Shopped yesterday and the place is really gross. Took the two pictures over by the cheese and two by the meats. They only clean if there is an inspection coming up. And lets no talk about all the moving of items constantly and the long lines. I shop for 15 minutes and then stand in lines for 30 minutes or more. Poor customer service!

This stores management and customer service department are the worst Ive ever had to deal with. Never going back. And Im going to let everyone I know not to shop there. So disappointing. The customer service lady hung up on me today. What is wrong with people.

They found a way to keep in house money. How are just going to assume that I don’t want my change back? Maybe that was my last 50 cents or maybe I wanted to save it either way I should be able to decide that. If they keep 50 cents from 100,000 customers that’s an extra $50,000 they get to hold onto. I hope everyone reads this and puts their foot down….. Thieves!!!!

Edit... I really wish that I could leave more than one review. This store is awful. One star rating (the lowest I can leave) is 3 stars more than they deserve. The condition of their carts is an embarrassment. Something happened here the last three months that made it much worse. Management change? Ive looked for a management person to complain to, but cant find anyone. Thinking theyre hiding. Anyways, just wanted to add that, believe it or not, theyre actually getting worse.Poorly laid out. Popular items are put in cramped areas. Never have enough staff to handle busy times. Meijer is much better. I very rarely do reviews and when I do, its for something thats either very good or extremely bad. No guessing where Krogers falls.

I have been shopping at this store since it opened. The carts are what should be an embarrassment to the store. They need new electric carts too. On a Sunday afternoon, every register should be open. There were 5 open today at 330. The lines were so long they went past the center aisle. Half of the self check outs were closed. Ive noticed that kroger only responds to people who arent ripping them a new one. Kroger needs to examine this store more closely. Troy should be where they start. Much better store but I dont live in Troy

Terrible. Theyve gone from best to worst in this area. The lines are ridiculous and they are moving things around yet again just to ensure you waste the maximum amount of time looking for things. Not going back.

Everytime Ive been in for the past month or more Ive waited in line longer than it takes to shop for hundreds of dollars worth of groceries and that includes the additional time it takes with the new layout. Not to mention finding a way through or to the back of these lines is such an ordeal.Any rearrangement is naturally obnoxious but the placement of some of these necessities in high traffic areas (like the new bread isle) just lacks basic common sense. To add additional frustration utility carts are left around in areas of congestion and the customer carts are awful! They definitely need servicing especially with the increased demand in agility we now have.The system to retrieve our primo water coupons is no longer worth it. Spending 10 minutes at the service desk before spending >30 minutes in check-out.Im guessing your hurting for employees and my advice is to pay them better and bonuses. Theyve been the reason Ive returned here for the past ten years. Ive always had above and beyond exceptional service. Im getting strong vibes that the issues currently affecting me come from higher up, maybe corporate. Anyways the maze of agitation has officially made driving the additional time to Meijer worth it.

I was there yesterday afternoon. Of course, it was crowded! But what stands out to me is that during a serious anxiety attack, they showed me compassion and kindness. Marissa, a manager, and Christian, an employee should be commended for going above and beyond 5-star customer service. I would like to thank the customer who stopped to hug me. I know that this pandemic has strained peoples emotions to the maximum and brought out the best or worst of humanity. I am so glad that I encountered some of the best people. Thank you, Kroger, your customer service is excellent. Please find those two individuals and thank them for me.

I used to work for Kroger. Sadly Kroger isnt what it used it be.Ive been to this Kroger twice in the past two weeks. Once was to get Px from the pharmacy for my wife, and once to get Px for myself.The first time I called the pharmacy, the automated phone tree told me all Px were ready. I went in, they were not all ready. We were give some excuse. Then they didnt have the correct I surance info for my wife. After they updated the insurance info we waited 29 minutes.Today I went in the store at 0830, the pharmacy was closed. I picked up some items I needed. They had one register open, and and 4 out of 10 or 12 self-check-out stations working.The register had 8 people in line. The self-check-out had 8 people in line.I also dont work for Kroger, it is not my job to play cashier, Im not getting paid to do it. If you want me to play cashier, and scan my own groceries then give me a discount on my groceries!So, I got my groceries, went to my car and waited for the pharmacy to open. At 0900 I went in, there were 5 people in line for the pharmacy, and only 1 person working behind the counter to lick up Px.They had my info, by my Px, which was sent yesterday morning, wasnt ready today! They told me I would have to wait 20 minutes. What a load of BS! I dont have time to waste making multiple trips Kroger, I might give Kroger one last chance, then I will find another Pharmacy. I have no other reason to go to Kroger, their grocery prices are way too high compared to other stores.

