I find the staff at New Horizons to be very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The office is welcoming, bright and cheery. They have a large selection of frames and very patient providers who are happy to help you get the frames you love. I have been getting glasses here for years and I have always been more than satisfied, I would recommend Phil and New Horizons to anyone.

I got my glasses here from some creepy guy but I thought the glasses were ok looking.I had lots of trouble seeing street signs and had an accident a week later after receiving the glasses from here.

Phil Weingart is probably the worst optician in the area. Messed up my prescription and my frame is bent at a weird angle. Asked him to fix it a few times and he brushed me off. Charges too much money too. Im going to Sams Club in the future for my glasses!

Extremely rude to customers. Overpriced trashy frames. I am surprised that they are able to stay in business with the awful attitude they gave me! Phil Weingart is a truly evil person. I wanted some new glasses, so next time I’m going elsewhere!

I have been a customer here for the past 23 years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They take the time to answer my questions and concerns, are available for repairs, and have never pressured me into buying a particular frame or lens package, even when it would mean more money for them if they did. The frame selection is large and has something for everyone. My whole family has been going here for years and will continue to go here, we are treated with courtesy and respect at all times. Phil is wonderful and will take the time to ask after different family members and remembers details from past discussions! Things are costly, but the quality is top notch.

Phil is the most rude, money hungry optician I have ever met. I wouldn’t get a pair of glasses from this man if they were free. He pushes you to buy the most expensive frames, lenses, and coating if you have good insurance. Doesn’t care if you need them or not. He was even threatening to me which I find completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and find another place to go for eyewear.

Unfortunately my mother paid over 500 dollars for prescription eyeglasses that Optician Phil Weingart made for her, only to find out after she had a serious case of dizziness from the strong lenses, that he filled the prescription wrong. He is now trying to blame the doctors office, when in fact he though the prescription was wrong and decided to fill it the way he thought was correct without ever notifying my mother. We called to ask that he fix the prescription with a courtesy for free due to it being his unprofessional decision making mistake to fill a script without a fax to confirm the script and to make that decision on his own. He became very belligerent and vulgar and refused to fix her eyeglasses. Now we are taking it to the attorney to get her money back and making a post so that everyone is aware how they treat customers when they make a mistake.
