This is my store i live on the block its good and the people are always nice and respectful

I cannot tell you how many times I have stopped here late at night either on my way to the city or on my way back from the city and there was a line of people ordering the Chop Cheese. So I finally decided to try the Chop Cheese after asking around about it and actually watching a youtube video on it. This sandwich is so good, I had it twice this past weekend. The Chop Cheese is supposed to be New Yorks version or answer to the Philly cheese steak. It is essentially a cheeseburger but the beef is ground or chopped up, and the sandwich is served on a hero or roll. To be honest I have to go back and ask what is everything that goes on the sandwich. When you order they will ask you if you want everything on it. I just said yes and added bacon when the cashier asked me if I ordered bacon too. The sandwich is going to run you about $6-7 bucks, definitely worth it. Late at night Id rather get this than Mc Donalds or Burger King thats for sure.Besides the sandwich this is your standard deli and grocery store, you can pretty much find anything you need here from milk and cereal to paper plates to calling cards. The guys working here are all cool too. Theres an ATM there as well if you need some cash but they accept debit and credit cards for purchases.

I love this place. Its not near my 89 so I have to sneak over there, get a sandwich and hope I dont get a job. I get the flavoured Turkey with spicy cheese on a roll with mayo lettuce, tomatoes heated . Its the bomb. BEST DELI EVER! It always gets packed when your in there.

This deli is clean. Staff is pleasant. Shelves are well stocked and you can just about find everything you need there. However, the deli section can get crowded at times and they only had one person taking orders and making the sandwiches.

A great store that is fun to visit. Prices are high but so is quality. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

Sandwiches of all types, drinks and snacks. You can do some grocery shopping for quick items. Haga la behind the counter is cool also 😁

My egg sandwich the roll had a fruit fly bug and an egg in the roll. Won’t be eating here again.

The always worst deli....you can be the only one there and they straight ignore you while other non working people behind the counter.eat and look at their cells.....now all the reviews that are 4-5 stars have to be people who cone in their drunk at night because if you went to a good deli you would know the difference. ...and why they f@$k are they always trying to make the sandwich hot and add ketchup to everything! !! Was better when it was smaller and the original dudes was there !!!

The attendant was on his phone the whole time I was being attended to, no hello, no can I help you nothing. So nothing to brag about just a typical store that has no pizzazz. It looked pretty clean though so hey, I guess you cant have it all.

Great Breakfast... scramble eggs w/ beef Bacon and Cheddar cheese on a toasted buttered roll.

Food is great cooks work fast and quick but never ever slip on consistency and accuracy... this deli is the go to food spot day, night lunch, brunch.. I tip my hat to these guys!

Quick, friendly service. Grill is always on. You can call your order in, if you can get through. They stay pretty busy. Real bacon is a plus.

I just wish they put more in the sandwichs. The bread is so thick so i just wish they evened out the proportions in their sandwiches. Good food though

Elmont Deli is in need of Renovations......workers are nice......food prep area needs to be cleaned better..the Deli on a whole does not give a clean appearance....though its always very busy....the outside surrounding should be better kept...and more welcoming to people inside and outside of the neighborhood.

Deli is kept super clean! I go here late at night to get chopped cheeses with the works. But everything here is good.

Its my neighborhood grocery store that has all of the essentials I always need. Staff is usually helpful, produce is fresh and fairly priced and the location is easy to access

Everybody that know this is a place to get a great sandwich, cigars, calling card or drinks, when everything else is close, late night or early morning, this is the place to go, sometimes you see a celebrity or a upcoming artist shooting they video in front of the store...

The 2 gentleman making the sandwiches were not wearing masks. Im not sure who owns this store, but how can they have 2 employees working the deli and not wear masks.

This is a great deli! Wonderful experience. Best kept cold drinks in the county. Would like to see better staffing late evenings and nights to cut down the long waits for sandwiches and inventory levels on key products like DG cola champagne improved upon. That said...the customer service is well above average and if you want one of the best sanchwhiches in town made for you...Elmont deli is the place to go!!!! And ownership is always available during the day to hear any areas of opportunity needed for improvement of the business. ELMONT DELI Is for the most part ran well day or NIGHT AND safe for family and children to come into.
