind and through staff.
Awful customer service experience.
The drive-thru pharmacy attendants are extremely helpful!
Under staffed and well below 1 star customer service
CVS has glasses lens wipes that are vastly superior to Walgreens, though once I bought a box of them and someone had stolen half of the packets of lens wipes right out of the box. In a town like Ellisville where the median household income is around $63,000, why is anyone stealing lens wipes?
Had all of the quick candy items I needed and had very friendly staff that greeted me when I walked in, made sure I could find what I was looking for, and checked me out quickly.
Awesome! 😎
Night pharmacist is fantastic!
Trying to get help finding anything over the counter is like pulling teeth.
Well run store!!!
Very friendly staff!
