Visited after SO many people told me about this place. Yes, a few things were close to expiration, but the majority was not. I couldn’t believe the selection of organic items-including beauty products! I had a field day in the beauty aisle-all the vegan products were amazing-my days of shopping at big box stores for those items are over. From organic OJ to so much more. $80 worth of items that would have cost triple elsewhere.Super nice employees, noted one sweetly helping an older lady box her groceries up. Selection of boxes by checkout to load your items once you checked out. Couldn’t have been nicer experience, will frequent Publix and target less often for sure! Note to management: amazing music! Found myself secretly singing along to The Rolling Stones and Tom Petty!

Every time I come to englewood I go to this store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are awesome! The best discounts ever! Now I need one in Michigan north of Detroit please!

Love this new grocery store! Warehouse liquidators so you shop what they get. Quality, high end merchandise from places like Whole Foods. Health/beauty, dry goods, canned, meats & cheeses, dog/cat, beverages, seeds & nuts, keto, organic, exotics...ALL at least 50% off if not more! Fair trade chocolates, small selection of local produce. Masks required, bring your recycle bags. Really fun place to get unusual foods!

One of our favorite places to shop. Englewoods store is quite a bit bigger than the other location. So many granola and protein bars to choose from.Lots and lots of gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian items. Fresh produce and fruit. A nice little store. Bring your own bags and stop in.

OMG..this is the Goodwill of Supermarkets!! Take plenty of time to visit, its another world!! Like visiting different countries Prices are wonderful. Something different each time. 25c/12oz sour cream. Stuff u wont find in other stores. Go a couple of times, Dont forget expect your usual stuff. Its worth a few visits to understand.

This is an absolute AWESOME find!!Lots of organic and non GMO food and health care products at a ridiculously LOW price. I will be telling everyone I know that its well worth the drive ( we live in Port Charlotte) also super nice employees😀

Prices are excellent, not alot of name brands. But very big selections of different food, spices and unique items. I didnt purchase purchase anything, I was checking products. But clean store. Bring your own bags or you can buy some there

The store definitely has a wide variety of items better at discounted prices. The only thing is you have to look at the expiration date. I found quite a few food items that were expired by six months or so. Otherwise, its not a bad store and not all of the food is expired.

Me and my family really enjoy all this store has to offer when we travel to the area!! Wish there were other locations.. perhaps in the future. We are a health conscious family and the deals are incredible.

Massive discounts on some things but you never know what theyll have. Its fun.

I do not understand how anyone can find a way to complain about this store. It is obvious that one family got upset because they were asked to follow the rules, they went home, and told all 5 of their friends, so they all went on and also put negative reviews. With prices that low, I do not mind checking the dates and deciding whether I am comfortable with the date and product. I am grateful for a store with these prices and to hear that they stood their ground when it came to the mask situation. This place is awesome! Bring your own bags or boxes! This little gem of a store has saved me quite a bit of money with purchasing high-end products that probably were rejected because of the dented boxes or cans. Not a problem with me! I found this store to be very consumer friendly, especially as a college student who needs to save as much as possible. Admittedly, I will be finding myself shopping here more often than other places. The atmosphere was super friendly, lots of variety, and I love the idea of enforcing reusable bags and recycling the cardboard boxes instead of using plastic bags. Ill spread the word about this place! Anyone too good to shop here really is missing out, and I severely hope you guys last through the off-season!

First time visiting here, glad I stopped in. Bring your own grocery bag, no frills but some incredible bargains if you don’t made saving money on liquidated items. Bought some what would I’d been pricy cooking sauces & spices for a fraction of the cost. The produce was very reasonable as well! Friendly staff.

Very different, but fun, grocery. Dont go in here with a list of what you need. Go in with an open mind and willing to try new things/brands/etc. We picked up numerous items and tried them out. A wide variety of items. Just pay attention to expiration dates compared to sell by dates...

Wife and mother-in-law love it, good bargains on hard to find items

I shop here usually twice a week. Usually with my spouse and children and the prices are great and I love shopping there. Always very clean and my kids love the kid buggies. Highly recommend to shop there. Staff is friendly and the cashier Dustin is such a sweetheart always makes us and my kids leave with a big smile and always thanks us.

