Had to replace my very old garage door Arts Overhead Door had done previous work for me so I called to get an estimate for a new door. Scott came gave me an estimate that fit in my budget, he checked on inventory and my door was on hand and by mid afternoon the same day, I had a new door installed. absolutely beautiful and the workmanship was outstanding, great employees very friendly well do business again! supporting local business!!!!

They placed an automatic garage door at my mothers house in Kanona years ago and did a fantastic job, so I thought Id give them a call to install two automatic garage doors at my new residence in Wellsburg. I was not disappointed. Fantastic and prompt customer service, free estimate, fairly priced and installation was a dream. I highly recommend this company!

Thank you for a pleasant transaction. I needed a remote for my outdated garage door opener. I called and the lady I spoke to was so kind. I went there to pick up the remote and was treated well. The same lady that sits in the front of the building when you walk in went out of her way to assist me on how to program the new remote. She was so nice. When I got home, programming it was super easy. I had it working in less than a minute. The price of the remote was competitive too. Good business. I would highly recommend this business if you are in a situation like mine.

The motor keeps shutting off and we have to keep resetting. 60 days after purchase. 4 emails and one phone call later... just ignoring us. $6800 roll up commercial door. Do NOT do business with them!!!

I do not recommend Elmira overhead door at all. Very unprofessional, rude, and not helpful at all. Told us 2 weeks max and asked for all the payment upfront. Paid in full and now it’s been 2 months with still no idea when the door will be installed.

Had a door opener for a 14 x 14 door stop working. It was one of their models and had been reliably working for 16 years. Walked in the door when they opened at 7:30. A gentleman in the office quickly began diagnosing the unit. He determined it was a bad 24 volt transformer. In 30 minutes he diagnosed and fixed the problem. They have excellent service and skills.

My parents bought me a door opener for Christmas two years ago. About a month ago the door stopped working, made a grinding noise, and parts came flying off it (luckily no one was hurt). I contacted Overhead Door Co of Elmira (since thats where the opener was purchased). I was contacted by Matt Doyle who confirmed the make/model of the opener, my address, etc and said someone would be out to look at it in a couple of days. That was on November 1st. I waited a couple of weeks and called back on 11/25 at which point a male answered and said they were overbooked for Monday 11/28 but he was writing me on the schedule RIGHT THEN for Tuesday, 11/29. He had no explanation for why I was told on 11/1 that it would be a couple of days. Well, today (11/30) I called again to find out why no one came yesterday. The woman that answered said she doesnt do the scheduling, but she would check with her boss and call me back. (He was with someone at 9:30am when I called). Its 12:30pm now, 3 hours after I called today, and 30 DAYS after I originally asked to have someone come. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

My 14 ft. garage door came off the track because of faulty installation by Hargraves and Son of Bath. The knowledgeable service men from OH Door Elmira did the following: put the cable back on the drum, fixed backhangers, installed an opener plate, and lowered the opener. Absolutely pro work -- its the ONLY work they do, and they know how to get the job done efficiently.

So knowledgeable, and skilled. So glad they are nearby.

Replaced my ancient opener for $40. Probably could have bought one on eBay for 10