Good but they need to step it up on stocking my favorite items. Also, people who purchased seafood over a certain amount had to pay at the customer service area due to theft and shrinkage. Sad, but true.

The produce selection and quality is very good here. The deli and seafood sections are good as well.This is the least confusing layout of a Kroger that I have seen. Everything follows a pretty logical path, no matter which entrance you use.Im very happy theyve put up safety shields between check out lanes and are making people wear masks as well.

Ordered a cake for my daughter here because Walmart was having terrible customer service and was hoping we would get better here. They had a a little over a week to make my daughters cake only to mis-spell Birthday (Birtday) and then did no spacing between Happy & Birthday. Also the sides of the cake look liked the cake was collapsing/crushed. And the design was peeling off! They gave my hubby $10 back even though we wanted a refund we couldn’t make the cake again because we needed for today for her bday. We have one very unhappy 9 year old and Mama! I have pictures of it as well. Dollar tree would have done better at making this cake !

I am extremely disappointed with the cake that I ordered from here. It is so sloppy, Im embarrassed to bring it to my party. The cake was placed crooked on the cardboard underneath, so when I came to pick it up the icing was smashed and messed up on the back. The writing on it is so sloppy and not even spaced out. birthday is written into the side frosting of the cake you cant even read it. AND the cake is uneven on the top. it looks like its melting, its that uneven. I will never order another cake from here again. :( Im seriously super upset.

I had an issue with the lottery machine and I spoke with the young lady Jamie at the desk. She was so rude that another customer had to tell her that I was next in line. She definitely needs a class in customer service!

The store is great and clean. Most of the employees are helpful and kind. But every time i go there is extremely long lines and not enough registers open.

Great options and lots of variety but lines are way too long, not enough cashiers and it’s always extremely crowded unfortunately.

This store and all the Kroger Marketplace locations have really taken a large step forward. The additional food items and selection is huge, plus the additional brands offered make their selection the best in Dayton, Ohio.After changing the focus from home goods to clothes, Kroger has added a section of very good clothing values and brands at unbeatable prices.Lastly, the desire to help folks find things and provide impeccable service can be experienced daily by a cast of employees across the board at every Krogers Ive shopped in.

Wife bought a roaster chicken with a bag marked cooked at 11:00. She purchased it at 11:30 am. Bag had no juices and chicken was bone dry. How can one explain a freshly roasted bird and no juice. Think about it.

Ray in the pharmacy was extremely rude and condescending to my wife today when she went for a scheduled rapid covid test. He refused to administer the test without her providing her SS#. I did the test yesterday without providing mine. He also loudly verbally announced all her personal medical information in front of other customers and employees. Not only was this extremely rude but likely violated HIPPA guidelines.Krogers needs to do a better job training their employees to be professional and coach those who can not handle the pressure.I have never had a negative experience at this krogers before and would consider this an exception to the norm.I hope they do the right thing and resolve this issue.

Im not sure what it is about the culture of those in charge of self check out but repeatedly I am ignored by those attending this station or glared at angrily as if Ive stole something or offended someone. Very rude customer service who wont even check IDs for alchohol if there not in the mood even though I believe its mandated. One could assume multiple reasons why they look at me and my wife as if we are criminals but Ill just acknowledge the fact there plain rude and disrespectful

I am medically exempt from wearing a mask and well this Krogers will no longer get my money. I was told I had to have one and told the clerk at the door I cant wear one so we left. I have a medical reason not to wear one and u refused service so I guess alot of people will not be shopping in your store anymore....Update: two of my boyfriends sons went in Friday evening a d nobody told them to wear a mask.....so I guess the girl at the door must have got her feelings hurt by people

Too many empty shelves, do they really need four potato chip aisles??? Bread aisle about 1/3 empty...at 4:30 on Friday afternoon. Freezer cases front halves empty, you practically have to climb in the case to reach what you want. I dread going there because its like walking a football field.The one good thing I can say is the meat in the deli is good and the cashiers are always very pleasant.

