Staff members are nice and attentive!
The Pharmacy folks are incredible! They all treat you like a very special person. It is a joy to even visit there. I have found that the Pharmacists themselves go the extra mile to have you fully understand any new med. I highly rate this pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are very attentive and friendly.
Used to be great but no longer accepts coupons. Why do I now need to pay 2x the cost. Said manager decided no longer wanted to accept.
This pharmacy is always such a hassle. We get our dogs phenobarbital here for his epilepsy, and they have gotten increasingly unreliable and difficult. They no longer accept GoodRx coupons on controlled substances, despite not being able to provide any written policy of such nature.
Over the last several years I have used numerous pharmacies. Last year I switched to the Encinitas Walmart pharmacy and consider it the best pharmacy I ever used. The pharmacy team are very helpful, considerate, professional, and informative. I highly recommend them.
I came up short on my pills. They made a mistake on my 3 month supply. They just fixed it and apologized. Thats good service.
Today, the pharmacist refused to provide me with a prescribed medicine.First, I had to wait until she would finish chatting over the phone. When she realized that I had been waiting for some time, she disconnected and approached without restraining her discontent. She asked me aggressively, “Why do you need this medicine? What is the reason your doctor prescribed it to you? What symptoms did you discuss with your doctor”. Being very surprised with her annoyed intonation, I suggested her to contact my physician, yet she insisted on MY detailed explanations. I was trying to remind her about privacy violation, so she became more irritated. She literally made me cry by talking to me offensively and antagonistically. She let it clear for me that I wouldn’t receive a medicine until I explained her all details. I felt very bad, I could barely stand by holding the wall, yet she kept offending and affronting me for my unwillingness to discuss my health issues openly in public. When I realized she wouldn’t give my medicine, I had to come back to the cashier and ask for a refund. After I told her of my intention to complain, she mocked with glee she had felt sorry for such misunderstanding. However, it WAS NOT simple misunderstanding; instead, it was intentional outrage against me. She felt herself a winner. Being asked of her name, she named herself with some jeer, “Lisa”. I couldn’t resist and asked her whether she is a licensed pharmacist who knows how to address to ill people. She confirmed it with no compunction. As a result, I was left with no medicine and in tears. People standing in line were looking at me with compassion while the pharmacist walked proudly to her stand. What should I do in such situation?=========I just found out:It looks like the pharmacy at Walmart # 5886 does a regular planned fraud. The pharmacist was extremely rude to me on purpose: to make me leave without a prescribed medicine. After that, the pharmacy charged my insurance. I just spoke to the insurance representative to stop any payments from this pharmacy.
Our family has lived in this area for 20 years and the service, expertise, promptness and care we get from the pharmacy staff at this location is outstanding. I wish they would have been available 20 years ago too.
Great place to buy discounted items
