Needed to get 2 iPhone 8 screens repaired and also needed SIM cards replaced for them while changing carriers. Quick, easy, very good value for the time and money spent. Recommend.

Way cheaper than having to buy a new iPhone! Better prices for accessories than my carrier. Omar was very friendly and helpful. I will go back there again.

Went there to replace broken front glass. They installed a tinted ( couldnt see screen), and totally defective cover. My volume stopped working, my screen kept turning black and in general the phone was totally messed up. After 3 return trips in one day they finally agreed that the phone was so messed up that they agreed to order the proper LG screen. After a few more days the Correct screen arrived and the defective/ garbage screen they initially installed was replaced with what should have been done initially. Sloppy and careless job initially done. They should have seen the phone was not working when they tried to return the damaged phone to me. I must admit after several torturous days waiting for the replacement, my phone is finally working properly (back to normal). All this was unnecessary if the correct replacement cover and installation was done at the beginning.

I got my phone fixed here before and it was great, but this time not so much. Actually, not at all. I recently cracked my screen and had water damage so got it repaired, they replaced the fee was $200. Okay, no big deal. A day later the top right corner of my screen stopped working, then eventually the whole screen. I noticed little hairline fractures immediately, I called and asked for some sort of refund or discount and they flat out told me no. I had to do some negotiating to get my phone fixed properly and they did NOT honor my warranty. These guys are absolute ripoffs, after paying the initial $200 I paid an additional $70 to fix THEIR mistake. Never coming back. I advise you find another phone repair business to fix your phone.

I requested a repair quote to replace a worn down key on my MacBook keyboard. Of course anything Apple is too expensive so I opted to hold off on fixing it. However, the guy I spoke to was really nice and very helpful. He gave me good advice when I asked him for a good recommendation on a good PC laptop for my wife. Very much appreciated. I will be going back to CPR next time I need computer repair.

These guys are friendly and they do as promised in the time they said. In my case, they said to be there by 4 PM for a same-day job. I got there at 3:50 PM, they said they could maybe finish by the next morning because it was cutting it close to their closing time, but one of the guys said to go ahead and come back at 5:45 PM so I didnt have to drive back from Chula Vista the next day. I appreciate that they finished on time and saved me a trip. Ill definitely be back here for other repairs.

I recently cracked my MacBook screen to the point that my laptop wouldnt even turn on. I called multiple places in search of finding the cheapest and most trustworthy place; and without a doubt, I ended up at JI. No apple care but luckily I found these guys who were able to fix the screen quickly and put on a screen protector so this wont happen again. Excellent service a couple weeks ago. The USB-C charger cable wouldnt stay plugged in my phone. I couldnt figure it out on my own, so I brought it in fearing Id have to pay for a new port or even just buy a new phone. Omar looked at it, dug some hard-packed pocket lint out, and refused to take any money for it--not even a tip. He then volunteered to look at a hairline crack in my 2-in-1 laptop screen and took several minutes to look up how much the part might cost, again for free. (I chose not to get that repaired because the crack is hardly noticeable and not worth the money to fix.) He was super friendly and super professional the whole time. When it comes to customer service, he gets it. I would not hesitate to come here again.

Dont go here its a scam. I called for a iphone repair got one price over the phone just for a screen replacement, then got there it was a whole way higher price. I dont care paying the higher price its just the principle. Maybe better training on whos answering the phone.

My kid dropped my phone and screen was static. They first told me that it would need a new screen for $135. When I returned a couple hours later, it was fixed for only $50 labor with a promise that if the issue recurred, they would apply the $50 as a credit towards my full repair. I am so grateful that I found this place, they replaced my shattered phone screen in a hour and a half for a quarter of the cost that I would have paid to replace it. They were honest and helpful explaining ahead of time how much it would be and how long it would take and then stuck to their estimate! I was impressed that they could fix it, but even more delighted with the low cost. Ill be recommending this place to anyone I know who has a damaged phone or tablet.

Well first off for me its a huge turn off to go to a business and to see one of their employees with a company shirt and who went into the closed store and came out to be smoking a bong in his car out in front of the store. Not what I would like to see in a professional business. My dealing were good. They had to go through 4 screens on my LG v20 before they found one that worked. When I went to pick up my phone the screen was bad. They took 15 min and replaced it. Come that night the proximity sensor was not working right. Took it back they fixed that and the headphone plug that they broke. Finally after 4 days all is good. They followed through and got my phone working correctly. Two concerns one is it leads me to question how good the parts are if 4 screens were broken and also they charged $50 for 15 min of work to change the screen. And they told me up to 2 hours to fix it. Seems like a lot. Anyways Ill use them again but kind of put off by some of my experience. They customer experience was very dry and made me feel as if it was a bother to have them fix my phone.

