If you go to Tire Kingdom on McCall Rd in Englewood for an oil and filter change you better make sure they don’t forget to put your oil cap back on your engine.By the time I got the car home I smelled oil and found engine oil had sprayed all over the engine fire wall.I found the oil cap laying under the engine.Made a messNever Again would I trust these peopleGo somewhere else to have your car serviced

My tire pressure warning light came on and I stopped at Tire Kingdom in Englewood and the man who is usually behind the desk came out and filled all my tires. I have always received great service from them.

Had an appointment at 11:00am. Dropped car off at 8:00am. I was told I would only be a couple of hours. By 1:20pm they still had not taken my car back. When I inquired as to why, I was told that they only had 1 guy working (other than the guy at the desk). While I can sympathize with their current plight, they could had at least called and informed of the situation. So, ended up taking my car elsewhere. Will never use again as they lack serious communication skills.

I dont review often, but this is as honest a review as I can give about my experience at the South McCall service center.I came in for a quote for four tires. Obviously trying to make a sale, the individual I was dealing with gave me a price for presumably the highest priced tire for my application. So I had them print the quote for me and I left. I went home and looked on their website to search for something a little more custom tailored for my application. I ended up finding a set of tires that were reasonably priced and fit the criteria that I had laid out. But I couldnt order them, upon clicking the button, I was redirected to an entirely different tire. So I called. I told the associate which tire I was trying to purchase and was informed that it was discontinued. But the individual worked with me and found a set of the discontinued tires, and had me put a deposit down before having them shipped. I was told I would get a call when the tires were received, but I never got a call. Almost two weeks later I called, asking about my tires. They told me that they had been delivered, so I made an appointment. On the day of the appointment I dropped off my vehicle to let them work on it. Upon signing the repair order, I explained to the employee that I know the vehicle needs a lot of work, and asked for a list of recommended repairs. I was also told that a free alignment check is done with every set of tires installed. When I picked up the truck and paid the remaining balance, I received no repair recommendations nor an alignment report.As far as the tires go:The tires ride smooth and comfortably. Whoever balanced them has it down to an art 👌.For some reason, however, it was never noted that my RF wheel bearing has play and is makes a noise. Nor that my power steering pump whines and doesnt work properly and needs replacement. Nor the blown shocks in the front, or any of the other various things that should have been checked upon removing the wheels from the vehicle. When I paid the balance, it was never mentioned to me that anything had been checked, or that anything had been found in bad condition. As with any 250+ thousand mile vehicle, you would think that something would be worth noting to replace or repair.Now... I understand that the workforce is in dire need of employees at this time, and that this location is most likely understaffed in the shop. BUT, it really doesnt take very long to check these things and not them down on the repair order. I know this from 10+ years of experience as an automotive repair technician...I give this business 3 out of 5 stars because the work that was performed, was done impeccably. Adding that they were able to make me an appointment even though they were booked almost two months out. Nobody was rude, or short with me. Everyone had a good attitude. But the entire service experience was found to be seriously lacking.

I have had many great experiences. The newest one-I had a nail in my tire. They were willing to fix it, but I knew they were old so decided to purchase new ones. Dave was so helpful and located the tires. I had to wait 1/2 hour for the delivery from Port Charlotte. I asked to have an oil change while I waited for the tire. Dave who has wonderful customer service skills did that without charge. I highly recommend this business.

Spoke with Dan on Friday 2-21-2020 he was going to order me two tires 205/50R17 from another store to be delivered and put on with an alignment on Saturday 2-22-2020. After waiting for a phone call to have tires put on vehicle, I decided to call and spoke with Dan again. He seemed very confused about me ordering $450 worth of two tires 24 hours ago. Needless to say the tires were never ordered. Very upset, I could have gone somewhere else that had the tires in stock that day, but I felt I would be courteous and give Dan and tire kingdom my business since I’ve used this location several times before. I won’t be going back with my loyal service.EDIT- I called Tires Plus a few doors down from TireKingdom. Told them my issue with TK they had the same tires in stock and also gave me a 10% off to keep me as a customer. And I’m paying $283 installed with alignment. I definitely feel taken advantage of by Dan and TireKindom trying to charge $450 for 2 tires!! How do you sleep at night!!

