Hands down the BEST and FASTEST auto service shop. I got my car back in 2 days when it needed TONS OF WORK. I was in shock when I got a call that it was all good to go. And as if that wasn’t surprising enough, I get a call from Danny at the front desk a day later asking how I liked the service and how the car was performing. Just a quick follow up call. Who does this still in 2021? Unreal.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this shop!! I went to three different places and was always sent home with no solution or even ideas until I came here. Z and Danny called me every step of the way, explained everything clearly, never gave up on my car, and finally figured out the fix after no one else could. I appreciate their team tremendously!

Had them change out transmission and transfer fluid. They were excellent and they even cleaned out my engine bay and refilled fluids that were low for no charge. This is the best shop ever.

I asked for a quote on how much it would cost to put in an air compressor that I had purchased somewhere else and charge my my a/c he said $250 I asked them is that including the recharge of my A/C he said yes. When I dropped my car of an hour later they said it wasnt the price for the recharge. I told him no that is what he quoted me. He said ok we will do it that price. 65 hour later they called and said my compressor is working but no cold air. He wanted another $200 to see what is wrong. I told him no I would take somewhere else. I took it to another shop and they said there was no freon input in 3 cans of fro the A/C. And there was no leaks. They was trying to get more money. Never will I go back to them. Thieves is what they are!!!

Chose Z based on the reviews. I dont know a ton about cars but they were responsive and communicative regarding the status of my car. Also friendly staff. Cheers.

Took my hyundai to Z auto service after having the local meineke take over a month to do some simple repairs. I felt totally defeated about getting these repairs done after the local meineke had taken 1800$ for them and I was still having the same issue. meineke then wanted another 1300 for other issues, so I decided to get a second opinion.. thats where Z comes in, Danny at the front desk is the model of customer service every shop should have, he immediately made me feel i was in a reputable place and was patient and understanding with me as I described the issues Ive been having. He assured me theyd take a thorough look at it, and inspect meinekes work. They confirmed that the work meineke had done was correct, but the work they were trying to get me in for wasnt necessary. They only charged me .5 hours for the time they spent looking at it and by the time I was driving it again i felt fully confident and safe, not to mention they saved me over $1000. Danny and the technicians that day made a customer for life, and im looking forward to a long relationship with a mechanic i trust.

Ive been to more than my fair share of repair shops since I owned my first car. For the most part, my experience with these shops has been less than what I would call enjoyable. However, I was pleasantly suprised at this shop. My windshield wipers were not working in a down pour of rain.Not only did they fit me in a half hour before they were scheduled to close, have time to fix the problem, but replaced a reverse back up light as well. Most shops I called, some of which did not close for another hour to an hour and a half, would not even look at it till the following day. Needless to say it would be a long wait since it nearly impossible to navigate in a rain storm with very little visibility and waiting another day wasnt really an option. The staff was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Quite suprised I asked if they worked on German cars since I owned a Volkswagon and they said not as a rule, they can accommodate me on smaller jobs but on larger jobs they source out to shops better suited for the cars manufacturer. Which tells me there honest, know there limits and willing to help what ever way they can. Quite the opposite of other shops Ive been to. I went to offer them a tip because they were willing to help me when I was in a jam, for which they turned down and said it was not necessary, it was a quick fix.. My hat goes off to this company and there staff and I would recommend them to anyone who was in need of there talents. Thank you again....

I wish I could rate them 100 stars!Here’s my story- I had issues with a repair from another shop that they could not figure out. I took it to Z’s after reading their great reviews in hopes they could help me out. I knew walking in it would be a challenge and they were willing to accept that challenge. They went absolutely above and beyond to figure out what was going on and never ever gave up. They took their time and explored every avenue they could to try and pin point the issue. This is so important for the customer because other shops would just start throwing parts into it making the whole ordeal very costly. That’s not only morally wrong, but not a good way to do business. Z, his wife, Ryan and the whole shop crew are very knowledgeable and really took their time to explain every detail to me. They clearly put my safety and the safety of others first before deciding any outcome on my issue. Hands down, 1 million percent give these folks your business. I am so grateful for them and the time they spent dealing with me. I know I wasn’t an average customer and I can’t thank Z and his team enough!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Great Family Owned Business!!! I use them to Inspect and and repair vehicles for my business as well as my personal cars. The shop is also very clean and organized. Z has done everything from an oil change to replace an engine and everything in between for me.

Where do I start? These guys have always been good to me. They have always told me what I needed and what I dont. I work on my own stuff most of the time, but I use them for jobs that I am too lazy to do myself or what I lack the equipment to do. I have never seen them tell me something that was untrue. without a doubt, these guys are honest. They know their stuff, and they perform good work. I have seen a wide variety of cars in their shop. Cars, diesel trucks, and even a tesla! I would not hesitate to bring my car here to get it worked on. This is the best mechanic shop I have ever been to.

