I understand that they are short staffed, as alot of places are. But when you have only 1 person going to the back for furniture why make him stand there with you until youre done helping the customer apply for credit. I understand you have to go in order but make people wait over an hour while you make this man stand there with you is ridiculous. I just needed the furniture and could have paid up front. The lady that did this could not have been more rude. I will not be returning. I only gave 2 stars because I felt bad for the gentleman she made stand there instead of helping customers. He couldnt have looked more uncomfortable. I wont be returning...to this location anyway.

Big Lots used to be a low price store. This was my first time in Elyria Big Lots since they moved to their new location. The overhead must be pretty high because the prices surely reflected it.

Harry is my most favorite person there. He is great with customers and made sure he showed us exactly what we were looking for. He went above and beyond. I will visit this big lots again because of Harry. People Matter and he is an amazing addition to your team!

First visit and pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout of the store. Very clean. Its always fun to shop at Big Lots.

We tried to purchase 3 different couches today and all 3 were out of stock not only this store but all surrounding locations. Why don’t you put an “out of stock” instead of letting people fall in love with furniture you don’t have? Not only will I never shop here again I will make sure everybody knows what we went through today. Extremely unacceptable!

This is by far the cleanest Big Lots I have ever been in. I also had a delivery issue with an online order I placed. The managers at this store, particularly Janet, were AMAZING and resolved my issue quickly. Will definitely be shopping there again!!

The worst curbside experience Ive had in my entire life and as a part-time delivery driver, I deal with curbside multiple times a day, every day. During my first call, the lady had an attitude and explained that theyre busy so it was going to be a little wait. Went inside 45 minutes later, trying to see what the hold up was, I was told theyre busy but itll be out soon. Over an hour later, I called back because several pickups that arrived wayyy after me were completed but again they were still too busy. I was waiting for ONE ITEM, while vehicles way after me were loaded with entire living room sets so I went inside yet again. This time, it was to the front cashier to pick it up myself. The cashier was nice to us but after seeing new cars pull up and get loaded on the spot, even she got irritated. She had to call the back 6x before she could even get someone to bring our item up. 12:27pm is when we made the initial call, we didnt get out of the parking lot until almost 2pm, for ONE ITEM, that took 30 seconds to load and it took us trying to cancel the order completely for us to get it. I would spend a year in prison before I spent another 15 minutes at this location.

They have great advertising, but 50 precent of what they advertise is out of stock....store after store....on line or in the store. Thats what they do....every ad...they are stinkers!

Went in this morning to pay my furniture off and let them know I will be in Saturday morning to pick it up. I spent the next hour looking around and shopping. The whole time being followed by a stock boy ( who I assume thought I was stealing) every isle I was in, he was in,.....I made sure I took my sweet time, and let him waste his time and energy.....Dear BigLots Manager: your $8 dollar an hour stock boy should not be playing detective, ....thats what security cameras are for. Im not a thief, but if I was, its sure not going to be at Big Lots with my nine year old son in tow. 😂🤣😂👋👋

Eclectic collection of things.

Good place to buy furniture as it takes up most of the floor space. Plenty of deals on housewares. Good for searching for things you wouldnt normally look for. One drawback is Ive never bought something I was looking for there. But I usually leave with something.

I purchased a floor model or I was told, upon further looking into the recliner, and after having a professional come to my house andcheck and clean the recliner, they found dog or cat hair and an old persons hair in the fold of the material as if it were in someones house for a period. I am reporting this to the health department. *Rip off and Health Alert* DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FLOOR MODEL FROM THIS STORE.

I have LOVED Big Lots for over 20+ yrs! The newer one is great!!! Got lots of early shopping accomplished AND they pulled a HUGE stuffed unicorn for me so my granddaughter isnt disappointed at Christmas!

Th store and staff suck they are all rude or when your looking to ask about furniture no one is around really short staffed will not give them my money and they have nothing in stock will not go back.

I came to this location after already visiting lorain location. There were not enough employees for a place that not only sells furniture but everything else.Forest, the man who helped me today when i wanted to buy my husband a last minute fathers day gift, was a PLEASURE. The other guys who was supposed to be relieving him was not... thank you to the one employee, from both locations that i visited today for doing your job & making feel comfortable. Im not going to spend big money at a place that i feel rushed, & not attended to. Keep that in mind big lots!! Schedule more ppl & make sure they like what they do.

As far as Big Lots goes itself the stores just been moved into probably within the last 6 to 12 months its still a nice store they still maintain it well I like the fact that Big Lots will let you layaway furniture they do it for six months and then if you dont have it in six months they give you a little leeway they will give you a few more months time. So in all its a good store decent place no complaints

Ive been working there at Big Lots for 4yrs. I love to work there, love the people I work with, and the co. Is a great. They really take care of the employees. We all really love our new place in Elyria its a great great place to work at I cant say anymore.

I guess I came a bit late this year for patio chairs. Nearly every thing they had was gone and its still May. I even searched another Big Lots with the same results. Only large, expensive full patio ensembles remained. But usually I find whatever I need. Just not this time.

Very nice inside. They have public bathrooms. Great selection of housewares, toys, garden, personal care, and some electronics. They also have a refrigerated selection of both fresh and frozen food.

Love the new location! Much more room and a far more inviting shopping experience.

Went to big lots to price mattresses for the bed my husband and I are going to build. The lady that helped us was extremely helpful with giving us information. We also purchased our little girls twin mattress from here and was informed that if we wanted to come back the next day for a sale wed get 20% off of our purchase. the customer service is great and I love the all around set up of this store!
