Nice clean store. Many other options to shop at around this area.

I mean, to be expected for a dollar general. This one was clean and organized. I was treated well by the cashiers. Parking is easy

I think that Dollar General in Southport is a real good place to find everything that you could possibly need 5 stars

Friendly service, fast check out clean store

The store was busy, and the layout is very cramped quarters. Last upgrade of the store, they never fixed the store layout issue. They had what i needed, though, so Im happy with that. Also, there were alot of people checking out on one register for awhile, until another employee opened another up. Somewhat frustating, since I am unable to stand up for very long.

They need a larger space. Its so cramped in there I feel claustrophobic. They do have some beautiful Christmas decor.

This is the better, and most well kept store out of all of them. Even the workers are more pleasant to be around.

Honestly I really used to love this place but since they got rid of clothes and changed everything (like what they do and dont sell) I have no purpose to spend my money there.

The Southport DG is kind of dingy. Its always had that dirty, cluttered up, kind of feel. Its a cluster F as soon as you walk in the door. Also anytime I have asked for help here, they seem like its the last thing they want to be doing. Even saying thank you hasnt ever got me a, youre welcome. They just walk about like you were never there, especially the older woman manager.

Depends on which one you go to, some are in bad neighborhoods. They are not clean in the parking lot or the inside. Found a dead bedbug at one of the stores. Gross I took off out of there so fast

This is the store I like to go to cause its right next to me. Customer Service has gotten a lot better, so I will add a star. Customer service is a little better, still needs work though. They do need to sell cocktail sauce, since they sell shrimp. You also need to make sure the products are the same price as the shelf tag. Labbatt Ice says a $1.00 on the shelf, and I get charged $1.20 everytime. Not to be rude, but thats false advertisement.
