Recently my car was here for a failure to start without a check engine light. They looked the car over and told me it was a faulty engine harness (at barely 100,000mi) and also told me warranty would not cover it. I let it slide though I thought that was outrageous, I nearly called the warranty place myself cause I had a feeling the guy was lying to me. The guy at Groove told me it would be 3-5 days for the part and a day of labor and he’d sponsor one day of a rental. Cool. Fast forward, it took 11 days to complete and the rental is now double the price I originally intended to spend. Not only that, but I never received updates or pictures that they told me they had sent. Plus looking in my hood yesterday I noticed they didn’t even install my battery tie down cover that they invoiced me for. Makes me wonder if they actually fixed my engine harness or just pulled some wool over the eyes. Either way they unplugged my dash cam when they didn’t have to. I have an OBDII splitter that gives them an open port to access. Overall I think my willingness to trust them was also foolishness to get screwed over.
Groove Subaru is the best place to buy a car, they had the car I want, people are super friendly, and the purchasing process was very simple. It was a true pleasure purchasing a car from Groove, I recommend them highly. Dan my salesperson made the process fun and quick, thank you, we will buy again from Groove.
So incredibly disappointed to be writing this review. Everything was fine until I took my brand new Subaru Forrester Limited home, and that’s when the issues started. Right off the bat, I started having issues with the bluetooth. I alerted Joseph, the sales person with whom we worked, and he claimed to have never heard of the issue. Strange, because when I called their service department the woman on the phone claimed they’ve had that complaint before. Joseph assured me they would “figure it out and fix it no matter what the problem is,” and that it wouldn’t be an imposition because they would give me a loaner car. However when I called to schedule the service they told me that they “don’t issue loaner vehicles for that type of service.” Another discrepancy, yet again. Fast forward to when I take my car in, and the service department calls me to let me know there’s absolutely nothing they can do to fix my car, and that I’m stuck with the issue. My car didn’t even have 100 miles on it, and the issue started immediately. The team at Groove Subaru sold me a false advertised, technologically faulty vehicle and isn’t willing to do anything about it or compensate me in any way. I am extremely frustrated and will be advising anyone I know against Groove Subaru, due to their misleading and untruthful antics. This is my third Subaru and the first timeI’ve ever had any issues. If I could take it back I never would have bought a car from them.
Normally pretty happy with the service they provide. Just spoke with a lady in the service department trying to get a quote for rear breaks and a break fluid change for my Son’s WRX. I could not believe how rude she was. Terrible customer service. Again, they are usually great so maybe I caught her on a bad day or she is a bad employee out of a bunch of good ones. We will see. Not a good look for them though.
Bought a new 2021 Subaru WRX with Mason Schmidt, Nick Stanton, and Andrew Smith. I had a great experience and they made the process simple and efficient!
My shop has a wholesale account for parts with Groove and any issue we’ve had with parts, they’ve always taken care of us. Recently, we needed to take a vehicle into the dealer for a second opinion on an ECU. We decided, since we have the wholesale acct with Groove and they’ve always helped us out, we’ll take it there, no problem. Unfortunately, the service advisor, Ronald Baca, had ZERO communication while the vehicle was in their possession. He claims they left voicemails, but we have no documentation of any communication until WE reached out asking if there was any update on the vehicle, days later. At the time of vehicle pick up, Ronald told my husband he needed to call the technician for some information on the diagnostic procedures taken on the vehicle. Right off the bat, the technician, Kyle Thomann, started giving information on a completely different vehicle that had no start. My husband told him that was definitely not the vehicle we dropped off, as our vehicle no had issues starting at the time of drop off. Kyle then reiterated to my husband what was on the invoice, that had absolutely NOTHING to do with what we brought the vehicle in for or what we asked to have diagnosed. The vehicle was not even test driven to understand the issue it was having. The whole situation was very frustrating, as they were given full detail on what we expected during the time of diagnostic and not one of our expectations was met with the service team. This was not the first time we’ve dealt with the service team, as we had another customer who needed his keys reprogrammed by Subaru. When he took his vehicle in during a break in on a new motor they had no care for the instructions that were given for the break in while the vehicle was in their possession. Hayley, the service advisor at that time, had nothing but attitude the entire duration of the vehicle being in their possession. When I took the customer in to pick up the vehicle, she obviously knew who he was when we walked in and she ignored him until another service team member asked what we needed help with and he had no clue about the vehicle. It wasn’t until then that she mentioned one small thing about the vehicle. Very disappointed with our experiences with the service team.
I moved from Arizona to Colorado and I have to say that Groove Subaru is superior to the Subaru dealership I originally got my car from. They are organized with their scheduling. They give you honest time estimates on when your car service will be completed. If the service is taking longer than expected they call you and tell you why. If additional maintenance is needed on your car they ask permission to do it in order to not back door you with a bigger bill. They also give you a Lyft ride home if the car will take a while to service. If you live in The Denver area and have a Subaru (which is likely) Groove will not disappoint you. They are honest with their pricing and recommendations.
What a turn off.I knew exactly what I wanted and exactly the price I wanted it for that another dealer was already offering me, Groove just happened to be closer. They totally botched the sale with high pressure tactics, and their BS market rate adjustment that they didnt reveal until they had me jump through hoops. Total waste of my time. You can do better, and in fact, I did. I went up to Flatirons Subaru in Boulder and bought the same car that day for $3500 less and zero hassle.
