Jay did a great job fixing my carb and dyno tuning my 66 Mustang. He was clear about what had to be repaired and explained things very thoroughly. I had been having trouble with the car for months and he was able to sort everything out in a couple of weeks. The car makes more power, torque and starts and runs better than it ever has. Prices are very fair and the work is top notch. Highly recommend.

Jay has diagnosed and solved carburetor problems on several of my old cars during the years I have known him. Ive taken an RV to The Carburetor Shop for a carburetor rebuild before and had good service. I took my current motorhome to Jay to get it to pass emissions. He did a great job explaining to me what the problems were and fixed them right the first time. The RV passed emissions with flying colors. There are mechanics out there who will play with your carburetor and take your money, but Jay is a real expert. There arent many like him left. I highly recommend the Carburetor Shop.

I brought in my 1984 Subaru DL to be worked on. I needed a carburetor adjustment and after a week of leaving it there they were able to improve the performance on my car. Car wasnt left like i wanted for what i paid so i ended up swapping the carburetor entirely myself. Guess i was trusting this place to give more options on improving performance on such old car but instead they just made an expensive cleaning.

Took my 73 C-10 to Mile High and these guys knocked it out. I was looking online to find a shop that could work on old school set up and no issues here(formerly The Carburetor Shop). The truck was having starting and timing issues. These guys knocked them out and got it running better then ever. They kept me informed about what was going with the truck from what I requested to done to stuff they recommend it gets in future. I heard about the guys over at The Carburetor Shop (now Mile High Performance & Dyno) on the Wille Bs Garage show. I was having a hard time getting my Carb tuned right and wanted to get a Dyno of the truck after the engine rebuild anyway so I gave them a shot. I dropped off the truck and what I got back blew away my expectations. They were able to get the truck tuned in and running smooth at 367 HP with 380 ft lbs of torque.Jay gave me feed back on other issues they discovered during the process of getting it fixed. This was the best part for me because they told me what they found and then classified it based on what they though was mandatory versus optional repairs. Jay didnt try and sell me anything extra he just said here is what needs to be done so I could do it myself if I wanted too. Ultimately I had them do all the fixes.These guys are rock stars if you want to get your vehicle dialed in correctly. Very polite, professional and great technical expertise. The bonus to all of this was that their pricing for all the work was well under what I had thought it was going to cost me.

Best place ever for your carburetor needs

I brought my car to the carb shop it was a 1968 Firebird with a 400 engine in it 400 turbo transmission 4:10 gear ratio. Jay had the car for about a month thats the time it takes to get in line then one day he called me said my car was done told me to come down and drive it with him and thats when things changed if its the best experience ever after that I could not believe how well my car performed after that it was the most unbelievable thing ever . The next thing I did is took it to the race track and I was doing 13 second quarter miles. My car is nothing special like most of the cars that are down there but if you dont take your car there and get the experience that he gives you youll never have the fun of driving your car with your family at the racetrack around town like he did for me. Theyre the greatest people for high performance just let them do their job getting in line way for your car and have a lot of fun thank you thank you thank you carb shop you are the best!

Carburetors are Jays specialty. I call him the carb whisperer. I recommend his talent to any one who needs carburetor work done.

Awesome service

I came across this shop by mistake, and a great mistake it was. I needed a carb tuned and Jay was the man. I just finished a build and they put it on the dyno. Not only did he get it tuned for what I set up. But suggested a few minor and cheap changes that yeiled easily another 60hp, with dyno sheets to show. Ill be back for another dyno in a couple weeks on a new build!

Brought my vehicle down for a quick dynameter baseline, I was completely disappointed with jay and his dyno services. For the price I paid, I expect to have wideband readings. I was told that would be an extra charge. What? To put a quick sniffer in the tail pipe???? My god! You have to be kidding me, Jay is a joke. I wont pay extra for wideband readings that should be included. Hell, Id have been happy with 2pulls and wideband readings. Then 3 pulls with no readings... This place is a joke! Take your vehicle elsewhere. I wont be going back.
