October 2021 I took my Dodge van in because of a check engine light. This could have meant an expensive problem, but the men at Englewood Auto found something simple and fixed it the same day. Very honest and helpful.

They were able to get me in quick for what seemed like a simple issue. Turns out it wasnt as simple as we thought, and a part was on back order. Even with the challenges my car presented they were able to get me fixed up and back on the road super quick and at a great price! Very excited to have a reliable auto repair shop, I plan to bring them my business from now on.

Oof, I wish I could write a great review for this shop. Scott and team were initially very helpful with a vehicle inspection as first time customers. Per his advice, we sold that car and acquired another vehicle at his recommendation, which had significant issues. To be fair, he was willing to help repair for a reduced rate but it has been a challenge since. About four months later, we still dont have a fixed car.

They did an awesome job on my oil pan and valve cover gasket! So much that another mechanic commented on their work! Saying, it was a super professional, clean job.

I came in for an oil change and investigation of knocking noise under my hood. The receptionists Amanda and Scott was incredible and very helpful and the mechanics were awesome. The owner, better, (same owner of better cars located next door to the mechanic shop) once again was extremely patient and understandable. Reliable work, fast and friendly and great prices. I would recommend this mechanic shop to anyone needing repairs.

Englewood Auto Repair has been great for us. We have taken three service vehicles in over the last month and they have been quick, efficient, fair and had good communication. Amanda and Scott have been very good communicating with us what needs to be done and what options are available. The mechanic Kyle I believe has been amazing for us as well. He fixed some damage to the engine caused by another shop down the street. We thought were going to have to replace the engine, but he was able to fix the problem for a fraction of the price of engine replacement. This will definitely be our shop moving forward!

I was in an no fault accident in January where I slammed into someone who ran a red light. I thought for sure my 4 year old car was totaled. I took my car to Englewood Auto as I wanted to support my local business and didnt want to use American Families shop as in my experience they cut corners and rush jobs for their insurance vendors. Im so happy I did; Scott the owner was not only super professional, polite and patient, he helped battle American Family to restore my car back to its original condition but better. The auto body mechanic took time to show me his work and was genuinely cared about doing the best job possible. Thank you Englewood Auto Body for everything. I will be back for all my maintenance needs knowing I can support a A+ local business and that my car will be taken care of with honest hard working folks who take pride in their work!

Scott and his crew went above and beyond in that they got my car in immediately, fixed it right away, and had me on my way in no time despite the fact that it had several repairs needed. I was very impressed with their speed and concern. Ill definitely return to this shop!

I’ve been to plenty auto mechanic shops and Englewood Auto Repair Shop, is by far the best shop I’ve ever experienced. The customer service by Amanda and communication by her is pleasant, knowledgeable and clear. My truck was a challenge because I have an “Interlock” device which entails proper codes and special handling. The manager Scott and Mechanic Adam both knew and have worked on an interlock before, and really made the troubleshoot easier and smoother. I will be a repeat costumer over and OVER again- Mad Luv and thank you very much; Amanda, Scott and Adam 11/13/2020.

Other than ordering my parts takin longer than Id hope for they were great. They slid my car in with little notice and worked hard and fast.Will be back.(Pics soon)

They were going to charge me $920 to repair my air conditioning on my p/u. My personal mechanic fixed it for $40! No J.B. WELD!

DONT GO HERE.Came for a compression test and they claimed 5 cylinders were weak and 1 cylinder was really bad. They then told the guy trying to buy my truck that they wouldn’t buy it if they were him. Then he leaves and they turn around and try and buy my truck for cheap. Well I don’t believe their test, I’ve taken great care of my vehicle and something seemed weird to me. So I go home and run my own compression test. My test showed 175 on ALL CYLINDERS. These guys are shady and trying to just buy cars for the used car lot they own next door and get others to buy their cars. Would give this place 0 stars if I could. DONT TRUST THEM!

