Tina was a great help on the phone and we dropped off our dryer the same day for repairs. The guys in the shop cleaned and fixed my dryer so I was able to pick it up the next day. Fair prices and friendly staff. Thank you for the quick fix!

Told repair man one of the parts he ordered was not needed. He proceeded to inform me that he was replacing it anyway. I told him I didn’t want it replaced, the original part was fine. No difference, he was replacing it because he wasn’t coming back to get him to do it for free. Rude and condescending!Also it took them 2 weeks to cash the check for my service call. Never again!

Called them up to get a dishwasher installed and they quoted me $150. Once they showed up, the installer told me that it would cost over $500 in parts and labor because the job was so complex. Also told me that the dishwasher wouldnt fit in the space I had. I ended up dismissing him and going to the hardware store to buy $20 worth of parts and I spent ~2 hours total and did it myself. Fits and works just fine. Be careful of bait and switches with these guys!

Very unprofessional. Do not hire them for anythimg. I purchased a hotwater tank from them. After a year, it stopped working. I also purchased a 5 year warranty. Not only did they refuse to fix it, but they cursed at me. Do not hire these crooks.

Arrived for a service call a few weeks ago. Never touched or looked at the washer, just told us it was either the valve or the computer (based on our description) and told us what to do if it happened again (so he would know what the problem was)- then promptly charged us 75 dollars for the service call. When he came back a few weeks later to fix it, my husband stayed with him to offer assistance until the repair man told my husbandyou need to leave, I cant work with you staring at me. Excuse me- this is our HOUSE and if we want to be present when work is done we have that right! We will not use them again! P.S. He wore no face covering during the entire visit- so not following NYS orders either.

Paid to have Fix Rite service tell me there was nothing wrong with my refrigerator. Two weeks after that the refrigerator stopped working. All the repair man did was smell for grease. Didn’t pull it out to look at the back. Told me I didn’t have it turned up enough and was blocking the freezer vents with food and that was why it was not keeping things cold enough.

Had to call police to have their unstable extortionist removed from my mothers home. He destroyed ventwork that was installed by hacks(his word) that was installed less than a week prior by other fix right contractors, at a price of $75. Office was extremely rude and not only offered no apologies but excused his behavior. After menacing a 60 year old woman he decided the agreed upon rate of $75 was not sufficient saying it costs $58 just for him to walk through her door. He chose to raise the price on the spot to over 120$. At this point he elected to not only undo the work he had done but to destroy existing infrastructure. Having pointed out he had her parked in he proceeded use this to his advantage in a further attempt at extortion. The police literally had to make him leave. Please if you care for your vulnerable loved ones call anyone else in the area

DO NOT GO TO THEM! NEGATIVE Stars if Possible. We have a French Door Model Refrigerator Freeze and the Freezer was not keeping our food frozen When contacting Whirlpool, Whirlpool scheduled a service assessment appointment with Fix Rite. Fix Rite is the most unprofessional organization I have dealt with. They cancelled the first scheduled appointment the night before the scheduled appointment and rescheduled if for 2 days later. When the did not show up two days later we called them and they said to just go somewhere else.! Why are they even in Business

Was given a time frame of 12-4 for tech to come out.. called to confirm and spoke with Bob who Confirmed they were coming today. Called back at 4:30 and was told they aren’t suppose to be here until tomorrow. Heard bob in the back ground calling me a liar.. women on the phone was pleasant and seems like she was in the middle.. I asked if they could come back tomorrow at an early time as this is a business and the second time they haven’t shown up.. she agreed. 3 mins later I got a call from bob saying he doesn’t appreciate me calling him a liar and he’s putting my dryer on hold I can find someone else to fix it.. incredibly unprofessional and rude. I’d rather buy a new dryer then ever have to deal with this people.

After having another company in Elmira completely drop the ball on us, Fix Rite did a great job fixing our refrigerator. Chuck was our technician and was friendly, clear in his communication, and punctual. Highly recommend!

I had them come and diagnose a washer problem. He charged me $50 dollars and then forgot about me.I had to make several calls a few months later to get them to remember me, they sent the same repair guy out, and when he got here he said: I remember you.He had ordered extra parts and wasnt able to produce them and I had to pay again. Very frustrating to work with.The AG Appliance repair people came out and really did a nice job.Call AG Appliance.