My partner and I purchased an Ascent from Groove this weekend. Esteban Rios helped us to find the right vehicle, and answered all of our questions. He was quick to pull the paperwork together when we made our selection and didnt waste time trying to upsell us on the stuff he knew we did not want.Great experience, and highly recommended.
Me and my fiancé are so happy with groove! Her car lease was close to the end so we decided to visit not necessarily going to make a choice then but to see what was out there. Long story short we left with a new scooby. Joe was an awesome guy, he helped us and answered so many questions and made a deal happen that made us so happy. Thank you groove and to Joe for making a lasting impact and we well definitely be back!
Recently purchased a vehicle from Groove Ford and had such a great experience that when the A/C went out in our Subaru I knew that we could trust Groove Subaru. I was amazed at how much time and care they took to ensure that our vehicle was properly taken care of and that we were happy. I am beyond impressed with my experience at Groove Subaru, big shout out to Haley for getting the job done and the rest of the service department. Customer for life.Cheers
I moved to Denver about 2 ½ months ago. My car started overheating so I called around right away. I got it into Groove Subaru. They took a look and told me that I had a radiator leak and that my head gaskets had blown. They quoted me between 2-4000 dollars IF they didn’t find more damage when taking it apart. They did have a loaner car, but 1) they didn’t tell me about it- I only found out because I later on asked and 2) it was $40 a day. I decided to tow my car to a different shop where they also had Subaru certified techs for a second opinion. They told me that they saw no sign whatsoever of the head gaskets blowing and that they didn’t know why Groove Subaru had told me that. They gave me a loaner car ight away, FOR FREE and I only ended up paying $1,000 at the other shop too. I definitely feel like they were just taking advantage of me at Groove and didn’t have great customer service. I wouldn’t return.
FANTASTIC! My experience could not have been better in any way. I had some recall warranty repair scheduled. From the moment I arrived, the ride back home service to the communication and care (Haley is awesome!) to the extra repairs they did as they found some imperfections, all/everyone was fantastic. Thank you!
Had a great experience here! Andrew helped my girlfriend buy a new car. He was very knowledgeable about all of the ones he showed us, including knowing about the past owners of the cars and how well cared for they were. He didnt push us to buy a car that wasnt in our budget and showed us exactly what we were looking for. Andrew is very friendly, and we appreciated that the prices listed on the cars included all the added fees so we knew exactly how much it would cost. The transparency about prices and fees was awesome, and we got a great deal.
Service department sucks!! Trying to fix a flat by replacing spare tire in their parking lot. Service manager said I wasnt allowed because of insurance reasons. The irony of the story here is that my car is a subaru purchased here...🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ Service manager obviously was on a power trip. Who denies a spot to replace a flat!? Parking lot is empty!!! Made me call a tow truck.
Ilyana Brown in the service department was exceptional. Very friendly, positive, informed and informative. Checked me in, made sure my questions were answered and was able to get the car done ahead of ETA. Very much recommend.Jeremiah is the person I usually work with, and he is exceedingly professional as well. Friendly and realistic, to the point and very professional.Come to think of it, I havent interacted with anyone here that is less than admirable in their quality of service. Keep it up!
No complaints. Haley has been my point of contact a couple of times now and has always been communicative and gotten things taken care of. I really appreciate the customer service. My Forester is still running smooth.
We had an issue with our transport company bringing our Subaru from New York to Colorado. They burnt our clutch and wanted to drop off our car without us inspecting it. We instructed the transport company to drop off the car to Groove Subaru.Groove Subaru went over the car for us and even replaced a missing wheel nut free of charge. In addition, they did not charge us any storage fees while the car was awaiting inspection by the cargo claims insurance. You are the true heroes in our Subarus adventure to Colorado. Thank you for the warm welcome to our new home and we look forward to seeing you soon for service and the eventual trade in of our car!!
I recently moved from California to Colorado and was looking for a Subaru dealership to take my new car to for scheduled maintenance. I chose this dealership over nearby competitors due to their level of service - they set the standard high and other dealerships could not compete or really get close to their level of customer service. I talked to Brian on the phone who made scheduling an appointment not only easy, but quick! And Rachide in person was so welcoming and got everything going very quickly - making the process super simple and easy. If youre looking for a new dealership to take your car to look no further - Groove Subaru will be the place. It is my go to dealership!
The absolute best customer service. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Service only took about 40 minutes.
Charging $2500 above MSRP to initiate a new factory order is unethical.Sure, charge extra sure for something on the lot when a customer wants that one now, fine. But not for a customer who wishes to place a cash offer and wait on a car that hasnt even been manufactured yet. Not a good look.Glad that came up early enough in the conversation so that I only wasted a little time before going through Autonation. Ill pass on Groove next time too.
I had the best experience with Groove Suburu parts employee Melissa Hill on 9/24/2021. I needed help with quotes on parts for my Suburu that was in an accident! I honestly think she an outstanding and amazing person. Her kind attitude and demeanor is the best I have had the pleasure of dealing with in a very long time! She deserves recognition and Kudos to her! What an asset to Groove Suburu!
I am absolutely content with my recent experience at Groove Subaru, and its all thanks to Esteban Martorell Rios in Sales. Hes the most genuine, passionate, informative, and hard-working salesman Ive had the pleasure to do business with. If I ever have to purchase a vehicle again or know someone who needs to, I will for sure point to Esteban.