A great shop with great Technicians. I went to a dealership to get my car checked for a noise. They said they could not duplicate rhe noise but I knew something was wrong with my car. I asked for recommendations and found Z Auto Service. Mike Lopez looked at my car and drove it. Right away finding an issue in the front end. Mike could not believe they said there was no issue. Mike quickly and easily repaired rhe issue with a new front hub assembly and upper ball joint. I recommend Z auto service and definitly recommend Mike Lopez to work on your vehicles.

Went into Z auto after the subaru dealership tried to scam me. Z was immediately attentive when I arrived and asked me to explain the problems. He said hed take a look at it and eventually they were able to start working on it. I was also able to use their loaner car at no charge while they fixed the issues, which was great for me. The shop was busy, but Z was able to fix all the problems I was having relatively quickly and at a fraction of what the dealership quoted me. I got to talk to him about their business, how they only choose to use quality parts, and keep the customer happy. It felt like Z and his wife J really went the extra mile for me, but it seems to be the usual! No more problems with the car and they have a great staff here.

Troy is amazing with communicating what was going on with my car. The whole place was very honest and caring about the needs of my car. I know my car needed some work done to it and it is nice to find a place that I can trust to do it. I have had an oil leak for over a year now and the last two places to fix it I do not trust and it was great how Troy and Z were very thorough to make sure my problem was fixed correctly but not costing an arm and a leg. I will be back and hope to continue to use them for all my car needs and repairs. This place is honest and fair, so hard to find these days.

I chose this shop due to the reviews, had a great experience, and will be coming back again. I called right around when they opened about weird noises while my clutch was pressed and got scheduled in within 10 minutes. The employees were extremely friendly and personable, explained the problems after a diagnosis, and estimated the cost for a fix. I was really worried about the time frame since I was heading on vacation in 3 days, but they delivered! All the new parts, labor, and test drive were done by the end of the next day.

I cannot speak highly enough about Z Auto Service! The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. Theyre also super transparent about EVERYTHING, which we all know is a hard thing to come by in the mechanics world. Very fair pricing, and such honesty. I wont take my car anywhere else.

Up until today I have ALWAYS agreed with the 5 star rating. This was the only mechanic shop that I’ve trusted with 2 of my vehicles. It’s saddening, frustrating, and disappointing to take my car to a shop and have my trust in them dismantled within a week’s time. To leave my car in their care for a week with explicit requests to fix any and everything wrong with it and spend over 5k, I shouldn’t be informed after a week later they’ve missed an additional 1k work that needs to be done. Now I’m wondering if all the work I paid for was actually completed. Super disheartened and now fiscally depleted.

Found this place through great Google reviews so would like to do the same! I have had nothing but such great help from everyone who works here. Yes, cars are not cheap, but they are always willing to work with you on what needs to be done rather than just tell you everything is wrong, which I have had happen in the past at other shops. I’ve had a lot done to my most recent car here, but never felt pressured to do things I didn’t feel were right at the time.

After moving and not having a reliable mechanic who wont rip you off or try and sell you car parts that you dont need... these guys are trustworthy and answered in detail all of my questions. Definitely recommend and will be back for future work on my car!

Wow, Z’s has incredible service. They fit me in on short notice, gave me a good deal, and we’re incredibly friendly. On top of that, they did a complimentary inspection and told me nothing was wrong! How often does that happen? Firestone had given me several dubious diagnoses the week before, so that made my day.

This place is VERY reasonable priced!!!! Fast service and reasonable priced! Needed a replacement for my battery and they checked my battery’s condition for free, and they were not pushy about making me make the purchase! I love everything about these guys. My Audi A4 check engine light was on when I went to them. From what I know already German vehicles can get expensive. But with Z auto they work with you and make sure to source the problem, communicate and solve the problem at a very fair price. My car was running like new when I got it back. Finding honest and efficient mechanics is extremely difficult. Z auto service was great to me, took my camry 2012 to get it fixed and told Troy that I needed my alternator replaced ASAP for work and he seemed to care about this and told me he could have it ready by the end of the day or early the next day, said and done. The service was great and job was well done, they also offer a service warranty, 12 months or 12 thousand miles, if for any reason whatever they did doesnt work, take it back and theyll fix it at no cost. This may sound like and advertisement but I dont this guys until now. Im giving details because I found the other peoples reviews helpful and when youre in a bad situation like I was, you want to get it done once and have someone you trust. No BS like the other big franchise guys.

