Augustine Constucrion is not only professional but they really care about their customers. They go above and beyond to help in any situation. Originally when I signed my contract I had no leaks. One day it started pouring water into my bedroom. I called Them right up and they came to do my roof a couple days later. While the roof was in progress, I was worried about the rain and they came right over to put up new gutters in the back of the house. Everyone was so great, respectful and hard working. I highly recommend Augustine Constuction for any of your construction needs!

I was recommended Augustine Construction around the summertime last year (2020) for a new front window. From the moment I called for an estimate to the moment the window was installed, I was more than pleased. I got my proposal a few days after my estimate and a month later my window was installed. Very impressed with the professionalism, the time it took to complete my project, the communication and the quality of window is amazing. Work done on 07/05/21 2 new gutters 2 leaf filters .The one over back door bent the one over garage cut two short so garage flooded and water in basement. Leaf filter trying to keep me happy but contractors truck that cuts gutters has a transmission gone no others to fix this problem I guess in my area. They sent someone again yesterday and put a temporary fix on it hope it works PS many phone calls to Augustine left messages and never a call back and also appointments set no show to fix or calls to cancel TERRIBLE

I had hired them almost 2 years back for my roof project. they have explained me in detail what need to be done and gave me quote in few days. Cost for entire project was reasonable compare to other companies.Started work on schedule and finished as well. They did very good job for replacing entire roof and board on my house. They also installed free gutters.Only thing is cleaning need to be little better. I found some nails around house. not many though.

Excellent experience from beginning to end at a reasonable price. Owner, staff and crew were more than willing to answer my many questions before, during and after the project in a very timely manner. Exceptionally hard working, friendly and knowledgeable installers. Very pleased with the final outcome of the roof, gutters, gutter guards and clean up. Will highly recommend this company.

Crew was efficient and respectful.. cleanup was done daily & thoroughly.. any concerns were immediately addressed.. Showed up to give a roof estimate, 1 week later I call to find out where the quote is and is told it is coming. 2 more days and nothing, call business and no one answers. Most roofers can give a quote very quickly.If you either dont want the job ( which was 22 squares), or unable to handle the scope of a large job, just say and save everyone time and money.

From estimate to final cleanup Augustine Construction was professional and provided quality service. The roofing crew took their time getting the ice barrier and underlayment right, paid special attention to details at skylight, chimney, and valleys, and carefully shingled to provide a beautiful looking roof. The new gutter installation made the project look that much better. I was hesitant to use the Owen Corning product as Augustine is more recognized as a GAF installer, but the OC products were quality and the Augustine crew knew exactly how to install them. I would highly recommend Augustine Construction for roofing work.

I called them twice...got an answering machine..left messages..they never called back...guess my job wasnt important enough..they should a hire a real person to answer the phones..if they can afford it

Our rear deck roof was leaking and we had several estimates to replace the entire roof. Augustine came in the lowest and on a recommendation from someone we knew. It was a huge mistake to hire them because they never finished the job yet demanded payment. When I disputed the work not being done, the owner Tony threatened physical harm to me and that he would come up and destroy the work they had done. This is all after we paid him the contracted amount and they never finished the job. We still have a leaking roof and he is threatening to put a lien on our house. Would NEVER hire them again for anything.

Rubber roof installation. the trim of the roof where it meets the house was done very sloppily. Roofing glue down the side of my house and cigarette butts everywhere. I wanted them to be great. Good contractors are hard to find butt (pun intended) I was not happy with the job.

Recently had Augustine build an enclosed porch/sun room on the back of my house. Very pleased! Mark and his crew went out of their way to insure that the end result was exactly what I wanted. I would definitely consider them for future projects.

If you are looking for dependable, reliable, knowledgeable, and honest roofing or construction services, youve found it in Augustine Construction. Ive had to deal with roofing companies for three houses in three states and these folks win the award for best service. I found I had a small leak in my roof just as we were heading into winter. Most of the roofing comanpies I called in the area never bothered to return my call. Those I reached said they were shut down for winter and would come out the next spring(!) to give me a quote for replacing, but not repairing, my roof. Tony at Augustine Construction took pity on me and came out to look at the situation. We agreed I would need a new roof by next spring and he admitted they couldnt replace my roof before winter, but he sent once of his crew out to create a temporary repair that would get me through the winter — and it did. I signed a contract with Tony then and there and he left me with samples for choosing my new shingles. Then, right on schedule, Kim of Augustine Construction called to get my shingle preference, told me the crew would be out within a month — depending upon the weather — and sure enough, I got a call the day before they arrived. They finished the work in two days with the gutter crew slipping in and completing the job while I was out two days later. The place was cleaned up (with very minimal damage to my flower beds) just in time for a series of strong thunderstorms which proved everything was done right and tight. The only problem Ive had is the neighbor who didnt like me changing the shingle color from brown to charcoal. :-) Thanks, Tony, Kim, and the rest of the crew at Augustine Construction.

Even my neighbors have commented on how hard-working this crew was. My roof had 4(!) layers of shingles, but this company came in as the lowest estimate (including gutters, which was not always included in other estimates). They worked hard and did a beautiful job!

Augustine Construction recently replaced the roofs on my house, garage, patio and shed. Also replaced the house shutters and did minor repair work on the house exterior. Very pleased with the results. Have had many positive comments on the updated look. Highly recommend Tony Augustine and his company.

I contacted Augustine Construction to get an estimate on a partial roof replacement and siding repair and after 3 plus weeks, have received nothing from Tony after taking time out of my day to walk him through and explain my needs. He contacted me once a week or so after surveying the work to be done to discuss a siding substitution and wanted me to know he hadn’t forgotten me as he put it—but, then after another week or more had passed I contacted him and no return call. I called their office, left a message and no return call. They obviously have poor communication skills and pick and choose whom they follow up with and work for. At the very least a company should explain why they’ve chosen to move on without providing an estimate as promised. It’s unfortunate for Broome County that contractors like this outnumber the diligent, timely and trustworthy.Update: A few days after posting this I did receive written proposals for the repairs as discussed. I’m still disappointed that they didn’t communicate the timeframe for receiving said estimates as it’s just good business, but I’ld be remiss if I didn’t give them credit for finally following through. At first glance the estimates appear to be competitive.

Tony from Augutine construction contacted me in an effort to repair the leak that is in the ceiling. He has come out several times to try to find the source of the problem. Other than that his employees did a good job on the roof.