Englewood Auto Body and Repairs have outstanding service! They have reliable, hardworking, efficient and trustworthy staff! The management and all staff were very kind, helpful, respectful, and professional. They are more than reasonable and fair when it comes to pricing. They finished, serviced and repaired my car in a timely manner and with good quality repairs as well. They also ensured that the car I bought from their Dealership Better Cars was reliable and well serviced. All of the staff and technicians are very knowledgeable and experienced in what they do. They have taken care of me and some of my friends and we are all more than pleased with the work that has been done. They have been professional and thorough and have given my vehicle the best service its ever received. They are fair in the pricing for services done and they have been timely, especially considering the amount of work that they do. If you bring your car for services, you will be more than happy.

Had my son go in for a estimate on Friday, June 19th. They said he would have the estimate later that day. Nope and not over the weekend because they are closed on weekends. Called Monday, spoke to Scott who is the Manager now he says, system down but would have it later on Monday. Nope, Tuesday spoke to Scott, system up logging on, would have it by the afternoon. Called afternoon now it would be by 10am Wednesday. 10am Wednesday no estimate... get the picture. Called at 2pm Scott said done and would send in 10 minutes. At 3pm said 4 people standing in line in front of him. Sent my son to get it as they are just around the corner. Only one person in line, Scott said hes been on the phone with parts for 2 hours, and still wouldnt hand him the estimate. The lies never ended, asked to speak to Dave the owner Scott says Dave retired 3 weeks ago... Dave this guy is going to run your business into the ground... found you from your reviews, but now WOULDNT dream of letting this company touch the car as this was the nonsense just to try and get an estimate.

I have never actually had repairs done here, but am extremely impressed with my experience. I spoke with dave regarding some issues with my Honda Accord; after giving some preliminary information, he was able to identify the most likely cause(s) and told me the cost of repairs wouldn’t justify the value of the car. Instead of having me bring it in (and pay) for nothing, he was honest with me and suggested I put it up on CL as a ‘fixer’ upper. I’ll need to buy another vehicle now but I feel confident that when I need some work done to it…this place is going to be honest and treat me right.Thanks again Dave!

I wanted to share my expirience with Englewood Auto Repair, Im from Dallas tx and came to visit family in the middle of July of this year 2020, Ive driven my van further than this before without any problems. Once I got there 121/2 hrs later my van started having problems with the alternator all the warning lights turned on indicating that my alternator was not charging my battery. I called a few places and most could not even see me on the same day nor could complete the repairs until a few days and in some two weeks later while I was on vacation. Big thank you to Scott L. and his crew for taking my call, getting it towed to the shop and getting the repair done the same day and a few hrs later I was back on the road. The service I got from Scott and the crew he uses for towing were excellent. Needless to say the first alternator did not work but due to the company they use with lifetime warranty on the part while I was still out there I brought the van back due to the same problem and both warranty on the alternator, which took care of them, and their fast service on my way back to Texas, they were able to reinstall a new alternator to get me back home on that same day. I can express enough gratitude to the owner and people like Scott that really want to take care of their customers, I was given a fill up on my gas tank, which they did not have to do but did it anyways to take care of my needs and get back home, these kinds of gestures by a shop makes them worth what work they did for me and felt gladly to pay for this kind of service. Thank you EAR&BS and the wonderful customer service and work you provide. My apologies on the delay of my Review.

Heres the thing...sometimes youre at the mercy of the auto shop. They can tell you you need this or that or the other thing and really, how do you know if theyre being honest? This week I had my car at Englewood Auto (Ive had great service there previously) thinking for sure I needed new brakes - they had started squeaking. Dave very easily could have told me Yup! You need new brakes. But he didnt. He was honest. He told me my brakes were in great shape - just a little glaze causing the issue. So there you have it - honesty and good service.