I understand that sometimes you can be short-staffed, knowing full well the effects since I work in retail, but I feel its a bit crazy to have only one cashier working and one section of the self scan at a time. Never before have I had to wait 10 mins in line to use self check out, and it only kept getting longer. I feel sorry for the cashiers that had to deal with this tonight.Store was also a bit of a mess and some shelves were quite empty, but otherwise the sales and what not were fine. Just wish they had more staff at night, as its still pretty busy.

The staff was so friendly and helpful today. They saw me struggling with my cart and baby and a manager grabbed my cart and opened a lane up for me. As she pulled my cart in another worker came and unloaded my cart. Another worker bagged my groceries and walked me out to the car..... Excellent customer service

Excellent I was able to get assistance when trying to find an item. Some items were on sale I did save $13.00 with my Kroger plus card. I wish I had digital coupons. Im very satisfied. Some items were priced higher than other stores. I will have to go to Big Lots for my Snuggles fabric softener its cheaper at Big Lots. Kroger fabric softeners were all higher than Big Lots name brand.

My favorite grocery store. Love their meat and produce. I feel that some of their prices are a bit high sometimes. With that being said, theyre always having sales on all kinds of different things. I feel that their sales and online coupons make shopping there worth it. Not to mention being able to earn fuel points!! I love Kroger!!

I love Kroger, but please consider bringing back scan bag and go, or employing more cashiers during weekdays. Its hard for a preschool mom to get in and out anymore.

Tons of registers always open, there always stocked/cleaned up, and the place is always busy. That might sound like a bad thing but I rarely have to wait to get through a line. Its busy because they know how to treat people, and get them in and out when they need too. While I havent used their online grocery service, I also havent heard the best things about it!

I understand that it might be crazy there right now, but it doesn’t give someone an excuse to be incredibly nasty and rude, they damaged my purchase when I did a pickup order, and when I called the girl was basically like what the hell do you want, she was annoyed that I had to call when THEY made a mistake. I’m tempted to call management.

There are a lot of items and prices are reasonable, a lot of walking, and the workers are pleasant and helpful. With the rewards card you save a good bit and can get discounted gas. Very happy with the quality of food.

I shop here every week because its very conveniently located. The prices are a bit high on some things & once in a while the lines are long but what you go there for is always in stock & fresh. And the store is always clean.

This is a biased review of this store, I used to work here in the grocery dept. I love this store because it is always clean looking, big and relatively open design floor plan, less cramped than older Kroger stores. Since I used to work here, I know where everything is so I never have to ask anyone. This is a great store to go every year after a holiday to find marked down holiday items (candy, crafts, general merchandise).I dont miss working for the company, but the department head staff here is great, but there are too many corporate managers here who just get in the way of the department lead staff who, at this store, have been doing the job much longer than the younger management staff.

Enjoyed the sushi. My favorite is the cream cheese roll which is never in stock so I get them to make mines fresh. Tuna, salmon, crab you can specialty order your sushi. I also wish theyd have a pizza oven. And fresh sub maker. But, its still an excellent Kroger:)

Found the few things I needed quickly. Wrote a check at self checkout and still got in and out in no time. Also paid cash for gas and got done with that quickly as well.

Horrible experience in click list. The express line was 21 cars because they had two people bringing out the groceries and one of them was just texting on her phone a lot of the time. Would not recommend them until they get their act together. Just FYI

If you want to go to a huge Kroger grocery store, this is the place. Almost too big to find anything not out in the open. It also seemed like my grocery bill was a little more than usual even though I didnt buy anything out of the ordinary. I do love their huge selection of organic foods, though - definitely made it worth the extra time.

It was a terrible experience. We stoped to get something at the deli to eat the girl that waited on us wasnt very friendly and we got pizza and she barely warmed it up and it was terrible. Dont buy the pizza from there.The Kroger in Troy has much better food and the people are very Friendly..The lady at the checkout was very nice and helpful that was the only good thing about the store.

