Honest! Professional and quick. Went in for routine maintenance and a small issue due to running over a curb.Jay is the man! He repaired my car at a very fair cost and didn’t try to upsell like every dealership has done to me in the past.He has a loyal customer going forward. Please bring your Audi or VW to them. You won’t be disappointed!

Made an appointment over the phone for an oil change on my audi thats out of audi warranty, drove in and they promptly serviced my car. The mechanic test drove my car, checked all the filters and oils as well as other basic safety inspection while getting my engine oil changed. Price was reasonable and service was excellent. Thank you Jay and Wagon Works, I’ll be back!

Good, honest, experienced mechanic. Probably not the cheapest, but I learned a few years ago that a cheap mechanic can be very expensive. Its worth going to someone who will do the job right.

Jay is very knowledgeable regarding German cars. I have been going to his shop for 2 years for basic service and I am pleased with his work.

Jay continues to work his magic on the 22 years young Audi A4 wagon and (lets keep our fingers crossed) got it through inspection and well keep rolling along for the next two years on the sticker.

What an amazing experience! I am so happy I found and tried this place. Not only was the tech very knowledgeable, he worked fast as well. He got to the bottom of the actual problem instead of changing a whole bunch of parts just guessing and checking. The price I paid wasnt even a fraction of what I had been quoted in other places. I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of VW service. I will definitely be coming back!

I brought the vehicle in and the mechanic ran the codes at no charge, which I highly appreciated. However, the mechanic also concluded that the vehicle needed a new turbocharger and proposed a ~$2000 service. The mechanic did not mention the possibility that all the car might need is a fuel induction service. I brought my car to another mechanic who did that service and now the car runs great and there is no check engine light.

Best mechanic Ive ever encountered. Jay legitimately attempts to diagnose problems and fixes them. Hes not like shady mechanics or dealer shops that want to screw you out of every dollar you have. The VW dealer shop lied to me and told me one thing and wanted me to fix things for $3000, things that werent necessary. Jay figured things or and fixes my car for $300 instead. More recently my car had a problem that isnt obvious, he had the car for a few days and tried 4 or 5 things that were recommended to fix the symptoms. Unfortunately its not fixed yet and theres a bigger thing were going to try, but even the first 4 or 5 little things it couldve been wouldve cost me over a grand at the dealer all while they lie and bullshit me around. Jay at Wagon Works told me exactly what hes doing and what hes tried and charged me what it should cost, only a hundred dollars.Basically, this guy is honest and reasonable. And thats a difficult combination to find in a mechanic. I highly recommend this place.

Have an Audi Q7- I had a very complicated and potentially expensive MMI Control Knob issue (not working after spilling soda on the console)- the problem was the MMI circuit board was fried. This is an excellent mechanic- was able to diagnose the problem and install a new circuit board - at a great savings over replacing the whole unit.

My experience at WagonWorks was great. While they are only open on weekdays, they are quick to set up appointment and provides QUALITY work and good prices. I had suspension work done on my Audi a4 B7 and Jay was knowledgable in replacing items he recommended to do like bushings and control arms. Definitely a hidden gem in the Bergen County area. They also work on BMWs so I might take my e90 3 -series there if I needed work done. If you are looking for a Audi/VW/BMW specialists, Wagon Works is your place. Thumbs up.

I had a great experience at this shop. Its clear they have lots of experience with VWs and Audis from all eras. They were great at diagnosing the problem (even over the phone) and proposing the most likely solution. Jay is very professional and experienced. I agree that he is the quintessential VW guy.

Ive taken my 2001 Jetta VR6 to several other shops in the past before meeting Jay. After one visit with him, I knew I officially had a VW guy. He found every problem with the car that all the other mechanics missed or screwed up, and was nothing shy of up front and honest about what needed to be done and what could wait. Hes NEVER been pushy like the other shops despite knowing what kind of work could be done, and has always been incredibly fair in pricing. Since Ive been coming to him, Ive never had to return for the same problem. He gets the job done right, and he gets it done the first time. If you havent visited Jay, I highly recommend you do so before going ANYWHERE else. You WONT be disappointed.