Had an appointment for an oil change at 12:00. They took the car in a little early. Oil change also inluded battery check and tire rotation (had previously had tires installed by Tire KIngdom). They also did a check and made recommendations on fluid changes that were recommended at 60,000 miles. Techs were informative and clear in their explanations. Would definitely recommend Tire Kingdom.

Friendly staff and quick service. I went in thinking I needed a tire patched but I failed to notice a screw sticking through the sidewall. They didnt have my brand of tire but had one with similar tread pattern. They had it changed out in less than 20 minutes.

Worst place ever!!! Do not go here! Bought 4 new tires a few months ago and it took a long time. I dont mind waiting as long as the work is done right. Well had one damaged because I hit something on the road and was losing air. When I called to have them look at it he told me they didnt have the time. Called tires plus down the road and they told me they could check it out but doing any service might be a problem which is all I was asking for. Tires plus told me tire was damaged beyond repair. They also pointed out that the opposite tire on front end was worn and it could be the alignment. Order a new tire at Tire Kingdom and made an appointment to have them put it on and check the alignment which in my opinion they should fix for free cause they did it less then 10,000 miles ago. He gave me an attitude when I said that. It took over 3 hours for them to mount and balance one tire even though I had made an appointment. They were quoting people who were walk ins the same wait time. Why make an appointment? When they finally finished I asked about the alignment and he told me they didnt have the time and I had to make another appointment just for that!! Also my mother paid with a credit card over the phone and her credit card was charged for other purchases over the next couple of days. Not saying it was definitely them but that is quite the coincident if it wasnt. That is currently under investigation. Please please dont go here. Tires plus is right down the road and they are friendly and more knowledgeable on the work they do.

3 hrs 15 mins to change and balance tires.

Went there for an oil change and tire rotation. Personally, I don’t trust them. They went through my glove box (which is semi understandable) and left most of the components (including my insurance card) from my glove box on the front passenger side floor.

Absolutely terrible service. Oil change took 2 hours and 15 mins with an appoinment. Then gave me a qoute for $1100 for unwanted and uneeded service. Manager did not care at all. Would gie a zero star if available.

Greast service and competitive prices. Took a bit longer than I expected, but they were busy. Waiting area was great. Had 2 young kids and they were good watching tv, looking through magazines and just playing.

Went in for a simple tire fix (nail in tire). The manager looked at the tire and said should not take long. After the tire guy put the car on the rack he came in to the manager and said I need a new tire. ( They must get paid on up sells and commission ) Being a former mechanic for over 25 years I knew I did not need a tire. I took my car out of there and went down the street to Sterns Auto and my tire was patched in 15 minutes. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Tire Kingdom unless you dont mind paying for needless repairs.

I feel like this place is just waiting to scam you please be careful and know your stuff because we had just gotten 4 new tires from here and my husband went back with car a few months later for something else and they actually told him the tires were going to be needing a change soon ..

Had a great deal on tires, but that was about it. Brought my vehicle to get the tires...get a call about needing new brake pads so i say do it. Then i get my vehicle back and it shimmys and the brakes are squeaky. I bring it back a week later. Had a 7 am appt they say it will be done by 1. My wife gets there and the the vehicle is still in the bay and its getting new rotors put on. I got no explanation for why i was getting new rotors. They were fine when the guy put on the pads. They didnt charge me for them but obviously the technician screwed something up the first time. To say the least i cant recomend this store. This was my first visit and probably my last.

What a joke! We are 2 1/2 hours from home and ran a flat head screwdriver through the tire. Plugged it enough to get to the Tire Kingdim so that it can be patched or replaced. Their website states they are open until 7 p.m. Pulled into the shop at 5:05 and was told they weren’t taking any more jobs today.... they don’t close for 2 hours!!! The man at the counter was unfriendly, rude and unsympathetic to our needs.

