Klassic Knightz really rolls out the Red Carpet!!In 2016, my 52nd birthday present to myself was a 2006 Lotus Elise Sport Package, 1 of 50 made that year, customized by Lotus for racing. That car took 20 years off me in pure driving pleasure. But there was a problem. I couldn’t find a repair shop that could work on it. None of the diagnostic computers could talk to it…..It got reactions ranging from, “we’re afraid to even touch it” to, “Heck yes, bring it in! We’ve never worked on a Lotus before !!”Ya,…...I might be a gal…but not a stupid one…..NO Thank you!!The closest competent exotics repair was over 200 miles away, I fretted about what I would do if something complicated happened to it. I got by tinkering with it myself while I searched.This year, on my birthday, the worst happened. I pulled her out of storage with my heart set on some sweet farfegnugen after a long winter and my “Hummingbird” was sick !! She was running rough, had no throttle response, and the power band wasn’t kicking in. I had to floor it just to be able to drive like Ms. Daisy. I had NEVER found the floor in that car.Where the HECK was I going to find a mechanic for THIS at 2am. I started having nightmares about a 1500 tow bill .Then I happened upon Klassic Knightz. Despite the fact their normal business hours are 10am to 10pm the proprietor answered the phone cheerfully and offered to help despite the crazy hour. By the time I pulled in Hummingbird was running on two cylinders. It’s weird how worried one can get about a car.At first I wasn’t sure…there weren’t a lot of newer exotics sitting around. There were LOTS of cool classics in various stages of resurrection and some nice imports. Bobby Cerra came out looking like he had been dragged around the shop floor for a couple of days, but he was amicable and eager to help.As he spoke it became glaringly apparent that his breadth and depth of knowledge about, and length of experience with the inner workings of even the most complicated engine far surpassed any automotive specialist I had encountered in my search thus far. His passion for anything with a motor made him empathetic to my plight. He also possessed a professional integrity and humility that clearly indicated he would research anything he felt required it. I could see he was very busy with multiple projects and expected to have to wait for weeks……but I was offered a loaner to drive home and he began work on the car at 4am. At 10 pm I got a call that the Hummingbird was ready. She not only ran better than she did when I bought her but she had been thoroughly detailed inside and out. She was Sparkling and no longer smelled like the horse barn she’d been stored in all winter. WOW! And the bill was a fraction of what I expected for the expertise, service and the speed.I took her out for a test drive and the Horror that dominated the prior evening evaporated into that spectacular exhilaration and euphoria only someone with a highly tuned Lotus can understand.HATS OFF TO KLASSIC KNIGHTZ!!BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!Would I recommend Klassic Knightz to my exotic enthusiast friends?You Betya!!

We were traveling on the highway when we blew a radiator hose. Making matters worse, it was 9:00 on a Sunday night. After a brief search online i came across Klassic Knightz...and they were open. The owner was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He had us up and running in no time. And at a more than reasonable rate, especially considering considering that it was a Sunday night. I would highly recommend Klassic Knightz to anyone looking for great service and very reasonable rates.

Best value in knowledgeable automotive care in Broome County, period. I had taken my car to 4 previous mechanics shops that had no clue how to fix the car, but certainly knew how to bill me! This shop can get the job done.