Amazing service and care. Our SUV needed a lot of work....Troy helped list out what was needed now and what can wait with a lot of detail. They communicated well on cost and when itd be done. Then he helped go way above and beyond to fix some upholstery on his on time.

Car troubles? Look no further! Not only did they fix immediate problem, the staff did a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of my car of what needs to be addressed. I’m my experience, I’ve had other mechanics inform me of the immediate problems and not mention the potential ones in the future. I would end up spending hundreds of dollars to just fix those immediate problems when I could have planned for those future ones as well and saved potential money. Z, Troy and J communicated with me the entire process of the logistics of how much the cost would be, how much time it’d take, and what other factors needed to be considered in addition to being very accommodating when trying to schedule an appointment! They are knowledgeable, dependable, and honest experts. I would look no further!

Scheduled a last minute pre-purchase check for a vehicle for sale in Englewood and had no idea what to expect as we are from out of town. Troy and company really impressed with their sincerity and expertise. Super detailed inspection in about an hour and got a very in-depth tour of the vehicle by Luke using a flashlight to point out various problems and potential issues. Also: very affordable.

I came here several months ago for an oil change for my 2012 RAV4 because it was conveniently located for me and I dont trust corporate chains. They were nice and the oil change was completed promptly. However, when I took my car to a different mechanic for another oil change, I discovered that they had left a 10mm wrench under the hood and an air hose disconnected. Neither of these things were or are detrimental to my car, but they both seemed like fairly big oversights. Thus, I cannot recommend them and will not be returning.

Had a wonderful experience taking my car here. J was super helpful and explained the reason for some of the suggestions he had for my car as it was not in great shape when I took it in to him. Very honest and willing to help. The most surprising was that he checked in on me about a month later to make sure that everything he worked on was still up to my satisfaction. My car wouldnt start, so I had to get it towed. It didnt arrive till after they closed, but they got it inside anyways. They had it up and running by noon the next day. I got an honest diagnosis, and my bill was lower than expected. Their communication was superb. They answered right away whenever I called. I was diligent in finding a mechanic with good reviews, because I am weary of mechanics. I know theres too many that will rip you off if they can. I feel their 5 star Google rating is well deserved, and will definitely be coming back the next time I have car troubles.

Not bad. Needed a new starter, repair went fine. Of course they found an few other things that were imperative to fix for $1200 bucks. I passed up on that. Then about a week later I got follow up text from J. He asked how everything went. I explained my vents for AC werent blowing properly after the repair.... and that was it. LOL no other reply was sent. Kinda lame.

Z not only fixed my engine troubles, but he also fixed the wobbling in my brakes, popped the dent out of the back quarter panel and buffed out the paint streak! Its refreshing to have a trustworthy mechanic locally. Ive had too many issues and heard from way too many people about how the chains treat peoples cars.Here your car gets the attention it deserves, and you get walked through every step of what they uncover, what it will cost, and even what some of the competitors would charge (they told me truthfully they cant match the tire prices of the big tire only chains). I recently moved to the area from Michigan and needed an issue with my brakes looked at. Pulling up to Zs Auto, I instantly knew I had come to the right place. Greeted at the door by both Z and his wife, I felt more than comfortable trusting them with my Pontiac. After a comprehensive overview, I understood exactly where any issues existed, but was never once pressured into getting a single repair. I had my right, rear wheel bearing needing replacing on my 2001 BMW 740iL and was recommended to Z Auto Service from a coworker. They quoted the job at $475 (this was $225 less than the two other German car mechanics I had called before). I took the car into them and had them take a look at it and they found other suspension problems along with the bad bearing. They took me into the shop and showed me in person all of the bad components. I had them go ahead and do the work and I couldnt be happier with the job they did. My car is running better than ever and is a joy to drive again. They found these problems that other mechanics had never found before (even though my other mechanics were under my car quite a bit) and the work Z Auto did fixed a clunking noise from the front that I had had for years. Great mechanic, couldnt recommend enough!

I went in thinking it was a major problem that was going to cost me hundreds-and I told them that’s what I expected.They gave my CRV a good look over and only found a small leak for a couple hundred! Great experience. J & Z at Z Auto came referred as a trusted shop and they didnt disappoint at all. Best pricing on a rear shock install with a compressor for my 2005 Escalade air ride system. Im definitely going back for the front shocks and some other front end work and general fix up on leaks/potential leaks. Z is a GM expert and I know that Im only going to pay for what is needed. He did a little extra to patch a wire that was throwing an error code even after the shock and compressor install. Just an extra 5 minutes but he took the time to do it right. I am extremely happy to have found this shop. Its a little out of the way for me but Ill drive the extra mile because I want my car serviced here from now on.