Had a great experience here. The service team is super professional, took a _ton_ of time on the phone with me to explain a bunch of what was going on, sent me documentation including photos of what they were seeing, and even paid for the lyft there and back since i had to leave the car in the shop for a couple days.
Thank you to Stacy and the Subaru finance team for making things happen for me and graciously putting up with me after I panicked, a few days later, because I was still in disbelief that I actually was able to purchase a 2019 VW Atlas. I absolutely love my SUV❣ AGAIN.... MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS AND GOD BLESS‼️👊🏼
My wife and I have purchased two cars through Groove—a Subaru Outback in 2015 and a Toyota Tacoma in 2019–and both experiences were very good. We got very fair prices, and the after-sale experience was also great.I recently took our Outback to Groove for some repairs, and Jeremiah was very helpful through the process. I felt like he took good care of us and was a great communicator. Also, using our Gold extended warranty on the car was no trouble at all. I expected to have a bit more of an issue proving that we had this coverage, but Jeremiah made the process super easy.
Great experience. Very welcoming and everyone is really helpful. I got a sense of really good teamwork there. Grace helped me get into a new car. She was very knowledgeable and found the perfect car for me.
I would avoid the service department and find a different dealer. The level of professionalism and technical skills was lacking. From trying to diagnose an issue by simply replacing parts to damaging parts during the repair and then trying to pass it off as something I had done after picking up the car. When trying to discuss the issue with the service manager he had his story and reason why it was not their issue before even speaking with me. Instead of providing quality services they provided a incredibly poor experience and work and I would tell everyone to avoid it. Lots of qualified Subaru repair shops. I suggest finding a different one.
They did a fantastic job working on my ‘16 Forester! They also do full synthetic oil changes for a super competitive price! Will be using them for my maintenance in the future.
Had a wonderful experience at Groove Subaru! We worked with Chase and he went above and beyond to help us out! We drove home with our vehicle same day! Would highly recommend purchasing here!
I was getting a valve cleaning and a recall on my vehicle. Granted, the recall was not scheduled they still took longer to get my vehicle done than quoted. The recall was a simple torquing of some exhaust bolts. The huge issue is that when I got home to top off my windshield wiper fluid I noticed they forgot to put the plastic engine cover back on my vehicle! And the kicker is when I called they said it was not technically necessary. I understand its a cosmetic piece, but to tell me that I shouldnt concern myself is absurd. I was also visiting from out of town and couldnt come by to rectify the situation. I was told that they would get back in touch with a way to get my engine over back, but never did. I also never received the vehicle inspection video they claim they send everyone after its done.
Stacey and the ENTIRE team were so incredibly helpful. I feel like they all bent over backwards to help us out. Everyone was so friendly and easy to talk to. Stacey really took the time to help me find exactly what I needed, and she nailed it!! I seriously cannot recommend them enough!
Shopping at Groove was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable.I spent most of my time there with Keith, who went absolutely above and beyond. I have always wanted to learn to drive a manual car, and when I mentioned that he immediately offered to teach me. What really impressed me is that he said he would not sell me a car that I could not drive. In about 45 minutes I went from stalling in a flat parking lot to driving comfortably on Broadway. The sales process was excellent as well. This was the first car that I have bought and they happily helped me with financing, registration, insurance etc. I felt zero pressure to buy unnecessary items or services. Costs and benefits were clearly explained. Both Keith and Utku made a genuine effort to only recommend things which were of value to me.I love my new car and I will absolutely be recommending Groove to friends and returning when I finally decide to get another.
Absolutely terrible experience. The communication at this place is embarrassing. My vehicle has been there being worked on for over a month and the entire process from beginning to end has been bad. Its impossible to get through to anyone willing to help or update you. They constantly say the service tech is busy and theyre just the schedule center so they cant do anything, theyll have someone call me back- never once happens. Even when they say theyll mark it as priority or tag the manager in it and swear someone is going to call you- youre not going to hear back. Consistently terrible for over a month I would avoid this place at all costs- dont give them your money and waste your time. Never even got a call back about trying to a schedule to get a rental with these people. Called twice again today- promised call backs. Never happened. TERRIBLE BUSINESS. No one cares at all what so ever. Was told my vehicle would be done last week, now saying its this week, and I have no hope at all- going to be a month and a half theyve had it now. Worst business there is.
Derek has worked with me for a couple months trying to find the perfect car for me while also helping with the complications of financing. These guys are truly amazing and are incredibly helpful. They found way to work with my financial situation without trying to sell me on unnecessary stuff. They were genuinely looking out for my best interest. And to top it all off, I left my stuffed giraffe hanging in the rear view mirror in the old vehicle, and Derek managed to track it down and return him to me. Best dealership service I’ve ever experienced.
I historically always visited Sheehy Subaru on Arapahoe for my Legacy but was always confused why every visit resulted in their strong suggestion for some miscellaneous repair or maintenance at an exorbitant cost even during routine maintenance.Once I switched to Groove, I immediately realized the difference in integrity and reliability. Its night and day. I now consistently use Groove (even when its a further drive) for both routine and urgent maintenance or checks.
My 3yr old WRX had a check engine light come on... Out of convenience I took it to a non-Groove Subaru dealership closer to my home and had a rather negative experience: Trying to sell me new tires as soon as I handed them my keys (tires were replaced a year prior!). I wasnt happy there so I drove the extra distance to Groove... What a difference! I had warranty work completed, work done that the previous dealership had missed, and also Groove got to the root cause of the check engine light! Night and day experience and I will definitely be back. Excellent service such as a video showing their findings on my car and updates by phone and text so I was aware of their progress. First class experience!