Well I will try and make it short. My husband started buying parts at the end of last year and finished at the beginning of this year... Then he died April 30th. Then to obey the trust I had to move out of a home of 27 years. The day of the funeral the last person in line was the eldest sister-in-law. She glares and asked ready to go to the house? Thanks to my son and daughter they moved me into a place I inherited. The swamp cooler needed work or replaced, the guy left me with a river on the roof, I have a new one now. Then the hot water heater started leaking $2,000.00 later due to upgrading...We all know what it is like when we have to take vehicles to the shop.This has been the BEST thing that has happened this year!!! I asked Dave if he was sure, he said I can double or triple it if you want...THANK YOU ENGLEWOOD AUTO REPAIR!!! You are a Blessing

I took my car here and they did a great job of fixing her up! The most amazing thing is that not only did they do the work that was needed, Dave also researched one of the main issues my Volvo was having and found that it was actually a recall! He called to let me know that for that one issue I should take it to the Volvo dealership to have it repaired for free! I would have never known that there was a recall, Dave could have just ordered the part and fixed it and sent me the bill and I would have paid it! So impressive to work with such honesty - saved me $1000.00! Thank you, Dave!!

I LOVE my mechanics here. Ive taken my car to them since I bought it over ten years ago. Ive experimented looking around and have always come back here. They have the BEST prices, and excellent service. I can always trust Dave to tell me what repairs I need to invest in and what can be put off. When I needed a new engine for my car -- I took my car around to get quotes from 4 other places and they came in $3k less than everywhere else. --Seven years later my car still runs GREAT! I have Toyota Corolla and recommend them to everyone.

Have always thought very highly of Englewood Auto and in many ways still recommend them; however, over the last several months have paid several times for electrical repairs and they still arent working correctly. Just disappointing not any reason to nor recommend them. They usually do fantastic work.

Owner is petty. Zealously defends his parking lot as if his business is booming and ONE car in his empty lot is worth sticking passive aggressive sticky notes on. If he had ANY signs posted saying its a private lot, I could give him some sympathy for his frustration.If this is how he treats potential customers (I was roaming the area for local businesses and stopped for a beard trim next door), I cant imagine how scummy the rest of his business is. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere.Edit to owners response: the character of the business owner has everything to do with the business they run. If youre willing to place a sticky note on my window, and unwilling to post adequate signage stating not to park there, other potential customers reading these reviews deserve to take that into account when deciding to do business with you.If you cant shell out the cash for adequate signage, where else can one assume you might be cutting corners? Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Today is the last day I will ever use Englewood Auto Repair. I have been a customer for twenty years and today i asked Dave if he could allow me to pay half of an unexpected $700 bill in two weeks. He said immediately no. I have literally spent thousands, probably $15,000 at this shop over the past. I have always paid immediately upon pick up but have had extraordinary circumstances lately. While never overtly rude, Dave has always been a cold inhospitable personality. Someone destined for under the car not the front desk. I have tolerated mechanical errors, overcharging, etc. over the years. It you dont mind spending a lifetime going to someone who you will never have a relationship with and who will view you as someone they have never seen before, go ahead. I wish I had invested somewhere else. Frankly, Dave doesnt give a damn if you go to his shop or somewhere else. So I am.

The absolute worst costumer service Ive ever experienced in my life.They will not update you on the progress of your vehicle unless you call them first. When you do call, theyll make up a completion date and fail to meet it. They will not apologize for anything. Get used to hearing, Not my problem.If you dare to bring your vehicle to this shop, make sure you have a long term source of transportation, because you wont be getting your vehicle back anytime soon.Lastly, when you pick up your vehicle, dont tell them your upset about your experience or theyll violently slam the door as you leave the shop.Or maybe that was just my experience....

The worst experience dealing with an auto repair shop ever!!!! Paid 800 dollars for repairs that I don’t even know was fixed!!!!! Thought these guys was professionals, when I called to ask about why my car wasn’t working like when I dropped it off, the owner Dave cursed me out and being the the outstanding professional he was said I don’t know how the mode changed when they put a part on my car..... BEWARE of this shop!!!!!!!
