Horrible experience, will NEVER shop at this or ANY CVS store ever again!!! incorrect hours listed online which would normally be excusable, but their service is not.  EXTREMELY rude unhelpful staff from the owner/manager on down.  HORRID avoid this place at all costs!  wasted over an hour of my time and still didnt even get a product I needed for an emergency situation. Zero help or care from staff. ultra disappointed in CVS as a former life long customer. 2 stores falsey list their hours as opening an hour before they actually open (6 am, when actually open at 7 am maybe, more like 703, doors still locked at 7:02). I understand covid has impacted business hours, but update your google listing so people dont drive from location to location just to be disappointed again by locked doors and store hours posted on the door that are 1 hour later then what is posted online. we are 18 months into the pandemic, it takes minutes to adjust this to reflect actual business hours.  its just another example of how these locations lack attention to detail in customer care.  they dont care at all about the customer experience and it shows.

The pharmacy is always very busy but they really try to help you. I’ve always had a very pleasant experience here. The pharmacy tech Samantha is really sweet and knowledgeable.

Store hours till 10pm but employees tell me you can only purchase items until 9:55pm. Explaination register closes. In addition the door was locked at 9:54. One customer could not get out I could not get in. I was let in as asked how long I would take cuz I had a minute. I got back to my car with purchase at 9:57pm.I will go to other stores to make my purchases when needed; business practice is outside the norm.

This location doesn’t deserve not even one star. The worst pharmacist I have ever used. I had a awful experience one time, left the pharmacy crying because of how rude the pharmacist was but decided to give it another try since it’s the closest pharmacy to my house. Every time I go there I have a bad experience. Today it was the last drop, every one that works at this pharmacy must have to take a rudeness test, they are all very short, rude and impolite. From now on I’ll drive 20 min to go to carlsbad cvs where their stuff was amazingly helpful, polite and friendly! The pharmacists that work at the Encinitas Blvd store should be trained by the one one 2510 el Camino real, Carlsbad.

This Pharmacy is the worst. Not once have they ever reached out regarding a medication problem. They just sit and wait for you to figure it out. Insurance needs a pre auth? Screw u, were not helping.

The cashier, Leticia was very rude at check out. Helped a customer at check out then moved to next register and snapped her fingers and said hurry up. When I got to the register she whispered something to the customers at the adjacent register. I asked her what she said and she responded “I said you need to hurry it up!” Will not be coming back. Terrible customer service

Pharmacy staff is rude. I put up with it for too long simply because it was the closest to my home. Not any more. Go to the one in Solana Beach off Lomas Santa Fe. They have great great service and no BS. Its worth the extra short distance.

I keep going here because of Michelle and Charles the pharmacists, they are great. Good luck getting a call through to the pharmacy even after 15 minutes or more if hold time! I should stop using them but it’s the relationships that keep me there. They need staff ! One star each for Michelle& Charles, the staff needs to answer the phones!!

Typical CVS. Well stocked considering it’s the holiday season. A bit understaffed though. Pleasant little shopping mall close to the freeway. Ample parking.

I havent picked up prescriptions at this location because its not anywhere near where I live. However I have stopped in here many times because its right down the street from my chiropractor at Innate Health and Healing. Ive never had any issues shopping here, and the store has a typical stock and purchase selections compared to other locations.

The staff is very rude, unprofessional, and unorganized. I have had to go back three times (in one week) now to get my refills and each time, my refills were not ready. Additionally, they yell prescriptions out to one another loudly without a care for costumers privacy. I had to beg the lady with long white hair to not shout out my medications with 5 people standing in the line with me. I was mortified. Each and every member of the staff I interacted with over this past week has been nothing but rude. I could hear eyes rolling when I was just one the phone with them just now. You would think for a small beach town known for its holistic community and surf, they would be more chill and at least smile. NOPE! I am going back to Walgreens. The is the last time I give my $ and time to CVS.

The staff isnt very friendly in the pharmacy, I called to pick up medication after my spouse had back surgery, the rep stated they didnt have a particular medication in stock that it would take several days to order, they didnt bother to check other cvs for availability. Thw rep suggested to call back in a few days. Listen, when you have major surgery, you cant wait for a few days especially for C2 medication. This isnt the first time we had issues with this pharmacy, I called another location and recieved the meds right away with great service and politeness. Regardless we wont go to this pharmacy again.

If i could give them 0 stars i would... pharmacy department is extremely rude. after being on hold for nearly 30 minutes, the pharmacist essentially yelled at me for no reason because of a system error. when my doctor called to try to resolve the issue, they were rude and yelled at them too and i had the doctors office message me specifically about their rude manner and said they had “horrible customer service” with them as well. pathetic. for a drug store who should be wanting to keep customers, they sure know how to drive them away. i immediately after contacted walgreens on el camino real who were so nice and helpful. they had no issues filling my prescriptions and could not have had a more pleasant experience with the walgreens pharmacy. they will now serve as my new pharmacy for all further needs.

Yesterday the staff was wery unhelpful and anoyed. Today there are closed 1hour earlier without any notice...

Refused to honor an email coupon, said I needed the number on my CVS card instead of going by my phone number. Refilled the wrong prescription. Theyre very incompetent and disorganized, especially the pharmacy.

Those people charge 20% more than the suggested retail price that is printed on the box and they don’t care when you point out that they are charging a different price than labeled. Health care crooks.

They are uncaring and apathetic. I will go anywhere but here in the future. We were late for our surgeries because of them.

Worst Pharmacy! Terrible customer service. They tech guy at the counter is always rude and disrespectful to my girlfriend. I didnt really believe when she told me, then I went one time and I will always go now. I told the actual pharmacist and he didnt even care. Her script runs out this week and we will never come back here. I have told EVERY friend and family member to avoid this CVS because of the pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy experience ever!!! We live so close that we just automatically used this location. They lose our insurance info all the time, and tell us items arent covered when they ARE, or that we arent covered when we are. Wait times are horrible because they seem to always be struggling with the same issues with other customers. Last straw is trying to fill a prescription for a week now with them running in circles and calling my doctor half a dozen times. Id rather drive far out that deal with this frustration and stress!

Worst pharmacy ever. Went through so many years of inconvenience because this was the closest pharmacy to me and basically sucked it up. Horrible customer service from pharmacists. Tech were friendly enough. There were countless times when I would be told different things by different people - certain drugs would not be covered and then they were... I’m not sure how they manage to mix things up so profoundly.I always wait, even when it should be a quick pickup.I finally moved and am so happy with new pharmacy. Then today I had to come back in to CVS and am reminded as I sit here waiting for something that was supposed to ready how I will never return.