I had made an app for 7/24/2017 to have new tires put on my vehicle along with an alignmient so when i called to pick up my car i was informed it wold be ready in 15 min so i drove over to wait as i arrived i see no car as i asked where my car was they informed me he was test riding the car i have had many front end alignmients done with no test drives so a few min later i hear my car whipping around Sand Casa onto MCcall road like he was racing the Dayonta 500 I freaked out on tbe fella driving my car nothing was even done about it i was informed the mgr would call me about it nothing and also on my door he must of had somthing on his pants like some type of chemical because there is a mark on my door skin inside Respect Peoples Things!!!is the lesson here

Took my vechicle in less than a month ago for oil change and have brakes checked was taking a trip north came bk w family including an infant only to have my abs and rsc lights come on took it bk yesterday after diagnostics was done I was handed estimates totaling over $2000 all four brakes were bad actually nothing on my back brakes hubs in the front CV axle and rotors and my battery was leaking acid?? Seriously Charlie informed my nephew that none of this just happened since I brought it in last and someones head was going to roll… When I went in today and spoke to Lewis he informed me he was told I refused to pay the diagnostic charges mind you one I asked several times what I owed in order to pick up my vehicle and two was told by Charlie he could not charge me since the original order was not signed. And above all if I owed this then why was my vehicle released without payment? And Lewis tried telling me that the work that needed to be done now happened within the last couple of weeks as if I was an idiot!!! There were absolutely no pads on my back brakes that happens over time not three weeks the actual manager is on vacation but I fully intend to make contact with him as well as the owner of Tire Kingdom!! TG I did not have an accident as it could very well not have turned out well for anybody!!

Went in for an oil change, came out with 3 loose bolts on front drivers wheel??

The people who run this shop are absolute pieces of s**t. Girlfriend brought her car in for a grinding noise in left driverside tire. I came to pick her up she told me that they were going to run a diagnostic. Asked her how much she said $120.00. Really $120? Because when I went in to make the appointment I was told that it would be 89.00. FORD charges $89.00. So how in 24 hours did the price jump to $120 so already I know theres some BS going on. Ok, but it gets better. So I follow the him on his test drive. He doesnt know I was behind him. Now the problem occured when you make a left turn. She specifically told him left turn. He makes 5 RIGHT turns and back to the shop. Not ONE single left turn. He stuttered and didnt know what to say when I told him I followed him and watched him make all right turns. Took the car to Ford. Didnt need a diagnostic total for the repair was 179.00. Problem was on the axle. This business is called tire kingdom if you didnt catch the irony. Theyre rip off artist who prey on the elderly and women. And message to tire kingdom here in Englewood. When you hear a Northern accent it doesnt mean you get to rip us off. We are not the ones known for being slow. Just something to think about.

Went there for new tires, alignment, and get a lug nut stud replaced. Was first quoted $80-100 for the stud, then durring the service they said it was more work than originally quoted and they didnt have the time or manpower to do it that day. They said it would be around $150 to do the stud. I went to another automotive shop and they replaced the stud and I got an oil change for $78. Dollars this place is a rip off and they stole my chrome valve stem caps and replaced them with regular black ones. Pissed

I had purchased tires at NTB and the paperwork said this was the local store that could help me. I went in with a completely separated tire, metal exposed, fully willing to purchase new tires, but expecting that my 40K warranty would apply or offer some sort of discount. The guy who helped me, did not help. He simply refused to honor the warranty without proof of alignments. I didnt care about the warranty - I cared about getting safely back on the road, and also getting a quality tire, since whatever I was sold was extremely unsafe. Even after saying I just needed to get my car fixed, this guy kept on about needing all service records before he could help, which I didnt have with me.I ended up walking out of the store to find somewhere else to go, because of his lack of customer service skills. If you have a customer there ready to spend money, you dont give them a hard time about owner responsibility - you offer to help find a solution. Fortunately, there is another shop in Venice that was perfectly willing and able to provide service to me, under warranty, and I now am back on the road safely. No thanks to Tire Kingdom of Englewood. They obviously care more about profit than anything and have no regard for customer safety. There are plenty of places to buy tires - Id go anywhere other than here.A final note - if you are looking for warranty work through NTB or other affiliated chain, do not go to Englewood - go to Venice. Im not sure if others have had the same experience, but it would be interesting if Englewoods Tire Kingdom policy is simply to get out of doing warranty work. I had no problems in Venice at all, and they handled it the way one would expect - professionally. They were also horrified at the condition of the tire and apologized for how I was treated at Englewood. So just go to Venice to start with and save yourself time & hassle.
