Convenient location. Personnel very helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to give you assistance. Its not a Home Depot.

Good store. Friendly knowlegable staff. But they cant carry the kind of sellection as the big stores. That said, their selection of mouldings and trim is actually better than the big two. That and location make them my go-to on many occasions.

Sent over too much lumber for my build, I questioned it early on and was told that they would pick up any leftover lumber. Well when the time came to get the extra lumber, no recollection of our previous convo, told they can’t pick up the extra lumber and I was basically out of luck. Spoke with Vinny who also flat out lied about losing my phone number even though I called him on his cell phone from an out of state number, should have been pretty easy to get my number off the recent calls list. They are quick to charge your credit card and super fast delivery to the job site but don’t count on customer service after the materials are delivered. I always try to support small business but lack of good customer service and doing the right thing is why corporate stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s are thriving. Down right shameful

I went into this place for first time today to get a few simple things for my new home the costomer service i received inside was awesome. Then i got sent to there lumber yard to have a piece of metal cut. And was told im not gonna ruin my 50 dollar blade to cut that for you well Matt congratulations if u goal today was to be hateful and unprofessional with ur new costumers you knock it out the park today my man. This place has everything you could ask for when it comes to any type of home project. The customer service is awesome the other reviews on here are simply wrong and must be from people who just hate the world. I have been to blackland building supply many times and never once have I had any trouble. They are the greatest lumber yard in the great state of Texas . It doesnt matter if you are replacing the weather stripping on your door or trying to build a mansion on a mountain top this is the place that will get the job done. As far as staff goes they are some of the most knowledgeable people in their field and will assist you in anyway possible. They have a fleet of delivery trucks big and small. If you are looking to build a house this is the place for you.

Over priced just as bad as the others in the area & closes way to early 5:30 pm they want to be the premier hardware store within 25 miles and yet they dont stay open till at least 8 pm so people that work can come in and shop there I hope lowes or home depot open here.....they will go out of business fast