The service department was amazing. I dealt with Lane, who found me an even better service deal than I had found! They were super quick, thorough, and did a fantastic job. I highly, highly recommend them!!
Aleecia in the parts department made my whole experience great! She was prompt, helpful and very polite when helping me out. I’ll certainly come back for any future fixes after such a pleasant resolution to my car’s problem.
My 2001 outback just spent over two weeks there due to a complicated situation, and the way that Groove handled it was amazing. They were fair in pricing, and extremely empathetic and kind. Between receiving the friendliest greeting ever from Bret, and Jeremiahs great communication and service, Groove has definitely gained a loyal client. My car is driving better than it ever has, on top of all that. Im extremely grateful!
I paid Groove Subaru in full for a used car on December 29th, 2020 and havent yet received the title, despite CO law stipulating that the title is to be delivered within 30 days of purchase. Employees have made assurance after assurance that the issue is very close to being solved, but I still have not been provided with a clear timeline. I would recommend avoiding Groove at all costs
10 weeks after I purchased my car from this dealership, I discovered that they had sent the title and registration paperwork to the wrong county. Even though it clearly states which county I live in on the purchase paperwork. When the incorrect county sent it back, Groove decided to just ignore it and let it sit on someones desk. Luckily, I started asking questions and digging around. I called and emailed the title office at Groove for a week, with no response. When someone finally Did call me, of course, they blamed it on the county DMV. After some investigation, I found out the DMV never even got it and the Groove people were sitting on the paperwork for over 2 months. Meanwhile, my temp plates expired. I ended up having to take the title and registration paperwork to the county office myself because I lost all trust in them.Im not giving 1 star because a staff member named Utku was extremely helpful in the process and was the only way I even got in touch with the title people at all. Titles arent his job, but he was the most helpful person in the whole ordeal.
I don’t know where these 5 star people went…they are the worst🙄
This is my second subaru I have purchased from Groove! And yes Groove is a great dealership but honestly it was working with Joseph McCartty that made the experience 5 stars! Both times he worked with me to find the perfect car for me, within my price range and sent me on my way smiling and happy! He is so knowledgeable about all of the cars on the lot and he also just made me feel really comfortable and made the process easy and fun! If you are considering buying a subaru from Groove, make sure you work with Joseph!
Had an absolutely wonderful experience leasing my new 2020 WRX from Groove. Finlay Constant was amazing to worn with, balancing consistent and open communication without feeling overbearing or adding any pressure. Was able to do 90% of the deal over phone and email to a perfect price for me lower than I expected and got in my new car within under 2 hours of stepping on the lot. Highly recommend shopping here for your car needs and if you do, ask for Finlay!
First off, I was in the market for a truck (did not get a truck). I rode my overly expensive bike to this dealership with the intention to get an estimate on trade in value for it and possibly look at some cars. I had planned on looking at a Forester Sport. They did not have one on the property, but my sales guy (Garret) found a different trim and pulled it around for me so I could take it on a drive. He gave me the option to go solo or bring him with me; I opted to have him tag along. That was the best decision I made. Throughout the test drive, Garret went over every single detail about the vehicle, he clearly knows his stuff. When we got back I mentioned I had been interested in a Crosstrek before, Garret knew exactly what I was thinking and took me back to look at one in the Sport trim. I was immediately excited once seeing the look of the car and all of the features and the awesome great price. Test drove that car, same thing; knew every detail about it once we were finished. We had an awesome conversation and it made me feel comfortable about giving them my business. Now, once we got back we started working on coming up with numbers and a trade in value for the bike. I was immediately impressed when they offered me a higher trade in value than any other place I had been shopping at. I gave them an idea of what kind of payment I was looking for, I did not want to exceed it. The sales manager (Taylor) blew me away and not only offered to meet my payment needs, but offered me a lower payment at a great interest rate. When they came up with their final offer I could not refuse. I decided to go through with it.Finance went very smoothly, Josh took extremely good care of me and I felt very confident once we had finished the paperwork.I let them know multiple times while I was there, this is hands down the greatest vehicle buying experience I have ever had. I am going to be a Groove Subaru customer for life.Thank you!!
Awesome ExperienceGroove Subaru auto sale are fantastic to deal with .Matt McDonnell went above and beyond to find us the kind o SUV that we were looking for .We are very pleased with our purchase. He is the only ones to deal with. When buying next car will definitely go back. Thanks to Matt McDonnell.
Ive had my Subaru Legacy close to a year now, my experience from the first phone call I made to ask if a car was available to just recently when my car had the cameras recalibrated after a windshield replacement HAS BEEN THE BEST.Every single person I have worked with has gone beyond my expectation for great customer service, a big Kudos to ANDREW in Sales, and an enormous Kudos to HALEY in Service!
I had a phenomenal time here. I emailed the website inquiring of a test drive and was texted immediately for a scheduling! The customer service given was more than extraordinary. This was my first car so I was extremely picky. They helped me weigh my options and went above what was expected. Even compared quotes with different insurances and reassured me options. Id like to give a shout out to Mason for helping me! I love my Hyundai Elantra! It drives perfect and the features are amazing. This dealership makes dreams come true! Thank you Groove!!