HONESTLY CANNOT BELIEVE THESE REVIEWS????Everyone seems to rave about this place, but I for one will not set foot in it again. Most of the salads on display looked old and wilted, the whole store had a dirty feel to it, prices were no discount in my book, I can do better at Publix or Winn Dixie any day of the week, and then this place can keep that old looking produce for all those people that rave about it!NOT ME!!!!

Love this place!!! Best grocery store ever. Its a dent and near expiration store, so They dont have everything all the time, but they have most options for what I need. About of healthy and organic options. And you cannot beat the prices, at least not legally.

This is the best place to buy gluten free! Ive bought bread, pasta, cookies, cereal, and all sorts of other products that Ive used in baking. Everything is super discounted. I also buy the beauty products. They keep getting the jojoba oil I use for my face. There are essential oils, bath products, childrens medicines, vitamins and protein shakes, probiotics, and deodorants. I check here first before I go into any other stores like WalMart or Target. Everything is at least 20% less and a lot of it is 50 to 70% off. Everyone that works in the store is well mannered and its nice to go into a store and be greeted immediately. Checkout is quick and simple unlike the Save A Lot that was there before it.

If you were to shop at this market weekly, you will find that things are more cheaper and the produce department is great and people thats on a low budget can benefit from it. Its a good place to shop.

My wife and I enjoy shopping at Sunflower. We have purchased many products at significant discounts over local grocery stores. Sure we have seen a few outdated and short dated items. Frankly, we have been a number of them. If these bother you, just dont buy them. We have also purchased items we had never seen before and loved almost all of them. Does a roughed up cereal box bother me if I can save $? Nope. The deals far outweigh any perceived issues. We love poking around looking for a new treasure or a bargain on a favorite. Well be back!

This is a really nice place to shop when you are looking for something different or not always available at the store. The prices are good here too, so you can try products cheaply.

Will never spend a penny at this business.Completely disrespected my entire family to include my 1 year old daughter.As an Afghanistan veteran and a business owner myself. To have someone either and employee or a patron shout..yes shout! Across the store regarding a political affiliation that I may or may not have is insanity. To have my family followed and belittled through the store over a mask is disgusting and belittling. There are ways to handle situations and these people do not know how to do that. I will not support them or refer anyone to support them in any capacity. Terrible excuse for a business my money will be spent at their competition.

I totally get you are a liquidator store, I totally get you are a discount store.I understand food doesnt spoil the moment it expires....but wow. LOTS of expired merch for things I was interested in. We are now February 2021, Almosy March 2021.....youre still selling items from August 2020?Lets get a grip and get at least a bit of responsibility for pulling older outdates. I knew what you were going in, but dang.....August 2020?Probably wont return....shame, because your produce was pretty decent!!!

Please note that the inventory at your original store is kind of scant these days due to the Englewood store I understand all the inventory is now received at Englewood and then eventually makes it to the original store near Hancock Bridge Pkwy on perhaps a Saturday morning? I have checked once a week for the last 3 visits for several items such as cheeses, Amys frozen meals or similar. I like your store very much but many shelves were bare today...whats up? Im super understanding and find a variety of things whenever I go..but was curious.

Customer service was good, and excited they have Troyers Trail bologna and cheeses! Great for an Ohio Girl.

When youre more interested in enforcing mask policy than you are selling groceries.

Very disappointed if you mandate a mask in your store you might not want to jump on the shopper as they are checking out. Yes I left my cart at the register and the manager on duty was fine with me walking out with not much to say. Other than goodbye so now you as a company you need to understand that when there is 3 customers in the store and plenty of social distancing you dont have to jump on someone without a mask hope you survive the summertime in Englewood. I did support you and have frequently shopped here without a mask at your grand opening waited for the ribbon to be cut no mask people everywhere. Having a shopping experience is valuable in Englewood just spent my money at publix and didnt have a mask on not a word said to me poor decisions on having people challenged will make for a bad experience in Englewood.

Terrible customer service, owner was extremely rude over mandating a mask, was yelled at by one of the employees saying this is not Trump country. Food is outdated. If you want to keep your freedom I would not recommend this store. Unfortunately they probably wont stay open in Englewood very long with this kind of behavior.