If you want a rude and unprofessional repair service this is the place for you!! Bob the owner is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. They said they would be able to fix my dishwasher and after months I gave up and fixed it myself. Then they decided to try and bill me for the parts and service. EVEN THOUGH they never performed the service. Bob NEVER calls you back and just hangs up on you when he doesnt have it his way. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

ZERO STARS!!!!!! BOB (the owner) resorting to vulgarity, threats, and name calling (FU#$@*!% AS*%o#@) shows his true colors. I called to inquire about his technicians comments about charging all customers a 3% fee for using credit/debit cards. He stated that all credit card companies do this. I then called my credit card company and they have never heard of such a thing from a service industry. If you want to be treated like dirt, lied to, and be disrespected then please use Bob. He also stated that he is the ONLY service company within a 120 mile radius. If you want to be lied to and treated like dirt then call Bob. I wouldnt let Fix Rite Services empty my lint trap! But on a positive note, the service technician that came out to fix my appliance was one of the most genuine, respectful, and professional men in Chemung County!!

Possibly the most unprofessional, vulgar, and childish people I’ve ever encountered. They laughed at my boss, called her pet names to degrade her, called her a liar and hung up on her after informing us they would be putting our repair service on hold indefinitely because the owner Bob does not like to be called a liar. They refuse to call us back or answer any phone calls as well.

Just bought a stove and refrigerator from there last week. Still waiting for them to come out to fix it. BTW, when they deliver they put your appliances in the driveway and leave. Be sure to let them know that you want it installed if need be.

Wow, this company is terrible...first off, I called whirlpool about a problem with a stove I purchased and whirlpool uses this company for fixes. After set up a time with whirlpool for technician to come out to fix stove I received a call from the technician. He asked what was wrong with the stove. (It came with a kink in one of the gas lines to stove) after I told the technician this he chimed in and told me that I was the one who had put the kink in the pipe. After assuring him that it came damaged he began laughing at me on the phone. Then come time for my appointment I made sure to have the day off to be here and he never showed up on the scheduled date. I called the company and they said parts to fix it werent in yet (woulda been nice to know)...bottom line I dont see how /why anyone would hire this company. Not quite sure how they are still in business to be honest....

I have a drying machine, under warranty they setup up a service ticket with Fix Rite Service located in Elmira, I was contacted by them on July 8th and they advised me that they know what the issue is and they will not need to come out to see it first they will just order the parts, This persons name was Bob he is the owner of the company and the manager, He told me the parts would be here within 10 business days and he will reach back out to set up a time to come out to service the dryer, I was contacted on 07/07/17 and was told that the parts came in finally and they can set up an appointment, At this point now im a month with out a dryer after being quotes 10 business days, And now they cant get to me until the following Friday 07/14/17. I accepted that time as i just wanted my dryer fixed and was happy it was getting done. Friday morning came around and i had to move my work schedule around and take the morning off due to the tech coming in. When the technician Chuck arrived at my house he instantly knew what the issue was and started working on the machine, He then could not get a screw out using his tools he brought with him so he asked if I had any drill Bits he could use to get the screw out. I provided him with those drill bits. Chuck was not able to remove the screw and admitted to me that if he had brought his other drill set from home he could of gotten it. He then called his boss Bob from my house and told him what was happening and advised his boss he has the needed tools just not with him. Bob told Chuck to tell me i had to reach out to GE to allot more time and funds to come back out to be able to remove the screw. I then told chuck i wanted to talk to Bob, I called Bob from my personal cell phone and asked what was happening and i need my dryer fixed. He hung up on me 4 times in a row and continued to tell me to deal with GE hes done with it. I then spoke with Kathy the store secretary and she was also very rude and obnoxious towards me advising they are a small company and i need to contact GE. Chuck then left my home and advised hes booked out for another two weeks so if i got in touch with anyone it would be about that long anyways. This wasnt acceptable to me. I reached out to GE and spoke with numerous agents in regards to this issue, They advised me that there are not many options around the area and they will try to work with them to set up another time to come out, Now on 07/18 GE reached out to me and advised they have been trying to contact This business since Monday 07/17 with no response. I then called myself 3 times and no response either. I then went to the business location on my lunch hour during work on 07/18 and spoke directly with Kathy. She explained Bob was not there to talk to., I said all i wanted was my dryer fixed and need to set up something to make that happen. She then called the tech Chuck and chuck was saying that I need to call GE again. I got on the phone with Chuck and explained i have been in contact with GE and they are waiting for you guys to reply. Chuck went on to explain that he needs the screw replacement that hes going to remove so he can put new one back in, He said it has to come from GE and he cant fix it until thats there. My initial issue WAS NOT in regards to one screw it simply needed a new motor and belt which was ordered and received. I then told Chuck that it was very un professional of him to show up at a job in which he did not have the needed tools to do the job correctly. He ruined my tool set in which i did let him use upon him asking me. When i was leaving the business Bob was pulling in and i asked him what was happening with my order and he simply walked away turned his back to me and said hes not dealing with me. Meanwhile his co worker Brian was standing there and started screaming and yelling vulgar language to me and my girlfriend as we continued to leave the business. This business has a horrible reputation and should not be GEs partner for their customers and should not be in operation as a business.