Robert was calm, cool, and collected throughout the entire buying process. I wasn’t even sure I was going to get a car but he answered every question well and got a deal that worked for me. He knows the brand well and is a great representative. The process was very easy compared to other times I have purchased a vehicle. I was greeted at the door and offered a drink. First class service by everyone at groove. They also were doing their best to maintain social distancing and the place was spotless with plenty of sanitizing supplies. Keep it up groove.
TL;DR check your service quote for parts prices, you might save a couple hundred dollars if you buy them from the same dealership, just online.Recently had front brakes serviced by Groove. Because we had considered doing the work ourselves, we priced parts out online through parts.Subaru.com, linked on Groove’s own website. When we picked the car up, we realized that we were charged $110.50 each for the rotors; MSRP from the Subaru parts e-store is $84.95 ea. I brought this up at pickup time and $50 was taken off the bill. However we now realize that we were overcharged for the brake pad kit (we were charged $125; MSRP is $84.95), the brake fluid itself, and the air filters we purchased at the end of April (outside of oil changes, its every part weve ever purchased from Groove). The inspection at oil change at the end of April indicated engine air filter also needed to be replaced immediately; we purchased those filters and replaced them early May. Last weeks inspection indicated that the air filter was worn, in yellow, after 2 weeks of usage.I sent a note to service manager with these complaints and a price match request to their own website quoted prices. No response.2 stars because my new brakes work fine, the car stops, this isn’t a safety issue but they’re not earning my trust by overcharging and overdiagnosing. I’ll go to Autonation next time…
Every time I go to Groove Subaru, I am treated with respect. Everyone have worked with there goes out of their way to provide excellent service. The service department is usually efficient. In addition the communication about what is going on with my vehicle during routine maintenance or repairs before any action is taken with my vehicle is excellent. In short, I am a satisfied customer!
I was helped by tall skinny Dan Conochan. Awesome salesperson. I love my WRX. Be jealous I know! Thanks Dan!! You made my experience enjoyable and easy
I am a lousy person when it comes to making sure I write positive reviews after positive experiences with businesses. However, after I had such a HORRIBLE experience at another dealership recently I felt VERY inclined to write about my experience with Groove Subaru. Well, for starters, when I first leased my Subaru from this dealership I worked with Andrew W. Hands down the nicest, non-pushy, knowledgeable guy youll meet! Next... I purchased a warranty service package to get oil changes and routine maintenance on my car. They send me reminders when my oil changes are due. Done. When I went in the last time to have a recall performed, they told me ahead of time they would most likely have my car all day (knowing this is normal for recalls AND they were able to get me in literally like the next day, I was more than willing to agree to this). They ordered me an lyft or uber (not sure what it was as I didnt have to worry about cost or even having to order it myself) and I was back home in 30 minutes (I live 30 minutes from the dealership). They called me as soon as they started on my car, during them working on my car, and then as soon as they finished. I was there to get my washed car before they closed. I know I rambled on, BUT the moral of the story-Groove Subaru is EXACTLY where you should not only get your car, but also have it serviced through. The process is SEAMLESS and theyre always so friendly, efficient, and there for their customers. Thank you guys!
I recently got a cracked windshield and Groove Subaru took care of me quickly! The customer service is the best I have experienced at any other dealership! Great job and I will tell all of my friends to buy from Groove! Thank you. Brian Olsen!
Best Customer experienceThey are very professional. Everything they say they will do . We had wonderful experience.Special thanks to Mr Matt McDonnell & Stuart Grey.
Best service I have ever had!I brought my car in today to have an oil change and I was blown away by the customer service provided to me from Ilyana Brown. She was so thorough, kind and went above and beyond to help me. I felt very taken care of. I will certainly be coming back to this location for any future car needs.
Jeremy was awesome! Rest of the staff super helpful!I worked with Jeremy Horwath who helped me with trading in my Subaru for a new vehicle. He was very helpful and I felt like he was really trying to make the deal work with my so-so credit and low available cash.I ended up leaving the dealer with a better vehicle than I thought, and enjoyed the experience. I look forward to going back! Thanks Jeremy!
Kevin Sayler was fantastic. They fixed a broken tire pressure sensor that other Subaru dealerships were unable to fix. Prompt, friendly service...thank you!
Another awesome experience at Groove Subaru! Yesterday I purchased and took delivery of my new 2020 Subaru Forester Sport and I couldn’t have been happier with the process...again! This is my second Subaru I’ve purchased from them in the last year and wouldn’t think of going elsewhere ever. Vinny was my salesperson and did an exceptional job showing me the vehicle and negotiating the purchase price. Chris in finance was my salesperson last year and was great as my finance manager for the sale this time around. I highly recommend this dealership and these individuals assisting you in your next Subaru purchase.
Will absolutely never stop sending you junk mail. A week after buying a car youll get an ad for buying another car.Hard sell tactics when buying the car as well.
I bought my 2017 Subaru Impreza from here. I am happy about my purchase here. Though, every time I go to the service department i do not feel the welcome and customer service I did when I dropped 10,000 cash as a down payment here. I use to come here to get all my services done. Sadly that ended when I came to get work done on my car and I was treated like a burden. People here were rude and stand offish... i will not be bringing my Subaru back here again.