I have 2 requests. 1. The click list people do a better job on picking your items. I either get half rotten produce or buy one get one items that Im not happy with. If you buy a roast and get one free shouldnt you get close to the same size? 2. The last 3 times Ive purchased potatoes they were rotten on the inside and unusable. Quality check in your produce please.Again.... another sad click list trip to this store. If you are going to sell your strawberries at a 3 for $5 deal at least tell your customers to expect half of them to be rotten. How is click list a time saver for your customer when Im wasting money and having to run back to your store. This is RIDICULOUS!!!July 27th.....That wonderful tool corporate gave you of notifying customers BEFORE they pick up click list of out of stock items needs to be used EVERY DAY, not just when you feel like it. And ALL of my frozen stuff was thawed. Either you are not picking and storing in freezer like you are required to do OR your freezers need attention!! This is the 3rd time Ive called your store about this. Im done with this joke of a Kroger!!

Would really appreciate having bagging personnel be trained to NOT bag cold foods with items that are boxed (i.e., Mac & Cheese, etc.) or with breads. Do they use any common sense when the bag things? No, they dont....Having them pay attention to the task at hand instead of talking to the cashier would be a plus as well.

Good place to Shop nice selection and clean store. Down side the bathrooms are gross and they need more baggers. If youre spending 300 bucks or more you shouldnt have to bag your own stuff.

Ive been shopping here since I was in my little Bert and Ernie slippers and Im 37. I want to say that all the employees are great, however,Lori and Mark (11pm-7am shift I believe) are the best. They are very sweet and caring people in general. Thanks Kroger for always having what I need and being patient when I come through with two carts full of groceries. God bless you all!

The store is well stocked. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Sometimes when they are out of an item they will issue you a rain check.

I like Kroger because I get what I want & its easy getting out. People, dont want to be in crowded grocery stores where the clerk constantly complain that she wants to go home. To top that off you cant check out because the check out is blocked off & the self check out is closed but one light is blinking like Im the very last and Im going to close soon.

I love this Kroger. The Deli is set up nicely food not only looks good it taste good, followed by friendly knowledgeable employees. Awesome job. Keep up the good work.

Fairly nice store. Has all the essentials and more. Plus a liquor store and one of the better craft beer selections as far as grocery stores go. Only issue is it is ALWAYS packed.

Management has demonstrated they could not care less about the customer. I went in tonight and found the manager had ordered the table removed where people sit at wine tasting!. This disdain for the customer suggests this store should be avoided! Great employees, but a bag boy for a manager!

My family has been using the clicklist and it has been great! They even do well selecting your meats. If you want to make grocery shopping quick and convenient... this is the way!

Nice produce and health food section. We use a water dispenser and fill water jugs at the grocery, but we avoid using this particular Krogers water filling station because it tastes terrible. Im not sure why, but the water has an iron taste that my family cant stomach. Other than that issue, I prefer this Kroger to others.

I just recently started going to this grocery and have really liked it! This is a very large Kroger so it has more than a typical Kroger store has. It also has an AWESOME fresh produce section! Would highly recommend!

I am extremely frustrated with Kroger Pharmacy! I have not ever written a bad review for anyone but customer service is so awful that I cant leave this undone.I droped off my prescription refill in person this morning. I was told it would take 3 to 4 hours to fill. Really? So I go home and return in the rain 4 hours later, stand in line 10 cutomers deep and when I finally got waited on.... my prescription wasnt ready because it has to be ordered. I cannot get it for 3 days! No text, no phone call, no nothing.Thanks Krogers for taking such good care of me. NOT!😡🤬😡

I love this store for its variety, cleanliness, and friendly customer service! My only complaint is the lack of cosmetic products for ethnicities other than European. I did speak with a manager and was given a number to the customer service in Cincinnati; as a director in marketing, I am well aware of how incorrectly the situation was handled. I do still exclusively shop here for grocery items, especially organics 😉

Ive shopped here for several years and they are now renovating for the second time in about 5 years. Not pleased at all with the new and improved layout of the store. The natural and vegetarian foods used to conveniently be together in one section; now they are scattered around the store.

Its a decent size Kroger with a good produce selection. It also has some housewares items and a good health and beauty section. The downfall is that this Kroger is usually really busy and chaotic. My fiance and I shop really late at night and it is even busy at those hours.

You can find just about anything here, everything is usually tidy and easy to find. The checkouts, however, need more staffing. Especially the bagging area! Overall a decent shopping experience.
