Called on September 23rd to get a quote for my fifth wheel supreme, which got damaged during transportation from MI to FL. Was able to talk to Kevin, told me he was experienced in fixing campers and was the only one in the area who does this type of body work. We brought it in for a free estimate the next day, they seemed really kind and like they knew what they were doing. They said they will email over the quote the same day! We thought that was great! We received no email, and thought no big deal, things can take a little longer, so we waited and called the next day to ask, said he was wrapping things up. Fast forward to 10/15/2021, still havent received an email for the estimate. Between this time frame, we would call at least twice a week to see if any progress has been made, every time it was the same thing, were wrapping it up and will email it to you. Except once, we were told they were calling around looking for materials for the repairs, no worries thats understandable. On 10/13/21 we called again and was told the estimate is being wrapped up now and will be sent over. Still not receiving anything, on 10/15/21 we call again, and are informed that on 10/11/21 that they sat down and decided not to do the repairs, or send over the estimate that was supposedly being worked on for 3 weeks. While I can understand from a business stand point not being able to take on too much, or jobs that are too much time and money, Im very dissatisfied with the lack of communication and professionalism here. It is not too much to call someone and let them know once you figure out you wont be doing the work, or sending over the estimate, let alone with speaking to them after youve made this decision and saying something completely different. We feel as if our time has been completely wasted, while we shouldve been looking farther out for other body shops, unfortunately we put our trust into a business we shouldnt of.

Very nice people they do what they say there going to also they do a great job the shop is clean I would like to take time off of work and spend it there see if they can show me the correct way to buff my truck I bought a real nice buffer and know nothing about it also Kevin who owns the place does free hand graphics I would like to strip my truck

Started a 2000 F250 Superduty build at the start of COVID. The team of auto professionals is amazing. We started with Paint and ended with a bumper to bumper show truck, my plan their skills . Not only did Kevin, Steve and team help with great paint ideas -and execution. They also brought great ideas for 2 tone scheme/specialty touches/off road bumpers new trim and seals and dealt with me getting a winch and custom light package install. If you doing any upgrades or rebuilds this team is THE one to go to in all of SW FLA. Can’t say enough good quality business. I was so happy with the job done on my clear coat that I had them do my bumper repair even though they were a little more expensive than the other body shop. When I asked them how much it would cost to repaint my spoiler, the owner Kevin said that they would just go ahead and do it! These people are wonderful, they are very, very professional. They were more than happy to answer any questions and they even came and picked me up at my employers when my car was ready!I highly recommend this business and I’m telling everyone that I know to go there for any paint or bodywork. The people that I had contact with, Amanda and Stephen and the owner Kevin were a pleasure to deal with as well. Let’s support this business so that they stay here in Englewood!!

Kevin is a complete joke, Steer clear of this guy. Extremely unprofessional and lies through his teeth. Kevin had my 85 GMC and my dad 1937 Cadillac in his shop for restoration for a year and called every week to tell us how great my truck was coming along and how much progress he was making but didn’t want us to see it until he was finished. Kevin never touched either vehicle in the year they sat at his shop. When we decided to remove the vehicles from his shop he became a big tough guy with my 87 year old father yelling at him and throwing things. This guy is a liar and a coward, take your business else where.

They did a FANTASTIC job on my 04 Jeep Wrangler. It is in excellent shape, but the paint was dull, cracked, and lifeless!The process was simple! Drop it off, THEY removed all of my add ons, stripped the hood down to the steel, prepared the entire Jeep for paint, and then did a great job painting with R-M Paint & Clear Coat!Highly recommend Colors in Motion Auto Body and Custom Paint!

I had excellent results when I dealt with Stephen regarding a number of scratches on the hood of my car caused by a box cutter. He explained clearly what the repair would entail and how much it would cost. He gave me a 3-day window for completion of the work and even walked me to my car with an umbrella in the pouring rain. Amanda was polite and personable during our phone interaction. My car was ready in a day and a half and looks like it did when it was brand new. The price was reasonable and probably less than I would have paid at the dealer.I would highly recommend Colors in Motion for any body work/paint you might need in the future.

INSURANCE CLAIM? DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!Just paid this company $649 in cash to release my 2021 Ram truck after 9 days of fruitless negotiation between this company and State Farm. Was told payment could not be by credit card or check - cash only. Felt totally extorted as a vet with 35 years in the Department of Defense and multiple deployments. Let the Buyer Beware!!!

My 2008 Monaco LaPalma was not repaired to its original smooth surface. The poor workmanship was left with a rough sandpaper feel provided as a result of the work of Color In Motion . I spoke with Tommy (manager)seven times in a two month period he assured me that when I come back for the wiper covers that were broken by Color In Motion they would buff the areas that where painted by them. When I returned after two months Kevin the owner lost control of his mouth cursing as he towered over me. He will not buff the overspray on my RV. Color In Motion will not make good on repairing the poor workmanship and will try to intimidate you and told me to never come back. DONT WORRY I HOPE PEOPLE READ THIS REVIEW

Stay away from this body shop! Their work is atrocious! Travel to Venice or North Port and find a reputable body shop that knows what they are doing.

So i took my 2011 gmc sierra into Colors in Motion to get my tailgate repainted and to have new blind nuts welded into it for my gate protector. Tommy (seemingly nice guy), was the representative and submitted a quote which I accepted.A week later he told me it was ready for pick up so I went to get it and I was in the service bay as they reattatched the tailgate to the truck we noticed a big 3” section of rust flaking off the bottom lip... when I asked Tommy about it he said he would have them use a paint brush to cover it with rhino lining at which point I was like “what?”..... no...When you get your tailgate painted, does that not mean painting THE TAILGATE, top, sides bottom, etc?...even if something became exposed during their sanding/prepping of the gate? The guy in the shop said they even inquired about it in the office when they saw it. But Instead of someone calling me and saying an issue has arose or more $ is required... they painted up to the rust from the front and left it. Id already paid the $440 cash or id have not done so.Tommy agreed it was handled incorrectly and agreed to fix it if i waived a warranty... which I agreed to. He asked me to give him a week to do other stuff then hed tell me when to drop it off. After 2-3 weeks and not hearing from him, I called the owner.... Kevin.... almost INSTANTLY, bellows out it was not his problem, hes not fixing it. I informed him Tommy already agreed to fix it and Kevin states that its his shop and hes not fixing anything for free....He told me that they did what I paid them to do and after him arguing and cussing me repeatedly, I hung up in disbelief.They do half a$$ work, hide things if they can, and tell you its not their problem.This owner is only in it for himself... all they had to do was call me to tell me this may cost more than we thought so I could make a decision... He literally told me word for word, on speakerphone.... “If he had to stop and call a customer everytime they found rust, he’d spend all day calling people”.... so in other words they spend all day trying to hide rust.... not fixing it....Find a reputable body shop if you want good customer service and a quality job.