I purchased a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek from Groove Subaru In Englewood Colorado a few months back. Honestly, they provided the best buying experience of my life. Every team member at this dealership is so friendly and authentic. I highly suggest working with Groove Subaru.
The battery on my hybrid Crosstrek went out, which presented a scary bill. Thank goodness Rachide was assigned to my case, or I would be in a sad state. He was personable, concise and remembered everything I asked about the process, always getting back to me promptly. I highly recommend the great staff at Groove. You get what you pay for there.
We had a 2017 Outback that was serviced by our usual mechanic. He noticed that there was an oil leak from the timing cover. I took the vehicle to the Groove Subaru Dealership[ in Englewood Colorado . The Service Advisor, Haley Blouch, was.very good. She got the car in the next morning for an evaluation. She called later that morning with a report that indeed the timing cover was leaking and that the work would be covered by warranty. Haley kept me informed on the repair process throughout the day and the next day. When we picked up the car it was clean and the appropriate repairs were completed. She has kept in touch checking on the car.Her attention to detail and her responsiveness to the problem was superb. I will return to this dealership for further service and request Haley as the Service Advisor.
Middle of last year I dropped my car off for normal maintenance work. When I came to pick my car up I noticed while my vehicle was in their care, it was smashed in the front end. (photo attached) NOBODY at Groove mentioned anything to me about this, I had to ask them what happened. Every time I bring my vehicle back to get this issue resolved, there is still something they have not done to completely resolve the issue. The most current issue is they painted half of my front passenger door and the colors do not match. They are two different tones. (photo attached) I told them we would wait a few months and see if it faded together, which it has not. I have now waited almost two weeks to get a response from them on how this will be resolved with no reply. I have been loyal to them since I purchased my vehicle there over 3 years ago, but loyalty only goes so far. Photos of issues attached. At the moment, i would not recommend this Company.
Never Answered Calls.Sales rep. dint knew what they had in inventory. He said, he will call back after checking. And never did. When I Call they never answer.
Just bought out third car from a Groove dealership (1 Toyota, 2 Subarus) and every time my experience has been awesome. The entire team was super helpful. The main sales rep we dealt with was Andrew. He was a really nice guy and was very helpful through the whole process. I knew exactly what I wanted and he listened and helped. Didn’t waste my time showing me something I wasn’t looking for. We will definitely be back to Groove, and specifically Groove Subaru in the future.
This was my first time buying a car and I felt like I came to the right place. Finlay Constant was very knowledgeable and ultimately made this car buying experience amazing. The process was easy (besides my hick up on insurance) but they were all very patient with it.The whole team here was 5/5 stars and I would recommend this Subaru dealership to everyone! :)
I remember sometime ago, when I was on a service drive you were approached by an adult who actually knew a thing or two about automotive service and could provide solutions, nowadays its a bunch of kids in there 20s on the service drive who dont know what day of the week it is. And its not at 1 Groove stealership, its at all of them.
I was thinking of buying a Subaru wrx from this place, reached out to someone at this location and asked if I could test drive and they told me I could only depending on my credit score. So I went to another dealer that didn’t even ask for that and let me test drive... I ended up buying it there as well so lesson learn that’s not how you get people to buy your cars with that kind of customer care.
Friendly staff, excellent job.
I leased a car from Groove Subaru and traded my old car. After a week, they called me and asked for immigration documents (apparently they had forgotten to ask me when I got the car but they were playing it cool like they were not supposed to ask, although that’s usually one of the first things that dealerships ask). Then after a few days, they said JPMorgan wouldn’t approve the loan because of my visa category and asked me to “return the car” or finance one of their used service cars for a little cheaper than a brand new one. After I complained to the manager (although he never got back to me), they offered me to finance a new car, instead of leasing, with 3.5% interest, although I had a perfect credit score. They gave me a little more on my old car and some discount, but I ended up paying a lot for tax, a lot for registration, and $500 delivery fee!!!It was not a good experience, especially because they were not apologetic at all. How can you give me a car and buy my old one and after a week ask me to being the car back?! Also, I feel they didn’t try hard enough to make their mistake up. It was totally fine if they had checked my immigration status with the bank first and then refusing to work with me but not 1 week after buying my old car!I understand that people make mistakes, especially during the pandemic and I was very understanding about it, but expected Subaru to try harder to make it up.
Haley was my point of contact when I brought my car in to replace something under warranty. She was awesome- kept me updated and helped me understand what was happening.
I just purchased an 07 Subaru from a private party and have discovered various obscure repairs that need to be done. One of the parts has been extremely hard to track down. I finally called the parts department of this dealership and was greeted by an extremely friendly and understanding man named Jim. Both he and Melissa (working the parts desk) have been monumentally helpful in getting the exact part (of which there are two different mounting styles in the same exact model year) so that I can service my car properly and drive with peace of mind. Highly recommend for friendly, stellar quality customer service.
I had a very poor experience! I recommend you beware. I purchased a car online and flew to Denver to pick it up. I got in late and the car had hail damage I did not see. They did not clean or prep the car. I have an ID and insurance left by the prior owner. It was supposed to be a certified car but had dents. They lost the title and it took months to get it to me. The manager was insulting when I contacted them to discuss. I will not be back.
This Dealership is by far my favorite I have been to. I have worked at a few and been to multiple different dealerships in Colorado to look and buy vehicles. Our Sales Rep Grace Cahoj was the nicest, most friendly sales person I have ever met. I did not feel like I was pressured into anything. She helped me look at what I wanted and get the car that fit me the best. It was more like an amazing friend helping me pick the best car out for me. 11/10 will recommend this dealership. Best experience I have had so far. Thank you guys for helping me out.