I found JI Phone repair, Escondido CA, to fix my son’s IPad Air 2 screen on yelp. I chose them because of the 5 star rating. Did on line questionnaire to get price and appointment. Had a little issue with the confirmation of deposit amount, $30, with “Stripe” however web site was clear and straight forward. Quoted amount on website was $70 Material and $30 Labor. I had checked Apple and same service was $299. Selected appointment time with JI one hour from time I submitted deposit payment. All 1st rate!I then called shop to ask if I could bring it in latter in the day. JI Person explained that he did not see my order/appointment in the system. Then explained that if this was for service on the IPad Air 2, the pricing on the website are incorrect. The actual price is $280. I suggested this “error” in the Website should be corrected. He explained that he is not the person for JI that would correct This issue.I would understand if this was a reasonable increase, however 3x!?!?

The power jack on my 18 month old Moto X pure phone was becoming intermittent and it was becoming hard to charge .I did quite a bit of research and called around many shops in the area looking for a facility that could repair the jack. What I found was that it took a specially trained technician to do the soldering since it involved sensitive electronics.The ones I did find had a decent price but a long turnaround time or a higher price for a short turnaround time. It was important that I had a short repair time since I did not want to be without my phone for long.I found Jl repair by driving by and walked in and asked for a quote. They were about $20 less that I found elsewhere and they provided a one-day turnaround.I got my phone back repaired as promised and its been working great ever since. I will definitely be going back to them if I need any other service for my phone.I know of two locations in North County of San Diego one in Vista and one in Escondido, I used the Escondido facility.

Went here and got my phone screen fixed in 2 hours. It was a Moto so it was a little more expensive but they had the parts in store. The screen now has some minor pixel issues, but it works and was way cheaper and easier than getting a new phone.

They tried to charge me $250 dollars to repair my iPhone 6 plus. When I asked how come? There only response was because its different than the 6. I ended up going to the Apple Store. They did for me for $150 with original parts.I dont recommend this place.

Broken screen repair gone wrong. JI couldnt replace my screen (OnePlus 5t) unfortunately, wrong parts were ordered delying repair, extra damage was caused by poor installation when correct parts installed, poor communication, and not very warm welcoming at store location.

So I am writing this review for my mom. She took her phone here to JI Phone Repair, and it had a cracked screen. they told her it would be done in about an hour or 2, but that they would call me when it was done. 3 hours had passed and still no answer. Finally we went back to pick up her phone hoping it would be done, and when we got there, they told us that supposedly it was more than just a cracked screen. and it was going to be more expensive than what they had originally quoted. I told them we were going to get a second opinion before going forward. we took the phone to another shop called Fix My Phone SD to get it looked at by them. they told us that they found a bunch of problems inside of the phone all of which looked like they were caused by a technician who obviously didnt know what they were doing. and that there were parts that had been replaced with aftermarket parts in the phone. before this phone broke last week it had never been opened before.. it was brand new when she got her phone. and she had never taken it get worked on by anyone. So thank you Fix My Phone SD for showing us the difference between OEM and Aftermarket parts. and after they put all of the original parts back in and replaced the screen with a new one, everything worked as it should. and it only took them about 30 minutes to do the repair once all was explained and whatnot. and they gave my mom an excellent deal on pricing cause they felt bad about what JI did to her. so why it was going to take a total of like 4 hours at JI is beyond me. but I will never go back to JI ever again. incompetent techs and low quality parts now thats a dangerous mixture... STAY AWAY! do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. but I went to Fix My Phone SD and they were great!

My phone was shattered and the screen was coming out & I took it to these guys to fix. Obviously after I was so hyped because it had been broken for so long. After 3 months or so I had never dropped it, until one I was getting on the bus and dropped it. The screen popped out again! I even had a case on. Im not sure if when they fix your phone they replace your battery but if they did they used a cheap ass one or something because my phone dies at like 60% and if I want to use snapchat or something I have to be charging it or itll just turn off and say its dead. It never did this before they fixed it. Worst place ever. Btw I have an I Phone 5s.

On 9/21/2015, I called JI Phone repair to see if they could fix my cracked screen on my iPhone 6. They said yes and their asking price to fix it was $95. I could not pick up on the same day, that was my choice due to prior engagements.I come back today (9/22/2015) at 230pm to pick up my phone, I received bad news. First, they had to use two or three different screens to fit my phone. Next the salesman said they touch id isnt working and the touch screen isnt working. Next, the phone is overheating when in use. Now, I have to wait until 730 for them to take it to the Apple Store in the Escondido Mall to see if it can be fix. I wish Google had negative star rating system, I think they screw up my phone.