My wife and I worked with Mason in the preowned department to look at a couple outbacks and foresters that we were interested in. Mason had all the keys pulled and ready for our review. He was super knowledgeable about the vehicles and helped us decide on a direction without being pushy or too “salesy”. If you are looking for a car give Groove Subaru a call and ask for Mason, you won’t be disappointed!
Much thanks to Brett and the entire service team for getting me back on the road. They took the time and effort to fix my car while other shops had no clue what was going on. They got to the root of the issue and also helped me out with warranty issues. Awesome service and awesome people. If you need any Subaru repair work done there is nobody better than Groove.
My fiancé and I came in to get a regular service on his Outback. Immediately, we were greeted by one of the most enthusiastic and sweet people, Ilyana. When we came in, we noticed that there was a nail in his back right tire. At check out we asked if the tire was taken care of but learn it wasn’t noted in the service report. Ilyana brought the car back again and made sure it had another set of eyes. After noticing the nail, Ilyana had offered to fix it for free and even offered us lunch as we needed to wait longer. We have not always had the greatest experience at other mechanic shops, but have always had a wonderful experience at Groove. Very thankful for the friendly faces and great service.
Had a bit of a mix up at the beginning of an Outback Servicing appointment, and was a little frustrated. Communicated my frustration, and received AMAZING service. Brian called me, apologized for the issues, and ensured I was taken care of and had a great experience.Things won’t be perfect every time - especially with complex car repairs the customer doesn’t always understand. But with the level of dedication Brian & the rest of their team have to customer service, it’s a guarantee that it will be a great experience at the best price. Thanks so much!
We had a very unfortunate situation with another service provider and our engine was completely shot. Having had such bad customer service experience and back and forth for almost a month, we had our Subaru towed to Groove in hopes they could provide a timely resolution and better service. From the moment we walked into Groove and talked to Haley, our experience was fantastic! She was empathetic to our situation and was patient and understanding. Haley went above and beyond to ensure that we were updated every step of the way. The engine was replaced faster than we expected and the whole team really exceeded our expectations. Haley really provided world class customer service and is a true asset to your team. Thank you! We will be back :)
I love these guys and gals that work there . they are friendly and fast . And always on top of any new maintenance that needs to be dine . very happy with this dealership.
Thank you to Gene Canada for making this the hands down best car buying experience Ive ever had. Ill be recommending Groove to everyone I know. Zero games or hard sells, just open and honest communication. Thank you!
I had an appointment with David Coates. I expected to spend a considerable amount of time waiting at the dealership, but David figured out the problem right away, saving me time and money. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Mason Schmidt was awesome and extremely helpful! Also super patient with me as I was a first time car buyer and had a lot of questions that he happily answered.Had a fantastic experience and didnt feel pressured or intimidated by the process at all. Will absolutely be recommending Groove to friends and family!
Had a wonderful experience bringing my Outback in to Groove Subaru for repairs. Rachide Reese was such a pleasure to work with - he always greeted me a smile and made the whole process so quick and easy!
The service department here is absolutely terrible. I was getting no air in my cabin even though my climate display was on and functioning. They told me a very expensive computer component was to blame so I had them replace it (which was its own little nightmare of them promising me my car would be done and then taking 2 more days because the part didn’t come in). Once fixed, everything was fine for about a day and then I had no air again. Called to talk to my service guy and he says something to the effect of “oh, we were afraid this might happen - it must be the other part of the computer module that went out”. So I wound up replacing ANOTHER very expensive computer module and that STILL didn’t solve the problem. When I let them know this, I was basically told they didn’t know what else to do. Great. They also told me I had a slight engine knock and my car probably wouldn’t make it another 6 months - all after I just spent $7,000 to “fix” my car. I ended up taking the car to an independent Subaru guy who tested the actual fan and found it was failing. He replaced the fan and it solved the problem and it cost me all of $300! The dealership should have started with this, but instead told me I needed $7000 worth of parts and labor that didn’t solve the issue! Also, the independent Subaru mechanic said there was no engine knock. I had my car for another 2 years, which is quite a bit longer than the dealership told me it would last, before I traded it in recently for a 2020 Subaru. Because of the bad experience I had with the service department, I refused to buy a car here and went to another Subaru dealer who was fantastic to work with! Bottom line, don’t take your car here. They will nickel and dime you for stuff you don’t need that probably won’t solve your problem. I’m embarrassed that I was so trusting of them and gave them so much money. I should have asked for a refund long ago but life got in the way and I just didn’t want to deal with them anymore.Oh, I almost forgot about the time I had to take my car back 5 times before they figured out that my alternator was overcharging and needed to be replaced! That shouldn’t have been that hard to figure out, but apparently it was for this dealership!Based on the other reviews, I’m sure whoever responds to this review will say something like “It sounds you had a problem with our service department. Please reach out to our service manager.” Yeah, no thanks. Just another example of the poor customer service this place offers.Nice deflection on the reply from the owner. The fact is they never even tested the most basic component (the fan) and just went straight to saying the computer module was causing the issue. Those modules hardly ever go out and I was stupid enough to believe them when they told me they were bad. My negative review was not based on the “conjecture of this outside 3rd partys comments on the situation”....it was based on facts that parts were needlessly replaced. The first thing that should have been eliminated was a problem with the fan itself and it wasn’t - instead, the most expensive parts were looked at first. If you like needlessly spending your hard earned money, go here. If not, find a mechanic who actually knows what they are talking about.
Im presently working with a spectacular lady named Zoee in possibly finding my next vehicle. We are working together with exchanging information as Im in another town. Im looking forward to meeting her soon. She has been so kind and helpful and even went as far as conferring with the finance dept to help get me preapproved for a loan. She excels in her customer service skills! I appreciate everything she has done and may be doing for me in the future.
Got our new Subaru Impreza today. Joseph McCarty is the best. He is patent in introducing the features of the Subaru Impreza to us at the beginning; before we bought the car, we asked tons of questions and he explained everything clearly and patiently. He is honest, telling us about a small dent in a car we first see. He stands from the perspective of buyers, making us feel comfortable, not rushing us to make decisions but help us find the best car; he does not annoy people by sending a lot of emails; he also helps us to get a good price. I decide to buy this car at Groove Subaru mostly because of the great service from Joseph. I will definitely recommend my friends to buy cars here.
This was my first time buying a car from a dealer. My previous vehicles were hand-me-downs from family. I was originally looking for a used car as I thought buying new would break my budget, however Robert was able to find me a premium 2019 Impreza that not only stayed way under my budget, but Jeff was also able to find extra discounts for me! Robert was incredibly sweet and super helpful the entire time. He made this extremely painless and easy! I highly recommend buying with Groove if you are ever in the market for a new or used car. They are exceptional people!
I bought my Impreza here in 2007 and have done a lot of the repairs through them as well. I have to say I am so impressed and now incredibly loyal to this place because of Brett Tossie! He is the reason I will ONLY go here from now on. I grew up around the auto industry and Ive never come across someone so helpful! He went above and beyond for us! Brett has the most impressive work ethic Ive ever witnessed. Beyond grateful for his help. Its so heartwarming to have this kind of experience and to know there are great people out there in the world!
Steer clear of this Subaru service center. I got a call from them last week letting me know about a recall on my 2015 outback. The process felt pretty smooth until I went to pickup my car. On the drive home I noticed a strong smell of exhaust, but assumed that the tech work worked on my car must have spilt something and the smell would go away. Slowly the smell got worse, and I realized the exhaust was leaking and somehow getting into the cabin. When I called the service center, they asked me to bring my car back. Causing me to miss appointments I had scheduled for after work. The service center never apologized for their faulty work, they never explained why they didnt inspect and fully test their work before handing it over to me. Once they fixed their mistake, they did not call to explain themselves, but instead sent a text where they told me my car was ready for pickup. I called and finally told what had happened. Such a disappointing experience. I left with a headache caused by carbon monoxide and disappointment. Do not bring your car to this dealer.
Original Review: 1 star...It’s frustrating to go from a dealer like Sewell Subaru in Dallas, where customer service and experience is priority to a place like groove where they make one wait for hours to get simple things done. At Sewell, the dealership always provided a loaner car for even the simplest of service appointments. This freed up time to go about the day without concern or worry that one might get stuck waiting in a room with other people during a pandemic. They made this right after 3 hours of waiting by offering a rental car when they realized they would need more time to replace a part that was beginning to come apart from the body of the vehicle.
Bought a 2021 forester from this place and it was so incredibly smooth! My saleswoman Grace and all the finance people were so awesome and helpful
Don’t go here if you want to do a test drive. I walked in to test drive a WRX. I’m a 43 year old professional (the car would be for my daughter). They were very resistant saying “we need to keep these cars low mileage”. So am I supposed to buy a car I have not driven? Or give a guarantee I’ll buy? They wanted to run my credit score and talk about “if I could afford the payments”. It was easier to test drive a McLaren last month. So I drove up the street to Range Rover and test drove a used WRX and a Defender with no difficulty and plenty of courtesy from Range Rover. Weird way for Groove to run a business especially in 2020 when I can easily buy cars from all over the country. Groove can keep its low mileage WRX sitting on their lot.
Update: the service manager reached out and made things right, but I still prefer places that dont need to rely on band-aids and instead are better at not getting cut in the first place...I was scheduling an oil change/tire rotation on the Groove website, and during the process it recommended some other service based on my mileage. I selected the recommended additional service, added some notes about a recall I wanted them to look at, and chose an available appointment time of 6pm the next week. When I showed up, I was told that the regular techs always leave at 5pm so they can ONLY do oil changes/tire rotations after 5pm. Also, the techs - who only do oil changes/tire rotations, mind you - didnt know how to re-sync my tire pressure sensors... which is concerning. The service guy told me that management knew the website scheduling system was wrong, but wont fix it. Im not driving another hour round-trip to go to a shop like this.
Do not have your service done here. Had wheel bearings done on my Outback, every normal vendor has 3 year warranty on their wheel bearings. They only carry one year on their supposed OEM parts, you know parts that should last 85-100k* miles. Long story short I get to do 2 wheel bearings again at another shop because they went bad after 2 years. Thanks Groove!Reply: nope no issue with my expectations. There is an issue with the parts you supply if they have shorter warranty periods than every manufacturer you can get the parts from otherwise! Big difference!Update: Sent email to address given on the day I received reply to my review over a week ago. They have still not gotten back to me. F- for customer service there!
